"Just One Quick Stop Before We Go"

"Trina Robinson, I'm back and this time I'm not leaving alone," Spencer said, as he knocked on Trina's dorm door for the second time in almost as many hours. Spencer could hardly contain his excitement, as he waited at the door for his girlfriend. He had tried earlier to convince Trina to leave with him then, but she would not be moved. So, when she had texted him that she had finished her paper and was all packed, Spencer could not have moved faster.

When Trina opened the door, she was met with a quick kiss from Spencer, who quickly entered the room. Once in, he spotted Trina's bag, grabbed it, headed for the door, and said, "Alright, let's get this trip started! NYC here we come!" As he started to leave, Trina smiled and stayed put. It took him a few moments to realize that he had started off by himself. So, he turned around and saw Trina-just standing there.

"Trina, what's wrong? NYC awaits. Let's go. It's time for our fun to begin!" Spencer insisted.

"Come here," Trina said seductively, as she wiggled her finger encouraging him to come to where she was standing. Even though Spencer was chomping at the bit to leave, he could not resist Trina's invitation. So, he playfully sauntered over. He positioned himself as close to her as possible. Their eyes met and Trina slowly moved her hands up to Spencer's neck and began to pull him towards her. Next, she stood on her tiptoes and gave him a kiss unlike any that they had ever shared. It lingered on for quite some time, with moans emanating from both Spencer and Trina. To signal the end of the kiss, Trina's hands moved slowly from Spencer's neck, to his shoulders, and down his chest before taking hold of his hands.

"Well, what did you think of that?" Trina asked softly. Spencer was speechless. "Was that to your liking?" Trina tried rephrasing her question.

"Trina Robinson, what are you trying to do to me? I liked everything about that and I will like it even more once we arrive in NYC. So...please...can we go? Like now?" Spencer pleaded playfully.

"Spencer, you know that I am so excited for this trip and all that you have planned for us. I think, no, I know that this is going to be such a special time for us. But, before we get started, I need for us to make just one quick stop. Please," Trina requested sweetly. Spencer could see that whatever Trina was requesting was truly important, because he knew how much she was looking forward to the trip.

"Just tell me where we need to stop, baby," Spencer replied.

Just a little while later, Trina and Spencer were standing at Taggert's front door. Unlike the last time, he opened the door immediately. He greeted Trina with a smile and a big hug. For Spencer, he gave a firm handshake.

"Come in, you two," Taggert said as he motioned for Trina and Spencer to come inside.

"Thanks, Dad, but we're not going to stay long. I just wanted to check in on you, in person, before we left," Trina said.

"Left for where?" Taggert asked, as he took a seat. Trina and Spencer, despite being ready to start their trip, felt compelled to sit, as well.

"We're going to NY for the weekend," Trina replied, as she watched for his reaction.

Taggert took a moment to look at both Spencer and Trina. As they sat next to each other, Taggert could tell that their bond had only continued to strengthen. And he knew that Trina was happy, and that Spencer was a big reason for that.

"What's on the agenda for the big city?" Taggert asked a shocked, but relieved, Trina and Spencer.

After they filled him in on their plans, Taggert wished them a safe and happy trip.

"Thanks, Dad. If you need me..."

"I won't and I wouldn't. I'm working on my fourth step and you two have an amazing time waiting on you, and you both deserve it. I'm here able to wish you well because of how you both took time to help me when I was at my lowest. So, please go. Get on the road so that your amazing trip can commence," Taggert replied.

"I love you, Dad," Trina said.

"I love you, baby girl. Take care, Spencer," Taggert said.

After Taggert walked them to the door and closed it, Spencer and Trina took off as fast as they could. As they hopped in the car, Spencer said, "Miss Robinson, for the second and final time, let's get this trip started! NYC here we come!"
