Chapter 10: Getting Help
Meanwhile with Flightdeck and Crew, the Scaleman Boys were stalking for hours, from Arthur playing with the wheel, to Sam bouncing Around, Jake was laughing, and Brill, well... being himself.
"What is going on down there!?"
The Captain asked while his sheep nearly fell overboard.
"First you burned up the engines, then you clogged up me blige pump, and now we've been off course for hours!"
He said taking the Bucket off Brill and putting a harpoon in his face.
"Now Where. Is. My. Dragon?!"
"DRAGON AHOY!"
Brill said pointing.
"Sam, that's our signal! It's go time!"
"Got it!"
Arthur and Sam went into position.
"Bucky, Music!"
the Captain said as his sheep turned on the radio while Sam released the decoy into the air.
"There'll be no escaping this time!"
Fightdeck launched a harpoon at the decoy and bullseye, Fightdeck pulled it in with all his strength and it revealed to be Nessie as the decoy.
"Wow, Gordon, you did it, you've slayed the beast! And here's your proof, the Dragon's Baby Itself!"
Arthur congratulating the Captain.
"But it's so tiny."
He said getting closer.
"Careful!"
Arthur warned as his Buckwheat nearly touched and went into a fighting position.
"The Babies are most deadly."
"Deadly? But it looks almost, uh, cute."
Fightdeck said as Nessie jumped and Attacked the Captain on the head.
"AAAHHH!! BUCKY! BUCKY HELP ME!!"
"Oh no!"
Brill pretend to act scared.
"OH DON'T KILL ME! PLEASE! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME DRAGON MONSTER!
The Captain pleaded for mercy, Arthur got Nessie off him who then played dead.
"Oh, I did it. I survived a Deadly Dragon baby attack!"
The Captain taking credit while Arthur and Sam looked at each other.
"Oh, finally, I've got my proof! Wouldn't wanna divorce me now, would ya Tammy!? Cabin Boy! take a picture! This is for all me haters, your one star reviews mean nothing!"
He said as Sam took a picture and texted his Mom the job is complete.
"Boys This calls for a celebratory sky chantey, you go low, I'll go HIGH!"
the Captain sang while he, Arthur and Brill went below, while Sam and Jake were still up top with Nessie.
"Nessie, you tiny genius."
Sam said as Nessie licked Jake on the Cheek who then giggled, later on, Rudy and Chester just arrived at the Barbecue, and Chester was a little worried.
"Ohh, I'm so nervous to meet your Mom, she gonna know that I'm a Fairy right away, how's my hair? Feels like it's frizzing up, and you can't trust a person with frizz, Rudy!"
"Chester, you're my Super Sky Guy Buddy, it's gonna be fine, No Fighting..."
"...No Hiding."
Chester Finished as Rudy's phone rang and he saw Kat was calling him, he wanted to say something, but he was too busy at the moment, he dismissed and they continued to the Barbeque.
"Stick Snack?/Stick Snack. Get your Stick Snack./ A Stick Snack? Can I offer you a Stick Snack? Stick Snack for He? Stick Snack for She?"
Brill and Sam were passing out corn dogs.
"Hey Gary, make sure you check out the pool house."
Agatha said to one of her next clients.
"Oh Agatha, you were right, what was I ever worried about?"
"I told you Carol, There's no better place to raise a family, now if you'll excuse me..."
She said texting to Rudy where he was.
"There she is, Aggie, I'm so proud of you, this is everything you've worked for all these years."
Arthur hugging her.
"Well I couldn't have done it without my Dragon Crew."
She whispered that last part and winked to Jake.
"Say, have you heard from- Rudy, hey stranger, I knew you'd make it."
She said as Rudy arrived and hugged.
"Mom, I need to talk to you about something Big."
"Is it about Prom? because..."
"No. And yes, but mostly no, it's about something so much more than prom."
He continued as she raised her eyebrow.
"The Sky, peace, happiness, we want all the same stuff you wanted, and we have a plan, but we need your help."
"We?"
"Mom, I want you to meet my Super Sky Guy Buddy, Chester."
He said introducing Chester, when he turned around someone else familiar was there, but it wasn't him, where did Chester go?
"What is going on, Rudy?"
"Okay, before you freak out, he is a Fairy, but you're gonna love him."
He finished, but Agatha did not look too happy about it.
"Inside, Now!"
She said taking Rudy inside where they could talk privately.
"Rudy, you have to listen to me, you don't understand the danger you're in, we left the Sky because of a Fairy."
"Don't worry, he's not like his Dad."
"His Dad?"
"The Fairy King."
"He's the Fairy King's Son?!"
"Yeah, but he's my Friend."
"He is not your Friend, he is dangerous."
She said as Rudy sighed.
"You sound like Grandmamah."
"I'm sorry, I sound like who?"
"Grandmamah, she's been training me, she told me why you left."
"Training you? For What?!"
"Mom, don't you see? This is what we're trying to stop, this is our chance to fix everything."
"Rudy, you are in over your head. You do not know the whole story!"
"Oh, and who's fault is that?"
"Hey, I tried to talk to you, I wanted to tell you everything sooner, but I also needed to keep you safe and give you a normal life."
"Normal?! Normal isn't hiding in this fake town living a fake life!"
"I sacrificed everything to give you this fake life!"
"Well I'm tired of pretending it's real, I'm tired of lying to everyone, I'm. Done! HIDING!!"
Rudy shouted as lights started to flicker, outside Arthur noticed the commotion.
"Oh. No, no no no no no! Brill!"
He stopped working the grill ran to Brill, who had to settle a beef with a seagull about his Stick Snack, then Arthur grabbed his head and pointed inside.
"Distraction!"
He said as Brill nodded.
"Hey Everybody, Uhh... Watch how high can throw my Nephew!"
He said ponting at Sam getting everyone's attention, Brill grabbed Sam and tossed him up high in the Air, everyone was surprised, and when Sam came back down, he landed in Brill's head, eyeryone was then disgusted.
"Taa Daa!"
Sam said popping out of Brill's head, everyone then cheered, meanwhile back inside.
"We're gonna change the world, with or without you!"
"Rudy, I get it, your angry, you wanna fight, so did I when I was your age, but trust me, this is the wrong fight! You're on the wrong side!"
"You Can't Tell Me How To Live My Life!"
He shouted as he started getting bigger.
"Oh yes I can, and I will, I am still your Mother! You are forbidden from going in the Sky again, Now Go Home and Calm Down!"
She punished him, but Rudy angrily groaned, he got even more bigger and let out a Dragon Roar as Agatha stepped back, outside, Arthur saw Rudy fly away, he then ran to check on Agatha.
"Agatha!"
He opened the door and saw everything inside was destroyed.
"Are you ok?"
Avoiding the destruction, he went towards her who felt like everything is coming back to haunt her.
"What happened?"
"Rudy's made friends with Narcus's son."
"Oh no."
"And my Mother has been training him."
She continued as Arthur gasped.
"Fifteen years, and she still has her wings wrapped around me."
"What about Rudy?"
"Oh, he hates me right now. Go find him, make sure he's safe."
She told Arthur who nodded and she rubbed Jake's head before leaving.
"I'm gonna deal with my Mother."
She said, taking off her earrings and leaving to face her past as her eyes started to glow Purple-ish pink.
