Now on to the proper routes with first working with Kirishima to get the evidence needed.
Makoto Naegi: Infiltrating the Airship Chapter 2
Route: Government Supported Private Investigator
Nicole finds one and said "This one looks good, right?" she looks to Cupcake
"Cupcake" It said with a nod
"Yeah" Nicole said smiling and enters it
Makoto decided to work with Kirishima to infiltrate the airship and find evidence needed to arrest the Legion of Doom
"Alright, I am going to drop you on the roof" Kirishima said "That earpiece you have will keep us in contact"
"Alright but how will you know where for us to go?" Makoto asked concerned
"Luckily we managed to get some general floor plans for this airship but not detailed but we managed to deduce what is there and we have some basic info but don't worry this will go great" Kirishima said giving a thumbs up "Got it?"
"Got it" Makoto said smiling "Ready Nicole?"
"Ready" Nicole said nodding
The airship moves over the top of the Legion of Doom's airship and when it was steady Makoto jumps down onto the L.O.D airship room near the hatch
"Check, check, this is Kirishima over?" Kirishima asked checking to see if they have a signal flying the airship away a bit
"We read you loud a clear Kirishima" Nicole said with a nod
"Good, that is great to hear. But I should warn you that on the other side of the hatch is a bad guy, a guard to be exact. So good luck dealing with him." Kirishima said to them
"Thanks for the warning" Makoto said and asked "Okay Nicole what do you have for this?"
"Let's see" Nicole said checking and offered up some C4, knocking on the hatch, acid or a vacuum.
"Hmmmmmm..." Makoto said thinking
Knock
Makoto decided to be sort of polite and knocks on the hatch. Nicole concerned said "I am not sure this is going to work"
"We won't know until we try" Makoto said smiling. The hatch opens and a villain known as Death Gun emerges. Makoto waves and said "Hey neighbour thought I drop by"
Death Gun just points his pistol at him making Makoto raise his arms in surrender "You really thought that would work, pathetic" he said
Nicole shakes her head "They probably would have let you in if you had Girl Scout cookies with you"
"Cupcake" Cupcake said nodding as Nicole resets
Acid
Makoto pulls out a bottle of super fast acting acid and said reading the label "Works on mostly everything well let's see how it does on the hatch"
Makoto uncorks the bottle and tries the pour the acid on the hatch but due to the strong wind up there the acid was caught and gets blown into Makoto's legs
"Ahhhh!" He yelps out in pain as his legs as dissolved and Makoto falls down and begins sliding off the airship "Ahhhhhh"
Nicole face palms holding in a laugh "I can't stand acid either" she then rewinds.
C4
Makoto sets up some C4 on the hatch and move a good distance away and holds the remote "Here we go"
"No wait maybe we should take cover on the..." Nicole said but too late
Makoto hits the trigger and the bomb explode but Makoto gets hit by a piece of the hatch and is sent flying off the airship
Nicole watching said "You know when they blow stuff up and say 'THAT'S COVER!'? That's why..." she then rewinds
Vacuum
Makoto attaches the vacuum nozzle completely over the hatch entrance. Nicole said "You sure on this?"
"Hey, it says it has a very powerful suction and I am inclined to trust it" Makoto said
"Well go ahead" Nicole said shrugging
Makoto nods and press go on the remote. The vacuum turns on and first the hatch door is pulled off and put in the sack then something else was pulled into it. Once that was done Makoto turned it off
"Hey what's the big idea?! What's going one?!" a muffled voice belonging to Death Gun is heard struggling in the bag
Makoto unattaches the nozzle and slides down the ladder. He then said "Okay Kirishima I'm in" he said it in a low voice as he can hear voices beyond the small room he was in and didn't want to attack attation
"Good job, alright next part of the job is find something incriminating we can use to arrest them." Kirishima said "Well that is no duh that is the point of this operation"
"Got it." Nicole said nodding
Makoto leans on the wall and pears into the room which was a meeting room which had about five members of the Legion of Doom. As Makoto scanned the room he is shocked to reagonised one of them Leon Kuwata, the guy who got in trouble for his part in Makoto's attempt to break into the bank.
Apparently, he went full supervillain after all that as he was here in a make shift evil baseball villain outfit.
The head of this meeting was a man named Braig, who was a black haired man with an eyepatch,said to everyone "Alright everyone, the five of us have been tasked with coming up with new weapons for the Legion. Any ideas?"
"I was kind of thinking..." another villain known as Green Goblin began.
