We see Ash and Fox trudging through the forests of Sauria.
They reach a hill.
"So where do you think we should start looking?" Fox questioned.
"Just wait." Ash said, then the ground started to shake.
"What the heck is that?" Fox questioned.
"The Warpstone wakes up." Ash answered.
"What?" Fox questioned.
Then the so-called hill turns out to be a giant humanoid torso made of stone.
"Who is the wise guy that wakes me up?" It's questioned in a Scottish accent.
"About time you woke up," Ash said.
Fox's mouth hangs open.
Warpstone looks down to see Ash and Fox.
Then Warpstone was more focused on Ash.
"Hmm, strange. Did you switch places like this planet did a while ago?" the living stone asks the young Aura Guardian.
"Switched, what do you mean?" Ash questioned.
"There were earthquakes and weird lightning as the oldest being on the planet, so I know where two planets are trading places." The Warpstone answered.
"What planet did this one switch places with?" Ash questioned.
"I don't know its name, but that staff," the Warpstone started, pointing to Krystal's staff on Fox's back.
"it has the same feel as that planet," it said.
"Are you talking about Cerinia?" Ash questioned.
"If that's the planet's name, then yes, I am. I know what that plant and that staff are made of metal and rocks from there, but I can't send you there; I can only send you to places here on Sauria." The warpstone answered.
"That's weird, but we'll shelve that for another time." Ash said.
Ash pulls out the "Rock Candy" from his pack.
'Yeah, let's ignore the fact that your possible girlfriend's planet is just displaced and not destroyed, or better yet, tell me about the Warpstone being alive! BEFORE!' Fox thought, as he had never had to deal with something like this on any of Star Fox's missions.
"Alright, we need your help." Ash said.
The Warpstone takes the "Rock Candy" from the young Aura Guardian's hands and then eats it.
"Where do you need to go?" the living stone questioned.
Ash tells him.
"Alright," the warpstone said before grabbing the two.
"Whoa!" Fox said.
The duo is surrounded by energy.
"Hey Fox Have you ever been teleported across a planet before?" Ash questioned.
"Yes, but only inside of my wing." Fox answered.
"Well, you're in for a treat then." Ash said.
Fox grabs the floating drone.
"Lucy! Fara! If I die because I was turned inside out, I want to let you both know I love you; the "pictures" are in a hollow book; don't let Falco have the Great Fox!" Fox said.
"Wow, dramatic much?" Ash questioned them before they disappeared in a flash of light.
Fox looks around and sees they are in a new place.
'If I'm unable to have kits because of this mission! I'm blaming General Pepper!' Fox thought.
Both started to walk.
"So, what part of the planet are we?" Fox questioned.
"SnowHorn Wastes." Ash answered.
"You think we'll find the prince here?" Fox questioned.
Before Ash could answer, they saw a spaceship descend.
"A ship?" Fox questioned.
Then the ship beams down a young Earthwalker.
"There he is," Ash said.
'Okay, after rescuing the prince, I have to contact General Pepper; there's no way that spaceship should be here!' Fox thought.
"Alright, let's get a closer look at the situation." Ash said.
Fox nodded as they followed the group of Sharpclaw soldiers.
'There is more to this than he and Krystal had thought; one answer leads to more questions.' Ash thought.
Soon enough, they stop in a certain spot.
Ash uses Thundewave to knock out the soldiers while making Fox's fur puff up.
They moved to where the knocked-out soldiers were.
And tired them up, Ash and Fox make their way to where they hold Prince Tricky.
Soon enough, they see him in a cage.
"Got anything to cut the case with?" Ash questioned.
Fox checks his gear.
"Thanks to the spaceship, I won't be in trouble because of this!" Fox said, handing Ash a mini-chainsaw.
Ash uses the tool.
The chainsaw makes quick work of the cage.
"You're free now, Your Highness." Ash said.
"Neo! 0ei'ho Ujx! rik nxe'j kxo fivvrucc?" (Woe! You're Ash! (But who's the puffball?)" Prince Tricky questioned as he walked out of the cage.
"Xaj dumo aj Vep Msceit." (His name is Fox Mcloud.)" Ash said.
"U vep nxe aj dumot Vep?" (A fox who is named Fox?)" Prince Tricky questioned.
"Hey! Slippy, how long until the translation program is ready?" Fox questioned his frog teammate through his cons.
