I've traveled back in time! What do I do?!

Unsure what to entirely do, Shinji frantically took out his notepad and began taking notes. If he remembered correctly, he would forget the future entirely by tomorrow.

What should I write down?!

He tried to calm himself and think back to previous events. He examined the Advent Card again.

This was the Rider, Decade was fighting. He claimed to be behind the monster attacks. But then why is the Rider on the card? Usually, monsters are on the Contract Card. Also, how could he have used Time Vent after he died?

Shinji wrote down the sequence of events on his notepad and took a deep breath. It would have been impossible for that Rider to use Time Vent.

That means that he wasn't behind it all. The real villain used him as a setup. But then who is the real villain? There has to be some sort of connection right?

Up above Shinji heard a swooshing sound. He looked up as he saw another monster fly towards Restaurant Agito. It looked just like the owl monster but was blue.

Wait, there weren't two monsters yesterday..! Time has changed!

Shinji wrote this down and then described the two monsters.

Both birds..huh. I wonder why specifically birds? Maybe there's a clue, but first. I should collect their cards. I must have not found them before because I was in a hurry.

Taking out his deck, Shinji transformed and then took out his Survive card.

I'm still in a hurry, but my new cards and Survive form will make short work of everyone.

"Survive!" his visor said.

Ryuki called forth DragRanzer as he then loaded in his Clear Vent card. Both Ryuki and DragRanzer then became nearly invisible as they flew over to where Agito and G3-X were fighting. As the birds were flying in the air, DragRanzer blew a large stream of fire engulfing the monsters in flames. Ryuki then used his gun to shoot them out of the sky.

KABOOM!

KABOOM!

Two Advent Cards flew down into Ryuki's hands. They were now blank.

This confirms that the same person summoned these monsters. Off to find the others!

Ryuki flew off leaving behind a confused Agito and G3.

Back at the stadium with Kabuto and Gatack, Ryuki took note that just like with Agito there were now two worms. Remembering how effective Freeze Vent was, he used it again. The enhanced power of Survive froze both of the Worms in place as Ryuki used Dragranzer's tail to slash both of them into pieces, he then jumped down to the ground to collect their Advent cards. Again both were blank.

"Ryuki! What are you doing here?" Kabuto asked.

"There's no time for that! Quick tell me what significance do those Worms hold?" Ryuki asked.

"One of them was a puppet imitation of my sister!" Kabuto said, "I should have been the one to.."

Ryuki cut him off, "What about you Gatack?"

"That Worm is the one that killed my brother," Gatack said.

Hmm, so the Worms were connected by sibling relationships.

"Thank you..! Be on guard." Ryuki said climbing back onto DragRanzer.

"Say haven't we been through this before?" Gatack asked rubbing his helmet.

"Yes. You have." Ryuki said before flying off.

Next, he was flying over towards Faiz who was now being chased by the large monster and a smaller flying monster. Ryuki then noted that the smaller one seemed to resemble a crane.

Another bird interesting.

Sneaking up behind, Ryuki rushed in.

"Sword Bento!" the visor said.

He then slashed into the air making an "X" shape. Fire burned from the blade making the x into a powerful flaming projectile. It flew towards the Crane monster destroying it. Shinji rolled forward collecting her Advent Card.

"Ryuki?" Faiz asked, "I think I remember this.."

"Then let's destroy that thing..!" Ryuki said.

"Exceed Charge!"

"Shoot Bento!"

Faiz jumped forward and kicked the monster, the energy from his kick created a powerful shockwave that started to burn its face and neck. Ryuki charged up and fired his gun at the belly as DragRanzer let out a stream of flames. The creature very quickly turned to ash. The Advent Card flew into Ryuki's hands.

Ryuki tackled the Bird Dopant. He managed to stop it from throwing W's bike. Shotaro, Philip, and Akiko rushed out.

"Eh, what's going on?" Akiko asked.

Ryuki slashed the Bird several times with his sword and then kicked it away. He then took out another one of his cards.

"Clear Bento!" the visor said.

You know the problem with this card is I have to have the confidence that it's actually working.

He ran behind the Bird Dopant and slashed at its back, Ryuki raised his sword up again.

"Memory Break!" W shouted.

W's kick came forward hitting the Bird Dopant as it was followed by an explosion. Ryuki raced to grab the Advent Card and then rushed off to leave.

"Wait..!" Philip said, "I have so many questions!"

"I have your number," Ryuki said.

Ryuki was then back at the scene where ZI-O would be fighting, Ryuki saw up ahead ZI-O was already fighting the blue shark rider along with the Bee Woman.

All the monsters had Advent Cards, meaning they all came from the same source

Ryuki's walk was slowed down as he continued to fill up his notebook with details. He was also breathing heavily. The rushing around and constantly being in Survive form took out a lot of energy from him.

But who could be behind this? Let me reexamine my notes.

He flipped through the pages as the sounds of battle continued up ahead.

All the monsters share a bird motif, except for the Worms and the giant monster. The Worms are connected through a sibling connection. The monster can be explained as an outlier. There's always at least one outlier. If ZI-O wins, then its possible time could be reset again. There's only one Rider that could be the culprit. Odin but it's too obvious to be Kanzaki. Has to be I've got to tell Den-O, but he wouldn't listen to me.

Then immediately the Den-Liner appeared in front of Ryuki. Exhausted, Shinji removed his Advent Deck and nearly closed his eyes.

Get a hold of yourself Shinji, still need to solve the case.

His eyes began fading as he Ren rush out of the train with his trademark angry look on his face. It was then that everything went black.

