Deep in a palace stood a mysterious yet intimidating figure. Dark spyro flew into the room. The place was lit with dark purple flames that were in silver torches. The room had medals. There were undead servants spreaded throughout the chamber. The servants had dark armor on them, armed in case of an attack. The lighting was red.
"So, did you see my daughter?" a mysterious.
Voice asked from the shadows on a throne made of bones and had dark purple leather spreaded throughout it. "yes malefor I seen her. Her and her friends." dark spyro replied earnestly. Malefor emerged from the shadows, looking more intimating than ever. His yellow eyes gleamed into his soul. "so she has her own team now?" malefor's voice was gruff. It was clear he was irritated. "yes, and they are tight nit." dark spyro added."hmm…we will need someone from the inside to tear their bond apart. Someone who knows them. Someone who is experienced in stealth…" malefor glanced at dark spyro. Dark spyro grins, knowing who he's referring to. "yes, she would be perfect." he said. Kaos then walked into the hallway along with glumshanks." what brings you here?" malefor asked gruffly. "Oh, not much. I just wish to offer a…alliance. Between your undead powers and MY GLORIOUS dark magic powers, we will be unstoppable!" kaos said dramatically, as he usually does. "And why are you doing this?" dark spyro asked, curious, staring into kaos's eyes. "Oh, those skylosers recked MY KASTLE! And I want to make them pay!" he snarled. Dark spyro then looked at malefor and winked." sure…you can. After all, we could use your robust powers." he responded slyly, putting his arm on his shoulder as kaos laughed wickedly as glumshanks cowered behind.
Meanwhile
It was the next day when cynder raised her head. She stretched her wings as she yawned and felt the sun beaming onto her violet scales. Despite the feeling of warmth, she still felt a part of her that was absent. She still missed spyro dearly. She thought the curiosity of his disappearance would eventually loosen, but it seemed only to build up. She sighed as she glimpsed at portrait of them together. She stood there for a few seconds, then moved over to the door and left her room. Her nostrils caught the smell of eggs and bacon but not just any eggs and bacon food fight's eggs and bacon. was known for his pancakes, food fight was known for his pizza, eggs, and bacon. Her eyes beamed up as she started to cheer up. She walked into the kitchen that was directly across the living room, and it was an open floor plan. The islands faced towards the window and stove as well as the cabinet. There was a dining table where they would sit with a rose in a glass vase food fight would water it daily. Roller Brawl was sitting on the couch, painting her nails a glossy black. "morning, cynder." food fight greeted while cooking, he could see her through the window's reflection. "morning, food fight." she responded. Cynder then sat at the dining table. She then noticed a bag on the table. She looked closer to realize it was a gallon of milk. "stealth elf stopped here earlier to drop off a thing of milk since dark spyro ambushed food fight while trying to get some." roller brawl told cynder. Hex then walks out of her room with skull not far behind her. I got a bad feeling about today," she said. Everyone then glanced at her, concerned. "what do you mean?" cynder asked curiously. "I don't know. Something just feels off about today." hex added. Food Fight glanced at cynder. "dark spyro is going to try something, isn't he…" his voice was strangely somber.
Everyone then looks at him, stunned at his tone. He seemed serious. Cynder looked even more anxious, and she nervously wagged her tail. A few minutes later, the food was finished, and food fight handed everyone their food as they all sat down. Cynder notices food fight's uneasy and somewhat defensive undertone. "is everything alright food fight?" she asked. Food Fight looked up at her. " it's just what dark spyro been doing." food fight responded."he…just keeps getting away with what he's doing." cynder Rose, her head as she spoke, "I understand your suspicions, but I assure you that dark spyro will be found and imprisoned." food fight looked at cynder nervously. "if you think so cynder. After all, you are the leader of this team, and if you think we will be fine, I can't argue." cynder was put back from his response, her eyes shifted to a face of anger. "food fight, we are a team! You and everyone else has a say in what happens! And why would you even think I was the leader of this group!?" food fight eyes widen in shock from Cynder's response. He didn't expect her to be so fierce about her teammates share of the situation. "r-right! Sorry!" he responded. Cynder's face softened, noticing food fight's reaction. "sorry. I just didn't want you or anyone else feeling like you didn't have a say in anything." food fight was about to say something but was soon interrupted. "B team! New Leaf village is under attack by crystal monsters!" kaossandra announced on the intercom. B team then rushes to the portal and teleports to the troubled village. When they arrived, houses were on fire, monsters that had crystals on them attacked the innocents. However, they weren't the only team sent out to deal with this. The core team also arrived in the portals next to them, of course without spyro, for obvious reasons. Upon seeing the cadets, the core team's eyes widen. "Cynder, hex!? What are you all doing here!?" jet vac asked. "Headmistress kaossandra gathered us here." skull answered before Hex could, which annoyed her a little, but at least Skull didn't say anything snarky. "Really? You guys are just cadets! Man, this must be very big then." stealth elf stated. Suddenly a monster came running towards cynder. If it wasn't for Hex, she would have got knocked out.