"0oux ak'j dek ehawaduc." (Yeah, it's not original.)" Ash said.
"Jeidtj meho cabo xaj fuhodkj cejk u rok." (It sounds more like his parents lost a bet.)" The Prince said
"Ro daso vhem nxuk xo kect mo ak'j rokkoh dek ke kucb rut ureik xaj fuhodkj. (Be nice; from what he told me, it's better not to talk badly about his parents.)" Ash said.
"Okay." Prince Tricky said Slippy was finished with the translation program.
"Thanks, Slippy." Fox said.
"No problem, Fox. I had also informed General Pepper about the status of the mission, and he said, Since there is a functional spaceship on the planet, you are clear to use what you have with you in your wing, but try to find out how the Sharpclaw gets that ship." Slippy told Fox.
"Right," Fox said.
The three make their way out of there.
"So, how will we get the prince back?" Fox questioned.
"You don't have a remote control program in your fighter?" Ash questioned.
"Yes, but my fighter can't hold more than one person." Fox said.
"Does it have a storage department?" Ash questioned.
"Yeah, but for equipment," Fox said.
"But it's big enough to carry Prince Tricky?" Ash questioned.
"Unfortunately, no," Fox said.
"Great," Ash said.
"Yep," Fox said.
"Wait, don't you have a carriership?" Ash questioned.
"I wasn't allowed to use high-tech equipment." Fox said.
"Then you can go back and tell the Warpstone to transport us back." Ash said.
"Why me?" Fox questioned.
Ash and Prince Tricky give Fox a flat look.
"Fine," Fox said.
"Want me to try to fly your fighter instead?" Ash questioned.
"Not without proper training, you're not," Fox said.
"Then why did you question why you have to go since either I or Prince Tricky know how to fly a fighter or travel through space without a ship?" The human questioned.
"I meant how we're going to get him back to his mom from here since my ship is too small for all of us." Fox said.
"And that is why you need to fly fighters back to the planet and have the Warpstone teleport me and Prince Tricky back to the planet." Ash said.
"Alright," Fox said.
He leaves to find an ideal landing spot.
"It looks like we're waiting," Ash said.
"Yeah," Tricky said.
After a couple of hours, they start to glow.
'And this is why I get the ball.' Ash thought as he caught it.
Soon enough, they appeared in front of Fox.
"What took so long?" Tricky questioned.
"I ran into some obstacles," Fox said.
"Like what?" Both Ash and Tricky questioned.
"Sharpclaw for one," Fox said.
"Do they have fighters as well?" Ash was questioned in shock.
"No, but they did try to stop me from getting to mine." Fox said.
"Okay, now that that seals it, someone is telling them and their allies about life off of Sauria as well as helping them!" Ash said
"Anyway, we should get back to the Earthwalker Queen." Fox said.
Ash nodded and followed Fox.
After an hour, they made it to the palace.
Tricky rushes toward his mother.
"Mom!" He shouted happily.
Ash and Fox aren't happy as they see she hasn't moved from her spot.
"Tricky I'm so glad to see that you're alright," the Queen said.
"Mom, are you okay? Where's dad?" Tricky questioned his mother.
The Queen explained.
Tricky started to cry.
"I'm sorry, Tricky," Ash said.
"You're not alone." Fox added.
"What do you mean?" Tricky questioned.
"I lost my dad as well." Fox answered.
"Really?" Tricky was questioned in surprise.
Fox nodded his head.
"I'm sorry," Tricky said.
Then a thought came to Ash.
'I better wait until I and Fox are alone to tell him about thought.' Ash thought.
After calming Tricky down, Fox walks out to contact Slippy.
"Hey! Slippy, are you there?" Fox questioned.
"Yep, what's up?" Slippy questioned.
Fox informs his friend about the mission so far.
"I see it's quite unfortunate to hear about Tricky's dad." Peppy said.
"But the Sharpclaw knows about spaceships and how to pilot them, and a ship on that without anyone knowing about it isn't good either." Sliipy said.
"True, which means that there's someone else behind this." Fox said.
"Like other Cornerian generals?" Slippy said, remembering what happened on their last mission with Falco.
"Possibly we'll need to be extra careful." Fox said.
"I think I figure out who is truly behind this!" Ash said as he walked towards the todd.
"Who do you mean?" Fox questioned.
