This is Chapter 9.5 of Tales of the Decade Second Season. Please enjoy it like a fan for Kamen Rider.
Chapter 9.5: World of Trust and Spirit!
Teleporting away from the fight they had, Doctor Shinigami suddenly raises his claw and fires a beam of dark energy upon the Gammaizer, blasting its chest and sending it backwards. The blast leaves a huge hole on the monster's chest but it begins to regenerate until the Fangire stomps its foot across its face.
''Who order you to go after her?!'' Doctor Shinigami demands furiously at the monster for targeting the girl. The Gammaizer, already healing its wounds, refuses to answer which only enrages the mad scientist more, actually yelling at it. ''ANSWER ME!''
''Has your emotions blinded you?'' The Gammaizer finally responds, detecting an unnecessary emotion from him. This causes the doctor to blast him so strongly it tosses it out of the wall.
''I will not ask you again. Return her soul at once!'' He orders the monster, acting a tad bit more calm but restrained to not kill it. The Gammaizer stands up, stares at him and finally answers. ''The soul was not captured. Time to locate it is required.''
Scoffing, Doctor Shinigami turns around and proclaims calmly. ''Best you do or else.'' He turns his head halfway, ordering it. ''Either we find her or Decade. I'll be fine either way. Just do your job at once!''
The Gammaizer obeys obedience before it vanishes.
Natsumi, in the weirdest of forms as a ghost, eyes the little ghost boy who looks so sad and he has every right since… yea…
Trying to smile to show he can trust her, she asks him friendly-like. "How did you… well, end up like this?"
The little boy, Takeru, isn't sure how this all happened to him. It all happened so fast when that monster appeared.
"I don't know. I didn't feel anything when that monster hurt me and I'm like this now." Takeru explains himself, not remembering much but that's how he's become a ghost. He then pulls out an orange Eyecon. "I also have this but I don't know what it does."
Natsumi frowns, feeling for him that his life just ceases to exist at such a young age and now he's like this. She kneels down to him and smiles, comforting him. "I'm sorry to hear that."
Takeru blushes, really happy that someone shows care for him due to whatever he is right now.
"It's okay! I've been watching my Oto-san from afar but…" Takeru begins to say with a smile until he frowns, missing him.
Natsumi frowns as she then asks him. "And you haven't tried to reach out either."
"I-I'm scared…" Takeru says, looking really scared to imagine how his own father will feel if he sees him like this. Sighing as she gets his worries; Natsumi then begins to say, talking like how Tsukasa would put it. ''It's natural to be afraid, Takeru. Everyone is scared. But the part that changes that is how others will feel like your father."
She then smiles happily, encouraging him. "He'll be happier to just see you. And so would you. No one but you can decide to have that happiness.''
Takeru blushes, really wanting to see his father. Maybe… maybe he has been scared with how others would feel but not what he feels like.
However, before he can give his response, a burst of sound energy pierces outward from another reality. This shocks the two as the Gammaizer emerges.
"Target found." The Gammaizer announces to Natsumi's horror. "It's that monster from before!" She grabs Takeru and shouts, running as she drags him. "Come on, Takeru!"
He worries heavily, also running with her. The Gammaizer now dashes after them as the two slide through buildings but it pursues them regardless, phasing through the walls.
Ryu looks defeated. He thought he would maintain the peace of his world only for a monster to release a powerful, godly Gamma and now he lost his powers by some greedy thief. He realizes that he's nothing more but a failure. He tried to fight for so long and for nothing.
"I lost the Specter Eyecon and Ghost Driver. I can't help anyone now." He utters, feeling like a true failure. He failed everyone, most of all Takeru.
Suddenly, Tsukasa grabs him by the collar of his shirt and tells him off angrily. "Like hell you can't! Natsumi's soul is still out there and I have no damn clue to find her! You're the expert! Show me that your burning spirit for humanity hasn't died out!"
Ryu eyes him, able to see the look of a man desperate to save someone he cares for deeply. Just seeing him like this remembers how the last thing Takeru told him was that he was the greatest father ever. Smiling softly, he eyes Tsukasa and nods. He pulls out another Ghost Driver, explaining. ''I have another driver but I can't do much without an Eyecon but I can try to sense her out. We don't have much time so if you can somehow feel or sense out a ghost, our odds in finding her will improve.''
Nodding, Tsukasa begins to think and recalls how Layla was unaffected by the Gammazier's ability. He turns to his Absol, asking her. "Layla, are Dark Types unaffected by Ghost?"
"Absol!" Layla barks, correcting him that Dark isn't unaffected by Ghost but Ghost can't do much or any damage to them. Tsukasa understands as he then asks her. "So you're not very effective by their attacks but your attacks on them are super effective?"
Layla nods again. It makes sense by how injured Gammazier was. He then asks her. "Can you track a ghost?"
Layla smirks, barking that she's going to give it a try. ''Absol!''
"I can help with that." Tsukasa turns as Dragonic arrives, actually carrying Natsumi's body around his tail carefully. The dragon floats over Layla and he places his claw over Layla's forehead, focusing deeply. Layla's eyes glow as Dragonic pulls his claw off her and announces with a smirk. "There, I temporarily taught her Foresight. Should help us reveal any ghosts to us."
