Chapter Thirty
The feeling of her naked body against his was pure paradise, especially when they were facing each other in bed, when they were facing each other and admiring each other's bodies. And as Matt laid here today, that was precisely what he was doing as he held Alex close, while also showing her how much he truly loves her, while also doing exactly what they want to do right now. Right now, all they want to do is hold each other close after having just made love to each other in bed; and that's precisely what they're doing as Matt left another kiss on his wife's shoulder as a way to make her feel happy. While at the same time, he had his hand on her stomach, which is where their little baby is currently growing inside of her each and every minute. And in fact, that was precisely why he and Alex just made love to each other; because of a little dream that Alex just told him about. A dream related to them celebrating Christmas in Mokena in December 2018. Something that he wasn't all that against, as he wants to have his children experience snow multiple times in their lives; plus, their life is unpredictable. Unless Matt specifically says that he isn't travelling for work, and that he's staying at a certain office for a certain period of them; then there's always a chance that they may need to go to an important meeting.
Whether it be with a client, or a vendor who can give them material or other products for cheaper than what they already pay; Matt always feels like he should be there. Like he should be at the meetings, so that he can make sure that the company is well represented; plus, there's just something about having the CEO there at the meetings for a subsidiary that makes the other company like them even more. It means that they are bringing the big guns to any negotiation that they may have, which is precisely why he goes at times; so that they can get the best deal from their manufacturers and vendors, rather than get the shitty deals that their inferior employees may negotiate for them on their behalf. Then again, he does trust all of his employees when it comes to their goal of doing the best job they can for the company; so maybe he should trust their negotiating skills a bit more. Yet, on the other hand, they are dealing with a lot of money most of the time; and those deals are better handled by the people who truly have a stake in the game, which is another reason why Matt needs to negotiate with them at times. However, right now he really shouldn't be thinking about work when he's naked in bed with his beautiful wife. What he can think about though, is the dream he had with regards to their four children.
God, now that's something that truly does intrigue him; especially since he and Alex have both already made it clear to each other that they want to have a large family, which is precisely what they would have should they have four children. Four beautiful children. Two boys named William and Jameson (born in 2013 and 2018, respectively), and two daughters named Emerson and Hannah (born in 2014 and 2016, respectively). And that's something that still surprises him, the fact that Alex dreamed about having two kids, two years in a row (William in 2013, and Emerson in 2014). I mean, not that he would be opposed to that due to the fact that he loves the idea of them having a daughter as soon as possible; he's just not sure if he likes the idea of them doing it back-to-back. Then again, he most certain will not complain if they have children that fast; as he wants to have a daughter as soon as they can, in the safest and healthiest way possible both for Alex and their child. And that's what concerns him the most, the health risks that come with having two kids born back-to-back. Then again, he really shouldn't even be contemplating that right now; not when Alex is pregnant now.
When she's currently pregnant with their first child, the child that Matt's always dreamed of having; including just now as he held his beautiful wife close to him while she slept in his arms. While she slept naked in his arms, which truly is paradise; as there's nothing sexier than the feeling of his naked wife in his arms. Well, for him at least. But for Alex, all she needs in order to feel like she's in paradise is the feeling of Matt's soft lips on her body, whether it be her skin, or her lips. That doesn't matter to her. All that matters is that she gets the feeling of his soft lips somewhere on her body, which is precisely what she's in the midst of getting as she woke up once more this afternoon as he was currently pressing soft kisses on her forehead. And damn was that nice, just like the feeling of him rubbing her arm to keep her warm, which is precisely what she needs as she's naked in his arms with nothing but the sheets covering their lower halves. And that's why she just grabbed the sheets so that she could tug them up on top of her entire body, which is how Matt just realized that his gorgeous wife is awake. "Hey." Smiling as she placed her hand on Matt's chest, Alex smirked at her man.
