Chapter 2: Fiore

Sasuke looked at the ginormous being in front of him.

The being was a dragon about the size of his Perfect Susanoo he can say.

Strangely the dragon was colorless. Its color was more transparent than anything. Almost as if it was a ghost. The only color Sasuke could see was the piercing glowing white eyes staring at him.

'Who are you?' Sasuke asked, a curious expression on his face.

'I suppose introductions are in order. I am the almighty Shizen. The dragon of dragons.' Shizen boomed.

Sasuke nodded. 'I am Sasuke Uchiha. What am I doing in this place?'

Sasuke could see nothing but an expansive white environment. Almost like a limbo of some sort.

'I am here to train you and mold you to become stronger than you ever were.' Shizen said.

Sasuke's eyebrow raised. 'And what do you get out of doing this?'

'Peace. I've lived a very long life, Sasuke. I've seen countless deaths and evil wrongdoings. I look inside you and see a ray of hope and change. Someone who wants to be better and do better. I put my trust in you, Sasuke.' A reminiscing Shizen said.

Sasuke nodded. 'I understand. What type of dragon are you Shizen?'

'I am the Infinity Dragon King. The true first. I've been watching behind the scenes since the beginning, but no one knows of me. Until you as of now.' Shizen said.

'When do we start training?' Sasuke asked.

'Now Sasuke. I will teach you everything I know.' Shizen said. 'It will be for a long time, so be prepared.'

Sasuke clenched his fist and raised it. 'I will change the world.' His determination and conviction was evident.

'Hm show me Sasuke.' Shizen said.

It's been thirteen years since that fateful day and Sasuke trained and trained. He was grateful for the gamer power, it was very helpful in improving himself.

Occasionally on his breaks, he visited the Kingdoms and different places of Earthland to get a feel of the areas.

Shizen told him to stay out of the way of conflict and any politics that went on in order to protect him. Sasuke trusted his word and did just that.

Speaking of Shizen, he could never be Sasuke's biological father, but he was the closest to it than anyone else that's for sure. Shizen did more than train him, he gave him wisdom and insight on a lot of things. It gave Sasuke more of a reason to stay on this new path he took in this world.

After a long while, once he and Shizen really grew a close bond, he showed him his past. Shizen was surprised at the different Sasuke he saw. So consumed by darkness, revenge, and vengeance. How he has changed, but Shizen didn't judge the Sasuke of the past, he could see the changed man he was today and will continue to be. He told him his past didn't matter. The past didn't determine his destiny.

Recently Sasuke has been thinking about joining a guild and figured this would be a great time to do it. He has been looking around, but hasn't really found anything he liked. Now he was in the Kingdom of Fiore, walking the streets of Hargeon.

He wore new attire. (Sasuke Shiden clothes) He recently bought it and thought it suited his style. He remembered the final spar he and Shizen had.

-Flashback-

'Super Planetary Bansho Tenin.' Sasuke calmly said the technique.

Sasuke pulled 30 medium-sized planets out of space and directed them to Shizen.

Shizen chuckled. 'Going all the way this soon Sasuke?'

Sasuke competitively smirked. 'Always.'

'If that's the case then Infinity Dragon God's Roar!' Shizen yelled.

A massive rainbow colored blast engulfed the 30 planets coming at him.

BOOOOMMM

A massive planetary sized mushroom cloud ensued after.

Sasuke, knowing Shizen wasn't close to done, immediately started another technique.

Before he could finish, he heard Shizen.

'That's enough Sasuke.' Shizen said.

Sasuke canceled the technique. 'But we just started?'

Shizen looked proudly at him. 'I've seen enough after all these years to know you're more than ready. I'm extremely proud of you Sasuke.'

Sasuke couldn't help the smile that formed on his face. 'Thank you Shizen.'

Shizen nodded. 'It's been an honor training you and giving you knowledge of this world. You were like the son I never had.'

'Likewise Shizen. I thank you for everything you've done for me.' A grateful Sasuke said.

'Well now it's time for something new for you. Find something you can do. Maybe join a guild. And Sasuke…' Shizen started.

Sasuke gave him a questioning look.

Shizen teasingly smiled. 'Find love. I do want some grandchildren of course.'

Sasuke shook his head with a smile. 'I'll see what I can do.'

-Flashback End-

Shizen told Sasuke he'll be on the sidelines and if he needed him let him know.

Luckily during training, Sasuke acquired a gamer skill that lets him suppress all of his power to that of an above average wizard's. He was glad he did, or else the entirety of Earthland would crumble underneath just a bit of his power.

Sasuke's thoughts paused as he felt a bump on his side.

'Ouch!' He heard a thud and a woman's voice.

Sasuke looked down to his left.

He saw a blonde-haired young woman with brown eyes. He figured she was a celestial mage from the keys he noticed. He held his hand to her.

'Hey are you alright?' He asked her.

The blonde-haired young woman, Lucy Heartfilia, stared wide eyed at the handsome man in front of her. This was the type of man she would see in the magazines she read but better. She blushed red as she took his hand and was pulled to her feet with ease. So strong. She thought, flustered. 'Y-Yes I'm fine. I'm L-Lucy Heartfilia. What's your name?' Lucy asked as she tried to get herself together.

'Sasuke Uchiha. Where are you heading Lucy?' Sasuke asked.

'Well I heard the famous Salamander was in town, so I was heading in that direction. Wanna join me Sasuke-kun?' Lucy warmly smiled at him, internally hoping he'd say yes.

Sasuke shrugged. 'Sure.'

