Bugs Bunny grabbed for a carrot and started to eat it. He had always liked carrots. He saw Elmer Fudd walk by with his gun. This happens a lot. The only thing is Elmer never really shot the gun at Bugs.
"What's up, Doc?"
"Looking for a screwy rabbit."
"Maybe you'll see two of them sooner than later. I have a relative coming out."
"When is that?" Elmer asked, already interested in his relative.
"Probably about less than a month from now."
"What's the rabbit's name?"
"Not telling until you see two."
"I can't guess, then."
"No. You wouldn't get very far if you tried."
"A male or female screwy rabbit?"
"You'll have to find out by then too. I'm not giving any clues, Doc. Have fun on your rabbit hunting."
"I will."
Bugs disappeared after that.
"Another screwy rabbit coming to town, huh? I should look forward to seeing more than just one screwy rabbit," he told himself.
One other thing Bugs didn't share this was the first time he's met this relative Elmer couldn't figure that out for himself.
Elmer returned.
"Have you known this other screwy rabbit for a long time?"
"I recently found out. That's all I know."
"That's not enough," Elmer said.
"I know. When the rabbit shows up, you'll get what you want - two instead of one."
"This should be interesting. I'll look forward to meeting this other screwy rabbit."
"I will mention you, Doc. So be prepared."
"I can't wait for this to happen. You'll have to let me know when this other screwy rabbit shows up."
"You don't need to know, Doc."
"If the other screwy rabbit shows up sooner, it'll be a surprise."
"Exactly, Doc. I'm sure the rabbit will like to hear about you too."
"I hope it's not going to be anything bad."
"It won't. I promise."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes," he answered.
Then Elmer walked off.
He really was interested in meeting this other screwy rabbit Bugs had just mentioned. Would this other one say Doc just like Bugs does or not? Just have to wait and see if all he could do.