Layla barks, confirming it too. Tsukasa smirks, grateful right now as he orders her. "Lead the way girl!"
''Absol!" Layla barks, running off in a hurry as she catches a ghost's scent with Foresight, seeing through things that are invisible.
''Jiggly…" Jigglypuff mutters sadly, wishing she could do what Layla does too. Tsukasa eyes the balloon fairy and sighs, ordering her too. "Go on, help out too."
Jiggly blinks, eyeing him and cries smiling. "Jiggly!" She floats, flying behind Layla.
Tsukasa sighs, hoping Natsumi is okay.
''Oh ho-ho…" He turns upward, annoyed as he gazes at the flying, mechanic bat. Kiva-la coos playfully, saying. "If you need more help, I can be of use too, mooch~."
Tsukasa glares at her, aware that the living belts of the World of Kiva can detect Fangires and likely other supernatural things too. Debating about it as she can help find Natsumi too, Tsukasa just lets her as he walks away. Kiva-la giggles as she flies to find them.
The young man blinks at this as Dragonic explains to him. ''It's hard for Tsukasa to trust others. I guess it's why he feels that much of a connection for Natsumi. To him, she's the one person he's open with."
"I know the feeling." He responds, reminded of his friends and loved ones back in his world.
Daiki watches from afar, not yet leaving this world after he saw Natsumi getting her soul ripped out of her body. But... he doesn't want to oppose Dai-Shocker. It's... it's too risky and yet he has to try something.
Natsumi and Takeru have been running for their lives, escaping the Gammaizer and also the people who spotted them with their anti-ghost tech and try to shoot them down. Luckily they manage to hide in an abandoned building, taking a moment to breathe.
''We should be safe here.'' She begins to say, breathing calmly. She then turns to Takeru who looks really sad and depressed.
"Hey, don't worry!'' Natsumi begins to cheer him up happily, sitting down next to him and smiles as she also comforts him. "I know it's scary out there but you shouldn't ever feel helpless or doubt yourself. The world is always a scary place but we have the strength to overcome those odds."
"Even like this?" Takeru asks her, having been hiding for a long time since everyone fears ghosts and worst afraid of himself and what he is. Natsumi eyes him and smiles, responding as she touches her chest where her heart would be. ''Especially like this. Believe in yourself, Takeru. Believe in this warm beat in your heart."
Takeru eyes her and then to his chest. Ghosts don't have hearts but… he does feel a beat.
"Target confirm." The two immediately panic as they run again just as the wall behind them blasts outward, revealing the Gammaizer as it chases after them.
Natsumi groans in a panic, hoping someone comes to help them.
The group still searches but even in Layla's limited scene with Foresight, she can't locate Natsumi. Even when Sougo regroups, no sign of her.
Layla whines, eyeing Tsukasa and the orange headed young man that she can't pinpoint her direction.
"No good…" The young man mutters, gripping on something to sense for Natsumi but nothing. Is she running away from something?
Tsukasa remains calm, having hope that they'll find Natsumi.
"You know.'' Turning around irritated, Tsukasa stares at Daiki leaning on a wall, smirking as he is waiting for him. ''I can find her unless you want to be the big hero.''
Tsukasa glares, refusing to accept his help.
"Kaito, I don't need your-'' He begins to refuse his offer until Daiki then points out. ''Natsumi is over there."
This causes Tsukasa to raise an eyebrow, turning as Selina is also pointing to that same direction.
"Selina can use Foresight better than your mutt." Daiki declares proudly while Selina purrs. Layla growls by the "mutt" name, always hating that name. Tsukasa gives her a glare, hoping she would bite him but guess she knows better than to cross Kaito. He looks back at him and thanks him, at least this once. "Thanks." He runs off with Layla in that direction. The young man eyes Daiki and bows before running off.
They go in that direction and immediately see people running as a few of them scream loudly. "GAMMA, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!"
Tsukasa looks up to see numerous Gammas, no doubt ones that the evil doctor summons out to distract them. He scoffs, strapping on the Decadriver before he and Layla run forward.
"Get out of my way." He shouts, tossing those getting in his way as he thrusts a Rider Card into his belt.
"KAMEN RIDE!" The Decadriver announces as Tsukasa shouts, pushing its levers forward. ''Henshin!''
"DECADE!" The Decadriver then announces as his body glows and transforms into Decade, swinging a punch at a Gamma and he hits right through him. The Gamma turns to attack Decade until it is slashed by Layla's Night Slash, destroying it into a puff of smoke.
"Absol!" She barks at Decade, reminding him what Dragonic told him.
''I know!'' He responds, thrusting a card into his belt and pushes it handles.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as it transforms Decade into… ''ICHIGO!'' He performs the original rider's pose before he leaps at a Gamma and performs a Rider Kick while surrounded in green, wind energy. He kicks the monster and connects, causing it to fly forward into another and explodes, taking them both out.
Daiki watches from afar with Selina, knowing he should help him but he has no point getting in the way… especially with Dai-Shocker involved. He walks away while Decade dunks a Rider Card into his belt.
"SUPER FORM RIDE!" The Decadriver announces as he glows red and transforms into Faiz's super form. "FAIZ ALEX!" He presses the button on his wrist watch. "START UP!"
