Side Notes: If you haven't seen or read about the Suite Life Movie? It's recommended but not required because it's revealed in brief(with this alternate take on that movie). The side stories with Bailey and London still happen.
For reading about it? I recommend the main wiki or the Suite Life wiki/fandom site.
For understanding this story's continuity? There are two more quick things to note.
There is a moderate hint to the Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana TV crossover trilogy of episodes. But, reading it or watching it is not required.
There is a spoiler for the Wizards of Waverly Place 2-parter episode Who Will Be the Family Wizard? But, reading or watching it is not required.
In the Gemini Project's neuroscience lab...
Dr. Olsen has just recently taken Zack and Cody on a quick tour around the lab.
Zack asks, "what's this?" Dr. Olsen answers, "uh, that's a cappuccino machine."
Zack casually figures, "dibs on this."
At the same time... He's holding a cappuccino machine by a metallic desk.
Then... He sees Alex and a magic duplicate of hers smiling wide toward him.
They're walking by in mostly dark purple lab coats.
Alex whispers to her magic duplicate, "Lexie... Are you sure we didn't go too far in our plans to get that magic mango fruit for ourselves?"
With a wide smile... Zack cluelessly assumes, "and dibs on these."
He puts the cappuccino machine back on the desk. He starts walking over to Alex and Lexie.
Lexie whispers to Alex, "absolutely. The dolphins that wanted to stay after Zack crashed that sub in one of the marine lab's glass sea walls stayed. The others left because they wanted to. Don't beat yourself up."
Alex says, "thank you Lexie."
Zack all too lightly voices, "hey Lexie. I'm Zack. Remember me? I crashed that trillion dollar sub. Kind of a legend in the science world."
Alex and Lexie look amused.
Lexie suggests, "hello, Zack. I know it was just a accident, and your brother was being a party wrecker in the other trillion dollar sub trying to stop you from showing off your skills to me."
Zack all too lightly goes, "yeah! Maybe I could show them off with a swim. You and me?"
Alex and Lexie chuckle.
Lexie reasons, "we'll see. I wanted to introduce you to my sister... Lexia."
She gestures over to Alex.
Zack says, "well, hello... Lexia."
On the last part? Zack looks wide eyed in shock.
Zack realizes, "wait a minute! Alex Russo? You... You were on deck that time with that brilliant framing me act. You're here now."
Alex and Lexie are quick to say, "shh!"
At the same time... Each of them put a finger over their own lips.
Alex brings up, "Zack... I know you really like me. But, if you do... You'll keep your voice down and not tell anyone else I'm here to steal some of the magic mangoes for myself."
Zack whispers, "okay, okay! So that's why you and your clone encouraged me to steal one of those subs to show off for you. I'm not sure exactly why. But, knowing you..."
With some mixed feelings... Lexie reveals, "that plan was Dr. Olsen's idea. He thought it was the best way to keep the Gemini Project going. Please let us assure you that is the only reason we did it. We're good friends with Dr. Olsen, and we want to at least keep it that way until we can steal some of his magic fruit."
With mixed feelings... Alex explains further, "we're not sure if he's as noble as he says he is. But... We never meant to hurt you or Cody. Really."
She puts a comforting hand on Zack's.
Zack assures, "it's okay. I forgive you and you. Just tell me one thing. How did you clone yourself, and where can I get one of those machines?"
Alex and Lexie laugh loudly on the last part. This draws the attention of Dr. Olsen.
With a smile... Dr. Olsen concludes, "ohh! There you are, Zack. Good. Now I can explain to both of you what the Gemini Project is about."
Zack whispers to Alex and Lexie, "nicely deflected. But, I'd still love some time with you."
Lexie and Alex whisper, "we know."
Zack then nods to Dr. Olsen.
Zack walks over to Dr. Olsen and Cody. Cody looks impatient.
Zack waves goodbye to Lexie and Alex. They wave goodbye to him.
Zack questions Dr. Olsen, "so, what are you working on?"