"Okay, here are the ideas I have" Nicole said and shows images of a Disguise, some glue and a Transdimensionalizer
Hmmmmmm" Makoto said thinking
Transdimensionalizer
Makoto holds a device with a blue slider and looks at the card "Another one reviewed by Entrapta but it's another Hyperion product...oh no" He said concerned
Transdimensionalizer

"Well, here we go" Nicole said giving the go ahead "But I swear Hyperion is evil"
Makoto nods and slides the switch. Suddenly the world shakes and then folds into itself as a just a very thin flat line
Nicole blinking said "You went to the 1st dimension. It's okay, just flip the switch up to get back to...oh, right." She awkwardly resets everything
Disguise
Makoto has Nicole give him a wig which was white and unkept and a long green coat to wear. "You sure this will work?"
"Yes, now just keep calm and don't let them suspect you now who they think you are" Nicole said
Makoto nods and walks out to get to the exit of the room
"Alright so if we go to double magic and three caliber..." Braig said but stops seeing Makoto "Hey you! What are you doing?"
Makoto looked worried and turns to him "Who me?"
"Yes you. Your Nagito right?" Braig asked eyeing him. Makoto nods to that. Braig then smiles and said "What are you even doing here? Your best friend's wife has gone into labour with your godchild!"
Makoto was surprised and said "Oh right sorry I..."
Briag cut him off point to a door behind Makoto "Take that escape pod behind you, it will take you right too the hospital"
"But I have some important work I need to do" Makoto said trying to get out of this
"Nonsense go ahead" Braig said with a generine smile "Don't worry about the work, I will clear it up with the big boss Luthor"
With no choice Makoto gets into the escape pod and it lauches him off the airship
Nicole laughs and said "Oh congratulations! Happy God Father's day!" she calms down and resets
Glue
Makoto covers his hands with glue and tests it. It was very sticky but it was easy to pull apart "I will use this to sort of spider-man myself across the ceiling."
"That could work, go ahead" Nicole said nodding
Makoto begins climbing up the wall and across the sealing unaware to the meeting going on who continues on the meeting with Braig saying "No we can't do that"
"Awww but why not" The villain known as Mirror Master asked
"You do realize how much a solid gold cannon would weigh right?" Braig asked him
"Don't worry, we got plenty of power" Mirror Master said and looks to Leon "Hey what do you think of the idea?"
"Well, to be honest I am still new here so I am not sure what to say" Leon said rubbing his head
Makoto soon reaches the room oppestie the meeting room and drops down. There was a lift which beeps indicating it was opening "Uh oh"
"Makoto down here" Nicole said indicating to a garbage chute. Makoto nods and jumps down
The door opens a bit and the villain on the lift groans and calls down below "Hey! The door's jammed again!"
Makoto then drops out the pipe lands in the centre of the ship, which had a large cap, he lands on his face and the boy rubs his head "Owww..."
"Cupcake?" The Cupcake asked
"It's okay not the first time for this" Nicole said to it
"Hey guys, see that sign that said Records" Kirishima said and Makoto looks to see indeed on the other side of the gap was a direction sign for Records room.
"Yeah I see it Kirishima" Makoto said nodding
"Well, if I was a betting man I would wager that is the likely place to find a lot of incriminating evidence" Kirishima said with a smile "Just let me help you get across that gap and we'll head there"
"Okay what you got" Nicole said and got the suggestions fomr Kirishima which were a platform, Gravity Bubble, a Robot Helper or Kirishima himself
Platform
"Okay Kirishima teleport in a platform to help me cross" Makoto suggest
"Alright got it, let me just teleport it in here for you" Kirishima said and does that
The platform does materialize in but attached to Makoto and not fully over the gap so it fall down taking Makoto screaming down and smashes through the bottom and sounding the alarms
Nicole shakes her head shrugging "Targeting system must be a little off" she resets
Gravity Bubble
"Wait Gravity bubble?" Makoto asked surprised
"Yeah, I have a thing here that can manipulate gravity" Kirishima said smiling "It is experimental thought but it should get me to help you float across"
"Well it is worth a try" Nicole said smiling
"Alright, go ahead" Makoto said nodding
"Alright let me just...wait" Kirishima said but pauses seeing the two big buttons for the gravity controls marked Up and Down and forgetting the brief on this he has no idea which does what.
Kirishima presses one of the buttons, we don't know which, and then asks "Well, did it work?"
We then sees it did work but not in the way they were expecting as Makoto was in a bubble of increased gravity so he was slammed into the floor and couldn't move.