He suddenly dashes in an eruption of speed, blitzing through multiple Gamma that after 60 seconds; Decade-Faiz stops on his tracks and all the monsters explode. He soon reverts back as Tsukasa adjusts his coat.
''You know; we should stop meeting so much~" Tsukasa looks up with a glare, gazing towards Doctor Shinigami hovering in the air with both arms behind his back.
"I don't have time for you, Doctor!" Tsukasa yells at him, not going to be stopped anyway. The Fangire actually has to agree, having only released these Gammas to find the girl's soul but it seems those monsters are as stupid as mindless, obedient slaves.
"That we agree but don't worry, that human girl will return to you safe and sound." The mad doctor proclaims confidently before he turns around and begins snickering. ''For now anyway.''
Tsukasa hears that last part but before he can question him, the doctor declares joyfully. "Ta-Ta for now." He turns into multiple bats, swarming around before they all fly away.
He grunts as he eyes that more Gamma appear, each one standing in his way. He scoffs irritated, pulling out a Rider Card and he's about to transform again until the young man walks past him, declaring serious. ''Tsukasa-san, let me handle them."
Tsukasa scoffs, already aware of who he is by his "speeches".
"So let me guess, kid. That burning spirit and fate in humanity, even the Gamma." He says, causing the young man to smile. "I never even got the chance to tell you my name." He takes a moment to breathe in and out before he announces with a cheerful smile. "I'm Takeru Tenkuji, and I died on my 18th birthday!"
"… I didn't need to know the last part, kid." Tsukasa tells him with a look of annoyance. In fact, was that a Meme? Takeru gives him a worrying look before answering him, trying to smile nervously. "It's um… my thing."
Dragonic, appearing out of nowhere, pulls out a piece of paper to you, the readers and it says ''It's a Meme, dud'' and then he vanishes.
"Well I was dead but I'm alive." Takeru explains to Tsukasa who he pulls out a golden Ghost Driver and straps it around his waist. "And I'm a Kamen Rider too!" He hits his right thumb on the red rectangle switch as the belt announces. "GRATEFUL!"
Takeru does his signature pray-like hand pose as multiple ghost hoodie coats manifest around him as the belt announces excitedly in a jiggle. "WAIT TILL YOU SEE THIS~! COME AND GET IT!"
"Henshin!" Takeru shouts serious, tapping on the same button again as the Ghost Driver announces. "ALL EYES OPEN!"
His body glows as it is coating and now wearing a black full body outfit with golden lining.
"SWORDSMAN, INVENTOR, COMPOSER, PHARAOH, SAMURAI, PRIEST AND SNIPER!" The driver announces as each ghost hoodie enters each part of its body, forming a face symbol of said ghost before his head manifests a face with a crown-like appearance. "GRAND HENSHIN!"
Tsukasa watches with Layla barking in surprise, confirming that he's Ghost.
"Leave it to us." Ghost tells Tsukasa as he presses the red button multiple times and each Eyecon manifests in humanoid form. "Let's go, everyone!"
All the Eyecons charge with their signature powers, moving swift and vanishing like ghosts like the Gamma as does Ghost, punching one invisible enemy before he floats ghostly-like, evading incoming energy attacks and then twirls around for a spinning Rider kick, destroying multiple monsters.
"Naïve, noble kid he is." Tsukasa mutters with a small smirk. Kiva-la flies up to him and whispers into his ear that she found Natsumi. Taking a gamble, he nods as he and Layla follow him, leaving this to Ghost's capable hands.
Ghost side steps, ducks or evades each of the monster's attacks with ease before performing a swift kick or punch that destroys two Gammas. Ghost then dashes at the Gamma, swirling his right hand in a circle shape, leaving a trail of golden light and then thrusts that hand onto it, unleashing a round golden beam of light that blasts away multiple Gammas.
He then taps the red button of his belt as it announces. "ALL EYES ON ME!" Ghost leaps upward and hovers in the air as well as the other Eyecons. A golden sphere forms from the Eyecons in front of Ghost while a large eye symbol also forms. Ghost somersaults and leaps downward towards the remaining Gammas, slamming his right foot across the orb and descends with it. "GRATEFUL! OMEGA DRIVE!'' Ghost lets out a shout as he kicks the sphere onto all the Gammas before it explodes, taking them all out.
Ghost lands swiftly on the ground, breathing relief.
Still running for their lives, Natsumi is dragging Takeru away from the Gammaizer until she makes a u-turn and ends up in front of a crowd who sees them.
''GHOSTS!" They scream, shooting or trying to suck them up. Natsumi panics, pulling Takeru fast enough as the Gammaizer charges in and rams through numerous people, devouring their souls instantly before each of their bodies drop dead. Natsumi panics heavily while Takeru trembles horrifically.
''Escape is futile.'' The Gammaizer announces unemotional, approaching the two. "Your life will-'' Suddenly the monster is kicked by someone, pushing it backwards and it is none other than Ryu, taking on a fighting pose.
"Oto-san!" Takeru utters in shock, hiding behind Natsumi. Ryu can't see them without his Eyecon and the Gammaizer is visible.
"I'm here Gammaizer, fight me!" He declares, not afraid to fight it without his powers. "I won't let you hurt anyone else!" His fists tighten harder, not going to lose. "And I will change humanity! I know I can!"
