It's been a while since Tod and Vixey met for a first time. Now they are happy family and this family set to grow again. After raising first two pups in previous season, a year later they both will have next litter. Anyway, they don't have a reason to worry because their firstborn daughter - Tala - stayed home. This still young female more than obviously will help with her new young brothers and sisters. There's no info where her brother Tori disappeared though...

One day, somewhere in the morning, Tod decided to go across the forest looking for a food. He and his wife needed more feeding than usual... Especially wife!

The territory was so big so there shouldn't be any problem with finding breakfast for family. Unfortunately it wasn't luckiest day of fox's life and nothing moved around.

"This forest is so empty!" - complained and picked his head up to find any animal to hunt.

He more than certainly was so angry. Nothing could be called worse than lack of life within the next ten meters. Only sensible plan to that moment sounded "stay and look in every single directions". After making another moves ahead, our tired protagonist still haven't seen anything which was able to eat. Of course he saw a lot of trees, plants, leafs or cones around yet foxes have other menu than that, for sure. Sad but true!

Finally there was a breakthrough in this case when he already nocited in distance of several metres some mouse who appeared on the ground after exit his den. Every foxes understand animals who living in dens. When rodent moved his head by front paws, surely didn't expect what will happen in next few seconds. Maybe because no one should? This random event was so weird.

"You're my hope for better tomorrow." - we heard this brave dedication from Tod. Clearly sure that nothing unexpected will interrupt him.

After he turned his gaze to the mouse, the rodent already started worrying about whole not long mousey life. Suddenly remembered every girlfriends and youngs across two years thinking about it as a revenge from God because of being unfaithful. Frightened stretched out his front paws and prayed. Meanwhile fox moved towards prey to show it's fate. Got as close as five meters, two meters, one meter... And already heard mysterious voice.

"Daddy! Where are you?" - unknown female called.

It made protagonist shocked as much that he jumped over the mouse and a few meters of flying later noticed a waterfall. He tried to catch one of rocks and not fall, but none of them were anything different than water. Unlucky predator had a bath in the river and became a wet hen.

Ten minutes later Tod with a fish in his mouth was resting after forced event full of excitement. He was breathing heavily. Suddenly from surrounding trees other fox emerged and came to him. Male didn't have any doubt about her identity cause he knew her since previous year when she was born. This vixen was his daughter named Tala.

"So good I found you. So bad you're all wet." - she told sounding like someone surprised.

"Tala? I'm busy right now!" - Tod said and wringed out his tail. Female smiled seeing this.

"Yes, I'm understand. Sorry for interrupting your job." - Tala added sarcastically and continued her statement.

"I know that hunting is more important than being with mom when she giving birth"

Angry father tried to answer same way to daughter, but analyzed whole context and a few seconds later started to feeling sad. How he might forget about Vixey and their new litter? This mouse who escaped and still living his life wasn't worth of that attention. By the way, the little mammal already could tell his family about fox who gave him a second life literally for free!

Five minutes later, Tod and Tala ran ahead the forest to come home as soon as possible. Former still thinking about his wife being alone in that important for both moment and couldn't forgive himself. He didn't talk about it thought. Probably because of having river fish in his mouth, but who knows? There are other versions of event, of course!

After they covered another metres on the distance, their den already became visible. A few meters later both foxes were worried because of not hearing anything under the ground. Tod opened his mouth and held fish falled next to him.

"Maybe she's dead?" - male thought out loud because of being scarried.

In this moment both foxes heard voices of Vixey and her newborns. His attitude turned upside down.

"Probably I will be dead!" - thought out loud again. From the same reason as previously.

Foxes came close to the den's hole and started to look at it.

"Vixey, can you hear me?" - husband asked with doubt in his voice.

"Tod, it's you?" - wife replied making him more happy.

In this moment both family members joined female by entering to their home. Several corridors later whole family was in complete.

"I'm very sorry for not being with you, but I hunted something." - Tod explained whole situation.

"It's your breakfast!" - Tala added and threw a fish next to her mother who wasn't proud because of it.

"Tala! Please be careful!" - Vixey screamed calmly enough before hearing "sorry" from her daughter.

Next step from this adult female was introducing her cubs. These "troublemakers" already got their own names and she showed them one after the other. From Diana across Lilly, Russell and finishing with Xaver.

"They are so precious, aren't they?" - Tala told to her father.

"I think we will be a big loving family like it was with you and Tori." - daddy replied quickly to daughter's statement.

"Hopefully, Tod! Hopefully!" - Vixey cut off the discussion and clearly suggested that she need more time to raise her young cubs. A few seconds later also ate the fish which was lying down next to her.

Adult family members came out of the hole to not interrupt vixen who needed so much calm in next few days. And this was only the beginning...