Nicole looks in shock and shields Cupcake's eyes and said "So wait...Does 'Up' incease gravity or does it lift you up into the air?" with that question she resets
Kirishima (Charles)
"I am stumped Kirishima what is your idea?" Makoto asked curious
"Throught you'd never ask, I've got a good idea" Kirishima said almost too excited for this.
"Okay, then let's see it" Makoto said nodding
"Alright here I come" Kirishima said and then begins singing fanfare and the two isn't sure till the look out the window near them and see the air shuttle Kirishima was flying fast approaching the window, Kirishima with a bit smile on his face. Needless to say Makoto looked surprised and no doubt Jace and Scout were on the ship shocked and confused on what was going on.
Nicole said as she stopped time just before the helicopter crashed into the airship "Hey look! Kirishima is here!" She smiles and rests
Robo Helper
"Send in the Robo Helper" Makoto said with a nod
"Alright here it comes" Kirishima said and lauches it
A large yellow cube bursts through celing and lands near Makoto, it then unfurls into a robot yellow fox and floats about Makoto
"Ohhhh cute, it is a little robot Tails" Nicole said recognizing the resemblance
Makoto grabs the Robo Helper's hands and it flies him across the gap. He then drops onto the other side and the little robot leaves
"Bye Robo Helper" Nicole said waving
Makoto approaches the area and comes to a small stairway to a door in need of card access and there was another L.O.D member Sinstro, trying to get his card to open the door
"Put the card it..." Sinstro said and does so but it fails and he grumbles in annoyance. "I do not understand this!"
Kirishima seeing chuckles and said "I don't think that red skinned guy knows how to open the door. Why not let me handle this."
"Alright what you got for this" Makoto asked and looks at Nicoles screen to show Kirishima could melt Sinestro's bones, Mind control him, use the Republic airship gattling gun or remote access the L.O.D's Airship systems
Remote Access
Makoto opted to remote access and waited a few seconds, Kirishima then said "Alright, I managed to hack into there security system here. That should let me open up the door there."
"Alright go for it" Makoto said nodding
A few seconds later the part of the floor Makoto was standing on flips and slams the brown haired boy into the large green pipe infront of him
Sinstro jumped and turns to see the aftermath. "Wow, there are more bugs on this thing everyday" he said shrugging
Nicole winces and said "Woops, wrong subroutine" she resets
Mind Control
"Take control of him Kirishima" Makoto said in a low voice
Sinstro looks at the card reader angry but then a beep is heard and he gets a blank look on his face, Kirishima was able to fully control him
"Wow this guy really is a moron, yet he's Green Lantern's most dangerous enemy" Kirishima said as he controls Sinstro to put the card in "Yet he doesn't even know how to open a door"
Sinstro is made to insert the card but misses the slot and the card is bent and dropped on the floor useless now. Kirishima noticing said "Whoops...my bad"
Makoto facepalmed while Nicole states "Controlling another person is harder then it looks, ok?!" she then resets
Gatling Gun
"Wait, are you sure?" Nicole asked when Makoto selected the gun
"Yeah, it might work" Makoto said and on the comm said "Go ahead Kirishima"
"Alright, get to bring out the big guns!" Kirishima said excited and fires the airship's gattling gun and after a bit stops "Alright you should be good to go now." He however got not response "Hello? Makoto?"
Turns out that Kirishima as he fired hit Sinstro and Makoto killing both of them.
Nicole looking at the intact door said "Wow, he didn't even hit the door.." She rewinds time
Bone Melt
Makoto select the bone melt and Nicole covers Cupcake's eyes. Sintro was still angry that he felt his legs shake, in fact his whole body was shaking
"What the…?!" He said as he felt himself kind of melting, she he did as he falls onto the floor in a heap as he no longer had a skeleton to support himself.
Disturbed seeing the twiching mass Makoto picks up the keycard and uses it to open the door way to the records room
"Alright let's go inside" Nicole said as Makoto entered
Makoto walks in and sees the extravagant record room that was a bit like a library with section for different files and records. However he wasn't the only one in there. There was a member of the Legion of Doom known as Handsome Jack. He was the keeper of the records for the villain organization and considered himself the face of the L.O.D
Jack was on the lone table in the centre of the room with his back to Makoto looking at a file. He then said out loud "Oh man, hahaha I remember this. Good thing no one in the Republic knows about this or we would be in a lot of trouble"
"Hey isn't that Hyperion's CEO?" Makoto asked in a whisper
"Yes it is, I knew it, plus what he is reading that has got to be the evidence we were looking for!" Nicole said in a yell whisper
"We have to get rid of him and grab it, what you got?" Makoto whispered and Nicole shows his options a Ninja Star, Spook him or a Falcon kick
"Choose quickly before he turns around" Nicole told him
Timeout
However as Makoto was trying to think on which to use Kirishima came on and said "Oh man a Pidgey flew right into the ariship afterburner!"
