"Gaara! We're here~."
"Na-Naruko! He's the Kazekage now, you shouldn't be speaking so casually at him."
"Sakura's right, Naru-chan. It would be rude of you not to address him as such."
"Aww, but Kakashi-sensei-"
As the 5th Kazekage watched the yellow haired kunoichi pout at her jounin-sensei, he couldn't help but smile a bit at how little his dear friend Naruko has changed. Personality wise, at least. The physical changes would be for another time.
He still sees the energetic, boisterous, and sometimes annoying side of the blonde. And as he watches the scene where Naruko was "lightheartedly arguing" with her teammate who was oddly inching away from the blonde jinchuuriki, he realized that she now has a more mature feel about her. She isn't the blubbering fool she used to be 3 years ago. No, she has grown a lot from the last time they met. And seeing this made him smile on the inside.
But that smile was immediately shut down when he remembers the reason why Team 7 visited Suna.
"While I do enjoy you the three of you being here, I only wish that it was for different circumstances." Gaara spoke to the 3 Leaf nin as he set his hands on his office chair. "I believe you have heard the rumors?"
"Yeah we have!" Naruto cheerily replied, "We got some Intel that Sasuke is here. When we heard about it, we immediately came here to ask about it."
Gaara noticed Sakura stare at her feet. And we're those fresh blisters?
"Word is that Sasuke was here for a mission. As it was discovered that he was not alone. 3 people were with him and they look to be missing nin from Sound." Kakashi added as he shot a sympathetic glance to his pink haired student. Something Gaara cannot help but notice.
"If Sasuke were to be here, then it would've been noticed." Temari -who was standing at Gaara's right side. - told the Leaf nin.
"Our Anbu are taking surveillance around the village 24/7 once we were alerted to this news."
"It doesn't need to be said that our Anbu won't find him." Kankuro who was standing at Gaara's left spoke out. "This is Sasuke Uchiha we're talking about, after all."
"Indeed." Temari replied, "he's as cunning and stealthy as he is powerful. If he weren't a missing nin, I would've praised him for that."
Gaara was silent. And his face is unchanging. But that uncharacteristic sharp glare and deep frown directed at Temari from Naruko as well as the panicked expressions from Kakashi and Sakura worried him. A little. But it still worried him.
"...is something wrong, Naruko?" Temari asked with an eyebrow raised.
"...it's nothing. Tema-chan." Naruko replied as she smiled at the fan user. "It's just that I don't think Shikamaru would like to hear you cheating on him."
"What?" Temari and Kankuro asked. Both didn't hear it properly since it was too fast.
"What?!" Kakashi and Sakura asked since they weren't expecting for Naruko to say that. Sakura shivered a bit when she spoke while Kakashi was in "oh shit, here we go again" mode.
"What?" Naruko innocently asked whilst tilting her head to the side.
Gaara heard everything loud and clear. But refrained from speaking. Instead a little frown graced his lips as he leaned on his right arm that was on the armrest.
"...moving on." Kankuro said as he crossed his shoulders. "Should we hear anything about Sasuke. You will be the first to know."
"That said, please stay in the hotel we have prepared for you for the time being. It would be beneficial that way." Gaara finally spoke. Catching everyone's attention.
"I thank you for your hospitality. Lord Kazekage." Kakashi said as he bowed a little in respect, with Sakura and eventually Naruko following suit.
"Thanks a lot, Gaara! Soon, Sasuke will return to me. Oh I can't wait~." Naruko exclaimed as she cupped her pinkish cheeks.
Gaara was about to do a small smile at the happy Naruko when he noticed Sakura's blanched face and Kakashi's unreadable expression. It made him frown in suspicion instead. Since Gaara's frown was basically his neutral face look, only Kakashi and his siblings noticed it.
"Kankuro will guide you to your rooms." Gaara told Team 7. And with a look to Kankuro, the puppetmaster nodded to him and began walking to the Leaf nin to guide them to their rooms.
"Kakashi. I would like to have a word with you before you go. Please stay as well, Temari." Gaara told the jounin-sensei and his sister who were about to leave. Both of them walked back to the center of the room but not before Temari locked the door. She knew what this conversation was about and decided that was the best course of action.
