Chapter 14: Offers and Threats

Inko was taking her usual walk around the city. As she walked she saw a familiar man. It was Hisashi.

"Inko," he said.

"Hisashi," she said back.

"We need to have a talk." Hisashi told him,

"Is there something I can help with?"

"Yes actually. You and Toshinori can give me back custody of Izuku."

Inko started to chuckle much to Hisashi's confusion.

"And why would I ever do that?" Inko asked.

"Because he's my biological son and I want him to come back to me!" Hisashi told her, "In case you haven't noticed, I've been going through a lot of rough things in my life, one of which is my wife leaving me. I wanna try and rebuild the family I lost, starting with rebuilding my relationship with Izuku. The only way I can do that is if he stays with me Now that he has a quirk, things might be better for all of us."

"This is why we broke up in the first place, Hisashi," Inko stated, "You made no room for anything but your career. You don't think of anyone but yourself, and you don't realize how bad you hurt your son when you abandoned him, leaving him to fend for himself! Why your wife hasn't left you yet is a mystery to me."

"Inko, I'm asking you one last time-"

"I'm not giving you custody of Izuku," she said, "Because he's not your son. He's my son, Toshi's son, and Izumi's brother. For the first time ever since we adopted him, he's been able to smile and enjoy life. You just threw him away like trash and you come crawling back and expect us to just hand him back over to you? Well tough shit. We're not giving him to you."

Hisashi frowned.

"Fine. Then I'll be seeing you in court," Hisashi told her, "I'll be suing you for everything you have unless you give me custody."

"I know you can, but you won't," Inko told him.

"Just what makes you-"

"I have proof and evidence of what you did to Izuku, and how you paid those people to treat him like shit to make him almost give up his dream," Inko said, "If you even think of bringing this to court, I'll show the evidence and destroy your career."

Toshinori heard the commotion and walked to the location they were both in.

"Is there a problem?" he asked.

"No... no. I'll just be going." Hisashi said. He then got out his phone and dialed a number. "Cancel the court date. Cancel the court date!"

"What was up with him?" Toshinori asked.

"Oh, let's just say, he was about to screw up." Inko said.

Meanwhile, Izuku and Ochako were walking to the dorms with Izuku carrying Eri in his arms.

"Eri there's gonna be a lot of people, but don't worry, they're all kind and friendly. If you get scred just tug on my shoulder."

"Ok," Eri said.

"Ni-chan!" said a voice.

They all turned to see Izumi running by them.

"Where were you?" she asked, "I got worried."

"Uhh Izumi I'm the older brother, so its kinda my job to worry," Izuku said, "But I'm fine. Just got a little... sidetracked."

Izumi looked at the little snow haired girl in his arms.

"Aren't you just the cutest little thing?"

Eri looked at Izumi curiously.

"You have green hair like Daddy."

"Of course I... wait... Daddy?"

"Its a long story," Izuku said.

He explained how he met Eri and became her guardian

"Wow…. that's a hell of a lot to take in," Izumi said.

So basically we're her adoptive parents," Ochako said as she pecked the horn on Eri's forehead earning a giggle

"Huh... couldn't wait till AFTER you graduated, aye Izuku?" Izumi asked in a teasing manner.

Izumi then turned her attention to Eri and smiled at her.

"Hi there Eri, I'm your auntie Izumi."

"What's an auntie?" Eri asked.

"Well Eri, an aunt or uncle is your parents brother or sister. Since Izumi is my adoptive sister that makes her your aunt."

"Ohhhh! Auntie Izumi!" Eri said, pointing at Izuku's brother.

"That's right sweetie!" Izumi said, "you're so adorable!"

Izumi then picked her up and rubbed her cheek onto the little girl earning a few giggles from her.

"Happy that you're an auntie now, Izumi?" Izuku asked.

"Yes!" Izumi said.

"Hey you kids," Inko said walking by, "what's all the hoopla?"

Inko noticed Izumi hugging a little girl.

"Who's the little one?" she asked.

Izuku turned to Inko.

"Mom, this is Eri," Izuku said, "Ochako and I adopted her after we saved her."

"Wait... this means... I'm her grandmother?"

"Pretty much," Ochako said with a smile.

Eri then hugged the slender woman. Inko was surprised but found herself hugging back. Inko then got the face that Izuku knew all too well.

"Oh no. Shields up!" Izuku said, getting an umbrella out.

Inko then let the dam broke and shot a geyser out of her eyes.

"How is she able to cry this much and not get dehydrated?" Ochako asked.

"Beats me," Izuku said, "So who were you talking to earlier mom?"

"Your scumbag of a father," Inko said, "He basically commanded that I give him custody of you."

"You're kidding."

"Nope, but of course I refused. Moving on, are you all ready for the sports festival?"

"You bet," Izumi said, "You won't believe this, but I've been training my quirk in a new way. Check it out!"

She jumped in the air and levitated for a bit.

"I can fly now!" she said.

"Impressive," Inko said, "Normally I need to be on something and make it levitate in order to get to places fast!

"Well I worked in something too," Izuku said.

He formed the rings into some kind of whip then grabbed a dummy.

"GET OVER HERE!"

He then pulled the dummy over and channeled 10% into his right arm.

"SMASH!"

Izuku ended up smashing the dummy through a wall.

"Heh… oops," Izuku sheepishly said.

"Well you guys will be pretty much ready for the Sports Festival if you study up," Inko said, "Dozens of pros will sign you up if you try."

"I'm sure," Izumi said, "Next thing you know we'll be having a multiversal bugaloo adventure with a big boobed sorceress."

(Meanwhile in another universe)

"Achoo!" sneezed, said sorceress.

"What's wrong?" A kitty bird asked.

"I feel like someone was talking about me."
