Todd Scouts!

Krysta had entered the lair. She looked around and saw Mikey sitting by himself she could hear the boys sparring in the other room. Mikey was watching them. The boys looked tired Donnie was twitching somewhat. It was then she noticed that he didn't have his wrist phone or his battle shell. And something about him Leo and Raph seemed empty. "What's with them our mission was a success," Krysta asked quietly.

"Yeah, but they didn't celebrate or anything." Mikey explained bitterly. She sat down beside him. "They haven't been themselves since that night at the restaurant. Krysta looked at the three they did seem slower and hollow in their movements.

"Also…..I'm sorry it's so stupid and probably nothing." Mikey added.

"No, it's not tell me," Krysta assured.

"Tiger Claw hasn't spoken to me since the night at the restaurant either. We used to text each other every day. I wanted him to go with me to my first appointment."

"I'll go!" Klunk declared jumping on his head. Mikey looked up and smiled before looking guilty and hanging his head back down.

"Aww Klunk I forgot about you I'm sorry!" Mikey muttered sadly.

"He's probably just busy. We'll track him down later," Krysta assured thinking about stressed and miserable everything got since that night when they found Mikey.

"I'll take Mikey to his appointment too! Ever since Donnie focused on training it's being boring around here!" the little robot complained before sighing. "I miss him."

"Me too," Mikey muttered as Klunk nuzzled Mikey.

"I just texted April; She'll meet you on the surface and you can all go together." Krysta assured.

"That's good," Mikey said gratefully.

"Krysta come on the training session is gonna start." Leo said to her passing by and waving her towards the garage. It was uncharacteristically serious almost like another Hamato Leonardo, possessed the body of theirs.

"I'll see you guys later." She said as they got in the Turtle tank. Mikey, Shelldon and Klunk watched it take off.

"BUUUUDDDDDYYYY!" shouted Franken-Foot who slumped over disappointed Raph went right by him again.

"Geez it's starting to suck around here!" Shelldon moaned.

"Come on guys my appointments coming up soon." Mikey said sadly as he turned to leave. He thought of something. "Franken-Foot you can come if you want!"

"Buddy!" he said jumping up and hugging them tightly and nuzzling them as if he had been deprived of all contact since a couple weeks ago; which was probably true.

"Tiger Claw it's me Krysta!" Krysta texted, "Mikey said you talk to him every day why aren't you now?! Call him!"

Sent….

Krysta stared at the icon Tiger Claw had on his phone it was of a gold crystal ball with four red stars. She watched it willing it to move. Willing Tiger Claw to answer, she glanced over the boys seemed to be in deep thought and had a dull thousand yard stare on their faces. She thought she heard someone prattling on but wasn't sure. She went back to her phone. It then was then she was suddenly grabbed by Splinter and thrown out of the tank. She yelped and looked up he had her and the boy's phones Along with their weapons and shut them and himself in the tank.

Within seconds he looked out the driver window. "You will come back better Ninja! Or not at all!" he declared before speeding off.

"AAHHHH! SPLINTER WHAT THE HELL!?" Krysta screeched watching him go. "Please come back," he was gone. "Your father just dumped us in the woods!" she shouted the three were standing attention.

"This is our wilderness survival training!" Leo explained emotionlessly.

"As Sensei said we come back better Ninjas or die trying!" Raph added firmly.

"I've only been managing not having my phone or my battle shell. This feels like too much but I must endure it because it is the Hamato clan way!" Donnie muttered a little manically.

"We don't the first thing about surviving without supplies!" Krysta groaned.

"That's why I'm here!" shouted a voice they all turned to see a Familiar to the Turtles Capybara mutant, wearing sunscreen and a scout leader outfit.

"Todd/Who!?" Krysta and the boys yelped.

"How'd you get here?" Raph asked.

"Uhhh we drove up together in your tank…like ten minutes ago!" he chuckled remembering the ride from that point.

"We're gonna learn knot tying, berry picking, sun blocking and learning to be best friends!" Todd explained happily. However the boys had a thousand yard stare at that point while Krysta was so fixated on her phone that she didn't even notice him come on board.

"Huh, I guess I didn't notice…." Krysta muttered a little sheepishly.

