Now onto the story.

Season 2: Episode 8

Paige sighed as she made her way down the school corridor, still lost in thought when suddenly she let out a sharp gasp as she was yanked, nearly off her feet, into one of the classrooms.

"What the hell, Alison?" She snapped.

The blonde was glaring at her but Paige gave as good as she got and was not going to back down.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Alison snarled.

Paige shook her head. "What are you talking about, you ambush me and then say that?"

Alison stepped closer, eyes narrowed. "I'm talking about that incident with Emily, someone emailed her the video and pictures of Maya, that's how she knew."

"And you think it was me, I should be asking you about why you did it!" Paige fired back. "You know I'd never hurt Emily like that, but you, I'm not so sure."

Alison flinched at that and shook her head. "Okay, fine...I can see you're telling the truth. And I didn't do it either, so I don't know why the hell you'd accuse me of that."

"Who else had access to the video and photos?" Paige offered by way of explanation.

"Obviously someone neither of us thought." Alison replied as she realized with a chill what that meant.

Paige went quiet too, someone else had got access to the evidence on Maya. Alison knew right away that it was A, but this disproved her theory that Paige was A and had done this, which left her wondering just who the hell was responsible for this.

"Okay, okay...sorry."

Paige shook her head. "I don't think I'm the one you need to apologise to."

"Yeah." Alison agreed. "I should go and see Emily soon."

With that she hurried out, leaving Paige to stand quietly but then she got a message on her phone which she checked and smiled, Morgan wanted to meet up with her, she pocketed her phone and immediately hurried to meet up with her new girlfriend.

"C'mon Em, I get that you're still upset and on edge, but...really." Hanna was saying.

Emily sighed. "It's not that simple Hanna, Alison's hiding something I can tell. It has something to do with Maya and what she did I know it."

Hanna was wide-eyed. "Oh come on, you can't seriously think Alison would-?"

Emily shook her head quickly. "No, maybe before but not now. But she knows something about this."

"Then go talk to her." Spencer said as she stepped up. "She's waiting in the English class after I told her I'd tell her she wants to talk to you."

"I...fine." Emily said at last. "Alright, I'll go talk to her."

Hanna and Spencer both nodded and watched hopeful as Emily walked to the English class, hoping this would help clear things up and at least calm things down between the two girls, but the issue with Maya would still linger, they knew that of course. Meanwhile, Aria and Ryan were walking together, Ryan seemed uneasy but Aria nodded gently as she spoke.

"Look, it's okay, I promise." She admitted. "I get you're nervous, that's normal. But this is necessary."

Ryan bit his lip. "But are you sure, I mean, is he really going to listen, he's not-"

Aria shook her head. "He will, I've spoken to him and convinced him to listen, I asked him to just stop and actually think about it. How long have you guys known each other after all."

"I...I guess you're right, that's a good point." Ryan admitted with a soft smile.

With that he allowed Aria to lead him to another classroom and once inside, he was tense but hopeful as he laid eyes on Tony who was sitting and waiting for him. It was time for them to talk.

"That's, that's the whole truth." Alison said at last.

Emily was quiet while Alison finished off her statement, head bowed as she sighed sadly. They had talked together for a while, with Alison explaining the full details of her part in discovering the truth about Maya. She had sworn blind to the truth of course which was that she had nothing to do with the pictures and such being exposed, admitted she'd only shared the details with Paige who hadn't done it either.

Emily bit her lip and finally spoke up. "God this...what a mess."

"Em…"

"It's okay, I get it Ali." Emily replied. "I'm not happy that you went behind my back and did all this. It still hurts knowing what Maya did to me too but...it's better this way, better that I know the truth."

Alison nodded but both were taken aback at that moment by the door bursting open and both narrowed their eyes at the sight of Maya.

"You-" She hissed, pointing at Alison. "You did this!"

"Maya stop." Emily remarked darkly. "Stop trying with this nonsense, it doesn't change what you did, I cannot forgive you for that you betrayed me."

"This is all your fault, Maya, you're the one who cheated on Emily." Alison explained calmly. "You're the one who was in the wrong."

Maya stood frozen at that, anger and dismay waging war over her features. Alison and Emily then left the classroom and spotted Hanna and Spencer, at which point all four of them had their phones go off.

At the same time, watching with relief that things seem to be getting better between Ryan and Tony as they talk, Tony finally listening and believing the truth about Ryan and Spencer being drugged which led to that unfortunate incident, Aria's own phone went off. The boys looked over but she just shook her head and checked it. Her eyes widened.

"Well girls, you leave me no choice, it's time to end this. You've not been playing by the rules so now it's time for all your dirty little secrets to be spilled. Come to this address and we'll meet at last, and the reckoning will come for you all, refuse or bring the police and my hostages will pay the ultimate price. A."

Aria's eyes widened, she knew right away the other girls must have received this same message.

"I um, I have to go but please guys, keep talking." She said quickly.

They both nodded, a little surprised, but carried on as Aria left, looking to rejoin the other girls who undoubtedly got the same message, it looked like it was time to finally deal with A.
