Note: Just wanted to give you fair warning that Cayleigh will be put through the ringer with bashing but i PROMISE she will be okay in the end as i have a good plan. And an old friend will return to help her.

Cobra's Lair...Mariner Bay

Tommy groaned as he felt a blow to his stomach. The four rangers were chained to the wall with their arms above their heads.

"You alright?" Ethan managed to ask the black ranger as he himself was panting. Tommy nodded. "Where are we?"

"I don't know but i want out". Kira spoke up. "Like now".

Ryan looked around. He remembered this place all too well and it scared him to the core. "We're in the cobra's lair, the lair where i defeated my curse".

"Silence!" Morbius yelled grabbing the collar of Ryan's shirt. "You destroyed my son".

"Morbius show yourself you coward!" A voice yelled from outside. "Excellent"

"Whos that?" Kira asked as he left them alone.

"I don't know but i am not waiting to find out". Tommy said determined pulling on his chains. Movement caught his attention. "About time".

"Sorry. Hang on I will get you guys down". Carter told them. "Conner is doling off the drones".

Once Carter got them free they followed him out. "Carter go help Conner we got Morbius". Ryan told his friend.

"Uh about that, we have a problem". Carter whispered looking at Tommy. "Tommy there is something you need to know".

"What is it?"

"Tommy, Cayleigh isn't actually Cayleigh, long story short but she tapped into Moya. Look I will explain but right now we need to help Conner". Tommy nodded and followed him out.

"That's enough!" Conner yelled. "Dino Thunder Power Up! ha!"

The four rangers joined him but stared in awe at the sight before them. "This gives me Final Fantasy Vibes" Ethan managed to say.

"Cayleigh?" Tommy whispered. His mind was racing. "What have you done?"

Two swards clashed head on as Morbius faced his familiar foe. "Oh Moya give up you know i am the better ninja."

"Your a traitor, instead of helping me become stonger you left me alone, you gave up on me!" Moya bellowed kicking kim back. "You cast me aside like trash. You will pay brother!"

Morbius dodged the icicles she sent his way as he sent his own. Moya backflipped out of the way.

Moya flew into the sky. She put her hands out sending a barrage of ice shaped bullets sending him crashing to the ground. "Pathetic".

Conner ran and kicked the snake back. He slashed him in the chest causing him to fall.

"Back off red ranger this doesn't concern you" Moya yelled sending and ice dagger at him. Kira helped him to his feet.

"Cayleigh stop!" Tommy pleaded.

"Sorry black ranger there is no one by that name here. Poor little Cayleigh is no more". She taunted kneeing him in the stomach.

Morbius waved a hand causing snakes to be thrown at them wrapping around their bodies.

"I can't move!" Kira cried.

Moya froze Ryan's arms and legs to the ground.

"ARGH!" Conner tried as the snake got tighter.

Moya laughed at her work. "Sister" She turned to her brother. "You are strong. This is silly. Why don't we join together and defeat these weaklings?"

"Brother your sure?"

"Off course, we can rule the earth along with Mesogog". Morbius spoke touching her shoulder.

"Why yes brother off course". Moya agreed. Morbius clicked his fingers causing the snakes to exploded causing the rangers to fly into the air demorphing as they landed.

The evil siblings grabbed each others hands. "I will not leave your side sister". Morbius promised as they both left through a green portal.

They rangers all huddled together. "Everyone all right?". Conner asked.

"Think so, except Kira got a cut on her calf". Ethan told him.

"I'll be fine" Kira responded leaning on Ryan. "Dr.O?"

Tommy stayed on his knees gripping the dirt. Kira limped over and knelt in front of him. "You okay?"

Tommy looked up at her. He always knew Kira was a hard ass but never saw her soft side. "Come on lets go home". She helped him up as Carter led him to his car. Kira wrapped her arm around Ryan's neck as he helped her walk.

Reefside...

"Okay i need to know what's going on right now!?" Tommy bellowed at the rangers in the room. "I'm waiting".

Conner got the nerve to step forward with Carter behind him. "Cayleigh told us the whole story of who Morbius is."

"I know who he is". Tommy interupted. "When i went to pick up her stuff i might have had a chat with Hunter Bradley".

" she was given until midnight to surrender her powers. She told us the only way to stop him was if she woke up Moya's true form". Conner explained.

"How do we get her back?" Tommy pushed. Conner and Carter went dead silent.