"Leave us." Commanded Gaara to the hidden Anbu Guards that were stationed in the office. After they deactivated their henge, they saluted the Kazekage and left the room through the open window. The last Anbu closed it out of habit.
"Now, we shall talk." With a flick of his wrist, Gaara commanded his sand to cover every part of the room. The walls, the ceiling, and the floor were covered in it. This action ensures that no one can hear the conversation. Since once a certain blonde caught wind of this, they would all be either mauled or maimed. Or both. In Kakashi's point of view, at least.
"What do you truly know about these 'rumours'?" Kakashi asked with a seriousness that can only come from a former Anbu Captain. Even Temari fl record the picture inched a little at the Copy-nin's tone. Gaara was unaffected, as usual.
"I know that they aren't rumours. Sasuke Uchiha is here. And under my care." Gaara calmly told the surprised jounin-sensei. "And from what I gathered, it would be better if it stays that way."
"So it seems." Kakashi neutrally replied as he hid his emotions. "What do you plan on doing with him?"
"I believe that the right question is: what do you plan on doing with him?" Temari countered the question with another question. "It is clear to us through our little conversation with him and his squad that Sasuke doesn't want to be anywhere near the Hidden Leaf. Much less being near you and your team."
Kakashi kept quiet. And the sand siblings waited for him to speak. 10 seconds later, they got a response.
"How did you even meet Sasuke in the first place?"
2 Nights Ago…
"Stop where you are! You are about to enter Sunagakure. One step closer, and you're a dead man!"
The Sand siblings were patrolling the outer borders of their village like they usually do when they want to escape from all the work and the stress. None of them knew how this started but they weren't complaining. In fact, it's quite relaxing to them. This night was supposed to be the usual like all the other nights they ventured out to the border. But then, the encounter happened.
"What's going on?" Temari asked out loud. As they looked on, they saw a chunin squad facing down what looked like 4 individuals.
One of them was a red haired kunoichi wearing a red jacket and black shorts under a lavender skirt. Another was a blue haired swordwielder using what seems to be a greatsword to block the kunai and shuriken that was aimed at the group. The third one was a very tall man with orange hair who seems to be carrying…
Sasuke Uchiha?!
"Gaara-" Temari called out to his brother but was cut off by his immediate reply.
"I know." He said. He summoned a clump of sand from where he was standing and levitated it. Kankuro and Temari jumped on it as soon as it was high enough.
As the Sand Siblings neared the fight, Gaara inhaled a deep breath and shouted with an authoritative tone.
"Enough of this! Sand Shinobi, stand down. We will handle this."
"L-Lord Kazekage!" One of them shouted. And as soon as all of the chunin realized who it was, they obeyed Gaara's command and proceeded to bow towards their leader as he lowered the levitating clump of sand they were standing on.
The Sand siblings are now in between the Chunin squad and Team Taka. Temari was preparing her fan just in case of an attack, Kankuro as well but with his puppets. Gaara, however, didn't move from his crossed arms position. But he was still tense, expecting an attack anytime soon.
"Aw, great. Another fucking crazy jinchuuriki to deal with. This day can't get any worse-! Ow! What the hell, Karin?!" The blue haired swordwielder shouted at the redhead.
"Shut up, and maybe we can get through this alive!" The girl who was relieved was Karin. She then proceeded to walk forward towards the Sand Siblings with hands raised in surrender.
"What the hell is she doing?!" The swordwielder shouted.
"Shut up Suigetsu. She knows what she's doing." Sasuke reprimanded the swordwielder known as Suigetsu. His eyes were closed as his weakened body was being carried in the tall orange haired man's back.
As Karin was in equal distance from the Sand Siblings and Team Taka, Gaara couldn't help but notice her wounds. They were claw marks that went deep into the arms and thighs. Even her neck had the same claw marks. But that's not all. There was a faint chakra residing in them. And while Gaara is not a fully fledged sensory shinobi, he knows enough to realize the chakra came from a tailed beast. And if what Gaara heard from Suigetsu was true, then it didn't take long to realize who caused them.