Hex threw skull at the beast knocking it out. Of course, skull wasn't too fond of this, but he didn't say anything about it. "Alright, enough chit-chat. We need to fight these things!" eruptor stated. The two teams began to battle the monsters. Cynder breathed lightning as stealth elf teleported around, doing various hits to the monsters, pop fizz threw potions as roller brawl skated around scratching the monsters with her claws, food fight leap from building to building, either kicking the monsters in the face repeatedly or shooting tomatoes at them, jet vac used his vac gun as well as helped the Mabus escape. The portals then light up once again. Wind up, chill, and trigger happy appeared as well to help. They do their own attacks. Chill freezes the monsters as wind up attacks, trigger happy shoots his gold coins, laughing insanely. Hex was too busy fighting one of the monsters to notice that one was behind her. The monster was about to strike when suddenly food fight selflessly took the hit but also attacked it. Hex turns around upon hearing his yow of pain, only then noticing the monster behind her. "Food fight! Are you okay!?" she asks, concerned. Food Fight nods, covering the hand that got scratched. "Hex, pay attention to your surroundings!" skull hissed. "Your one to talk skull! You should have been covering me while I was taking on this other one!" hex responds. Hex and Skull started arguing while fighting. Food Fight leaps away back to his barrel, holding his bazooka, looking for anymore of those dark crystal monsters. Soon the monsters were all defeated. Exhausted, all the cadets and skylanders looked at each other. "Boy was that truly something else…" wind up said. " tell me out it! Those things were difficult to deal with!" roller brawl added. Cynder looked around and noticed crystals around the village that wasn't there before. "Guys, I think you should look at this." she approached one. "I wonder what type of crystals these are. I mean, I never seen ones that looked like this." hex said. "We should probably grab a sample and bring it back to the academy." jet vac added. He then uses his vac gun to suck a crystal into it. The skylanders and cadets then return to the portals food fight however,looks at his wound, worried. He wasn't being completely honest with Hex. he then looks up and walks into the portal, but not before a small blood drop from him falls to the ground. At first, it was his normal green blood, but as he teleports, it turns a dark purple.
When they get back to the academy. Kaossandra was pacing back and forth in the library nervously. The doors then opened to see that they were all safe. She sighed in relief." the threat is dealt with, headmistress kaossandra. We got rid of all those monsters in the village." jet vac said. He then turns on his vac gun and releases the small crystal onto the table. "This is the thing that was on them." kaossandra walked down the stairs to look at it but made sure not to touch it. "It looks…interesting. I will do more research on this to see if this has any abilities," she stated. " also, food fight's injured!" hex alerted. Kaossandra looks up and sees food fight and how he's covering his right hand. "I'll deal with it myself. After all, it seems like a normal scratch wound," he said. "Okay, if you wish to do that food fight." kaossandra responded." alright, skylanders and cadets, you are all dismissed." everyone then started to leave; however, hex stayed. "Headmistress kaossandra?" she asked. Kaossandra turned around. "Yes, what is it, hex?" "I don't think these are ordinary crystals. I just get a bad feeling around them." hex says. "I think the same. I just said that to keep them from worrying. You mentioned food fight being injured. How did it happen?" she asks. "He was clawed by a crystal monster…he took a hit for me. I wasn't paying attention. I was too busy fighting the one in front of me to notice." hex stated. "Hmm…I see. Keep an eye on him, will you? I don't think these crystals mean good things for anyone." kaossandra said. Hex nodded as she walked away. The door then closes as kaossandra stands tall.