Dr. Olsen concludes, "my colleague, Dr. Spaulding, is developing a substance that will allow dolphins to communicate with humans telepathically. It's noble. Sure, it's noble. But, my goal is to use a magic fruit with highly similar results to perfect communication between humans. I found it growing in a underwater cave."
Zack just adds, "cool." Cody wonders, "for what result?"
Dr. Olsen explains, "imagine. If we could connect with each other's minds, we'd be able to feel more what others feel. And where there's more empathy between people? There's less conflict."
Cody warily checks, "so, you chose Zack and me because we have conflict?
Zack kind of lightly comments, "well, even you may not know the whole story this time."
Cody mutters, "oh yeah? You've used that excuse several times in the past."
Zack mimics him on the last part. Cody warningly glares at him.
Dr. Olsen reasons, "you both have conflict. Exactly! Now, initially my research was on twins because of your similar DNA. But... If I can resolve irresolvable conflicts between twins like yourselves? I can expand that to all mankind, and create a world free of fighting and anger."
Zack sarcastically remarks, "well, that'll make hockey fun."
Cody annoyedly rolls his eyes. Dr. Olsen is still smiling.
A few hours later, in the Gemini Project's camp's cafeteria...
Zack and Cody are getting lunch on lunch trays.
Zack tries to assure, "come on Cody! I told you everything I found out just to prove I didn't mean to hurt your future chances. Doesn't that help?"
Cody heavily sighs.
He briefly looks back at Zack.
With a glare... Cody pinpoints, "a scheme from Alex Russo, from Dr. Olsen, or not? It didn't take much for you to crash that sub and ruin my internship at that marine biology lab! You had no right to steal that sub to show off to Alex."
With mixed feelings... Zack concludes, "so you're still not forgiving me?"
Cody darkly remarks, "at least you're smart enough to answer that question yourself."
Zack mutters, "ouch."
He's a little teary eyed. But, he rubs his eyes to act like it's nothing.
He and Cody are sitting at the same table with Alex and Lexie. Zack and Cody reluctantly sit together with no other seats available at the table.
Zack smiles wide toward Alex and Lexie. Alex and Lexie smile wide back.
And... Cody looks cautiously toward the three of them.
The next day, on the campus of the Gemini Project...
Zack got into a fight with Cody after some physical exercises of endurance for both of them.
Zack was about to sneak away on a rowboat. The whole Gemini Project camp is on a island.
But... Lexie found Zack before he could row away.
Lexie asked if they could take a walk. Zack was quick to agree.
What Zack didn't notice was Cody and Alex talking tensely to each other about something.
Zack and Lexie are walking on a dock. They're holding hands as they do.
Lexie implies, "it's hard to be a twin. Isn't it?"
Zack answers, "no. It's hard to be Cody's twin."
They're standing on the edge of the dock. They turn to face each other.
With mixed feelings... Zack brings up, "that day I accidentally crashed that sub... Hard sniffle. Something else happened to me. That day was harder on me than you or Alex might think. Faint chuckle. Being your clone, twin, or whatever you want to call it looks like a lot more fun."
On the last part? They both chuckle some.
Zack is a little teary eyed. Lexie bittersweetly smiles.
Lexie considers, "let's focus on you first. What else happened to you?"
Zack takes a deep breath.
After a bit... He explains, "Maya broke up with me that same day. Hard sniffle. She was my girlfriend for several months. When she... When she found out that I was trying to show off in that sub for a lookalike of Alex? When she found out that I ruined Cody's chances at that internship? That was the last straw for her. Hard sniffle. She said that I never really let go of my love for her if I'm willing to throw my future away just like that. Faint chuckle. And you know what? Maya was right. Maybe the real reason I tried so hard to get her to like me is because some part of her reminded me of you and you. Alex Russo."
Lexie looks wide eyed in shock. She is a little teary eyed.
Lexie apologizes, "ohh. I'm so sorry Zack. If we only knew sooner..."
They hug each other close.
Zack adds, "thank you Lexie. I needed that." Lexie adds, "you're welcome."
They pull away. But, they're bittersweetly smiling to each other.
The teariness in their eyes is starting to dry up.
Lexie wonders, "so... Are you going to stay, or are you going to sink into the sea further?"