Speaking of Suigetsu, he too has the same claw marks as Karin. But for some reason, they weren't as severe as Karin. In fact, Karin has more injuries than any of them. Even Sasuke seemed unscathed. But his faint chakra signature indicates he's exhausted his chakra. But from what?
But the bigger question that is currently in Gaara's mind is: why would Naruko do such a thing?
"Gaara of the Sand. Am I right?" Karin shouted to Gaara. "We are here to seek refuge in your village."
What?
"You heard me!" Karin replied without realizing that Gaara simply thought out loud. "We're here to seek refuge from Konoha and their pursuers.
"Is...is she serious?" Kankuro asked his siblings. "She's basically telling us that they're voluntarily handing themselves in! This is crazy…"
"Ay! Makeup Man! We're missing nin not criminals." Suigetsu shouted from their end. "We've got every right to demand a room and shit. Even if it's a cell…"
"We are NOT asking for a cell." Karin clarified as she glared at Suigetsu. "All we're asking for is a day or two in Suna in exchange for…" Karin looked to Sasuke to fill in the blank. Despite his weakened state, Sasuke still has a sharp mind. And proceeded to use said mind.
"Information on the whereabouts of Orochimaru's bases in Suna." Sasuke shouted from Juugo's back.
"Why would you betray your master like this?" Temari questioned. "And why now? Aren't you afraid about the consequences of betraying him?"
It was at this moment that Sasuke requested Juugo to let him down so that he could walk. Which Juugo accepted. The moment Sasuke touched the ground he started walking to where Karin was. But as he walked, he started speaking.
"You ask if I am afraid of the consequences of betraying Orochimaru. But let me ask you this. Why would I fear a dead man?"
The Sand Siblings tensed up. Something in Sasuke changed. It was like they were seeing a completely different version of him. They could tell from his voice. From his body language. And even from a visibly shaken Karin that something was up.
"Once I deemed him useless. I discarded him as such." Sasuke continued to speak. "Now, I could care less if his labs are destroyed. But none of that matters now. And you know why?"
The atmosphere around them suddenly shifted. As Sasuke came closer and closer to Karin, his chakra flared gradually to the point that once he stopped right beside Karin, the air felt like it wanted to suffocate you. And it showed. Since one of the Sand Chunin from before fainted from Sasuke Flaring his Chakra.
As soon as Sasuke lifted his head to face the Sand Siblings he opened his eyes for the first time since the whole encounter happened.
And then, he spoke.
"The reason why is that. Something far worse is after me. My team too. And if we don't seek shelter soon. It'll come… She will come. And if she comes, we can't escape. And if we can't escape, she will get me. And if she gets me… NononononoNONONO! She won't get me. She won't get me. She won't get me-"
"Sasuke!"
As the Sand siblings stared in horror, (Well, Gaara is still stone faced) at the sight that is Sasuke breaking down infront of them, they saw the Mangekyo Sharingan in all its glory. But that wasn't their major concern. For behind the Sharingan lays the deep and hidden emotions that Sasuke desperately tried to hide.
The emotion of Frustration. Of Fear.
Of Desperation.
And Gaara and the Sand Siblings got a first row view of it all. And a question popped into the Kazekage's mind.
"What happened to you Sasuke Uchiha?"
The insane laugh that the Uchiha made was the indication Gaara needed to realise that not only did he think out loud again. But also the fact that Something s wrong with the Uchiha.
End scene
"So that's what happened, huh?" Kakashi spoke as he adjusted himself from the sand chair Gaara made for him.
"Yes. Not only did he keep his word in giving us information in exchange for shelter. But he was very adamant in making us swear to the promise that is keeping his location hidden. Only my and my siblings know where he is. And from the looks of things, I would like to keep it that way." Gaara said calmly.
"To request refuge to us was insane. But apparently, Sasuke Uchiha is already insane." Temari spoke as she opened a cabinet to get a document.
"According to the doctors who treated Sasuke and his squad, he shows signs of PTSD as well as insanity. He's got an increased amount of anxiety. Constant mood swings. As well as constant awakenings from what seems to be nightmares. Overall, he isn't looking very good."