Meanwhile. Food fight in the bathroom cleaning up his scar. When he notices a crystal in it. He pulls it out, pulls out a bandage, and wraps it around his hand. When he walks to the door, he feels a sharp pain coming from his hand." ouch! The heck?!" he says, looking at his bandaged hand, but he sees nothing out of the ordinary. He then walks out of the bathroom and sits on the couch. At first, he was going to cook something, but now he was too tired to do that. So after thinking for a bit, he gets off the couch and walks to the campus to get some fast food for dinner. He walks into a burger restaurant and orders takeout. While waiting, he looks into the window. Due to how tired he was, he began to doze off but woke himself up, but the window's reflection showed a monster that looked similar to him, which caused him to jump. Everyone looked at him with raised eyebrows. Food Fight looks again to see absolutely nothing out of the ordinary.
The feeling shook off as he thought he was just seeing things. The order was then ready. Food Fight walks out of the restaurant with bags in his hands as he walks back to the cadet housing. once he got back he put the bags on the table and says "guys dinner is here!" Cynder,roller brawl and hex then walk in. Cynder opens the bag as she grabs a burger. Cynder then notices how tired food fight looks. "food fight are you okay? You look tired." She asked. Food fight pushes himself up and nods. "Y-yeah… I'm fine. Just a bit hungry." he says. Hex notices food fight's disturbed face but doesn't want to address it in front of the rest of the team. The cadets sit at the table as they all awkwardly eat.
Meanwhile. In a windy field, stealth elf trains using a single tree as she kicks it, putting all her stress and anger towards it. She was lightning quick; every time she teleported, it left a puff of smoke. She was training her hardest, fearing for the future. She breathes deeply as she does one hefty kick and nearly cuts the tree in half from her pure strength alone. She opens her eyes and looks at the beat-up tree full of wear and scratches. Memories of her and spyro playing on this very tree as kids flood her mind to brighter days. Stealth elf sighed as she shook her head, clearing her mind, and just as she kicked the tree again, she heard flapping. She quickly stops and looks around as she is weary. Her ears shift as if she's trying to listen to who it is. She walks around, looking for the source of noise. Caution imprinted on her face. The wind moves her bangs as her eyes dart around, looking for the faintest Change or signs that she has company that may or may not be friendly. Something stalks her from the shadows.
Stealth elf enters a clearing when suddenly dark spyro leaps at her. His beaming red eyes glare into her eyes as she pushes him off. "You have a lot of nerve showing up here!" Stealth Elf said. Dark spyro chuckles as his mouth forms a twisted grin. "So, still acting tough, huh? Putting on that persona, I see~ letting others see only what you want to see. Well, elf…it won't work with me! I already know the real you. The weak side of you who let yours truly into her life. You already screwed up~" dark spyro mocks with a low growl. " just cut to the case, you monster, why are you here?" stealth elf asks. "Well, you see, "elfy," I can not tell you that. After all, who likes spoilers~? Not me, hehe.." Dark Spyro smirks, showing his razor-sharp teeth with an eerie glint in his eyes. Stealth elf then leaps at him and attacks him with her dual blades.
Dark spyro dodges as a mocking frown forms on his face. "Oh really, we have to resort to violence?~ I thought you were nice elf~" "Oh, I am! Just not to people like you!" stealth elf responds, grabbing him by the wing and kicking him into a tree. "Hmm…I rate that kick from 1 to 10….-1!~" dark spyro gets up, shaking his various splinters off as he opens his wings. "Alright, elf that was fun. Now the play date is over!~" he says. Dark spyro flies above and turns into the shadows as stealth tries to follow him with her eyes, but she loses him. However, dark spyro suddenly from behind and headbutts her into a tree, grabs her, flies up into the air, and throws her down onto the solid ground. Stealth grunts in pain. She gets up on her knees, trying to regain her balance but stumbles. As if things couldn't get any worse, dark spyro charges at her and headbutts her again, entirely knocking her out. Dark spyro then grabs her and flies off with her.
