Chapter 12: Cloudside Chaos
It's Prom night at the Sky stationary at Cloudside, everyone dancing, eating grub, and having a good time, well not everyone, Rudy's friends were wondering if he was ever gonna show, Margot looked to see if he texted back, but nothing, and Kat was by the edge picking pedals off flowers, feeling down that her date didn't show, she looked up at the night sky sighing.
She then raised an eyebrow when one star slowly getting bigger and then it got even more bigger as she widened her eyes, to see the thing wasn't a star as it dove in the sea of clouds, she looked down seeing the thing coming back up, she back away as it got everyone's attention, cars were stopping, people stopped they're activities, the thing then revealed itself as a Giant flying thing laughing evilly, it caused panic at the prom, with Bliss blowing a whistle, everyone on Cloudside ran for their lives as Flighdeck widened his eyes.
"The Face of Death!"
He said, the Scaleman boys just arrived at their house, Jake then saw the monster and cried, which got Arthur's attention who looked at what he was crying about.
"Oh No!"
He said as Sam dropped his jaw when he looked, inside Nessie quickly hid under the covers whimpering in fear, the Monster flew over to a house under Scaleman business.
"Hello? Is Mrs. Scaleman home? Knock, KNOCK!"
He said punching a hole into it.
"HEY! That House Was An Escrow!"
Agatha flew in from above.
"To the Boat, Bucky! There's Dragon to Kill!"
Captain Flightdeck said has he and Buckwheat stayed behind to fight.
"Wait!"
Arthur stopped them.
"Scaleman! Are you here to help me kill the Monsters?"
"No! That's my Wife!"
Arthur confessed.
"What?! But if She is a... And-And your her... Than that means... PLEASE DON'T KILL ME DRAGON MONSTER!"
The Captain and Buckwheat pleaded for mercy, Arthur then slapped him.
"Pull yourself together Man! We've got a Fairy to hunt!
He said as He and Sam went to help, with the Captain following.
"Thanks, I needed that."
He admitted.
"Where Is My Son?!"
"Oh, we already said our goodbyes, not before he gave me this."
Narcus laughed evilly revealing the Axe to Agatha, who glared.
"Princess of the Dragons, the Greatest Warrior in the Sky, hiding amongst Humans, what a waste."
He said, then the Queen Flew in from above.
"NO ONE TALKS TO MY DAUGHTER LIKE THAT! Except me."
She said as Agatha eye rolled.
"Been a long time Queen, I see you've grown older."
"Older, and Meaner!"
"Well lucky for me, Fairies barely age. Well, I hope you ladies put up more of a fight than Rudy!"
He said charging at the Dragons who charged also, and the fight on Cloudside began, meanwhile, Brill made it to the Well of Airs.
"Rudy? Rudy?"
He flew around looking for Rudy, he then heard crying and gasped.
"Rudy!"
He shouted as flew towards a clutter of rocks.
"Don't worry! I'll get you out of here!"
He said lifting a Rock and it was heavy.
"Slowly, I will get you out or here slowly."
He said pushing a rock out of the way and went inside the clutter and saw Rudy's head stuck.
"Rudy... Oh no. What happened?"
"Getting the Axe was supposed to make things better, but all I did was ruin everything. Mom was right, I should have just went home like she said, gone back to hiding, and staying small."
Rudy said feeling like everything he did was for nothing.
"What? No, Rudy that's not what your Mom meant, I promise."
"Yeah? Well, you weren't there, you wouldn't know what it's like to have a Mom liying behind your back your whole life."
"Well, you're right, I may not know a lot about a lot, but I do know my sister. Growing up, I was so proud of being her brother, she was the toughest Dragon I've ever seen, being powerful, confident, everyone loved her, and then... she left."
Brill continued looking a bit down.
"And I could never understand why she didn't take her place as the next Queen and just chose to leave the sky..."
He continued while going to Rudy's hand and touching it.
"Until I saw the awesome life she created on land, and I realized, your Mom chose her own path, she chose... you."
He said as Rudy started to widen his eyes thinking about it, and then started to move getting out of the clutter, Brill quickly made it out, while Rudy was still inside the clutter the quaked a little, then a lot more, and then Rudy bursted out into the air, getting his light back, Brill looked in awe.
"It's time to go Big, and destroy that Axe once and for all!"
"Yeah! Go Get'em Kid!"
Brill cheered for Rudy as he took off a Super Sonic Speed, blowing Brill away in the dust who still watched as Rudy literally made a Sonic Boom, making it home as fast as he can.
"I'll be Right There!"
He said taking off too, but slowly.
"Don't wait up, though!"