"Poor Sasuke…" Kakashi mournfully said. He was feeling extremely pitiful at the current state of his old student. And even guilty about it. After all…
"What caused him to be like this?" Gaara asked. "And does that have to do with Naruko acting… strange?" He paused for a moment because he was unsure of what to call it.
"Gaara has a point." Temari added in. "Every time Naruko so much as moves, Sakura had quite the reaction to it. She was panicky all around. You too, in fact."
"You and Sakura flinch when Naruko's around, Sasuke's mind is broken, and from what I observed, Naruko seems to be a little too keen on bringing back Sasuke. At least, that's what I think. So what happened to cause you, Sakura, and Sasuke to be like this?" Gaara asked. He knows that he was so close to figuring it out. All he needs is some answer from Kakashi to prove it.
And the Copy nin is willing to oblige him with such.
'Ah, the jig is up. No point in hiding it anymore.' Kakashi thought before he spoke.
"Gaara. Remember the time you were young and… unstable?"
The sound of a flip of a switch appeared in the heads of everyone in the room. It was if… Gaara and Temari had light bulbs on top of their head. And suddenly, it lit up.
Gaara had a nasty scowl from the realization.
Temari's gaping jaw is mere inches from the floor.
The 2 siblings now understand the fact that Naruko's unhinged. Just like what Gaara had been before (I think Naruko's case is worse than that, however). But they missed out on one detail. Well. 2 details, that is.
"Naruko's obsession with Sasuke that may have been caused by the Nine-tails inside of her forced him to leave the village. In the past few months we have been trying to bring him back to Konoha, Naruko may or may not have harassed and abused him in the times they 'fought' alone. Hence, his broken state." Kakashi said with him doing air quotes at the end.
It took 2 minutes for the siblings to fully digest this new information. Afterwards, Gaara spoke.
"Has her seal been looked into?"
"It has. And it's only getting worse. Jiraiya cannot do much since it was the Fourth Hokage who was the one that sealed her. Only he can figure out what to do." Kakashi replied. Fortunately for him, the Sand Siblings did not realize the connection between the Fourth and Naruko.
"And sadly, he's dead." Temari said the silent part out loud. Gaara nodded solemnly.
"If we do not find a solution to this dilemma as soon as possible, I fear that we may lose our friend to the damn fox." Gaara grimly concluded.
"I suggest that you keep Sasuke here. Away from Naruko while she's here." Kakash said to the Sand Siblings. "It would do Sasuke and Sakura some good if you do."
"Not to worry. Sasuke is safe and in good hands-"
BANG!
A loud explosion can be heard from the other side of the village. It was so loud that the whole building shook. Gaara began lowering the sound proofing sand when Temari realized something,
"That explosion must've come from the Anbu HQ!"
"Oh no." Gaara grimly said. "That's where-"
"Sasuke's being held. Yeah, I figured." Kakashi said as he finished Gaara's sentence with sarcasm.
"We need to stop Naruko from getting to him. And quick!" Temari shouted as she opened the window the Anbu from before closed.
"You go ahead, Kakashi. I'll try and gather enough men to help you out. Remember. You have to take the fight away from the village. Not towards it."
"On it! Kakashi said as he brought up his hitai-ate to reveal Obito's Sharingan and jumped through the window."
"The only hope I have is that Kakashi gets there before it's too late…" Temari said as she followed suit.
Gaara was left behind to bellow a command stating that all available Shinobi must head to the Anbu HQ to help out in any way.
As Temari neared the HQ, she couldn't help but feel mortified by what she saw. Karin had chains coming out of her arms. 6 chains to be exact. 2 of them were latched onto Naruko's arms, another 2 on her legs, while the last two was holding onto her torso.
She was a bloody mess. Karin's forehead was bleeding out, her former injuries opened up again. Causing her to lose more blood. And worst of all, she was about to collapse until Temari caught her.
"Karin! What the hells going on."
With a shaky finger and an even shakier voice, Karin pointed to the blonde jinchuuriki that now had her red tailed beast cloak with 2 tails on.
"Sh-s-h-she found us!" Karin explained as her body started going into shock from the loss of blood. "We had our chakra signatures repressed yet somehow she came out of nowhere and blew up the whole building up after she said, "Gaara...you betrayed me…",. Y-you promised us we would be safe!"