A few minutes later, dark spyro arrives at the undead realm, enters malefor's castle, and carries Stealth Elf on his back into the throne room where malefor is sitting. "I got her your royal evilness. The elf." dark spyro said, letting stealth elf onto the ground as she was still out cold. "Excellent dark spyro. She will be a fine addition to my servants." malefor praised. " now. Excuse me, I have to set up the corruption chamber for our new guest." malefor leaves as he enters a room filled with dark magic items, spell books, and, in the center, a spell circle with four pairs of warn-out yet cursed chains. " ah…yes my good o'l chamber. If it wasn't for those retched skylanders, my daughter would have embraced her destiny. They will pay. They took one of my own, so I will take one of theirs!" malefor swears as he searches his dark magic spell book, looking for his life element corruption spell. As he magically flips through the millions of pages, he suddenly stops when he sees it." There it is! It's been centres since I have last done this enchantment. Now dark spyro, place her in the spell circle and chain her." he demands. Kaos watches in awe on the sidelines as glumshanks cowards behind him. "Sir..! He's about to-" "yes, I know glummy, isn't it exciting!?" kaos interrupts glumshanks as he smiles. Dark spyro places stealth elf inside the circle and chains her as she awakes. "Wha…! Wait! Where am I!" she asks, panicked. The villains just simply laugh, their eyes glowing with malicious intent. Stealth elf moves her head around, noticing the markens on the floor next to her start to glow." what…is happening?" she asked. "Oh, not much only… corruption!~" kaos laughs wickedly, making glumshanks sigh. "Oh dear stealth elf….the look in your eyes…it brings me so much amusement!" malefor states wickedly."your about to hurt the family you love, skylander. The family that may not be bonded by blood but by love, and the moment you do I'll sit here in the dark, PULLING THE STRINGS."
stealth elf's espersion flashed to horror as her ears bend down. "N-no! You won't get away with this! The rest of the core team should be here any second now! I know they are!" she panicked, trying to break free of her rusty chains. "Oh, but they aren't "elfy." I made sure of that~" dark spyro spoke, exiting the shadows with a twisted grin. His red eyes beamed harshly. "What did you do to them! Tell me you evil, mean-" "Now no need for foul language elf~ I didn't do anything…TO THEM." dark spyro interrupted stealth elf. "Now, elf, that is enough questions. Let the dark master work his magic." "you can't silence mean! I will find a way out of this!" stealth elf assured. " "yOu CAn'T SileNCe mE!" give it a rest elf! Face the facts! YOUR DOOMED." dark spyro mocks turned serious. "HEY! That was my line!" kaos barks angrily in the background. "Yeah…don't care." dark spyro rolls eyes. "NOW! IT IS TIME!" malefor's eyes glowed as he spoke the spell, with the markens glowing a sinister purple with a black aura. Stealth elf at first grunts, but soon she too glows the same exact colors she floats with only the changes pulling her down as if gravity didn't exist. She screams and cries as the yellow light from her eyes and mouth escapes and enters one of malefor's gems. It was as if her very light was being taken from her. Glumshanks hides behind a table, terrified at the scene, while kaos watches in awe. Stealth elf's colors start to saturate, and kaos amused gasp, turns into hauntingly wicked laughs. Dark spyro just simply watched, not having much of a reaction. He had seen it all happen before first hand. " yes! YES! FEEL THE DARK SIDE SKYFOOL!" kaos spat out with twisted excitement. After a few seconds, the bright light dimmed down, revealing stealth elf with gray skin but keeps her blue hair, but her attire is darkened. She then floats down to the floor, seemingly unconscious. Kaos rushes over to her and sticks his tongue out. He been waiting for this moment all of his existence. Glumshanks simply cringes when he sees this once he exits his hiding spot. However this doenst last long. Suddenly stealth elf's eyes snap open. She grabs kaos by his collar and throws him down and breaks her chains. This was no longer the same stealth elf that we all knew. She was different.