The man who was naked as he held her in his arms, which is precisely how she wants to be with him right now. "Hey." Wrapping his arm around Alex as he felt her get close to him, Matt smiled as he knew precisely why she was getting close to him. It was so that she could be warm in his arms, not that she was really cold as they live in Florida. But still, Alex loves being close to Matt in bed; and he most certainly was not going to complain that his (naked) wife wants to cuddle up to him right now when they just made love to each other. When they just made sweet love to one another, here in their bed; after all, it was pure bliss and a lot of fun. Fun that was ongoing as Alex placed on her hand on Matt's face and smiled as she kissed her loving husband while she snuggled up to him in bed. Meanwhile, he wrapped his arm around her more and stroked her back as they both held each other here in the sheets. "You still need time to wake up?" Alex nodded as Matt asked her whether she needed some time to wake up, which is precisely why she just cuddled up to him and wrapped her arms around his muscular torso. "Yeah, if that's okay. I mean, if you need to get up and do something…"
Wrapping his arm around Alex's back as he placed his hand on her back, Matt smiled as he turned his head and started down into her eyes. "Hey, look at me." Alex agreed with Matt as she turned her head and looked up into his beautiful eyes. "I'm not going anywhere, not when I have the sexiest, most beautiful pregnant woman in the entire world naked in my arms; the woman I want to hold close to me like this for the rest of my life." Alex smiled as she heard Matt tell her that, while also wrapping her arms around his neck as they cuddled up to each other here in bed. "Good, because I feel the same way." Matt nodded and smiled as he held his gorgeous wife close to him here in bed. As he just took it nice and easy with her, which is precisely what Alex wants him to do anyways. She wants her husband to hold her in his arms, as they both take it easy with each other here in bed. "Now, this is a good way to spend our morning. We have a nice breakfast, then we make love to each other." Smiling as he ran his hand up and down Alex's back, Matt nodded as he pressed his lips against his gorgeous wife's forehead this morning. After all, this is precisely what they both want.
How they both want to be in bed with each other, as they hold each other close and just take it easy with each other in bed. I mean, if you can name something better than this, then by all means go right ahead; but, until you can tell Matt something better than cuddling up to your naked wife in bed all day, then he's just going to go on believing that this is the best thing in the entire world. Add in the fact that his wife is pregnant, now that just makes things even better; and much harder to prove him wrong, as it also means that his dream is coming true. He's going to be a father, which is something that he's always wanted, which is why he feels like he's truly in paradise right now, simply due to the fact that all of the boxes on his wish list for his life are all checked off.
A woman who loves him unconditionally? Check.
A woman he gets to call his beautiful wife? Check.
His wife making him a father? In progress.
Him being happy in his life? Do I really need to say it? Check, obviously.
If there was one word for Matt to describe this new life that he and Alex are starting with each other, then it was heaven; it was heaven on earth due to the fact that this woman has made all of his dreams come true (and more). And now, they are just holding each other close and cuddling up to one another…naked in bed. And damn is that hot, so hot that Matt really doesn't want to move; but it seems like those damn dogs of his are currently just looking at him in that way that already makes him know what he may need to do. "No, don't you do it mister." Turning her head to look up at Matt, Alex was confused. "What are you talking about babe?" Turning his head to look down at Alex, Matt smirked as he leaned in and kissed her again. "Theo over here?" Alex smiled.
After which, she turned her head and could see exactly what her husband was talking about. She could see him close to his leach, which can only mean one thing. Either (a) he has to go to the washroom, or (b) he wants to go our for a walk. And right now, that's the last thing that either she or Matt want to do right now as they hold each other in the comfort of their bed, which is why Matt just said that. Why he just said no to Theo, as he doesn't want him to bark as it would mean that he needs to stop holding her like this. Holding her in the comfort of his muscular biceps and leaving soft kisses on her forehead, which is just paradise to Alex. And honestly, she doesn't want to move either now that she's all comfortable with her man. "You know, I think it's due to the fact that he's not used to this house yet. He's just lost as to where he is." Matt agreed with Alex as he stroked her back, before pressing his lips to her forehead once more. "Yeah, I can see that." Turning her head, Alex smiled as she looked up at Matt. "Speaking of which, we need to talk about my dream. What are you thinking of where we do Christmas in 2018?" Looking down into Alex's eyes, Matt smiled as he moved his hand to her arm and rubbed it; after which, he stroked it with his thumb and just smiled as they both held each other close.
