the day after the Wedding Anne quickly ate her breakfast.

"Well you seem to be in a rush today." Marilla said as she watched Anne eat the rest of her Eggs, Buttered Toast and Tea like lightning. Anne blushed: "Sorry Marilla, I didn't mean to be so bad mannerly this morn-" the clock chimed ten. "oh goodness!" Anne yelped "I need to get ready fast!" "for what?" Mrs. Lynde asked as Marilla forked the last of her beacon. "um, an appointment?" Anne said still blushing. "you mean a walk with the young Handsome Mr. Blythe?" Marilla mused beginning to smile while Mrs. Lynde started coughing up her food from shock.

"Um yes." Anne said quietly her face red as her hair. "well you best get going!" Marilla said while padding Mrs. Lynde while she coughed up her food.

By one o'clock Anne sat at the Porch wearing a plain yet pretty Green dress when she saw Gilbert walk over, he was smiling a dazzling Smile. "Hello Anne." Gilbert said

"Hello Gil" Anne said back

"Shall we?" Gilbert held out his hand. although calm, he was looking at Anne in that dress, he had told her two years ago that she looked very nice in it.

"Yes" Anne replied noticing what he was looking at, she blushed.

as they walked down Hester Greys that beautiful day, they couldn't help but dart their Eyes at each other once every so often.

when they reached a bench they sat down, Both of them were silent for a moment until Anne said: "I think the land where dreams come true is in the blue haze yonder over that little vally."

Gilbert's turn: "Do you have any unfilled dreams Anne?"

"of course, everybody has, it wouldn't do for us to have all our dreams fulfilled, we would be as good as dead without them. I wish we could Smell Perfumes what a Delicious aroma just thinking about it!" Anne said

"I have a dream." Gilbert said "I dream of a house with a Hearth fire, a Dog and Cat, the sound of friends and You!"

Gilbert could see the excitement in Anne's face, he decided to press on slowly but steadily "I asked you a question two years ago Anne, if I asked you again... would you give me a different answer?"

Anne looked up at him, her eyes shining with all the love rapture of countless Generations, Gilbert needed no other Answer, but decided it was only appropriate to ask anyway.

He knelt down, Grabbed her hands and said "Anne-My Anne Girl-" he took a deep breath "Will-Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Anne was smiling now "yes" was all she could say. "yes?" Gilbert breathed as he got up to the bench. "yes" Anne repeated, sliding her arms through his and Grasping behind his back.

Gilbert Pulled her Close "you-" "I love you Gilbert." A stunned Gilbert said "I love you-"

their lips were so close. "Carrots" they kissed Gilbert's lips touched her pink ones.

they kissed deeper and deeper, Anne's mouth was sweet and Anne thought the same way with Gilbert's.

They stayed like that for almost a minute, then finally broke apart Gasping for air, they stared lovingly at each other. Gilbert finally asked "How long have you loved me?" Anne looked into his eyes "always" she said, Gilbert piped up "But the last time I Prop-" "that was a mistake Gilbert, I always loved you, even then, I just didn't see it at the time." She said Interrupting by putting her fingers to his lips

"Well" he said once Anne removed her fingers "when did you realize you loved me?" Anne's face fell "it was when I heard you were dying from typhoid, I was scared, I was worried, I said to myself that If you were to die that night I couldn't live on this earth." Anne said tears now sparkling in her eyes.

then she continued "I cried a prayer to God to Let you live-" Anne was sobbing now. "I was so ashamed, I wanted to tell you I was sorry, and that I was wrong." Anne couldn't say anymore. a wide-eyed Gilbert Melted his heart and Pulled her into a warm embrace as he let her sob into his clothes.

"It's okay now Anne." he whispered "im sorry too and im here for you." Anne said through her tears "I Love you Gil!" she sobbed "I love you too Anne." Gilbert also began to cry.

after a short moment Gilbert stopped crying and Cupped Anne's Chin, she looked up as Gilbert began stroking her cheek again. "Carrots" he smiled They kissed again.

after an hour or two of talking, Kissing, touching fingertips and even Gilbert giving Anne his Grandmother's Ring, they walked back to Green Gables.