Raydragoons were everywhere. On the streets, flying in the air. They were attacking people everywhere. A desire entered Shinji's mind. A desire to save them all. The victims of the Rider War, the victims of the Mirror Monster. He could win and maybe save them all. But there was so much blood. On his blue jacket. In his mouth. And he felt very tired. Like he wanted to sleep for a long time. But then there was a light. A light that brought him back to a old-time, but an old place.

"Kido!" he heard Ren say.

His voice was like an echo. Shinji could tell he was in a dream because echoing voices were the standard for dreams.

"Kido!" Ren said again.

He did have an eerie feeling that this dream had shades of memories, but there was no time to dwell on this. He had to stop Odin. Time to awaken.

Shinji forced himself awake as he was laying on a couch with Ren staring at him.

"Kido!" he said.

Shinji smiled, "You already said that."

Ren crossed his arms, "What do you think you've been doing?"

"I'm sorry Ren, but I've already been through all of this. What time is it?" Shinji asked standing up.

"You passed out for the entire night! Sit down." Ren said.

"So time didn't reset. I wonder why?" Shinji said.

"Time reset? I don't know what you're talking about but please sit down. Eri and I will go get you some tea. Like the kind at Atori's." Ren said.

He then exited into the next room. Shinji smiled.

Eri really has softened up Ren.

He took out his deck and checked for the Blank Advent Cards he collected.

Ren won't believe me. He's too worried about me. Den-O won't listen to me.

He looked at the coffee table in front of him. Ren's Advent Deck lay before him. Reaching forward he grabbed the deck and quickly walked over to a human-sized mirror.

"Henshin." He said quietly.

Shinji examined his body surprisingly it wasn't as strange as he thought to see himself as Knight. Darkwing appeared in the mirror and screeched lightly in confusion.

Shinji put his finger to the helmet and said, "Shhhh it's only for a little bit."

He then hopped into the Mirror World. Heading outside onto the road, he pulled out a simple business card. This card had the cartoon drawing of the Imagin along with the Den-Liner train. It was a card used by Riders to contact Den-O if something related to time travel happened. Shinji readied his stance to appear more like Ren and practiced his voice to be a bit deeper.

"I am Ren." He said to himself.

That sounds alright enough. I hope.

He put his thumb on the corner of the card and it glowed. Shinji looked around waiting for something to happen.

Gee, I hope they can travel to the Mirror World. That'd be embarrassing if they couldn't!

He turned around about to leave when he heard the familiar sound of the Den-Liner. He quickly turned back around as the train doors opened up revealing Momotaros.

"Knight? What is it, did you talk to that dragon-jerk?" Momotaros.

"Yes, but more importantly I've solved the case. Someone is messing with time." Shinji said.

Momotaros then pulled him inside the train, "I knew it! I can feel changes in time in my knees, I just can't tell what!"

Shinji stood on board as he saw Ryutaros wave. He waved back before realizing this would be out of character for Ren.

"I collected these Blank Advent Cards, I'm sure that the Rider behind this is Kamen Rider Odin," Shinji said.

"Ah, Kanzaki Shirou we have a large file on him." Said a voice.

Shinji saw an older man eating rice.

"I don't think this is Kanzaki. He only cared about his sister." Shinji said.

"But how do we find him, Owner?" Momotaros asked.

You know I was so tired, I didn't think about that.

"One would think that such a troublemaker would be easy to track," Urataros said.

While they talked, Naomi offered Shinji a drink. Shinji politely held up his hand to indicate no.

"Please, it's a new blend, I'm sure you'll like it." She said.

Again Shinji said no.

I have his cards. Maybe I can use them to find him?

"Knight do you have any ideas?" Momotaros asked.

Suddenly a memory popped into Shinji's head. He remembered during the Rider War, when he used Zolda's cards. They would always go straight back to the source.

"I have an idea!" He said his voice slipping back to normal, "I'll find and handle him myself."

There was a pause, "Well sure you seem pretty confident." Momotaros said.

Kintaros hit Shinji's back, "You're a strong warrior Knight!"

"We'll be able to track you if something goes wrong anyway. Thanks for taking care of the problem for us either way." Momotaros said.

Shinji then hopped off the Den-Liner, he waved goodbye to the Imagin as he walked off.

"You know he sounded different," Momotaros said.

"He was much nicer than he usually is," Ryutaros said.

"Maybe he had a cold," Kintaros said.

Naomi however crossed her arms and had a grumpy look on her face, "But why didn't he try my coffee?! He should have brought his friend, Ryuki! He's a lot nicer!"

The other Imagin looked away not wanting to tell her the truth. They all liked Naomi.

Shinji disconnected the deck as Ren stood in the living room angry. Shinji disconnected the Advent Deck and held it out to Ren. He snatched it out of Shinji's hand.

"What do you think you're doing?" Ren asked.

"You'll see. You'll all see I'm going to prove myself to the other riders." Shinji clutched his own Advent Deck and began to walk away.

"Kido.. Just stop! We're done fighting. You don't have to prove yourself." Ren said.

"No. I love being a Rider, but I don't like not being taken seriously." Shinji said.

"You're not taking your own life seriously. Kido, I already watched you die once!" Ren said.

Shinji's eyes widened.

"W-what? But you told me..!" Shinji said.

"I lied. You died like a true hero, truth is it should have been me. You were always the better man." Ren said.

"No! I stopped the Rider War.. I survived! I told you I'd never die." Shinji said.

"Kido we were all brought back to life by chance. I can't let you die this time. Even if I have to stop you." Ren said.

"Why didn't you tell me? I kept telling myself that I survived. I stopped the Rider War. It was my confidence!" Shinji said.

"Kido, you were never a warrior, just someone who found a card deck. I can't let you die again. There's so much good you can do." Ren said.

Shinji got out his deck and walked over to the mirror, "Then..then..I'll show you how strong I really am! Henshin!"

Shinji transformed and leaped into the mirror again.