This got Handsome Jack's attention who turns to see Makoto and glares, Makoto smiles innocently while Kirishima continues "Oh what a mess!"
"Well, well looks like we got ourselves a stowaway!" Jack said and hits a button and Hyprion loader bots deploy and proceed to attack Makoto.
Nicole worried said "This isn't a good time Kirishima...But still that sounds crazy!" she resets
Falcon Kick
"Okay, going to try it again but with my leg this time" Makoto said smiling
"Alright just let me explain..." Nicole began but too late
"Falcon!" Makoto said and stomps his foot only to light completely on fire and burn into a pile of ash
Jack feeling the hear of the fire looks and sees the ash "Errr….okay then" He was really confused
"I think you put too much energy into it that time." Nicole said and resets time
Ninja Star
"Okay you got one shot" Nicole said giving him the ninja star
Makoto nods and takes aim and throws the star. It misses Jack's head and knocks the file out of his hand.
Jack shocked at first turns and glares at Makoto "Wow….rude!" He said getting ready to summon the robots
"Oops..." Makoto said nervous
Nicole in shocked yelled out "You missed! Haw could you miss he was three feet in front of you!" She then rewinds time
Spook
Nicole makes a stick with a fake Spiderant attached to it appear in Makoto's hands "Alright let's hope this scares him"
Makoto nods and hangs the stick of Jack's head so the Spiderant appears in front of Jack's face. The man smiles and said "Awww hello little Spiderant, aren't you a cute one" He was clearly not scared by it
"Oh forget this" Makoto said rolling his eyes and whacks Jack on the head with the stick knocking him out.
"Well that is one way" Nicole said nodding "Quick grab the file and lets go!"
Makoto does so and heads for the exit on the other side from the one he came in from.
"Alright you got some evidence, awesome" Kirishima said with a smile
"Yep heading to the hanger now" Makoto said
"Wait, wait, wait!" Kirishima said suddenly Makoto stops "You can't go that way, yeah in that area there are lots of guys with a lot of deadly powers and weapons. Is all I will say"
"Is there any other way?" Nicole asked
"Hmmmmm, looks like there is a vent you can use to get around them." Kirishima said looking at the floor plans
Makoto sees the vent, he opens it and jumps down and comes acorss and obstacle being an electric defence system.
Kirishima contacts him and said "Okay I have managed to hack into the airship's power grid, what do you want me to do?"
At this point Nicole puts it up like a dialogue options from Mass Effect or a Telltale game the options being Shut off the power, Reroute the power, I don't need your help or [Make an Animal Noise]
[Make an Animal Noise]
Makoto decided to be a bit silly suddenly just says "Mooooooo!"
"Okay….? I-I don't understand what that means" Kirishima said very confused while Nicole laughs at that and figured someone would get a silly trophy for that
I don't need your help
"You know what, no I can get through this without you Kirishima" Makoto said firmly
"Oh...I am sorry pal, I just thought...maybe you needed some help is all" Kirishima said a little hurt
"That was a little mean Makoto" Nicole said to him
"Maybe but I think I got this" Makoto said getting ready and he titmes the electric currents.
He then runs forward and makes it halfway before being zapped by electricity and he rolls onto the other side dead.
Nicole claps and said "Good Hustle" she then resets
Shut off the Power
"Kirishima shut of the power grid" Makoto said thinking on it
"Sure that's wise?" Nicole asked concerned
"Alright, shutting down the power now" Kirishima said with a nod
As the power is shut off the Electric defence grid powers off making Makoto smile but suddenly the whole ship begins to tilt and we see that shutting down the power has effected the whole Legion of Doom airship and it was now falling out of the sky
Nicole said "Let's hope the landing gear still has power" She then resets it
Reroute the Power
"Kirishima can you redirect the power in this area?" Makoto asked
"Oh sure I can, I'll just reroute it to a random room, sure it won't cause no trouble" Kirishima said with a nod
He does it and the electric defense grid powers down. Makoto smiles as he walks forward
Nicole thinks "I wonder where all that power went?"