The Gammaizer just looks at him with no expression before it fires a powerful sonic blast at him. Ryu stands his ground as he suddenly screams in agony, the waves lifting him up and pressuring around his limbs and bones. The monster then slams him over and over onto the ground, making him suffer more.
"Oto-san…'' Takeru utters with an expression of dread to see him like this. He grips on his chest, trembling as he doesn't want to lose him and yet he's still terrified.
"I-I'm scared, Natsumi-chan…" He utters out, his body still shivering. Natsumi eyes him and reminds him with a smile. ''Remember what I said, Takeru-kun.''
Takeru eyes her, looking back as Ryu grunts on the ground as Gammaizer approaches him, going to kill him. No, he can't let that happen, he has to stop being afraid. For him, he has to be brave like his father would.
"S-stop it…" Trying to utter his words, Takeru walks up slowly towards them but no response. Getting madder, Takeru holds his throat back before letting It all out with a loud scream, passionate. ''YOU LEAVE MY OTO-SAN ALONE!"
In that moment, his body begins to glow and his voice becomes heard to Ryu's shocking expression. He turns his head as a glow surrounds a small figure, unknown at first before it becomes visible. His eyes widen in shock that the one he's staring upon is his son.
"T-Takeru?" He utters in shock, speechless by this. The Gammaizer stops, turning towards the ghost and detects that its ghostly body has taken on a physical form. This… this is impossible; this is an illogical threat.
"Threat will be neutralized.'' It declares, raising its hand and charges up energy. Takeru panics as Natsumi runs over and just thinking of his well being, she guards with her body as the monster releases a destructive sound blast that explodes upon them.
"TAKERU!" Ryu cries out in horror, about to witness the death of his only child again. However, a green energy field glows through, blocking the attack. Natsumi blinks as she and Takeru are protected by Layla and her Protect barrier.
"Absol!" Layla barks smiling, happy to have arrived just in time. Arriving on the scene is Tsukasa and the others as Dragonic hands over Natsumi's body to him and then flies at the Gammaizer, smacking him with a spinning tail whip that pushes it back.
Natsumi eyes them and smiles, almost crying as she utters out joyfully. "Tsukasa-kun, Layla-kun, Dragonic-kun, Sougo-kun!"
Tsukasa smiles with relief to see her okay, well as okay as a ghost would be- never mind.
"Get back in your body, Natsumikan!" He orders her, pointing at her body that he's now carrying behind his back like a piggyback. Layla barks in agreement, dropping her barrier. Natsumi blinks but smiles, flying right to her body and actually enters it.
Immediately, Natsumi's eyes open up and she gasps loudly for fresh air. Her face turns red as her arms are held tightly around Tsukasa's shoulders, blushing happily before she yells at him. "What took you so long?!"
Tsukasa just smirks, putting her down as Natsumi feels herself, relieved that she's alive again.
''JIGGLY!'' Jigglypuff cries out, flying and embracing Natsumi, crying out as she might have lost her favorite audience listener. She blushes warmly, hugging the pink puffy fairy.
Takeru approaches his father, blushing as tears drip from his eyes and not only his but Ryu's too.
"Takeru…" He utters out as does the son. "Oto-san…"
The two just look at each other with Takeru still unsure how to approach this until Ryu reaches out and hugs him. Takeru blushes warmly, embracing him back.
Tsukasa sees this and actually smiles before glaring at the Gammaizer who is thrusted back by Dragonic.
"Hey, Gammaizer." The monster turns its head to Tsukasa who walks up beside the purple dragon, asking it. "Can your high-intelligent mind understand emotions?"
The Gammaizer just looks at him, not following.
Tsukasa points at the reunited father and son as he proclaims. "See, us, humans; we have such things that make us angry, fearful, courageous, stupid and most importantly, love. Emotions are not a flaw or a weakness; it's what gives us greater power. And if such emotions can result in these results, then humanity isn't doomed either. These people can change through their feelings and trust to overcome doubt.''
He soon curls his lips into a smirk, mocking the superior monster. "That is what makes humanity special and why we can evolve. And we'll continue to evolve through our feelings while monsters like you will degrade and be no more!''
"…'' Silent, the Gammaizer studies this man and comes to a conclusion. ''… You are not human. What are you?"
Smirking again, Tsukasa pulls out his Decade Rider Card, tapping on it twice in front of it before answering. "I'm a passing-through Kamen Rider. Remember it!"
Ryu watches him, certain he can't fight the Gamma alone. He then notices the Eyecon that Takeru has and realizes that maybe… no but- No, he must believe in his son.
"Takeru, have you seen me transform?" He asks his son, certain that he's been a ghost all this time. Takeru eyes him and blushes, nodding softly. Ryu smiles as he expresses. "I thought I failed you but you're the one who grew stronger. More than I.''
"Oto-san…" Takeru utters as his father straps on his second Ghost Driver around his son's waist. He blinks in surprise as his Eyecon glows in response and realizes what he has to do.
Takeru looks back at his father and nods, going strong like him. He walks up beside Tsukasa and asks him. "Please let me help you. I owe Oto-san and Natsumi-chan."
Tsukasa eyes the boy and smiles, accepting his help. "Let's go, Takeru."
Takeru smiles as he slams the palm of his hand on the button of his Eyecon before he slides it inside his Ghost Driver. He soon pulls the lever as a similar ghost hoodie coat manifests out of the belt, this time orange and black.