Temari felt very guilty at that point as she knelt down to give Karin a lap pillow. And that guilt was justified since well, she 100% believed they were safe. But then she forgot to factor in that this was Naruko they were dealing so, the fault's all on her.
"I need a medic!" Temari shouted out. As she took a look again at the slowly passing out Karin, she realized that the redhead's chains were now gone. As Temari looked at where Naruko used to be, she now saw Sasuke, using Suigetsu as a meat shield while he tries his best to get away from the jinchuuriki. Said jinchuuriki meanwhile, was subtly being sabotaged by a very smart Kakashi who somehow managed to hide his true intentions from his crazy student. Juugo meanwhile, was a few feet away from the 4 of them. Lying down on a pool that was made with own blood that came out from the 5 large claw marks on his
chest. Yes, ladies and gentlemen. The shit has indeed hit the fan at this point.
The Anbu present at the HQ were regrouping and was about to attack Naruko before they were commanded to just evacuate the area by Gaara. They won't be seeing any action soon.
"Temari! There you are." Shouted a visibly shaken Kankuro followed by a shell shocked Sakura. "We were on our way to the hotel when Naruko suddenly stopped and took off for the HQ." Temari was about to reply until Sakura spoke.
"...I'm so sorry." Sakura told the two siblings. She was on the verge of tears after seeing the destruction her teammate has caused.
"Don't be, Sakura. You didn't know that this would happen." Temari tried to comfort her. "But please. We need your help. Karin over here and Juugo over there are in critical condition. Kakashi is already trying so slow Naruko down as we speak."
"Right. So Sakura will heal those two while you and I try to get them out of the village? Since we don't want the fight to spill into the village?" Kankuro asked as his eyes widened at the sight that is Suigetsu being cut in half horizontally by Naruko using Zabuza's former great sword.
"Oh thank God, Kankuro has a brain for once. Yes that's the plan! Now get your ass over there and help Kakashi out. I'll catch up." Temari insulted as well as commanded her brother.
Not having the time to react to the insult, Kankuro brought out his puppet and proceeded to where the battle is. Which was the former basement of the Anbu HQ.
As he neared the battle, he heard Naruko say in a sing songy voice,
"Darling~~~ I'm so sorry for what happened to your friend over there." Kankuro saw Naruko take a look at Juugo. He noticed that her voice then changed into something devoid of emotions with her eyes looking blank as well,
"But that's what happens when someone tries to take you away from me, I guess. Look what I did to that red haired bitch. Not only did she try and stop me from getting you, but she had the guts to act touchy feely with you while I'm around! Oh well, she got what she deserved."
'The fuck?' was all Kanuro thought at the moment. Once he was at a respectable distance, he launched his puppet towards Sasuke and Suigetsu.
"Kankuro!" Kakashi called out to him as his puppet began swordfighting with a now regenerated Suigetsu.
"Kakashi. We gotta get this fight out of the village ASAP. What the hell do we do?!" Kankuro asked he watched the horror that is Suigetsu getting is head clawed off his body. Good thing it was just water, otherwise it would've taken more than therapy to fix the puppetmaster up.
"I'm trying to figure that out myself." Kakashi replied. He suddenly had a "eureka!" moment when he saw Sasuke managing to keep Naruko 6 feet away from him. Much to Suigetsu's chagrin of course.
"Take your time Kakashi." Kankuro sarcastically said as he switched opponents from Suigetsu to Sasuke after the water boy got duked to the side by Naruko. The Uchiha was secretly grateful for since that meant Naruko can't get near him without wrecking the puppet… he thinks.
"Don't worry, I know just what to do." Kakashi said as he began walking towards Naruko.
"Mou~ Kankuro! Why did you put your puppet against Sasuke and not the water boy? He's mine, damnit!" Kakashi heard Naruko who asked the puppetmaster as the feral look on her face just became even more feral. She still has the tailed beast cloak by the way. As well as the sing songy cheery voice Kakashi and Kankuro heard from before. Which made her more terrifying. In Kankuro's case that is.
