"It's time for social media marketing, and a complete revamp of our marketing strategy. We need to go for a complete rebrand. That's the way to move forward. That's the only way we're going to stay relevant in this competitive market," Edward said as he presented his idea.

It's been three weeks since I had joined Cullen Inc., and I was giving my best to come up to speed with everything.

"I loved the idea," Rosalie, his twin sister said.

"Yes! It's time for a complete revamp!" Marcus said, "I'm in!"

"I don't think it's a good idea," I said.

I realized everyone's eyes snapped at me.

I knew I wasn't welcome on the board, but at the same time I had faith in myself and in my vision.

Edward rubbed his finger on his forehead.

It's like he had a problem even with my sheer voice!

Well, he could go to hell! I didn't give a damn about what he thought!

"Why do you think so?" he said.

"I think we are going to lose the identity of our products and what we stand for with your rebranding campaign," I said.

"Excuse me?" he said.

He seemed offended.

"While it's always a good strategy to go for the new things, I think people would want to feel nostalgic about the products they like and the feelings associated with the products. I think we need to strike the right balance," I said, "I don't think we should go for a complete rebrand."

He glared at me.

And then he seemed to be lost in thoughts and he continued to stare at me as if... as if I've said the right thing, and yet he was trying to figure out how to prove me wrong!

"I don't think you know what you're talking about," he said, "I don't think you really understand what our company really stands for. I think you need to take some time ramping up before commenting on anything."

I've worked with some assholes in my career, but I was pretty sure he was the worst!

"I understand that some people might need more time to ramp up. I mean, you might be saying this from your personal experience, but believe me, I'm fast, and I know what I'm doing. I've done my homework." I said, "I think your presentation shows the lack of research on your part. I think you need to rethink your plan."

He glared at me as if he could kill me right here, right now!

I noticed Rosalie putting her hand on her mouth, as if to control her chuckle.

"Does anyone else have any other comments?" He said, as he looked around.

"Ummm... I think Ms. Swan might not be completely wrong," Garrett said.

"Ummm... Plus one," Rosalie said.

"I agree," Marcus said, "I think your plan is great, but we might need to strike the right balance, as Bella is suggesting."

"Well, I don't think you all understand what I'm trying to present here, but... Alright, let me work on my plan in detail and schedule another meeting before the end of this week. Does that sound good?" He said as he roamed around his eyes towards everyone except me.

"Sounds good to me," I said.