''AYE! WATCH THIS~! WATCH THIS~!" The Ghost Driver begins to announce as the ghost hoodie flies around Takeru while Tsukasa thrusts in a Rider Card.
"KAMEN RIDE!" The Decadriver announces as the two shout with Takeru slapping the front of the belt. "Henshin!"
"EYES OPEN! IT'S ME!" The Ghost Driver announces as his body glows tall and older while wearing a similar full body outfit to Ryu but orange. "LET'S GO! DEADSET! G-G-GHOST!" The coat comes down and wears itself on him, changing his face plate to a round black spooky orange face with one horn over his head. "GO! GO! GO! GO!" Ghost then pulls down his hoodie, posing strongly.
''DECADE!" The Decadriver announces as Tsukasa also becomes Decade, wiping his hands together.
Ryu watches with a smile, astonished that his father can actually transform.
''Humans will never evolve. They will die." The Gammaizer declares, unleashing shockwaves at the two who quickly dodge them by dashing to the sides and then charge at the monster. Decade delivers a punch that goes through the Gammaizer but not Ghost's kick and then follows it by a forearm bash.
"I don't accept that!" Ghost declares as the Gammaizer unleashes a sonic blast that Ghost braces himself. He grunts but he pushes forward
"I also believe in humanity's faith to grow and evolve!" Ghost begins to declare, walking forward and even though he struggles; he will not back down. "We are scared beings but our ability to move forward…" His body erupts in burning as he pushes back the Gammaizer's power. "Will burn our souls as brightly as the sun!"
Ryu watches with a smile, awe by his son. The Ride Booker glows as multiple cards pop out which Decade catches and sees the card to end this.
"My thoughts exactly." Decade agrees as he thrusts the card into the belt, pushing its levers forward.
"FINAL FORM RIDE!" The Decadriver announces as Decade gets behind Ghost and warns him, reaching his hands into his back. "This might tickle." Ghost, gasping, is suddenly altered and changes before becoming a ghost hoodie coat. The Gammaizer tries to attack them but the coat attacks it with swift strikes, knocking it back before it somersaults upward and comes down over Decade, wearing him as his body glows. Decade's outfit gains orange lining similar to Ghost as well the Eyecon symbol on his chest but the eye has the Decade symbol. He gains rectangle-like shoulder pieces sticking out and a rectangle horn on his forehead. "GHOST!"
Decade adjusts the hoodie cloak, snickering. "Let's go."
The Gammaizer charges but Decade suddenly vanishes before its eyes, having turned invisible but the monster swings at Decade only for its hand to hit through him, having gone invisible. This shocks the monster until it's bash across the face by Decade, so strong that it launches it backwards with sparks flying out. Decade then vanishes and reappears behind the Gammaizer, performing a backward, somersault kick that connects and launches the monster into the wall, more sparks flying out.
Decade holds up a Rider Card and tosses it into his belt.
"ATTACK RIDE! ILLUSION!" The Decadriver announces as 4 Decade copies manifest and they all fade away like ghosts. One reappears, uppercutting the Gammaizer into the air as another duplicate roundhouse kicks the monster even higher, then another appears and punches him to the far right and the fourth duplicate appears right above it and downward ax-kicks it downward.
"This… is… illogical." The Gammaizer utters in confusion, his senses and focus unstable.
"No, this is reality." Decade proclaims, dunking a rider card. "Now it's time for your unemotional existence to feel fear!" He jumps up high.
"FINAL ATTACK RIDE!" The Decadriver announces as Decade is actually flying up above the Gammaizer as a glowing Eyecon symbol appears behind his back, glowing in a magenta color. It then flows into him as he takes on a Rider Kick pose and flies right towards the stunned Gammaizer, kicking it at full power. "GHOST!"
The Gammaizer doesn't even scream upon this pain, its body cracking, before Decade kicks right through it and soon the monster explodes into nothing. Decade wipes his hands together as his body glows and Ghost reverts back to normal, breathing heavily. People saw this and are speechless, not sure how to feel after all they've done but… could they have been wrong?
"Not bad, kid." Decade comments as he reverts back. Tsukasa eyes Natsumi and gives her a thumbs up. Natsumi just smiles brightly.
Watching from afar, Doctor Shinigami snickers rather impressed.
''Not bad, Decade.'' He proclaims, applauding to Decade's skills in besting the Gammaizer and saving the girl.
"He did quite well smooch~!" Kiva-la responds, hovering around the Fangire. Though, she does stare at Natsumi, more impressed how well she held on being a ghost and not dying. Very inhuman of her, she thought.
The group slowly walks back to Hikari Studio while Natsumi stretches her arms, happy to be "alive" and not a ghostly spirit. She notices that Tsukasa is staring a photo that he took, showing the image of Takeru reunited with his father and both smiling. He oddly smiles about it, thinking that it's nice to have a family.
''Guess now people will start to change their views.'' Sougo expresses, hoping this will be the wake-up-call with how they apologized to Ryu and Takeru.
"Who wouldn't when their hero is a ghost.'' Tsukasa responds with a small smirk. Natsumi smiles, uttering out happily. "And Takeru-kun will show everyone that."