"You don't remember?" Todd asked surprised.

"Uhhh no," The boys replied nervously, as Krysta just grinned sheepishly.

Mikey found the place where Carol had worked it was a large hospital building. But it had other facilities there too according to April. He fiddled with his hands wildly as he had his hood up Klunk nuzzling him inside of it. Shelldon hovered scanning the building.

"Well the inside where your mom works look nice and cozy." He noted.

"Mom's on the third floor, we don't really have to talk to anyone till we get there." April assured quietly to Mikey who nodded.

They walked in; the bottom of the room was warm but sterile. He saw people sitting around and waiting as he followed April closely into the elevator. He let her take the lead letting her press the button leading to the third floor. Elevators felt weird but he was getting used to them. It dinged and opened on the third floor.

"Hey Shannon!" April greeted. "My friend Michelangelo is here for his ten thirty appointment."

Shannon nodded typing quickly into the computer, her cinnamon hair dropping a little with her head before bouncing back up as she looked up at April. "Oh here he is, just have him sign in and we'll be set." She said as April passed the Clip board to Mikey who began writing his name.

"Aww what a cute little drone did your friend Donnie, make that?" Shannon asked.

"I'm not cu-"April covered his mouth.

"Yes he did!" she said laughing nervously before hissing at him to stay quiet he growled under her hand but complied. Franken-Foot had already gone over and behind to play with a car but accidentally tore off his arm. He grunted in surprise.

"I'm done," Mikey muttered handing the clip board back.

"Okay sweetie, just have a seat." Shannon said as Mikey looked around and did so finding a chair off in the corner. April and Shelldon were trying to repair Franken-Foot as he held Klunk tightly. She had turned herself into a plush version of herself. Mikey thought back to when he was small he had, had a scary dream. He remembered blue and pink flames everywhere. It was hot and hard to breathe. Something had wrapped him up roughly as he went flying through the air. Then as he rose the fire followed them quickly. He remembered waking up in tears and running to Draxum.

He raced into the Yokai's private study it had a wall of books and a desk with a few scientific tools on it. Right now he was winding down reading. He burst in.

"Draxum….I, I…." The Goat Yokai stood up walking to him aggressively and rearing his hand back, Attila immediately stopped and stood attention

"Attila, what are you doing sniveling to me?" Draxum growled.

"I….had a bad dream….." Attila admitted.

"Ridiculous, what are you?" Draxum.

"I...uhhh-"

"Answer the question!" Draxum snapped.

"A Soldier!" He yelped.

"That's right," Draxum hissed. "Do soldiers whine to their superiors over insipid things?"

"No…." Attila muttered feeling ashamed.

"No what?" Draxum snapped.

"No…sir!" Attila muttered scared.

"They are brave, fearless! So they show fear at the smallest thing?" Draxum growled.

"No they do not sir." Attila muttered.

"Do they need to be comforted?" Draxum asked.

"No sir," Attila muttered feeling even more shame now.

"Lou Jitsu was a fearless warrior able to fight and take down the mightiest and most vicious of Yokai! Your destiny is to destroy the Human Race with an Army at your beck and call. Warriors will not respect one as weak willed as you are. And the humans will tear you apart! The fact that you desired comfort is disgusting get out of my sight if you know what's good for you!" Draxum snarled.

Attila hung his head and slowly walked out.

When Mikey came back to reality, he noticed April was holding his hand. "Mikey?" Klunk asked looking up at him nervously.

"Dude you looked like you were having a bad dream." Shelldon noted.

"I….I'm fine." Mikey muttered quickly.

"Michelangelo, Doctor O'Neil will see you now." Shannon called.

"Uh coming!" Mikey called nervously as he stood up April had already taken Klunk out of his hands. Shelldon went to fallow but noticed April wasn't.

"Well, let's go." He said to her.

"We can't its private session between him and my mom." April explained.

"So we can't go in with him." Klunk asked sadly.

"We'll be here when he gets back." April assured.

"That's so lame." Shelldon huffed.

Mikey found himself in a large warm tan colored room. There was a recliner in the room where Carol was sitting waiting with a smile. He could see pictures of April and her late husband and a few posters including one with a kitty hanging from a branch with the words hang in there. There were some motivational poem posters too. Mikey walked over and quietly pointed to the large red couch.

