Under the warm Mediterranean sun, the yacht gently rocked on the azure waves. Mia stretched out on a comfortable lounger, her dark sunglasses perched on her nose, her bronzed skin glistening with sunscreen.
"We should get drunk, get high, do something," Mia exclaimed with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
Theo and Jace exchanged knowing glances, pushing their sunglasses down the bridges of their noses and propping themselves up on their elbows. Theo, with his jet black hair and a perpetual smirk, was the first to respond. "We should get what, Star?" he asked, feigning innocence.
Mia smirked back at Theo, her lips curling into a sly smile. "You heard what I said," she replied coyly.
Jace, his blond hair ruffled by the sea breeze, joined in with a smirk of his own. He sauntered over to Mia, playfully plopping his head onto her legs, looking up at her with a teasing grin. "Planning on cheating on me, princess?" he teased.
Mia chuckled and gave Jace a playful slap on the arm. "I'm faithful to you, Romeo baby," she replied with a wink.
The nicknames "Juliet" and "Romeo" had been bestowed upon Mia and Jace by the press after a wild night of partying. As a joke, Mia had suggested they fake a make-out session to throw off the paparazzi, resulting in photos of Jace with disheveled hair and smudged lipstick on his neck, and Mia looking equally disheveled splashed across national TV. Now, they were stuck with the nicknames.
Theo feigned disgust, leaning over the yacht's railing as if he were about to be sick. "Can you two stop with the gooey display? There's no cameras around"
Jace smirked, his eyes dancing with mischief. "Scooter boy, shut up."
As an inside joke, Mia and Jace had gifted Theo a blue scooter for his fifteenth birthday, complete with a Union Jack sticker that read "I'm a London Boy." It was a playful reminder of the summer Theo had been chased by the Positano police.
Theo laughed mockingly and shot back, "At least I can drive."
Jace playfully flipped him the bird and declared, "Next year, I'm starting driving lessons."
Theo, his memory jogged, turned to Mia. "So, where do you want to go partying?" he asked, a glint of anticipation in his eyes.
Mia's smirk grew wider as she leaned forward, "Grab your things boys; we're going to Mykonos."
With their parents' blessings, Mia, Theo, and Jace embarked on their Mykonos adventure the very next day, making a promise they knew they would likely break – not to cause too much of a scandal. Despite their intentions, everyone who knew them well understood that trouble was bound to follow wherever this trio went. However, Mia's parents were relieved to see their daughter and her friends beginning to enjoy life again, especially after the somber occasion of Jace's grandmother's funeral.
Their journey to Mykonos was swift and enchanting, thanks to an international portkey that transported them directly to the luxurious villa their parents had rented for the week. The villa stood as a beacon of elegance and comfort amidst the stunning Greek landscape.
Nestled within a vast, private estate, the villa was surrounded by lush Mediterranean gardens. Tall palm trees swayed gently in the sea breeze, their fronds rustling softly, providing a soothing serenade to the three friends as they approached the entrance.
The driveway leading to the villa was a tunnel of vibrant bougainvillea, with vibrant shades of fuchsia and purple that contrasted beautifully against the villa's gleaming white walls. It was as though they were entering a paradise hidden from the world.
The villa itself was a masterpiece of Cycladic architecture, a symphony of white that glistened brilliantly under the relentless Greek sun. It featured multiple terraces and balconies that offered breathtaking panoramic views of the endless expanse of the deep blue sea and the neighboring islands. An infinity pool, seamlessly blending with the horizon, beckoned them to unwind on comfortable sun loungers, promising hours of relaxation under the Mykonos sun.
As they entered the villa's interior, their awe only deepened. The décor effortlessly blended modern luxury with traditional Greek aesthetics. Vaulted ceilings, adorned with wooden beams, soared above them, imparting a sense of grandeur and authenticity. Cool marble floors provided a respite from the warm sun outside, soothing their feet as they explored.
The main living room, with its floor-to-ceiling windows that opened onto the shimmering sea, was a visual marvel. Designer furniture and contemporary works of art adorned the space, creating an atmosphere of sophistication and comfort. It was clear that no expense had been spared to ensure that their stay on this idyllic island was nothing short of extraordinary.