Tsukasa eyes her and smiles as he tells her. "You're the one who taught him what strength is, Natsumi."
Natsumi eyes him and blushes warmly. She reaches out with her right hand and tells him joyfully. ''Let's go, Tsukasa-kun! To the next world!"
Tsukasa eyes her and smiles, agreeing until he tells her. ''Just one more thing." He turns his head to the corner. ''Why don't you come out so we can start this brawl, kid?"
Natsumi blinks, not following as she turns to that direction and walking out is the young man from before- OH! Natsumi widens her eyes, now understanding it.
"I don't want to fight you, Tsukasa-san." Takeru expresses with a frown, not comfortable about this but he explains himself. "But I have to. I was told to come here after what Dark Decade did to my world."
Natsumi startles heavily, questioning him. "Wait, he's conquered your world already."
"I had a feeling as much." Tsukasa replies, having a hunch that his evil half has accelerated his conquest.
"Why fight Tsukasa then?" Natsumi then asks, finding this so unaware. Tsukasa has already beaten 6 Riders. There's no point doing more of this. Takeru frowns, feeling the same exact way but he does say why. "I was told if I did, it would help Tsukasa-san defeat Dark Decade."
Again, Tsukasa assumes the same way just like he has done with the other Riders.
"Then I guess you have to trust your faith on me and fight me, kid.'' Tsukasa declares with a smirk, placing his trust onto him. Takeru smiles a bit before nodding. "I will." He soon focuses and manifests his Ghost Driver. He pulls out his Eyecon, stomping the button as he slides it into his belt.
''AYE! WATCH THIS~! WATCH THIS~!" The Ghost Driver chants as the ghost hoodie coat manifests, twirling around Takeru as he takes on his signature pray-like hand pose.
Tsukasa smirks as he straps on the Decadriver and taps on a Rider Card before dunking it into his belt.
"KAMEN RIDE!" The Decadriver begins to announce until both shout loudly. "Henshin!" Tsukasa thrusts the levers while Takeru pulls the lever and slaps the front of his belt.
''DECADE!" The Decadriver announces as he transforms into Decade.
"EYES OPEN! IT'S ME!" The Ghost Driver announces as Takeru's body glows and wears the full body suit as the ghost hoodie descends and wears itself on him, changing him into Ghost. "LET'S GO! DEADSET! G-G-GHOST!" Ghost slowly pulls down his hoodie. "GO! GO! GO! GO!"
Not wasting time, Decade comes charging in with a swing of his right punch at Ghost who suddenly vanishes and reappears, moving like a ghost, before he punches Decade back. It bashes Decade forward as Ghost reappears in his front and then vanishes back on his back to confuse him. Decade twirls and swings a kick but hits the air. Ghost once more vanishes and reappears behind him, kicking him across the back and thrusts him away.
"Just like the Gammaizer!" Natsumi utters in shock. Decade pulls out the Ride Booker and proceeds to fire at him but Ghost just moves around like a ghost, evading them with little difficulty to his shock. He switches into sword form, coming at him with a swing but Ghost fades in and out, evading the attacks without trying.
''Absol?!'' Layla barks in dismay, questioning how this is a thing. Even Dragonic is puzzled, responding. ''Yea, Ghost normally doesn't fight like this?''
''Well because this is the version of Ghost that fights like this.'' Sougo proclaims, almost aware of this "change". The dragon eyes him, almost serious and silent before he shouts at Tsukasa. ''Never mind! Adapt, Tsukasa-kun!''
Decade is forced to pull back before Ghost can kick him, responding. ''A step ahead of you, kid.'' He holds up a Rider Card and dunks it into his belt.
''KAMEN RIDE! KIVA!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade changes into Kiva. Ghost vanishes but this time as he reappears, Decade-Kiva thrust kicks his right foot across Ghost's chest and actually damages him; slamming him into the wall. Decade wipes his hands before he comes at Ghost and delivers a punch, blasting him through the other side of the wall.
"Nice one Tsukasa-kun!" Dragonic shouts at him with a smirk.
Ghost crashes onto the ground and rolls upward, panting. He pulls out a deep red Eyecon, gripping on it tightly as he utters out. ''Help me, Oto-san.'' He presses on the button and thrusts it into his belt.
"READY TO FIGHT!" The Ghost Driver announces as Ghost pulls the lever. "AYE! WATCH THIS~! WATCH THIS~!" Suddenly a red, black ghost hoodie coat manifests, followed by flames surrounding Ghost.
"FIGHTING EYES OPEN! BOOST!" The Ghost Driver announces as it overlaps the hoodie onto Ghost and changes his appearance. "I AM BOOST! THE RUMBLING GHOST!" He pulls down his hoodie. "GO, FIGHT! GO, FIGHT! GO, GO!"
Ghost charges back, disappearing in flames before reappearing and swings a punch that Decade-Kiva counters with his. Dark and flames collided as the two riders keep attacking the other with swift punches and kicks, either evading the other or clashing against the other's attacks.
Decade-Kiva pulls back, snickering as he praises him. "Not bad."
Ghost, coming at Decade, manifests in flames the Sunglasseslasher, swinging it at Decade who barely dodges around the swings as he pulls back. He pulls out a rider card and slides it into his belt.