With a warning glare... Zack states, "what the hell is that supposed to mean? You and Alex encouraged me to show off for you, and now you're just trying to make me hate you?!"
He starts to storm off.
Lexie nervously calls out, "Zack. Wait! Y... You deserve to know the whole truth. You can still walk away if you don't believe me."
Zack kind of slowly turns back to her.
Zack coldly figures, "fine. You got one chance. But, that's it."
Lexie nods. She takes a deep breath.
After a bit... Lexie highlights, "Alex...doesn't want to get hurt again. The reason we both have come here is more complicated than you think. Heavy sigh. Her boyfriend Mason left her when she said something very sarcastic. The insult came out of her mouth before she could stop it. And... When she heard of the recent discoveries of Dr. Olsen and Dr. Spaulding? Alex decided to magically separate her sarcastic and sneaky side from herself so she could pass off as a set of twins to Dr. Olsen. Heavy sigh. So that we could steal some magic fruit for the two of us so that we never have to worry about losing a boyfriend again. At least she found you again without trying, Zack. For me finding someone? Heavy sigh. I'm a harder case to crack."
She's looking down nervously.
Zack puts a comforting hand on her shoulder.
Zack assures, "Lexie... You'll find someone: Whether you merge back with Alex or not."
Lexie looks up. She turns to face him.
Lexie nervously asks, "you... You really think so, Zack?"
With a smile... Zack kind of sarcastically remarks, "well, if even my lame twin Cody can find a girl like Bailey... There's hope for you too."
Lexie grins at that.
Lexie solemnly concludes, "Cody in a different way needs you too. Alex and me need you here. We all need you here. Can't you see that now? The merge... Dr. Olsen's next phase for every set of twins in the Gemini Project... It will help fix everything left to be fixed. Alex and me used to fight on our first days here: Wands and all. But, now I'm friends with her. The merge will help. Zack? Please trust me and Alex on this."
She puts a comforting hand on Zack's.
Zack bittersweetly smiles. He puts a comforting hand on top of Lexie's.
That night, in the Gemini Project's neuroscience lab...
Dr. Olsen is standing there. He is darkly grinning.
Zack and Cody wake up on metal tables with metal scraps over their wrists and ankles.
Zack asks, "Cody, why are we strapped down to the Mind Transference Facilitator?"
Cody reveals, "because Lexie ratted us out to a army of mind controlled twins that are working for Dr. Olsen's plan for world domination and you thought you could trust Lexie. Faint chuckle. Even Alex warned me she was hiding something."
Zack somewhat nervously wonders, "and you didn't bring this up earlier because...?"
Cody nervously reasons, "okay, fine! I wasn't sure I could trust Alex either. Happy?"
Dr. Olsen concludes, "enough! This is not just a merge. This is not just a telepathic link. Once I push this button? The electrons in your brains are gonna smash together and merge into one brain. A mind controlled brain to add to my collection for taking over the multiverse."
Cody realizes, "wait. Did you really just say multiverse?" Dr. Olsen adds, "yes."
Zack sarcastically adds, "and most people say I'm the dumb one."
Cody gives him a warning glare. Zack just smirks some.
Lexie explains, "with help from my magic? Dr. Olsen and me built a multiverse gateway to expand his masterplan. Why settle for a crush when I can just rule everything alongside him?"
She is twistedly grinning wide. She is standing next to Dr. Olsen.
Twenty sets of mind controlled twins are standing guard around the lab. There's a ruby gateway with watery blue ripples in the center of the lab.
Cody tensely asks Lexie, "do you hear yourself?!"
Zack nervously figures, "you know, this all sounds like it's really going to hurt."
Lexie suggests, "not if you join me. We could rule everything together. Last chance, Zack. Is it going to be me or your pathetic brother?"
She offers a hand to Zack. Her other hand is on her wand.
Zack highlights, "well, that's no choice at all. We may not always get along. But, Cody is still my brother. And Lexie... You're just a mean queen bee who cares about no one but yourself."
Cody and Zack smile some.
Dr. Olsen points out to Lexie, "see? I told you he wasn't going to turn on his brother."