Carol nodded and Mikey sat in it. "Don't be afraid to lie down." Carol assured.

"Okay," Mikey muttered more comfortable but still unsure how this works. He sat down tapping his fingers together. "Carol? If I get better will my brothers go back to normal?"

"What you mean?" Carol asked surprised tilting her head a little.

"Ever since, we rescued Krysta they've been training non-stop and nothing else. They don't even do their favorite things during down time because they've given them up! And they've stopped acting like themselves completely! And they're miserable and I know their miserable because that's how I used to live. I would get up; eat train for half the day. Eat, learn about mystic powers, eat then sleep. Nothing else all day every day! And maybe I'm selfish for hating that but. I look at them and I can tell their miserable. It's some bad power I have where I look into something eyes and I feel things and start crying or freezing.

"Mikey that's empathy it's not a bad thing to have. Draxum is wrong to tell you that." Carol explained. "As for your brothers that is concerning. Where are they now?"

"The Woods," Mikey replied.

In the Woods…

"Survival lesson one: Food!" Todd instructed. "We have none. So what would you eat?"

Raph picked up a large rock and made a motion to bite into it. "Wrong!"

Donnie picked up a stick while Leo wrapped his arms around his twin and opened his mouth glancing at Todd. "Wrong, wrong, you're terrible!"

"What about these?" Krysta asked pointing to some bright red berries.

"NO! THOSE ARE NO-NO BERRRIES!" Todd declared in a deep mighty voice that sounded uncharacteristic to his body as lightning struck behind him.

"Message received…" Krysta muttered ears drooping and eyes wide.

"Don't forget!" Todd cheerily warned.

Back at the appointment…

"Therapy can take a lot of time maybe even years." Carol warned. Mikey hung his head. "But the problem with your brothers can be solved now. You're going to have to talk to Splinter about this." Carol instructed.

"What if he doesn't listen or put me down!?" Mikey cried before covering his mouth. "Sorry," He muttered quietly. He subconscious began rubbing where Draxum hit him.

"Has Draxum hit you?" Carol asked.

"A lot….." Mikey admitted fighting back his tears. "Hard too; not little swats like Splinter, which he's never done to me."

"You've been very brave." Carol softly told him.

"I have, how?" Mikey asked.

"Surviving him and getting away." Carol sighed before going back to Mikey's concerns. "Even if they don't agree, and you come to me if Splinter says anything. They're not Draxum. They'll understand your feelings at the least.

"Thank you Carol," Mikey muttered weakly.

"And you tie the knot off like this against the tree and-"Todd said tossing a stick into the trap where it was instantly caught and pulled off. "That is how you do a Triple leg Snare knot, which would be great for catching some food!" Todd instructed to them, "if, you eat meat that is, so mostly catching new friends!"

"Good Ninja traps too…" Donnie muttered focusing but his eye was twitching ever so slightly, but not slightly enough that Krysta hadn't noticed. Was he slowly having a mental breakdown that was slowly getting worse every time she saw them since the incident with her and Big Mama?

"Lesson two: Shelter!" Todd instructed to them as they moved on the sun getting low in the sky now. It was clear they were spending the night out here now. Krysta was used to sleeping outdoors without bedding. She did wonder how the boys would fare though. "When making the perfect Shelter make sure it has protection from the Elements." He said pointing to a cave. "And a water source for drinking!" he said pointing to a river before dunking his head in and pulling up a large trout in his mouth. In the setting sun the water in his hair and mustache reflected as he shook them out. They had a wet luster and smoothed out to where he looked like a Capybara Fabio.

"Whof hunnry?" he asked with the fish in his mouth.

"I am!" Raph said in relief for the break. Krysta suddenly smelt steam. Todd hadn't made a fire that fast it wouldn't have smelt like that either. She began to follow the smell and found it was coming from the nearby cave. She had a look inside quick and smiled at what she found, before quickly running back to the others.

"Lesson three; FIRE: Nature's stove!" Todd happily declared as he had set up the fire and cooked the large Fish he had captured as Raph was struggling with a large fish in his mouth that Leo and Donnie were currently trying to help pull out of his throat. When they did so Leo dragged it over and found he couldn't find a stick to cook it on.