"We don"t"

Tommy glared daggers at Carter. "She told us the only way to free her is to destroy both her and Moya".

The room went dead silent. "No, there has got to be another way there always is". Tommy said trying to deny it.

"Tommy she accepted it. You know just as much as i do that she wouldn't want this." Hayley spoke softly to him touching his shoulder. He knew she was right. "Her dagger is the key to setting her free. I ran a scan on her during your fight. The white stone on her chest is her weak spot. You need to get the dagger through it".

"But Hayley its over her heart". Kira choked out. "It will kill her".

"I know Kira but its the only way to free both." Hayley said wiping a tear. "Cayleigh knew the chance she was taking and she is trusting each of you to free her from this nightmare".

Kira walked past them and left the room through the steps. Ryan followed her. Ethan collapsed in a chair next to Conner. Tommy and Carter went out the back entrance.

Kira began to sob to sat on Tommy's couch. Her body shaking. Ryan rushed and knelt in front of her. "Kira breathe girl, in and out". She gripped his forearms. After a minute she began to calm down.

"Thanks".

"Anytime".

"Thanks for fixing me up". She told him pointing to her leg.

"No problem. I am a firefighter and part time paramedic in Mariner Bay. Listen Kira you guys are exhausted. Here lie down". He told her gently as she laid on Tommy's couch. Kira was out as soon as her head hit the pillow. Ryan queezed her shoulder as he covered her up.

"How is she?" Ethan asked joining him.

"Her leg is fine but her brain and body are in overdrive. She's scared." Ryan answered him. "Look i know how you guys feel right now i was in Cay's position once but under a different influence so i know how much you want to help her, but you guys also need to rest".

"Cayleigh was right veteran rangers do have hearts. I always thought they were hardcore when it came to us younger rangers". Conner piped up.

Ryan smiled. "We can be but it takes a certain someone to bring us together. Cayleigh did that for me a long time ago. Go home and come back tomorrow with fresh eyes. Carter and I will see you tomorrow".

The young rangers nodded and left the house. Ryan sighed as Tommy shut the lab door.

"Is she alright?" Tommy asked quietly as he watched his yellow ranger sleep.

Ryan rubbed his eyes as Tommy handed him coffee. "I guess i really thought i knew how scared Dana was back then but seeing how scared they are especially Kira it really hits home".

"Yeah, the girls are getting close. Conner called her parents and said they were studying together so she can stay here". Tommy told him. "I am not losing my sister Ryan,i can't"

"I know and trust me I don't either. Look Carter might have an idea. Moya is a ice ninja right and since Cay i sher vessel is it possible to seperate the two. Call me crazy but if Cay is how Moya needs to survive then get Cay weak enough so Moya has to seperate her body from Cay's"

"How?"

"Fire melts ice. Expose her to excessive heat and pray i'm right".

Tommy nodded. "Lets do it."

Ryan grinned. "Look i took a shift in Reefside for a few days, Tommy i promise i will not leave until she is home safe. I better go before they fire me but i will see you tomorrow".

Tommy locked the door as Ryan left. Tommy looked to see Kira sitting up. "Sorry i fell asleep".

"Its okay. Look Conner called your parents and said you two were staying here to study so if you want you can stay here for the night. I know what your going through"

Kira relaxed as laid back down. "Thanks".

"Kira we may have a way to fix this. I'll explain it to all of you tomorrow". Tommy informed her patting her shoulder.

"You might want to be careful who you let in". They turned to the hallway. Tommy stood in front of Kira motioning for her to stay down. "Oh how careless you are"

"Moya" Tommy growled. "What do you want?" He demaned locking his brown eyes with the now silver eyes in his sister's body.

She cicled him. "Oh simple really, give me your gems and let Morbius and I rule the planet with Mesogog"

"Never!" Kira yelled standing up.

"Tsk Tsk, yellow ranger. Then you will just simply have to say goodbye to your friends". Moya said rubbing her hands together. "You know little Cay is still in here with me. I can hear her screams, i can hear her begging".

Tommy turned his hands into tight fists. "She fighting you"

"She is although i am alot stronger and once i am strong enough she will be no more unless you end her with the dagger which i know you have. Either way she will die in here". Moya taunted crossing her clicked her fingers and left the room.

"Kira send a signal to the others we are ending this. Tonight". Tommy told her as they both ran to the lab.