Lexie grumpily says, "fine! You were right. Just get them mind controlled already."
At the same time... Dr. Donald Spaulding and Alex call out, "let them go!"
They, Bailey, London, and Woody are there. It turns out all the mind controlled twins standing guard were secretly put to sleep by Alex's magic.
Lexie concludes, "seriously?! How long were you standing there? Frustrated sigh. You know what? Don't answer that. Let's just hurry this up. Dr. Olsen is really Dr. Spaulding's evil twin Ronald in disguise who got thrown out of science clubs for his crazy theories. Ronald has always been jealous of his brother for being more liked and getting all the awards. Ronald and me want to take over the multiverse to bring peace...with mind control and my queen bee rule."
At the same time... Dr. Donald Spaulding and Dr. Ronald Spaulding complain, "was that really necessary? I could have explained all of...! !"
They both annoyedly glare at each other. Most everyone else can't help but chuckle a little.
Ronald Spaulding takes off a rubber mask. His real face looks very similar to his brother's face.
Alex lightly recalls, "oh yeah. And Cody... After you and Zack kind of lost your very thoughtful letter to Bailey at sea explaining you were only planning to be gone for half of spring break? I used magic to give her the letter and she forgives you now. You're welcome."
Bailey and Cody smile wide to each other. Bailey waves to Cody.
With a twisted grin... Lexie kind of sarcastically mutters, "yeah, yeah. You can all be happy just long enough to be mind controlled. But... I got my magic duplicate to take care of first."
Alex, Cody, Bailey, and Zack scoff.
A computer voice is counting down, "10 seconds for mind control of twins. 9... 8..."
Zack thinks telepathically to Cody, "Cody... Get ready to run. I'm going to save us."
With a tense glare... Alex mutters to Lexie, "I'm the real Alex and the family wizard of my family. You're my ugly side, and it's time for you to go down."
Woody awkwardly says, "I...am going over here." London all too lightly goes, "ooh! A fight."
London, Woody, and Dr. Donald Spaulding step back to watch the fight.
Alex and Lexie try to cast spells at each other. A bright white magic ball between them explodes.
And... The explosion sends Alex and Lexie flying backwards.
They crash hard on the floor. Their wands fly out of their hands.
The explosion also hits the multiverse gate. Some cracks form in the multiverse gate.
And... A cosmic rift is forming in the mutliverse gate.
Across cavern styled purple to red nebula clouds... Ten certain alternate universes for Alex and Zack are coming face to face with each other.
Five mind controlled Alexs, five mind controlled Zacks, and a mind controlled wizard queen Theresa declare, "take over the multiverse for Dr. Ronald Spaulding. Capture all resistance."
A not mind controlled Zack kind of lightly insists, "oh no. We're not getting captured by mind controlled versions of us. We're just getting this cosmic party started! Let's take them down!"
With battle cries across four S.S. Tiptons, Cab 804, and the living ship Susie... Five Zacks, five Alexs, a android Alex, two Harpers, and more run charge for five S.S. Tiptons in the rift.
All the while... A certain Zack, a certain Cody, and a certain Alex that were recently in Toyko are singing Selena G's Smash Mode remix of her song Slow Down.
Back in the Gemini Project's neuroscience lab...
Zack spits at the control console for the Mind Transference Facilitator.
And... The whole machine short circuits in a dome of blue lightning.
Zack and Cody are released from the metal tables. They jump dive for cover from blue lightning.
Cody reflects, "wow Zack. Your gross habits actually saved us. For once... I'm proud of you for using them."
They're no longer telepathically linked. They're also smiling to each other.
Alex calls out, "Bailey! Get the wand from my darker side."
With a wide smile... Bailey lightly remarks, "well, that's really trippy therapy. Sure. Why not?"
Alex smiles wide back.
Lexie is just picking up her wand...when Bailey gets a lasso around it.
Bailey pulls Lexie's wand away from her.
Alex is about to spell cast something.
But... Lexie angrily tackles Alex.
Around then, in the cosmic rift...