"The person using the Sharpclaws and their allies is Andross! From what you and Krystal told me about him, he was a Cornerian scientist before his exile, and we know he was the reason Sauria and Cerinia had switched places; he would have the codes for the drones." Ash answered.
This shocks Fox and his crew.
Then Fox facepalms.
'I should have known even in the grave that ape was causing trouble!' he thought.
"This isn't good," Peppy said.
"I'll inform General Pepper." Slippy said.
"Alright," Fox said.
Fox turns off his comms.
"So what do we do now?" He questioned.
Ash looks at the orange sky.
"We rest," he answered.
"Fine by me, I haven't yet anyway." Fox said.
'At least there's no way the girls will see this report.' Fox thought.
Suddenly, his communicator beeped.
"Hello?" Fox questioned.
"Hello Fox." A female voice said.
"Uh oh," Fox said.
On screen were his two girlfriends.
"Hey, Fara and Lucy, what's up?" Fox questioned, hoping it isn't what he thinks it is.
"We just got off the phone with Slippy," Fara said.
"And he told us something interesting." Lucy said.
'Uh, oh.' Fox thought.
"Mind telling us about this "Krystal"!" Lucy said this while using air quotes.
"I promise you, I've only heard about her from her friend who's teamed up with me." Fox said.
"And Andross?" Fara questioned.
"Apparently he's behind what's happening to this planet." Fox said.
"That seals it!" Lucy said.
"WE WILL BE ARRIVING SOON!" both said as they cut off the communications.
"Oh no," Fox said.
"What's going on?" Ash questioned.
"My two girlfriends are coming," Fox said in fear.
Ash didn't need to ask, 'How mad are they?' Fox's Arua answered that question.
"When they get here, you have to help me explain the situation with your friend." Fox said.
"Yes, sir," Ash said.
"Thank you," Fox said.
So our two heroes went to Ash and Krystal's cave while on the Great Fox.
"LUCY! PICK UP EITHER YOUR PHONE OR YOUR COMMUNICATOR NOW!" Peppy shouted into a computer.
Soon enough, his daughter answered.
"Dad, I don't have time to talk." Lucy said.
"Now seems like a pretty good time to talk," Peppy said.
"No! It doesn't mean I have to stop a blue-coated tart from trying to steal my and Fara's man!" Lucy said.
"You're jumping to conclusions. From what Fox told us, he never even met her face-to-fac, just her voice." Peppy said.
"In his mind, who knows if she is programming Fox to be her slave?" Lucy said.
"I doubt that since the person Fox is teaming up with said that she never uses her powers for stuff like that." Peppy said.
"And how do you know he isn't lying about it?" Lucy said.
"Because he told Fox how her power works, which is telepathy." Peppy said.
"The ability to read minds is all we know!" Lucy said.
"Yes, but this person who Fox says is named Ash told him that he's been with her for a while and she exhibited no other ability than telepathy." Peppy said.
"I'll question him myself!" Lucy replied as she hung up.
"Ugh, that girl is too much like her mother." Peppy said.
"I miss that crazy doe." Peppy said it with a grin on his face.
Back with our heroes.
Ash leads Fox to the cave that he and Krystal live in.
"Here we are, sweet home," Ash said.
Foxes look around the cave.
"Homey," he commented.
"Krystal did all the work." Ash said.
"I see," Fox said.
Ash shows Fox what is inside the cave.
"Wow," Fox said.
"Yeah, it's amazing." Ash said.
As they walk around.
As they enter the kitchen area of the cave.
"Alright, let's make something to eat." Ash said.
Ash uses his aura abilities to start a fire.
"Those abilities of yours come in handy." Fox said.
"Wow," Fox said.
"Yeah, and it's because those abilities are the reason why there are very few Aura Guardians left on my planet; too many normal humans have feared us both with and without our allies." Ash said.
"Man, that's not good." Fox said.
"It's fine. Those people aren't around anymore, and the Aura Guardians are slowly returning." Ash said.
"That's good," Fox said.
Meanwhile on Earth.
"Soon the descendants of The Betrayers will pay!" a middle-aged man who wears a black formal suit with a white long-sleeve button shirt with a red tie at the collar. He has short, brown hair and wears black dress shoes while looking at two pictures of Nurse Joy dressed as a nun and Officer Jenny dressed as a middle-aged soldier.
who is this man? And what is he planning?
Tune in next time to find out.