Todd had helped him after that it was Lesson four.

"WHERE AM I!" he called the name of the lesson before he began monologuing about ways they could navigate in the wilderness with the sun. Krysta tapped the boys on the shoulder and rose up between them.

"Follow me." she whispered as she had them sneak away from Todd. He didn't notice thankfully as she led them deeper in the cave.

"Is it me or is it getting foggy in here?" Raph asked as mystic crystals had begun to line the cave walls.

"I think this is actually steam." Leo muttered.

"You're right!" Krysta declared with a grin as she showed them the Hot Springs she had found earlier. She could see it in their eyes. They wanted to jump in. "Isn't great? A nice way to unwind and relax!"

"We don't have time to relax! We're in the middle of very important training!" Raph scolded shaking out the temptation in his eyes. Leo and Donnie following suit with glared.

"Don't you think you've had enough? Yeah we're stuck out here but you guys really need to unwind. Donnie especially, it looks like he's been having a hard time." Krysta noted.

"Scoff! I am absolutely fine!" Donnie declared. "Who needs comfort items!? Not me!"

"Krysta, okay that just proves you're all miserable." Krysta muttered and that stuck a nerve with Donnie.

"GET THEE HENCE EVIL TEMPTRESS WE WILL NOT FALL FOR YOUR WICKED WAYS!" he declared angrily. "Where are my Battle Shell and phone!?" he added impulsively as Krysta just stared back with a half-lidded look.

"And we are not miserable!" Leo added.

"Besides it's good to get some formal training." Raph pointed out.

"You're right BUT!" Krysta replied playing devil's advocate. "It's silly (and damaging apparently) to do nothing but that! I get mystic power training and I've been learning Ninjutsu with you guys remember?! But I still make time for fun stuff like anime, video games, parkour."

"You're not doing it right," Donnie muttered judgingly.

"Our old selves get in the way of the mission! That's why we need to get rid of them!" Raph argued. Krysta just pinched the bridge of her snout.

"Okay, I'm putting this bluntly." She said placing her hands together and taking a long breath before exhaling. "Your ancestors were wrong if not straight up delusional to teach you that!" Krysta declared.

The three gasped in sheer horror. It was then a distressed scream from Todd had traveled down the cave. "Todd?!" Raph asked as they all rushed out. Krysta had found a canteen with his mustache drawn on it picking it up curiously. But she quickly caught up with them just in time to see.

A pair of strange men picking up a tied up Todd and tying him to the hood of a jeep as he sobbed, "Todd!" they all shouted. But it was too late he was Todd-napped as the Jeep drove off quickly.

"How are we supposed to find him if we don't even know where we are as Krysta made us miss lesson four and doomed him; Battle Phone and shell!" Donnie shouted.

"I did not doom him! They probably took him back to his camp. We just have to find it!" Krysta argued.

"Where ever it is," Raph sighed.

"I mean it's gotta be near water because lesson two: Shelter should be near water." Leo burst into a smile. "That's it they're at the river what is happening did you hear that! I actually learned something." He shouted excitedly.

"Well look at that, it looks like Hamato training has saved this one specific day and is not dumb or delusional!" Donnie boasted. "I didn't even need my phone or battle shell to deduce that."

"That's not what I was saying, at all for one thing. And for another….do you miss those two things?" Krysta asked. "How long have you been away from them?"

"NRRRRRRGHGGGGGGGG!" Donnie muttered twitching wildly.

"It's been two weeks now," Leo muttered with a judgmental look.

"Stop looking at me like that we need to find the River and get Todd back!" Krysta snapped as she started down the road.

"Hold on we should use everything Todd taught us to save him!" Raph declared. And within minutes they were all dressed as Todd Scouts which was a typical Todd scout uniform minus sunscreen on their noses and buck teeth engraved scarf buckles.

"Todd Scouts!" they shouted Krysta was just glad they had shifted gears even if it was something else, although Raph's uniform had suddenly ripped.

"Alright let's roll!" Donnie stated.

"His Teeth are massive Doctor!" said one of the nurses as they were tying Todd into a Dentist chair.

"Yes they are Doctor," Said another. "They're beautiful."