Five Alexs and five Zacks are exchanging punches and magical blasts with their mind controlled counterparts. Some are literally hurling ice cream balls at each other.
A robo-Alex and a android Alex are slashing bladed arms at each other.
A Justin, a Bailey, a Miley, and a Lilly are riding on light red magic skateboards and hurling magically glowing lassos to take down their mind controlled counterparts.
The magic-science elemental androids named Sue, Reeds, and Leena are using their hydrokinetic powers to defend S.S. Tiptons from flying diamonds and dark red magic-science bubble styled robots with lightning blasters.
Wizard queen Theresa looks wide eyed in shock by the music.
She groans hard. She's clutching her head. She says something in Spanish.
And... She kind of lightly concludes, "oh thank god mind control doesn't last long with us. Let's get all our girls and boys back home!"
Wizard queen Theresa casts a surprise spell to remove mind control from the rest of her family.
All the not mind controlled Russo families and their allies cheer.
All the not mind controlled wizards spell cast magic bubble shields around themselves and their allies. Two Zacks with wizard powers and a Bailey with wizard powers are among them.
And... They cast a wave of surprise spells to remove mind control from everyone else.
Across ten alternate universes... Everyone cheers and claps in great relief.
The dome of blue lightning destroys the multiverse gate.
And... In a flash of light... Everyone in the rift goes back to their home universes.
Back in the Gemini Project's neuroscience lab...
Dr. Ronald Spaulding angrily cries out, "no! !"
He falls unconscious before the dome of blue lightning.
Alex and Lexie are exchanging punches on the floor.
Bailey is about to say something. Cody says something first.
Cody kind of lightly asks, "hey Alex! You need some help?"
Lexie is quick to say, "sure!" Alex sarcastically goes, "oh please. Like I need help fighting me."
They both are about to go back to exchanging punches with each other.
And... Zack knocks out Lexie from behind.
Zack, Cody, and Bailey smile some in a knowing way. Alex gets up.
With a smile... Alex kind of cluelessly says, "well, that's a fight I won quicker than I thought."
Zack, Cody, and Bailey try hard not to laugh. London is laughing hard.
Dr. Donald Spaulding considers to himself, "maybe I should stop being super focused on my work and learn to have fun. And... Chuckle. Maybe someday me and my twin can get along."
London figures, "well, that was fun. Want to go for more shopping, Bailey?"
Bailey says, "sorry. But, no. I'm shopped out for today." London says, "suit yourself."
Woody offers, "how about a sandwich?"
Bailey reasons, "well, as long as it's not too gross... Sure. I'll have most anything."
Alex figures, "sounds great Bailey. I'll likely have whatever you're having."
Woody lightly goes, "great! Let's go eat."
He, Bailey, and Alex start to head for the cafeteria. London just annoyedly rolls her eyes.
At the same time... Zack and Cody lightly call out, "hey! Wait for us."
Alex and Bailey chuckle at that. All four of them are smiling wide.
Bailey brings up, "well, you guys seem to be getting along well."
Cody realizes, "you know? We all make a pretty good team." Zack adds, "yep. We sure do."
A half hour later, at Zack's and Cody's cabin...
Zack asked Alex to stop by the cabin. He had something he wanted to tell her.
Zack solemnly admits, "Alex? Lexie told me why your wanted magical fruit, and it hasn't changed that I really like you."
Alex smiles wide. She blushes.
Alex reflects, "wow. Maybe I didn't need magic fruit. Maybe I should have just asked you out."
Zack suggests, "well, no better time than now."
Before he can say something else... Alex pulls him in for a kiss.
They pull away some. But, they're still smiling.
Alex kind of sarcastically says, "okay. Now it's official. We're stuck together Zack."
Zack lightly insists, "and I'm absolutely okay with that Alex."
Ronald Spaulding was punished with community service to build two submarines and rebuild a sea wall. Lexie was sent by the Wizard Council to a magical cell.
And... Zack and Cody are both seen driving fancy red cars on a road into the sunset.
Alex is sitting beside Zack. Bailey is sitting beside Cody.
And... Each of the cars has a S.S. Tipton styled banner on the back saying "just graduated".