''FORM RIDE!'' The Decadriver proclaims as Kiva begins to change form. ''KIVA GARURU!'' Wiping his hands, Decade-Kiva changes into the sword blue Kiva form.
He swings and reflects Ghost's sword swing as he slashes him across the chest twice before doing a roundhouse kick that knocks him backwards.
"But not good enough." Decade announces, thrusting another card into his belt
''FORM RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as he pushes the handles and transforms. ''KIVA BASSHAA!'' Decade-Kiva changes into the gun green Kiva form, twirling the green bubble-like weapon. He takes aim and immediately unleashes rapid fire of bubbles that Ghost slashes each one but soon finds himself sticky as the bubbles' liquid makes the ground sticky. Decade-Kiva skates on the liquid and slashes him again while firing another barrage of shots.
Sparks fly out as Ghost flies and hits a tree, grunting as he drops hard on the ground.
''Is that all you got, kid?'' Decade taunts him with a snicker. Ghost breathes as he pulls the lever of the belt.
"FIGHTING EYES WIDE OPEN!" The Ghost Driver announces as the Eyecon symbol manifests behind him as he leaps upward, performing a Rider Kick. "BOOST! OMEGA DRIVE!''
Decade-Kiva tosses both weapons aside as he dunks another card into his belt.
''FORM RIDE!'' The Decadriver declares as Kiva changes forms once more. ''KIVA DOGGA!'' Decade-Kiva now turns into the hammer purple Kiva form. He times it and swings it as Ghost kicks his swinging weapon but the massive hammer literally throws Ghost into a wall, repelling his kick.
"Was that all?" Decade taunts him, slamming the hammer on the ground. Panting, Ghost stands back up, reverted back to base form.
"N-not even close." Ghost protests, not giving up yet. "I wish to show you…'' He pulls out a unique Eyecon with a T shaped-like shape. ''The power I gained from my friends and in my faith in humanity's potential!" He inserts it into his belt as the rectangle part is sticking out before he pulls the lever.
''INFINITE EVOLUTION!'' The Ghost Driver announces as a white hoodie, a long coat manifests with an orange line. ''AYE! LOOK UPON THIS~! LOOK UPON THIS~!'' Decade soon stomps the front of the belt, triggering its power. ''SUPREME EYES OPEN! MUGEN!''
The ghost twirls around Ghost followed by multiple white feathers. His full body outfit gains white sparkling arm, leg and chest thin armor pieces before the ghost hoodie wears itself on Ghost, becoming a long coat with armor shoulder pads and front pads. The top of Ghost's helmet has inverted colors: Black face but orange eyes. It also gains a rainbow transparent visor-like piece that covers over the eyes with a rainbow colored horn. "KEEP ON GOING! GO-GO-GO! GO-GO-GO! GOTTA GHOST!" Swirls of white feathers blow all over him as Ghost stands calmly.
Decade scoffs as he comes charging. Ghost, slowly pulling down his hoodie, stands there as Decade-Kiva swings his hammer but Ghost catches it with ease. This shocks the rider as Ghost leans in front and performs an arm bash and it launches Decade backwards with sparks flying out.
Rolling upward, Decade-Kiva takes aim with the hammer and fires a sphere of energy he swings at him but Ghost kicks it and the sphere shatters into nothing.
"A-awesome!" Natsumi expresses how amazing that kick was. This is Ghost's true power!
Decade already realized he cannot win if he uses the Super Form Ride of Kiva. Instead, he'll challenge Ghost's human potential with his own.
''So this is your belief." Decade proclaims as he reverts to base form as he swaps the Decadriver with the K-Touch, tapping on the screen to activate it.
"KUUGA, AGITO, RYUKI, FAIZ, BLADE, HIBIKI, KABUTO, DEN-O, KIVA!'' The K-Touch announces one by one of each main rider's names as their logos glow until they all flash, including the Decade one. Decade then presses on the F letter on the screen. ''FINAL KAMEN RIDE!''
"Then I'll show you mine." Decade declares, not going to lose as he transforms into his final form. ''DECADE! COMPLETE!''
Decade soon dashes as does Ghost, once more clashing fists with streams of white and magenta energies colliding.
"Human potential is limitless!" Ghost declares passionately with Decade taunting him with a hand taunt. "Prove me then, kid."
The two begin performing and clashing kicks and punches, sparks of their energies colliding over and over. The others watch astonished as they almost look evenly matched but Dragonic knows better; Tsukasa is enjoying himself.
Clashing once more and it pushes them backwards, Decade taps on a Rider Card and dunks it into his belt.
''FINAL KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade transforms into Kiva's final form. ''KIVA EMPEROR!''
Ghost dashes at him as a bright light but Decade-Kiva counters with red-black energy, dashing right back at him. The two trails of light clash and swirl around the area until Decade manifests with multiple kicks, beating down Ghost over and over before doing a roundhouse kick that launches him through a light pole, hitting the ground hard.
The others watch as Ghost grunts, standing back up but wobbly.
"I can't… lose yet…" Uttering out, thinking of his friends, Ghost immediately pulls the levers of his belt.
''SUPREME EYES WIDE OPEN!'' The Ghost Driver announces as Ghost does his signature hand pose while being lifting upward in the air. The Eyecon symbol forms but now with a large orange glowing infinite symbol surrounding it.