They held each other, here in the comfort of their bed, which is precisely where they want to be today. They want to spend the day in bed, supposedly watching movies. But right now, they were naked in bed with each other; and Matt most certainly was not complaining about that. "First of all, I am not thinking about Christmas 2018 yet." Feeling Alex put her hand on his chest, Matt smiled as he put his on top of hers and stroked it with his thumb. After which, he turned his head and smiled as he bent down and kissed the woman he loves. "I'm not even thinking about Christmas this year right now." Moving her hand away from Matt's chest, Alex soon placed it on his face; meanwhile, Matt got closer to Alex and slipped his arm under her head. Laying her head down on Matt's arm afterwards, Alex smiled as she felt him tug her body against his chest once more; while he also placed his hand on her back and stroked it with his thumb. "Right now, I'm only thinking about Christmas 2012. My first Christmas as your husband, and the last one before I become a father." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "You know, I always dreamed that we would cuddle up to each other and make love by the fire on our first Christmas together." Matt agreed with Alex, as he loves that idea.
He loves the idea of them cuddling up to each other by the fireplace, while making sweet love to each other; but that's not going to happen here in Florida, as he has no plans to have a fire going here. "Maybe next year we can do a fire elsewhere. Right now, we need to be here and take it easy. Remember, why we came here in the first place?" Alex nodded. "It was so that we could get away from the press and anybody that could judge us." Matt agreed with his wife, as that's precisely why they're here in Florida. "I mean, unless you want to go back?" Alex looked up at her husband as he asked her that question, while taking a breath due to the fact that she doesn't know what he wants. All she knows is that she wants to be with her husband, alone as they take it easy with each other. She wants to hold him close to her like this, as she enjoys the feeling of him showering her with love by kissing her forehead in the way he does. "I guess, I am just thinking about how I would've liked to have the fireplace cuddles on our first Christmas as husband and wife. But I'm not sure if I'm ready to go back to Chicago, or even Mokena right now." Matt nodded, well aware of the reason why she felt that way; because it was related to how they were hiding their love for each other in Chicago, which is the last thing they want to do.
However, she has to know that it wouldn't be the same if they went back to Chicago for Christmas. "I hope you know that things would be different. We wouldn't be hiding, as I would proudly keep you on my arm as I show you off." Alex agreed with Matt, before smiling as she looked up at her man. After which, she turned her head and looked at the dogs. "I guess, I am more thinking about the dogs; how they are not really able to go outside as much. And that's what bugs me the most. How we always have to get up and take care of them. I know that's always something we needed to do in the first place, but I think I chose the wrong house if I'm being honest. I didn't know that you were going to take time off, so I picked the one that was the best for you." Matt was confused as he heard Alex say that. "What are you talking babe?" Alex sighed as she turned her head and looked up at Matt. "The time difference between Chicago and Miami is an hour ahead of them. So, you can sleep in more. But the place here is far from the beach." Matt agreed with Alex. "Let me guess, you're having doubts as to where you want to be for Christmas?" Alex sighed, nodding as that was true.
She was having doubts about having Christmas in Florida. "I just want us to have fun with each other. And I want you to surf and be right on the beach, but I also want some of the cold weather at night so we can cuddle by the fireplace. Florida just doesn't give me that." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, before leaning in and kissing her softly. After which, he rolled over to get up. "Hey, where are you going?" Matt smirked. "I need to go call the pilot and pack up." Alex was shocked. "Baby, no…" Matt smiled at his wife. "Babe, I want us to be happy. Plus, I like the idea of surfing." Alex smiled. "You sure?" Matt agreed as he bent down and grabbed his boxers to put them on. After which, he leaned over his wife and smirked. "Positive, now get up so that we can get packing." Alex laughed and agreed with her husband, loving the sound of that. And damn does she love her husband.
Hi Readers: I know that this is a huge 180 for the story, but I just didn't feel like I had enough ideas to continue in Florida. Rather, I have ideas for a beach that needs to be in California. I want to have Matt surfing and having fun with his wife. And that's why I am moving them to California. I hope that you guys understand and continue to read the story. Now, let's get on with it my loyal readers.