Theo couldn't help but let out a low whistle as he wandered through the villa's impressive rooms. "This place is pretty impressive," he remarked, taking in the opulent surroundings.
Meanwhile, Jace, ever the provider of good times, decided it was time to kick off their Mykonos adventure in style. He uncorked a bottle of champagne in the spacious kitchen, expertly handling the bubbly liquid, and then carried it to the dining room along with three delicate flute glasses.
As Mia and Theo joined him, Jace couldn't resist asking, "So, princess, what's the plan for tonight?"
Mia, a mischievous glint in her eye, left her champagne glass on the table and turned to face her friends. With a sly smile, she revealed her daring plan. "We're going to crash a party."
Theo raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. "Whose party are we crashing?"
Mia's response was nonchalant as she casually dropped a name. "Tino's party."
Jace, frowning slightly, sought clarification. "Tino? Who's Tino?"
Mia offered a simple explanation. "Tino is Agostino Necci."
Theo, clearly amused by Mia's audacity, couldn't resist teasing her. "Why on earth do you want to crash Necci's party?"
Mia, with a playful twinkle in her eye, shrugged. "I like Tino. He's handsome."
Jace, in mock despair, couldn't help but quip, "You're going to cheat on me with Tino?"
Mia chuckled, "Don't worry, Romeo. Before the clock strikes twelve tonight, I'll kiss Tino, and that's it."
Theo, still curious about their evening plans, interjected, "So, what are we going to do while you're busy fucking Necci?"
Mia grabbed a nearby cushion and playfully smacked Theo with it. "I'm not going to sleep with Tino, you goof."
Jace, never one to miss an opportunity for humor, chimed in, "Well, it's ugly to eat in front of hungry people, princess."
Mia laughed and then turned to her friends with a mischievous grin. "You two can find someone to have fun with while I work my magic with Tino."
In the heart of the enchanting Greek island of Mykonos, nestled along the turquoise shores of the Aegean Sea, a magical event was about to unfold. The island was famous for its vibrant nightlife, but tonight, it was hosting a different kind of spectacle: "Elysian Nights," the most anticipated Greek White Summer Party of the year.
The venue was a stunning beachfront villa, surrounded by lush palm trees and adorned with dazzling white decorations. As the golden sun dipped below the horizon, the villa's courtyard came to life with the laughter and chatter of excited teenagers, all dressed in pristine white attire.
The entrance was marked by a grand arch of white roses and billowing white curtains, which gently fluttered in the evening breeze. At the door, guests received leis made of fragrant jasmine flowers, and the scent of citrus and sea salt lingered in the air.
When the trio arrived at their destination, the party was in full swing. The courtyard was transformed into an oasis of pure elegance. Crisp white linens adorned long tables, each one illuminated by delicate candlelight and shimmering fairy lights strung between palm trees. Oversized white cushions were scattered around, creating cozy nooks for conversation.
The centerpiece of the party was the massive dance floor, surrounded by a water feature that twinkled with floating candles. Greek statues and columns adorned with ivy and white roses added to the party's classical charm. A massive white gazebo housed a DJ booth, where a talented DJ spun a mix of international and Greek hits that had everyone moving to the rhythm.
At the heart of the courtyard was a long, illuminated bar serving an array of refreshing cocktails, including the beloved Greek ouzo and the island's signature drink, a Mykonos Mule. For those preferring non-alcoholic options, fresh fruit juices and mocktails were readily available.
"You guys, for my sixteenth birthday, I want to have a white party," Jace announced.
Mia turned around, her eyebrows raised in curiosity as she looked at both of them. "Whatever you may need, just talk through the bond," she said, "but only if it's an emergency."
Theo cautiously asked , "Are you carrying your wand, Star?"
Mia shook her head, her expression serious. "No, Teddy, this party is full of muggles. We need to keep our magic hidden."
Jace, his concern evident, turned to Mia and asked, "But what if something happens? How will you defend yourself?"
