"I'm going to give project Symphony to Bella," I said to Rosalie.
"What do you mean?" she said, "I've been working on it."
"Well, you've already failed twice to crack the deal. We can't afford to waste any more time," I said.
"You're so blunt!" she shook her head, "So you think Bella could crack the deal that I couldn't even with so much effort! She's a newcomer, for God's sake!"
Yeah, I really thought she was the only one who could crack that deal for us!
"Umm... I mean, good for us if she succeeds. But well, it will be fun if she fails," she said.
She stared at me for some time before she said, "No... I know you! You have a feeling that she's not going to fail!"
Damn! I guess my sister knew me more than I'd like!
"So you're giving me a project where you guys have already failed twice to crack the deal!" Bella said to me with disbelief.
Damn, she was good! She was already aware of all the details!
"You want to see me fail, don't you?" she said.
Well, no! I know you're not going to fail!
"I thought you liked challenges and all those bullshit!" I said, "You don't want to work hard, do you? I mean, you have got this position easily because of my uncle, and now... what do you really want to do here? Just sit back and relax?"
Okay, I guess this should be enough to make her mad!
She glared at me.
"What is your problem?" she said angrily.
"What's my problem?" I said, "I'm just saying that you need to work on this project. I mean, come on! It's like you don't want to work on anything!"
"I don't want to work? Really?" she said incredulously, "I've been working my ass off right since the moment I joined the company."
"Well, everyone works hard here, so I don't think you're doing anything different, to be honest!" I said.
"You... You... I..." She struggled to find words for some time.
"You know what?" she said as she shook her head angrily, "I'm going to get this done. That's my promise to you! I'm going to show your loser ass how to crack this deal!"
"Cool! That would be great!" I said.
She glared at me as if she wanted to say so many things, but instead, she just got up from the chair and stormed out of my office.
I heard a knock on my door soon after.
"I forgot my phone," she said as she came back and grabbed her phone from the desk.
"I hope you are not so absent minded while working on the project," I said.
She turned around to say something, but then she made a feast with her hand, turned around and stormed out of my office again.
I shook my head and chuckled.
God! Why was I having so much fun!