"Maa… calm down Naru-chan. He's just trying to protect you from the surprise attack Sasuke was about to pull of on you." Kakashi said as he bullshitted at Naruko. Fortunately, the Uchiha shut up and pretended to glare as if saying, "Damn!, I got caught.". Kakashi silently commended his old students acting skills.
"Eh? He did? Thanks Kankuro! Now let me have at him and take him for myself!" Naruko exclaimed. Kakashi could see Sasuke visibly shiver when she said that. Poor him.
"Carefully, my young student. Dont you realize the destruction this battle is doing to Suna?" Kakashi told Naruko as a means to distract her from Sasuke. Who seems to have gotten the message Kakashi was subtly trying to tell him.
"Shit. I guess I've been found out." Sasuke acted smugly. Making his voice as cocky as possible whilst he slowly inched farther and farther away from Naruko.
"Damn. And here I was thinking about blowing this village up and leaving. In fact, I even asked Sasuke used a henge on the Kazekage to let us in and take the super duper secret...secrets of this village. Now my plans have been thwarted. Damn
you, Kakashi! "
Kakashi looked to Sasuke's left and saw a fully healed Suigetsu who chimed in. Already caught up with Kakashi's scheme. The jounin-sensei quietly thanked God since it the plan was working as it should and hasn't blown up on their faces...yet.
"Hey Sasuke, why don't we just scram and leave this lame place instead?" Suigetsu recommended as he started amassing a lot of chakra into his legs.
"Sounds like a plan for me. And dobe, try to catch up." Kakashi heard Sasuke say as he forced a lot of chakra into his legs as well to give himself superspeed to get away from the jinchuuriki.
'Looks like they caught onto the plan, since it worked. That, or those 2 really just wanted to get as far as possible from Naruko.' Kakashi thought to himself.
"Wha- no! Come back here." Snarled Naruko as a third tail appeared from behind her. Kakashi couldn't see it. But he knows that his student definitely has fire for eyes right about now.
'Thank you God, Sasuke's still sharp enough to understand my plan. Also, thank you for making Naruko a bit dull. Not once did she realize what was truly going on, and I thank you for that.' Kakashi thought to himself.
"Naruko. Calm down." Kakashi called out to his raging student. "Sasuke's right there for the taking. But he isn't an idiot. We need to carefully plan our moves. Otherwise we might lose him again."
A tail disappeared when Kakashi finished what he said. A sign of calming down. After a few seconds, Naruko turned around towards Kakashi and said in a sing songy voice that had an undercurrent of killing intent.
"I don't need you to get Sasuke, Kakashi-sensei. Let me handle this for now while you get Sakura. We'll need her soon after all."
The blank, red, Nine-tails' eyes and emotionless face were enough to tell Kakashi that any wrong step or reply, he dies. In order to look calm and not show any signs of refusal to Naruko (because saying no is an act of betrayal to and that warrants death apparently.), He took his Icha Icha book out of his pocket, and managed to nonchalantly say,
"Maa… you can go, I'll have Sakura here in about 2 minutes."
"What was that Sensei? You'll get her in 10 minutes? I'm so sorry, I'm quite far from you I couldn't hear you properly." Naruko asked with a hint of 'this is a threat so please don't piss me off' in her voice.
"Yeah you heard me right." Kakashi said as he hid the cold sweat that came out when Naruko spoke earlier using the Icha Icha book, "it'll take a while, but she'll get here. 10 minutes tops."
"Yay! Now Sasuke and I can have some quality alone time. See ya soon~." Naruko said before she jumped a hundred feet above the air and landed 2 metres away from Sasuke and Suigetsu. Both of whom stayed still in fear. They were even shaking at some point.
"H-holy shit, Sasuke! This bitch is crazy-" Suigetsu said before he was elbowed by Sasuke.
"Shut the hell up! She can hear you…" Sasuke said before taking a cautionary glance at the demonic woman in front of them. Instead of anger, he saw Naruko smiling at him, demonically. Not to mention that she's glaring at Suigetsu for some reason (my take is that she wanted to be alone with the Uchiha - Author). That sent shivers to his spine.
"What the hell do we do now, man?! Karin's prolly dead, Juugo as well. We could break off this shit and take a hike. But even if we try and make a run for it, she'll just chase after us again!" Suigetsu panically asked Sasuke as he brought up his great sword to protect himself.