Mia gave them a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, guys. We can use non-verbal magic if needed." With that, Mia left, her steps blending seamlessly among the people.
Theo turned to Jace, a hint of worry still on his face, and asked, "Are you carrying your wand?"
Jace nodded and lifted his pant leg slightly to reveal the wand strapped to his calf. "Always prepared," he said with a grin."Are you carrying yours?"
Theo tapped his left arm, indicating that he had concealed his wand there. "Of course," he replied.
Jace's determination was clear, "We're not letting Mia out of our sight all night. I don't like Necci."
Amidst the crowd of people, Mia's keen eyes spotted Tino, looking incredibly handsome in his white linen shirt and pants. Her heart skipped a beat at the sight of him.
As Tino noticed Mia, his face lit up with surprise and delight. He hurriedly made his way toward her, planting a kiss on each of her cheeks in a warm greeting.
Amid the thumping music, Tino leaned in close to Mia's ear and whispered, "You look stunning tonight."
Mia blushed, feeling her cheeks warm up, and leaned in closer to Tino's ear. She asked him, "Would you like to dance?"
Tino smiled and nodded, his eyes locked onto hers. "Lead the way," he said as Mia eagerly dragged him to the dance floor.
Meanwhile, Theo and Jace, their eyes scanning the dancefloor, noticed where Tino and Mia were dancing to the music.
Theo couldn't help but chuckle and remarked to Jace, "Looks like Mia has Tino wrapped around her finger."
Jace, equally amused, replied, "No doubt about it. She's definitely putting in the effort."
Theo and Jace clinked their glasses as they watched Mia and Tino snogging.
Breaking away from their kiss, Tino paused and asked Mia, "Would you like something to drink?"
Still blushing from their closeness, Mia nodded and replied, "I'll be waiting right here."
Mia couldn't help but feel her cheeks flush as she thought about the impulsive kiss she had shared with the boy she liked. She was clear that it was just for tonight, a bit of fun without any serious intentions. Tino was an attractive distraction, nothing more.
Her eyes lit up when she spotted Tino approaching with two glasses filled with a clear liquid and ice. His innocent smile as he handed her one of the glasses made her heart race.
Curious, Mia looked at the glass and asked Tino, "What is this?"
Tino chuckled softly, his gaze fixed on her lips. "It's Greek ouzo, a typical drink from Mykonos," he replied.
Feeling a sudden daring streak, Mia downed the drink in one gulp. However, the effects hit her faster and harder than she had anticipated. Dizziness washed over her, and her concern grew.
She looked at Tino with a hint of panic in her eyes and stammered, "What was in that drink?"
Tino's smile took on a sinister edge, and he replied casually, "Just a little sugar, sweetheart."
Mia's head spun as she frantically scanned the room, searching for Jace and Theo to help her. Desperation in her eyes, she tried to mentally reach out to Jace.
But Tino leaned in close, his voice low and chilling, and whispered, "Stop looking around. your little bodyguards won't be coming to your rescue."
Just as despair started to creep over Mia, a threatening voice from behind Tino. "You're wrong about that." The lights suddenly went out, plunging the room into darkness.
Theo stood at the bar, placing an order for two whiskeys—one for himself and one for Jace. He thanked the waiter as the glasses were set before him. Just as he was about to turn away, a sudden grip on his shirt collar startled him. Jace had appeared at his side, his expression urgent.
Turning to Jace and taking a sip of his whiskey, Theo asked, "What's going on?"
Jace's voice was filled with concern as he pushed people out of his way, "Mia's in trouble."
Theo, grabbing Jace's whiskey and downing it in a gulp, asked, "Where is she?"
Jace shook his head, worry etched on his face. "I don't know for sure, but she reached out to me through the Parabatai bond."
Being taller than Jace, Theo scanned the room over the heads of the people, trying to catch a glimpse of Mia and Necci. Finally spotting them, Theo informed Jace, "They're over by the wall near the bathrooms."
