Chapter 3 Eraserhead/ Shouta Aizawa

One year later Eri had taken to them and their lifestyle quickly and Shinso was all too happy to teach her sign. Everything was going well they had just finished that particular day celebrating Ai's b-day and she was just sitting at the edge of the roof getting some fresh air while the others were fast asleep. She couldn't believe she was twelve years old and living the way she was but she also couldn't see her life without them in it. Then she heard a light thud from the far side of the roof, and when she turned her quirk told her it was Eraserhead dressed all in black with his capture scarf draped on his shoulders and goggles on. He slowly made his way to her with an unease in his poster.

Ai: so hero what brings you here of all nights? I've never seen you around here.

Aizawa: trying a new patrol route for a college. Why are you up her kid?

Ai: I live here.

Aizawa raised his brow at the answer.

Aizawa: well it's late maybe you should head on to bed.

Ai's quirk told her he wouldn't hurt her or force her to do anything so to see his reaction she got up stretched then turned to him.

Ai: your right, good night Eraserhead.

She then walked over to the side of the door to the stairs as Aizawa's eyes followed her. That's when she pulled back the tarp that was over their tent and she unzipped it crawled in then gave Aizawa one more wave of goodbye. His surprised stare at her crawling in the tent made Ai happy to see an adult care so much about her.

That next day Aizawa took it upon himself to learn more about the girl he found living on a roof since he had so much free time after he expelled this year's class. So he stayed out of sight and watched the tent on the other roof becoming more surprised when he got a more clear look at the girl who had to be no more than eleven or twelve from the look of her. Then his surprise grew as seven more kids came crawling out of the tent and not a single adult to be seen. He spent that whole day staying out of sight and just watching the kids cook and eat their breakfast and then they went into the tent in groups of two to get dressed, they then crawled down the fire escape and emerged from the ally below with a wagon that the youngest looking child and a boy with purple hair were sitting in. he followed and watched as they made their way to a beach with lots of garbage on it. He watched as they cleaned and as the wagon was filled with scrap metal. He watched as they made their way to the scrap yard and then to a cafe where they had their lunch and Aizawa had a jelly pouch. He watched as they made their way to the library where the eldest helped the youngest on a computer and the others either found a book, fell asleep

Or pulled out some contraptions to tencer with. He then followed them back to the roof and watched them eat dinner, all without knowing Ai's quirk and letting her know he was there the whole time. That night Aizawa caught the eldest of the kids in the same spot as before. He made sure she knew he was there and made his way to sight with her.

Ai: so did you have fun spying on us all day or was there something you needed?

Aizawa flinched at her confession of her knowing he was there the whole day.

Aizawa: how did you know?

Ai: my quirk never sites off and it told me you were near.

Aizawa: what's your quirk?

Ai: my quirk is called sight it allows me to hear and see other's memories and see and hear from other's eyes and ears it also lets me change what others can see and hear. I've been told it's the quirk of a violin.

She didn't look at him waiting for him to say something.

Aizawa: no quirks are vilones and yours sounds really versatile.

Ai: ya it is. And now you want to know why eight kids are sleeping on a roof and cleaning a beach right?

Aizawa: I won't push you but ya.

She sighed ought a long breath then faced Eraserhead.

Ai: well we don't have anywhere to go no parents to care for us and we don't trust foster care to keep us together or safe not after our first children's home.

Aizawa: I understand I've been there. How old are all of you?

Ai: I'm the eldest I turned twelve the day before and the rest except for the little girl are eleven the little girl is six.

Aizawa: why are you telling me all this?

Ai: my quirk is making it easier to trust you but I feel the need to let you know right now if you offer to use that foster license you would be agreeing to take in eight kids with trust issues and a high chance of running away if you try to give us to the foster care. Oh and don't forget to ask that husband of yours by the way three of the kids have quirks that have the ability to kill you and or destroy your house. Just food for thought.

Aizawa: of course, you would hear that with your quirk. Well, the offer stands, and don't forget what my quirk is.

Ai: if your husband says yes and you have the room and resources plus you don't let the chioled services get us I'll ask the others and see how they feel on the subject.

Aizawa: deal.

He then pulled out his phone startling Ai, her not thinking he would ask his husband this late. Then one phone call later Aizawa's husband agreed.

Ai: I thought you would have waited till morning to make that call.

Aizawa: I want you kids safe and off the street as soon as possible.

Ai: well you will have to wait till tomorrow they need their sleep.

Aizawa: so do you. Why don't you head in for bed and I'll be here in the morning.

Ai: OK you do you.

She then got up and crawled into the tent. Aizawa was a little worried about how his life would change with eight kids but he genuinely felt a connection with them even if he had only spoken to one of them.