Meanwhile in a makeshift dark room on the airship Doctor was working on some of his new photos. When all of sudden he saw the bulb begin to get brighter and he realized this was bad
"No, no, NOOOOOOO! MY PHOTOS!" He cries out as the room is completely covered by light.
Back with Makoto he emerges from the vent into the Cargo hold, he looks around and only sees two guards Rito and Scorpion.
Kirishima said "Alright Makoto, Nicole you guys are almost home free. I am right outside the cargo hold, just open up the bay doors and I will get you out of there."
"Alright get ready as we have some guards to take care off" Nicole said
Makoto hits the button. The bay doors begin to open unfortunately the villains notice and look to see Makoto
"Hey! What are you doing?!" Rito said readying his sword
Scorpion gets on the walkie talkie and said "Yeah, sorry but we have a situation in the cargo bay, an intruder"
The bay doors and the two villains look and see the republic airship.
"We have to get by them, Kirishima, do you have anything?" Makoto asked and he sends the suggestions through Nicole which were a flashbang, sleeping gas, banana bomb or a force gun
Sleeping gas
"Put them to sleep Kirishima!" Makoto calls out
"You got it!" Kirishima said and deploys the nuzzel and releases the knock out gas, unfortunatly he is too far away from the cargo bay and the wind cataches the gas blowing it in the opposite direction "Oooo...Maybe I should have thought about this..."
We hear a gunshot indicating that Makoto has being shot by the villains
"You snooze you lose. Or I guess in this case you... Don't snooze you...lose?" Nicole said confused
"Cupcake!" The Cupcake said and Nicole nods reseting
Flashbang
"Flashbang now!" Makoto said running forward
Kirishima nods and launches the flashbang and calls out "Fire in the hole!"
The flashbang grenadelands by the feet of Rito and The Scorpion and as Makoto runs it goes off blinding Makoto who can't see anything and ends up running off the edge of the cargo bay and falls to his death.
Nicole said "Wow, that was bright" she then resets
Banana Bomb
Makoto selects the banana bomb and while Rito motions for Makoto to hand over the fire a banana bounces to the threes feet
"What is that?" The Scorpion asked
"No idea" Rito said shrugging
"Errr…." Makoto said
We then cut to outside the airship where we hear the explosion and it was with enough force it causes the whole Legion of Doom Airship to begin to go down.
Nicole holds up a banana and said "Dun dun dun dun OOoohhhhb BANANA! Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun" she resets
Force Gun
"Psst, I think now is the time to tell you this" Kirishima whispered to Makoto
"What?" Makoto asked confused
"There is a button your ear piece, go ahead and press it" Kirishima said
Makoto finds the button and presses it, it suddenly pops off and turns into a Force Gun. Makoto holds and smirks as he points it at the two villains
"Oh no this ain't good!" Rito said worried
"Where is the back up?!" The Scorpion said
Makoto fires the force gun which shoots the two Legion of Doom members flying out the cargo hold and they fall to there doom screaming.
Makoto smiles as he runs to get on the Republic Airship. Just then a figure enters the Cargo Hold he was a man in blue and black armor wearing a mask that was half red and black, the red half having a white eye bit for the mask, he was Deathstroke the right hand enforcer to Lex Luthor and pretty much 2ndin command
"What's going on down…?" Deathstroke asks but then sees Makoto turn and jump off the ship and uses the force gun to propell him onto the Republic airship.
Deathstroke runs to the edge as he noticed the files in Makoto's hands he watches as they fly off with there evidence and said "This isn't good, it might cause us some problems"
A few days later Makoto was relaxing on the couch and Kirigiri comes over with some coffee and sits next to him "I still can't believe you managed to do all that"
"Hey, it helps I had Nicole and Kirishima helping me out" Makoto said with a smile
"Speaking of, it should be on the news" Kirigiri said and Makoto nods and turns on the TV.
On screen was Kent Brockman as he said "Our top story today the infamous Legion of Doom is now the Legion of Doomed as Republic Special Forces with aid of the Justice League faces long overdue payment for there many crimes."
An image of Lex Luthor appears as Kent continues "More then 100 members of this infamous organization have been caught and arrested including the current leader Lex Luthor." An image of Deathstroke appears as Kent continues "Through many of the members are still yet to be arrested and gone into hiding. This reporter hopes they stay hidden"
"This operation of mass arrest was possible when the Republic Senate received evidence from an anonymous source of there crimes which..."
Kirigiri turns the TV off "That's enough, I want to give you my thanks for doing this"
Makoto smiles and the two kiss while Nicole leaves to give them privacy.