With a dangerous glint in his eyes, Theo wasted no time. He moved swiftly through the crowd, drawing nearer to the scene where Necci had grabbed Mia. As he approached, he could hear Tino telling her that no one would come to help her.
Theo closed in on Tino from behind, his voice low and threatening as he whispered, "You're wrong about that." In one swift motion, Theo waved his hand to extinguish the lights, shrouding the area in darkness.
Back at the villa, the atmosphere was starkly different from the pulsating energy of the party. Jace was focused on calming Mia, who was still trembling from the ordeal. He had administered a Calming Draught potion and prepared a soothing lime blossom, placing it gently on the nightstand. With a wave of his hand, he transformed her party clothes into comfortable pajamas.
Mia clung to Jace, still visibly shaken from the events at the party. Jace's arms were a reassuring anchor as he whispered soothing words, "You're safe now.I'm not leaving your side, princess. You're not alone, and I'm here with you." He couldn't help but apologize, guilt gnawing at him. "I should have been more attentive at the party."
Mia's voice quivered as she replied, "Jace, it's not your fault. It's mine for accepting drinks from strangers."
Jace gently cupped her face with his hands, his eyes filled with reassurance. "No, princess, it's not your fault. It's Necci's fault, and he will pay for it. No one messes with my princess."
Mia's fear began to subside, and she mustered a weak smile. "Where's Teddy?" she asked
Jace smiled, "Theo is having some innocent 'fun' with Necci on the balcony."
A mischievous smile played on Mia's lips, and she whispered, "May him pay for what he did."
"We will,"Jace chuckled and, seeing a glimmer of her usual spirit returning, asked, "Will you be okay if I leave you alone for a little while? I can't leave all the fun to Teddy"
Mia nodded but quickly added, "Promise you'll come back and sleep with me after taking care of Necci?"
Jace leaned down, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead. "I promise, princess. I won't be gone long."
Theo was thoroughly enjoying the 'innocent fun' on the balcony, holding Necci by his feet over the railing as she begged him to let her go. Necci's pleas and pleas for him to let him go only seemed to amuse him further. He smirked as he listened to him beg.
With a chuckle, Theo released his foot, causing Necci to gasp in fear. He looked down at him and innocently remarked, "You asked to be let go, and that's exactly what I did."
Jace's voice interrupted their little game from behind Theo. "Having fun without me?" Jace inquired, his tone playful.
"Just warming up," Theo grinned mischievously while still holding onto Necci's foot, "How's Star doing?"
Jace leaned over the balcony railing, looking down at Necci. "She's calmer now, but told me that we should take care of your little plaything," he replied, his eyes narrowing.
Theo laughed and leaned out over the railing to address Necci, "Hear that, Tino? Mia said that Jace and I are going to take care of you."
Jace, with feigned good intentions, instructed Theo to bring Necci up. Theo complied, although he grumbled about how they could have just sent Necci to "take a dip with the sharks."
As Necci sat on the balcony floor, he thanked Jace for not killing him. Jace's anger flared, and he spat out, "If it were up to me, you'd be returning to London in tea cookie boxes."
Suddenly, Necci's eyes widened, and he pointed behind Jace, "What's…Why is there a wolf here?"
Jace chuckled knowing it was Thep and explained, "That's not just any wolf, Necci. The direwolf you see is Theo."
Necci nervously inquired if they were going to kill him. Jace laughed heartily and said, "Well, you dared to lay your hands on Mia with intentions other than worshiping the ground she walks on, and Theo wasn't too thrilled by that. Plus, you dared to imply that Theo and I wouldn't come to rescue her."
Theo approached Necci with a menacing air, causing Necci to cry and desperately beg, "Please, please, I won't do it again. Please tell him to stop."
Mockingly, Jace told Necci, "No, matter of fact I think I'll let you and Theo have a little chat about consent." while he turned around and headed inside the villa. "Don't bother to scream for help, unlike Mia nobody is going to come help you."
As Necci realized he had been left alone with Theo, his screams for help fell on deaf ears. The last thing he saw before his vision blurred were Theo's furious violet eyes and glistening white fangs.
