Chapter 14: The God of Destruction's Revival!

In the basement of Nemesis' Seal...

"The time is ripe." Pluto told Johannes, the seeker having brought Aguma and Chris to him. "Now, give the power of the Star Fragment residing in your Beys to Nemesis. Now, we will begin the revival ceremony of Nemesis." he declared, Aguma and Chris bringing out their Bey and transfer their Star Fragments' power to release the seal. "Awaken now from your long sleep. Oh Black Sun, God of Destruction, Nemesis!" activating his amulet, he drew out the Star Fragment's power from Aguma's and Chris' Beys. The combined power shot into the air, forming a tornado of energy and shot downwards to the seal and causing a Beydish to rise, a single Beyblade was seen rotating in the middle of the Beydish. "The Nemesis has just awoken." he informed. "It is just like a newborn baby. Nemesis will use the power of the Star Fragment that your Beys possess to grow. And then, when it is given to the Legendary Blader worthy of wielding it, it will finally become the fully-fledged God of Destruction."

"Nemesis chooses the Blader?" Bao echoed. "So that means that that Blader hasn't been decided yet. If I were chosen to be that Legendary Blader, then things would change." his decision made, he stepped up. "If Aguma and I both have Beys that contain the power of the Star Fragment, then the day the School of Beylin Fist controls the world draws even closer. Come to me now, Nemesis." he ordered.

The Bey emitted a powerful surge of energy, throwing Bao off.

"How foolish." Pluto mocked. "The God of Destruction cannot be claimed by just anyone."

"Nemesis needs another Legendary Blader." Johannes explained. "The Child of the Black Sun is who he is looking for."

"Now, launch your Beys." Pluto instructed. "While we await the Child of the Black Sun, we will pour the power of the Star Fragment your Beys possess directly into Nemesis. What's wrong?" he taunted Aguma and Chris. "Is that all you've got? You won't even tickle the newborn Nemesis with that. Come at it with your full strength. Don't stop. Keep on attacking. Don't hold back now. Give every last drop of your power to our God of Destruction. That's the way." he laughed, Aguma and Chris summoning their Bey Spirits. "Your Blader will arrive shortly. At that time, the God of Destruction, Nemesis, will be completely revived."

Absorbing all the offered energy, Nemesis charged up, shooting up a purple dark energy beam into the sky.

In the desert...

"Jupiter..." Dynamis took out his glowing Bey, he and Seina were traveling towards their enemy's headquarters.

"We're too late." Seina breathed in horror.

With Ginga's group...

"It's bad, Ginga." Ryūsei opened communication to his son.

"What?" Ginga exclaimed after Ryūsei informed him what had happened. "Nemesis has become active?" "Is that really true, Dad?"

"There is no doubt." Ryūsei confirmed.

"Mere moments ago, we confirmed an intense burst of energy in the Southeastern part of Mexico." Hikaru explained.

"This is evidence that something major has begun to happen." Ryūsei added.

"Wait a second, sir." Yuki started. "Did you say the Southeastern part of Mexico?"

"That's right." Ryūsei knew where Yuki's thoughts had gone. "Where the ancient Mayan civilization predicted the destruction of humanity."

"If the evildoers used the Mayan calendars and ancient scripts to learn of it as I did, then they are way ahead of us on this thing and that is a very bad situation." Yuki realized. "Just think: Nemesis was sleeping in the ruins of the Mayans, waiting for Hades' descendants to discover its presence there all this time."

"That would also explain the intense burst of energy that we just experienced." Ryūsei agreed.

"The Star Fragment is reacting to the increased activity of Nemesis." Yuki concluded. "This is a sign that Nemesis is being revived as we speak."

"Let's go." Ginga decided. "Since we know where the enemy is, we shouldn't waste any more time. We'll go after them right now and Nemesis' revival is toast."

"But how can we?" Madoka asked. "Nemesis has already become active."

"Not yet." Ginga corrected. "Nemesis needs all ten pieces of the Star Fragment to be fully revived. They should only have three of them: Aguma's Chronos, Chris' Orion and the one that fell to Nemesis itself."

"That's true." Yuki agreed. "Right now, we have three of them here: my Anubius, Mr. Ginga's Pegasus and Mr. King's Bey."

"If you include Kyoya's and Tithi's, that new guy he found, then we have five in total." Benkei pointed out.

"We have to leave right away." Ginga declared. "We'll combine our strength and stop Nemesis' revival together. Hikaru, please get in touch with Kyoya's group and tell them about this."

"I'll send a helicopter for you." Ryūsei added. "The world's future is in your hands."

In the helicopter...

"We've almost made it to the Mayan ruins where the huge burst of energy came from." Madoka informed everyone.
