Chapter 34-fathers

In Jefferson`s house, Jefferson and Regina stood in the living room. "What was your plan with the girl?"

"Oh, come on I could help you". "You help. She`s a child, she`s like my daughter so no I am not going to help you."

The next day, Emma sat on her bed with the storybook open in front of her. Emma is reading about Jefferson and his daughter Grace. It may be a picture but she could see the love Jefferson has for his daughter.

In one of her old group homes, Emma remembered one of the younger girl who got a adopted, the way the parent looked at the girl and she thought no one is going to look at her that way.

Half hour later, Emma stood outside Paige`s house and then turned to Jefferson`s house.

Emma knocked on the door but there was no answer. So Emma walked around the house.

Across town at the docks, Jefferson met David. "Regina came to me after you left and wanted me to help her. I was going to say yes but I remembered Emma, she reminded me of Grace and I knew I couldn`t help Regina. What`s the plan?"

"We have to get Emma to break the curse, I don`t know how."

What David and Jefferson didn`t know was that someone was close by and heard everything.

With no answer at Jefferson`s house, Emma went across the road and knock on the door.

A woman answered the door. "Yes, can I help you?" "Yes, I was wondering if you knew the person who lived across the road?"

"I don`t know him, he`s a shut in. Someone told me he lost his family years ago and stays in his house."

Emma decided to get a hot chocolate with cinnamon. She sat in a booth at Granny`s with her hot coco and looking out the window.

"You look like you`re million miles away. Ruby said. Emma looked up at Ruby."If you knew something bad happened and you have the power to stop it . What if doing the good thing will charge everything."

"Emma, you have to decide to do the right thing. All I`m going to say is make the right decide."

Emma went for a walk on the beach to clear her mind.