There was odd twistedness and offbeatness to her. She was cold and angry." how dare you mock me, runt! Your lucky that you work for the dark master, or else I would have sliced you to pieces!" she hissed menacingly, grinding her teeth. "Dark stealth elf! I have a mission for you! Bring back my daughter from the academy! Kill anyone who interferes." malefor commands darkly. A grin appears on stealth elf's face. " oh goody, i finally get to use the way my blades are supposed to be used~." her voice was raspy and had a sense of insanity to it. She was bloodthirsty. She then disappears in a dark purple puff of smoke. Meanwhile, back at the b team's house. The place was eerily quiet except for the occasional bickering between hex and skull that , food fight lies on the couch in the living room, half awake. He stares at the ceiling, seemingly disturbed. His eyes were wide. He could feel that something was off this night, much like the night hex's dark side took over that one time. Every time he tried to doze off, his mind would snap him back awake like a built-in alarm." come on, food fight…! Get yourself together..!" he whispered to himself. He then sits up. Bags under his tired yet worried eyes. His mouth parted slightly, revealing his upper teeth lightly. He then walks to the kitchen to have a drink of water and then walks outside. His leaves bend down slightly because it is nighttime, and his leaves aren't collecting sat down next to the tree, seemingly trying to shake off his worry. just as his green and blue eyes drifted to sleep, he saw something dash past him. He looks around but sees nothing. He then begins to doze back to sleep, thinking he was just seeing things, but it happens again. he then gets up and looks around outside the house. Just as everything seems normal, he hears a wicked chuckle. He then turns the corner to see Dark Stealth with a sleeping cynder in her arms. Food fight was confused. " hey! Stealth elf, what are you doing?" he asks innocently.
She then turns him, but instead of her usual attitude, She glares at him, putting cynder down, and draws her blades. "Uh…what are you about to do?" food fight asks, backing away. She then walks to him menacingly. "You should of stayed asleep." she said in the same manner." now you will sleep…FOREVER." Food Fight's eyes widened in fear. His leaves drop and are spiky. He was terrified. "W-what did you just say…?!" "you know what I said, cadet. Today is the last day…ALIVE." dark stealth elf's eyes parcied through Food Fight's soul. Food Fight's hand shakily leans towards his leaves and instinctively grabs his tomato blaster. He could hear his heart beating fast as the colors around him grew cold. "S-s-stay b-back…! P-please stealth elf!" his voice was shaky and dried up as if the very saliva in his throat had dried up from his fear alone." your fear is just…wonderful!" dark stealth elf said, twisted. She then suddenly runs at him. Food fight dodges, and just before he shoots his first batch of tomatoes, stealth elf grabs him and teleports him to another island, and kicks him into a tree. Food fight, grunts in pain, and gets up. Tears started to fall. His breath was shaky. His eyes darted around, trying to see where she shoots wildly, shooting tomatoes in every direction. Suddenly stealth elf comes from above and kicks him. Food fight gets sent flying into the ground, with dirt flying once he lands. "W-why are you doing this?!" food fight asks. "Because it's fun!" dark stealth elf responds, grabs him by his leaves, and pins him against the tree. Food fight scrims trying to break free. He was now full-on crying. Dark stealth elf then holds one of her blades up to his throat, and just as she is about to kill him, she hears a voice in her head, "dark stealth elf! Don't kill him just yet! I have a plan for him, and it requires him to be alive! Just knock him out and aim to have him not remember the fight when he wakes up!" malefor talks to her telepathically,dark stealth elf then puts her daggers up and grabs food fight harder and slams him face first into the tree. The impact was so hard that blood splattered onto the tree, staining it Fight's nostrils were broken and bleeding; he was unconscious from it and had a scar on his head.
" there he's unconscious." dark stealth elf said. She then teleports back to the b team house and, picks up cynder, and teleports to malefor's castle. Meanwhile, inside the b team house, hex noticed that food fight was missing. "Food fight!? Where are you?" she asks out loud. She then walks outside. Skull then notices a green figure in the distance on the ground on a nearby island. " hex! You don't think that is food fight over, do you!?" skull asks. Hex then uses the portal to teleport and sees food fight, bleeding, and lying on the ground. "FOOD FIGHT! NO, PLEASE!" hex panicked, runs over to him and checked his heartbeat. His heart was still beating. Hex sighs, relieved. She picks him up. "Food fight who done this to you, little guy!?" hex asks. Food fight, however, remained silent. He was knocked out cold. She then brings him back inside the house. "ROLLER BRAWL! WIND UP! CHILL! SOMETHING HAPPENED TO FOOD FIGHT!" she alerted. The three of them came running. Once they saw food fight they all gasped. "N-no! Food fight! Please no!"roller brawl asked "is he dead!?"chill asked "what happened to him!" wind up asked. "He's still alive but badly injured! We need to take him to the infirmary right away."hex said. they all rush to the academy, not noticing that one of their own is missing. To be continued.