"What kind of Doctors are you?" Todd whimpered fearfully as they were in the process of tying him up.

"We're not Doctors we're Dentists." Said a man coming forward, "Who have a particular interest in collecting Rare and exotic Teeth." He said he was a well-built bald man with a long thin rectangular jaw. He wore yellow glasses over his eyes but mostly wore dentist attire. He had pulled off his mask and pointed to his straight teeth for emphasis. "And we've got you now Sasquatch!" he hissed venomously, pulling Todd's mustache a bit before laughing.

"Are we sure this is a Sasquatch Doctor Noel?" One of the Nurses asked looking at a blurry photo of Bebop and Rocksteady tumbling down a hill with the shoulder pads of the Dark armor, which had made a large hairy lumbering shape that was blurry he looked between the two. "He's pretty small."

"Oh who cares!?" Noel grumbled tossing the photo away. "His central incisors will look amazing, on my trophy wall." He said getting creepily excited about the idea as he talked rubbing his hands. As he dreamed of presenting his collection to esteemed tooth enthusiasts, shaking hands with two of his nurses.

"Ripping the tooth out painfully from the root should be a lot of fun for you Doctor!" said the blonde nurse holding a pair of tooth plyers.

"Oh you know me so well!" Noel said happily taking them.

"Umm would it help my case if I told you I was a Capybara?" Todd asked meekly.

"NO!" Noel declared before laughing maniacally; However just then a light suddenly went on outside.

"Oh the Nature force found us!" Noel snarled. "Cavity stations men! FLOSS THE PERIMETER!"

The three grabbed their dental themed weapons and immediately headed out side lock and loaded with floss. "I'll go left you go right! Come back with a bicuspid or don't come back at all!" Noel warned with a hiss as they split up.

The African American nurse had poked a nearby suspicious bush when he did he was instantly snared and pulled up along with his partner. "Two down one to go!" Raph said smugly. "Donnie how's part two coming."

"All, set fearless leader; you're about to find out why Todd referred to these as No-no berries." He said placing a couple in a blow dart and shooting them into the mouths of two guards. Instantly they began to react and rushed off somewhere to deal with the diarrhea.

"Now to get Todd, scouts on me," Raph instructed as they snuck towards the door, Then stealthily made their way inside.

"Clear!" Leo, Raph and Krysta muttered to each other.

"Zero percent Opaque!" Donnie said to them. As they went a little deeper in they saw Todd tied up on a dentist chair. Immediately Leo and Krysta rushed over and pulled what Krysta learned was floss out of Todd's mouth that was keeping it open.

"Todd, are you okay!?" Leo asked.

"You guys found me!" Todd said happily, but he remembered something. "Wait, where'd you guys go?"

Krysta began sweating beads as everyone stared at her; "Yeah Krysta where did we go?" Leo asked hotly. She gave him a dirty look that would've killed him if it could before sighing.

"Okay these three dum-dums," she said knowing it would bug Donnie and trying to get him to claim the phrase. But he hummed irritably in the background. "Have been so tense that I wanted them to take a dip in a hot springs I found in that cave at our camp." She admitted.

"You guys do seem a lot more strained than usual," Todd hummed thoughtfully to the boys. "In fact it's kind of worrying I hope nothing bad's happening." He said with a chuckle they were all sweating buckets now.

"We should go!" Krysta squeaked. There was suddenly an engine revving and instantly the force of something crashing behind them sent them crashing into the wall opposite of where they were.

They looked up dazed with their heads clearing to see a jeep with the two now freed assistants of the ring leader who grinned crazily at them ripping off his shirt to reveal his well-toned and muscled body. "Tooth Fairies, get me that Squatch!" he hissed with a crazed smile.

"Wow and I thought Marcus Moncrief was crazy." Raph muttered.

"Are they dentists!?" Donnie asked.

"They like to collect teeth." Todd whimpered.

"So we definitely should go! RUUUUNNNN!" Krysta screamed as they all turned and ran Raph making a weird scream as he carried Todd. Krysta's ears twitched then shuddered as she heard the engine of the Jeep rushing after them and the lead Dentist's maniacal laugh ringing not to far away from them.

