AN: Greetings and salutations! This is a KP fic idea I've been bouncing around in my head for awhile, and I hope you like it.

Naturally, I don't own Kim Possible. But I do own the Johnny Rockwaller character.

It actually started as a pretty good morning for Bonnie Rockwaller.

When the alarm went off at 6:15, she initially resisted getting up, but finally crawled out of bed after a couple of minutes. She headed over to the bathroom, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was unoccupied. Usually Connie or Lonnie got there first, but not this morning. Happy with the role reversal, Bonnie took her time in the shower, even after she heard an angry knock at the door.

"Bonnie, come on! We need the hot water, too!"

It was Connie, who certainly didn't mind using all the hot water when SHE was first. Bonnie ignored her and after her shower, she made a point of wrapping herself in Connie's favorite towel. As she left the bathroom, she smiled smugly as a furious Connie stormed into the bathroom to take her own shower.

Once in her room, Bonnie chose her clothes carefully. This particular Monday was an important one at Middleton High. It was school spirit week, and so Bonnie wanted to make sure she was dressed for it. Moreover, the all-important rivalry game with Lowerton was this Friday, so Bonnie wanted to get a head start on cheer practice after school. Even if it meant more time with Kim Possible.

Bonnie grimaced as she thought of her fellow cheerleader. She was just so—aggravating. The redhead was a world-famous superhero and had the ego to match, even having the motto "I can do anything." For Bonnie, that struck a nerve. It was hard enough competing with two older sisters who reveled in being prettier and smarter than she was, but how could she compete with someone like Kim Possible? She certainly wasn't going to ever be as famous as her or as athletically gifted as her. Still, Bonnie had a lot of pride and wasn't going down without a fight. And fortunately, one of Kim's few weaknesses was that she wasn't a natural at the high school popularity rat race. Bonnie excelled at that, and she never let Kim forget it.

After getting dressed and putting her makeup on, Bonnie came downstairs to be greeted by her mother. "Good morning, Bon-Bon," Mrs. Rockwaller said warmly, using her nickname for her daughter. "Hope you're hungry. I made you a big breakfast." The table was set with French toast and scrambled eggs, one of Bonnie's favorites. Bonnie smiled—this day was only getting better.

As Bonnie sat down to eat, Connie and Lonnie eventually joined the table, giving their little sister dirty looks that Bonnie ignored. She was having a great morning and wasn't going to let her sisters ruin it. The older girls began eating their own breakfast, making small talk with each other about their community college classes and the boys there. Everyone soon noticed, though, that one family member was missing. "Bon-Bon, could you get your brother up? His toast is getting cold."

"Sure, Mom." Bonnie had already eaten her fill, so she didn't mind an early exit from the breakfast table. She made her way back up the stairs and entered the bedroom next to hers. Inside, on a bed with dinosaur sheets, there was a sound-asleep young boy hugging a large teddy bear.

Bonnie couldn't help but smile at her little brother. Her relationship with him was so different from the contentious one with her sisters. Part of that was he was much younger than her as well as a boy, so she didn't have the same competitive feelings. But beyond that, he was so cute and so sweet. He was naturally kind-hearted and would always try to make her or anyone else feel better after a bad day. Bonnie and her sisters didn't usually get along, but one thing that brought all three Rockwaller girls together was that they adored Johnny.

Quietly making her way to the bed, Bonnie knelt down and gently ran her fingers through Johnny's blond hair. "John-nee," she cooed. "Rise and shine! It's time to get up."

The little boy slowly opened his eyes and looked up at her. "Can I sleep just a bit longer, Bonnie?"

"Not on a Monday. You've got to get ready for school. Besides, when you're asleep I don't get to see your adorable eyes!" Bonnie gave him a kiss on the forehead, prompting a smile from the youngster. "Okay. I guess I'll get up."

"That's a good boy." Bonnie picked her brother up and took him downstairs, where the rest of the family happily greeted him. Johnny went over to Connie and Lonnie so they could both give him a good morning kiss as well, then he sat at his spot at the table and began to eat.

"And how's my little man doing this morning?" Mrs. Rockwaller asked her son, giving him a kiss as well.

"We have a math test at school today." Johnny said. "It's going to be hard. We have to do double-digit subtraction!"

Elementary school. Those were the days, Bonnie thought wistfully. Johnny was only in second grade, so he had a lot less to worry about from school than she did. Double-digit subtraction sounded pretty easy compared to the cutthroat popularity wars she had to fight as a teenager. "Well, I have to head out. School starts soon." She waved at Johnny as she headed for the door. "Do great on that test today, little bro. I'll see you when I get home."

Bonnie didn't realize it then, but she would not, in fact, see Johnny when she got home.