"I guess the only thing that we can do is fight." Sasuke grimly concluded. He didn't expect for Naruko to reply to that but she did,
"Aww~ you don't have to fight me, Sasuke. You can just go home to Konoha with me! And once we get home, I'm going to take you to my house, tie you up so you don't leave me, break a leg or 2 so that you won't leave me, crush your arms to splinters so that you won't leave me, feed you, bathe you, fuck you so you won't leave, won't leave, won't leave, won't leave, won't, leave, won't leave, won't leave, won't leave, WON'T LEAVE, WON'T LEAVE, WON'T LEAVE, WON'T LEAVE WON'T LEAVE, WHY DID YOU LEAVE MEEEEEEEEEE?!"
Naruko basically erupted. The Nine-tails' chakra surged out of the blonde. Causing the ground to crack, the air around her to swirl around her like a twister, and third tail which disappeared earlier came back with a friend - a fourth tail.
"I will bring you back with me no matter what, after all…" her threatening voice suddenly became bubbly, "You were always meant to mine and mine alone. Isn't that right, darling~~~?" She licked her lips seductively.
Cue the manic wide eye yandere laughter.
"Oh fuck. Oh fuck. Oh fuck. Oh fuck. Oh fuck."
Suigetsu was practically melting down at that point. He was sweating bullets and it wasn't because of the desert heat. He was about to run away again before Sasuke backhanded his face and said,
"Look, as much as I want to fucking run off. I know that it won't matter. She'll just get us eventually. But if we can win this fight, we might live to see another day." He shivered at this point, "I don't want to know what would happen if we lose. So let's get our shit together and fucking fight!"
Sasuke brought his sword infront of him and readied his chidori. Seeing the renewed confidence in his comrade that basically came out of nowhere, Suigetsu was reassured.
"Well, shit. We have to face our demons someday." The Hoozuki swordsman then hardened his grip on his great sword. Waiting for Sasuke's cue.
Both missing nin vanished. They were so fast that the sand around them rose up and blocked Naruko's vision. After the sand settled and the blonde's eyes were sand free, she saw that Sasuke and Suigetsu were gone.
They are currently hiding in the village right now. They pumped so much chakra into their legs that they have achieve near instant travel. But none of them realized that.
"You fucking moron! What the fuck happened to, 'Get our shit together and fight!',?" Suigetsu hissed at the Uchiha while he watches for any ninja that might find out where they are. They are currently in an alleyway 3 blocks from the Kazekage building.
"There's no way in hell I'll fight her." Sasuke said as he frantically paced around the alley. "Every time I do anything, she makes it sexual and disgusting and perverted. Every punch, stab, and jutsu I throw at her makes her aroused! It's creepy, gross, and it's freaking me out!"
Suigetsu doesn't have time for another one of Sasuke's mental breakdowns. But he had to make the Uchiha stop repeatedly telling himself that, "My chidori isn't a dick, stop moaning when I stab you with it.". If only their lives weren't at stake here, then Suigetsu would've laughed his ass off at how pathetic Sasuke is right now.
"So undignified…" Suigetsu said as he commented on the current state of Sasuke. He then proceeded to grab the Uchiha from the collar and continuously slap him in the face while saying,
"Get", Slap, "Your", Slap, "head in the", Slap, "Fucking," Slap, "Game!" SLAP.
Sasuke's cheeks are pinkish red now. And Suigetsu's getting pissed off now.
"You can breakdown as much as you want once we get the hell out of this village and get as far away as we could possibly be from that Yellow haired bitch! Now be a man instead of a little bitch and help me find a way to get out of this place." Suigetsu said as he let go of the now calm Uchiha and proceeded to look towards the 2 ends of the alleyway.
"There's got to be a way out of here. But how?" Sasuke said as he opened his Sharingan and scanned the area. "there are multiple squads of Anbu patrolling near us. If we can get a read on their patrolling pattern, we might just get out of here unscathed."
"You don't need to worry about that." Said Kakashi who jumped from the building above the 2 missing nin and landed right in front of them.
Sasuke tried to muster a defence but suddenly, everything went dark.