"Those Big beautiful buck teeth trophies are mine!" he declared as he pulled out a bazooka of some kind that began firing darts at them. Krysta was trying to zig-zag but got her arms hit and instantly they felt weird a freezing kind of tingling shot up her arms.

"What the?!" Krysta yelped.

"Ah I'm hit!" Raph cried as he lost the ability to carry Todd who expertly jumped off and began running on his own easily keeping up pace with the snapper. Donnie meanwhile was hit in his legs and back as without his battle shell he was vulnerable to them there which began to affect him completely.

"They're firing Numbing darts which it totally on Brand!" Leo warned as at least three suddenly buried themselves in his face. "Oh unf gev hif wid da numving darfs!" he slurred as he began to fall.

"Leo!" Krysta cried out. Todd however rushed over and picked her up.

"lef uf Tovv safe urr self." Leo slurred again as Todd picked him up off the ground.

"A Todd Scout never leaves a Todd behind!" He declared as he rushed and grabbed Donnie and even Raph and began running at a speed Krysta couldn't even believe. He quickly ducked in a nearby cave as they drove by.

"Where are they!?" Noel spat. "Sasssssquaaatttchhh wherrreee areeee youuuu?" he sang crazily.

"If my arms weren't numb I'd be freezing their asses right now." Krysta groaned. As she shifted to get more comfortable something fell out of her pocket that Raph noticed and picked up with his good arm.

"What's this?" Raph asked.

"Oh it's Todd's canteen he dropped it when he was kidnapped." Krysta explained. "At least I think it's his."

Todd saw it and gasped. "My Lemonade especial!" he said excited. "This is will save us!" he said grabbing the Canteen. "Stand back everyone this is gonna get wild."

"Oww?" Leo asked completely frozen from the waist up. Todd didn't answer he just chugged the whole thing as fast as he could.

"Todd I don't think-"Krysta began but suddenly there was a burst of energy that rushed out as electricity began to charge around Todd and the ground broke beneath his feet. Krysta gasped as she could hear the energy surge upward around him from his feet to his hair which was now starting to change shape. His eyes were, glowing a bright blue as veins burst around him as his body began to become more muscular.

"LEMON RUSH!" He shouted as energy surged.

"I will never, doubt you again…" Krysta muttered in awe.

As Noel looked around and listened to the ground he suddenly heard something that made him gasp. Footsteps coming towards them; "What is that?!" the Blonde Nurse cried and pointed. All that came out was a small squirrel that looked cutely at them. Noel just laughed. But suddenly there was a rumbling.

A huge wave of woodland critters had rushed out at them. And at their head high in the sky in front of the moon in a golden light with Spiky hair and Mustache was Todd who pointed forward. "LEMON RUUUSSHHH!"

"The true power of the Sasquatch!" Noel muttered fearfully craping bricks and sweating beads. Thinking quickly he began kicking away several Squirrels flying at him as one and a large Jack Rabbit plastered themselves on the windshield trying to get to the nurses. Several had jumped Noel and were scratching his face. He had managed to throw them off. But the animals had grown quickly in number.

"Tooth Fairies retreat!" he cried as he began to run his Nurses not far behind. Todd clenched his hand and instantly the three were pulled under the stampede of Woodland Creatures Noel had been struck in the face by a beaver clutching his face he ran as fast as he could disappearing as the kids watched in awe.

"Whollllly Lemonade…." Krysta muttered.

"Todd's Magnificent!" Raph stated as the sun began to rise Todd with his hair down like Fabio again on a Deer the woodland creatures standing behind them like a loyal army to their King as they looked over the now safe and quiet forest. He turned to see the three turtles toad bowing.

"Teach us all you know Master!" they declared as Todd Tilted his head, Krysta merely laughed nervously.

Lightning struck around his mansion. Crows cawed as clouds began to storm around him. He had lost the Squatch but he already had sights on his next target. Doctor Noel lightly touched the large claw marks in his face still tender but much better as he looked at a picture of Raph lightly touching the picture around his mouth.

"Ooohhh that Snaggle Tooth!" he said lustfully before stabbing it with one of his numbing Darts. "I MUST HAVE IT!" he growled with intense declaration and laughter.

We'll come back to that later but for now, We're in the endgame strap in people…..and this was the last meant to be comical chapter!
