Hello! Pillow101, here again! For the millionth time! Anyways, my story Helltaker: Halo feel like and pretty much was a one hit wonder, thank you so much for that! So I decided to make sequel to it!
This MC is not the same as the one from HALO, so don't get them mixed up. It's a brand new MC! Updates will come as soon as I can because I had school to deal with, I hope you understand! Like in Helltaker: HALO, I have to give the male reader an actual name, so his name is Noah in the story!
Either way, enjoy the short prologue before the real chapter comes out!
"And with that I am sad to announce that Mr. Jackson has passed away due to illness he had been keeping a secret for long while!" A man dressed in suit proclaimed to Noah.
Noah was shocked to hear this. He had been away for while as he was out of state for college and had return due to the a urgent message coming from his family. He didn't expect his father to pass away and his mother was no where to be found.
It turns out his mother had stolen the inheritance money and simply vanished without a trace. Noah was furious over this, but he had already known that his mother was no good person that couldn't be trusted over anything.
"Mr. Noah, I'm afraid that there is nothing left for you except one thing." The man said, apologizing.
The man then gave Noah a black box with a gold seal on top of it. Noah took the box and opened it, revealing a silver cross necklace and a folded letter. Noah opened it and read the following words...
"Just in case."
"Huh, a silver cross? I wasn't excepting this, but I'm not complaining." Noah said as he put the necklace on.
"Rest in peace, dad."
Noah sighed, closing his eyes as thousands of thoughts flowed through his mind. He sat down on a chair and cover his face with his hands.
"So what now?" Noah asked the man.
"As the will stated in a private agreement with his side of the family, all possessions including his house shall be destroyed, if the child wishes to keep any remains before the collection and destruction of Mr. (L/N)'s property, they may do so." The man said, calmly.
Noah contemplated his options. His father had left him with nothing but this silver cross and a house that was destined to be destroyed. The memories of his childhood flooded back to him as he thought about the house. It was the place where he had grown up, where his father had taught him many valuable life lessons.
"I'd like to keep some of my father's belongings before the house is taken down," Noah replied.
The man nodded in understanding. "Very well, Mr. Noah. You have until the end of the week to collect what you want. After that, the process of destroying the property will begin."
With a heavy heart, Noah left the lawyer's office. He knew that he had a limited time to salvage what he could from his childhood home.
Over the next few days, Noah visited the house and carefully packed away items that held sentimental value. He found old family photos and various trinkets that held cherished memories. Each item was like a piece of his father that he could hold onto.
As he walked through the now empty rooms, he couldn't help but feel a sense of loss. His father's presence seemed to linger in every corner of the house, and Noah was determined to preserve these memories.
On the last day before the house was set to be demolished, Noah stood outside, looking at the place that had once been his home. He took a deep breath, whispered a final farewell to his father, and locked the door for the last time.
With the few possessions he had salvaged, including the silver cross necklace, Noah left the house behind.
Little did he know that this would lead him on a journey he could never have imagined, a journey that would intertwine his fate with that of the Helltaker and his demon girls.