"No matter what with no regrets, my life will always burn bright!" Ghost declares passionate, never going to doubt in how he should live his life. Decade watches and snickers as he dunks a Rider Card into his belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as the magenta rider responds. "Then I'll respond in kind.'' He leaps forward, performing a two leg Rider Kick as large, sharp bladed wings manifests on the back of the legs. ''KIVA!''
''MUGEN! GOD OMEGA DRIVE!'' The Ghost Driver announces as Ghost leaps forward, performing his own Rider Kick with all his energy added around him. The two connect and collide their kicks, streams of energy flying out between them. Everyone braces themselves as the energies become unstable and create a light-dark explosion. They all brace themselves, holding their ground.
The shine of white and black dies out as Decade lands on the ground first, wiping his hands while Ghost crashes onto the ground. Breathing heavily, Decade turns as he reverts to normal.
''Huff… so that's your potential." He utters out, turning around to see Takeru, on the ground, before he forms a small smile. "I respect you as a naïve kid, Takeru."
''… Thank you, Tsukasa-san.'' Takeru responds with a small laugh, groaning as his body begins to glow. He knows this feeling, never a fan of it.
"Don't keep me dead for too long, okay? I want to have dinner back home." He asks of Tsukasa, not wanting to stay like this again.
Tsukasa oddly cracks a smirk, going to keep that promise. Takeru just smiles, leaving his faith in humanity to his hands as his body erupts and becomes sparks of light.
"… Let's go." Uttering out as he has a promise to keep, Tsukasa declares as he walks away with the others back to the studio. He eyes Natsumi and he asks her, curious. ''How did it feel being a ghost, Natsumikan?''
''Never want to experience that ever again.'' Natsumi responds, never wanting to do that ever. Tsukasa smirks, agreeing. Dragonic eyes her though, concerned how well she lasted without her body. A normal human would have lost their body for that long and even though he was there to not prevent it; her body suffered no physical or mental damage. How? Could it be…?
Still watching them, Doctor Shinigami observes until he walks away. His plans here were a failure but his discovery was better than anything. He snickers evilly, uttering out. ''Soon…'' As he enters an Aurora Curtain he is summoned with a device. ''Soon we'll be together.''
Author's Note: Time to clarify things:
1) This is now full on Fanfic territory, using elements from the Decade series from the TV Series, Movies and even Novels (which I already used so yea).
2) … Ghost wasn't… so bad. It had a decently good pace, some good fight scenes and good rider designs… but boy a lot of problems, more than Wizard. While Wizard lacked a focused evil organization or group of interesting monsters with the Phantoms (minus the main trio of Phoenix, Medusa and Gremlin), Ghost had HONESTLY really weak and BAD villains. Like Alain's brother is a dick but geez, he's so… bland, uninterested. For a main villain, his ideals are lacking and he's weak without the Gammaziers. Like the movie had his other brother who was Dark Ghost and he WAS way MORE impressive and his goals! Plus, it doesn't help that the Gammaziers, the most unemotional evolved monsters, would become the actual main villains in their merged form. And not to mention how Ghost's fighting and spooky factor was removed from the Drive main movie which was a real shame. The majority of the characters were… mid and even the main plot felt good paced but also… meh. It's a real shame because Ghost had a lot of things going good for it but none made it feel grand like other rider shows. It's only charm are the Eyecon Spirits and the trials Takeru, Makoto and Alain went. It's almost the reverse with Saber (because the director of Ghost is the same for Saber): Story is decent and fight scenes too but the gimmicks aren't special (except Primitive and Almighty) and the Saber main movie (the one after the series end) sucks SO MUCH. If one day I decide to talk about Saber, the Sin Movie is crap for just the reason it became a thing.
3) Takeru-Takeru-Takeru… he's Naruto. He's Naruto. Like he's Naruto Uzumaki LIGHT. Even then, he is very friendly. So yea, he's yea. Not so bad, not even the worst. There is NO WORST main rider, not even Shinji. And yes. Shinji Kido is an idiot... but he's our idiot. I just didn't like his death... or Eiji's... or Tsukasa's the second time but we'll talk about THAT one another time.
4) Honestly, I didn't have a clue what to do with the A.R. World of Ghost so I didn't bother with it much and made it focus mainly on Natsumi. Like you can call it a successor to the events of the World of Black and Black RX in Decade… BUT BETTER since here, Natsumi was put into danger and tried to do her best to pull herself and A.R. Takeru out of it. No regrets.
5) Giving Tsukasa another moment of him being the Destroyer of Worlds is rather interesting. Remember, he and the Great Leader aren't so different if they swap paths. Luckily, the difference are the friends/comrades they have. Like Dragonic or even Daiki who you guys can imagine doesn't like the other Tsukasa, at all.
6) Interesting how Natsumi was targeted by the Genmazier who goes after those not human. HMM.
7) Or why Doctor Shinigami was angry at the monster for even attacking her. HMM!
8) And yes, I made it UNIQUE that Ghost riders and monsters are like ghosts, nearly unaffected by almost all attacks unless specific attacks like magical, spiritual, supernatural or ghost users. I felt like it. Might as well. I mean Zi-O did something like this, sort of.
… A.R. World of Ghost was okay, moving on.
Apologizes about last week. It was not... good. Long-LONG story I don't want to talk about it.