Lucy brightened up. 'Great! It's this way Sasuke-kun.' Lucy led the way and Sasuke followed after her.

'So what were you doing Sasuke-kun?' Lucy asked him.

'Lately I have been trying to find a guild to join, but have come up short. I'm still looking.' Sasuke said.

'It's been the same for me, Sasuke-kun. I want to join a guild also. I'm a Celestial Mage even though I don't look like much.' Lucy smiled at him. 'What type of wizard are you?'

Before Sasuke could answer, he and Lucy looked to see a crowd of females in a huddle around someone.

Sasuke guessed this was the 'Salamander' person Lucy was talking about. He right away noticed the charm spell on his hand that he tried to disguise in a peace sign.

'Close your eyes Lucy. He has a charm spell. Don't worry I'll protect you.' Sasuke said in reassurance.

'Alright I trust you Sasuke-kun.' Lucy closed her eyes immediately.

Sasuke walked to the Salamander person.

When he got in the middle, the charm spell simultaneously broke from everyone else as they stared at him.

'He's way more handsome than Salamander!' One of the girls said.

'Yeah I wonder who he is!' Another said.

'So cool and mysterious!' A third one said.

A jealous Salamander looked at Sasuke with envy. 'Who the fuck are you?'

'Who I am doesn't matter. What are your motives for using that illegal charm spell?' Sasuke's eyes narrowed at him.

'Well that's none of y-' 'Salamander' started.

'Igneel it's me!!' They turned to see the pink-haired newcomer and a blue cat Exceed.

They watched as the bright smile on his face turned to a blank look. 'Wait you're not him. Who are you??'

Salamander poured more power into the charm spell, so it can have a stronger effect. 'Who am I?? I am Salamander, surely you've heard of me before??' He smiled.

Sasuke and Salamander watched as the girls jumped the pink-haired stranger.

'Oh-hoo! Ladies calm down I'm sure he just wants an autograph. Just like this kind sir here.' Salamander signed two autographs and dropped them in front of Sasuke and the stranger.

'I must take my leave now ladies. I'm having a party on my yacht tonight and you're all invited!!' He deviously smiled.

Sasuke watched as the man disappeared. I will most definitely check that out whenever it's time. He's planning evil schemes. Sasuke thought to himself with assurance.

Sasuke of course accepted the quest and walked back to Lucy. 'You can open your eyes now Lucy, he's gone now.'

Lucy did it and gratefully smiled at him. 'Thank you Sasuke-kun for protecting me from that pervert.'

The pink-haired man and blue cat Exceed approached them.

'Oi I'm Natsu Dragneel and this is Happy. Who are you guys??' The now named Natsu said.

Sasuke nodded to them. 'I'm Sasuke Uchiha.'

By Natsu's scent Sasuke could tell he was a Fire Dragon Slayer. Sasuke could also sense a dark concealed energy inside him.

He must be Etherious unknowingly. Interesting. Sasuke thought with intrigue.

'I'm Lucy Heartfilia and I was about to invite Sasuke-kun to eat, would you like to join us?' Lucy asked.

Natsu heard the word 'eat' and smiled a goofy smile. 'Why of course I would love some food!'

'Well then c'mon everyone.' Lucy led the way to the restaurant and everyone followed after her.

-Cutscene-

Sasuke looked on in annoyance and Lucy looked wide eyed from the amount of food Natsu was engulfing in his mouth.

He's worse than Naruto with his Ramen. Sasuke impulsively thought. He himself had a simple chicken salad.

'So what were you two doing?' Lucy asked Natsu and Happy.

Natsu swallowed all the food in his mouth and then answered the question. 'Well I'm looking for Igneel and when I heard that Salamander was in town I went to check if it was true…unfortunately it was an imposter.'

Igneel? Isn't he the Fire Dragon? Sasuke thought to himself. He remembered being told about him by Shizen.

'You know that Salamander doesn't look like a real one Natsu.' A deadpanned Happy said.

'Yeah a Salamander's not a human.' Lucy looked at Natsu like he was an idiot.

Natsu tilted his head. 'But Igneel is a dragon not a human'

'Idiot…if a dragon was here don't you think this place would be destroyed?' Sasuke looked at Natsu.

Natsu got in a thinking pose. 'Now that you say it Sasucakes, that's pretty true haha!!' Natsu laughed at himself.

Lucy facepalmed and Sasuke shook his head with annoyance at him getting his name wrong.

'It's Sasuke.' He said.

His slowness reminded him of Naruto. Now that he thinks about it, he did a lot of things that reminded him of Naruto and it was annoying, but nostalgic.

'Anyways, Sasuke-kun already knows, but I'm a wizard too Natsu, but I'm just not in a guild yet.' Lucy looked a little somber after she said it.

Sasuke noticed it and put a comforting hand on her shoulder. 'Don't worry, both of us will find a guild soon.'

Lucy blushed and bashfully smiled. 'T-Thank you Sasuke-kun.'

A teasing expression made it's way to Happy's face. 'My my look at the two lovebirds.'

Sasuke looked confused and Lucy jumped up from her seat. 'O-on that note I'll see you all later!!' Lucy rushed out of the restaurant,but didn't forget to pay.

Happy laughed hard and Natsu laughed with him, although clueless.

Sasuke stood up and started to leave.

'Wait for us Sausage!' Natsu grabbed his things and followed after him.

-Cutscene-

Though he could be idiotic at times, Natsu wasn't a bad person to talk to. He talked to Sasuke about his life and meeting Happy for the first time.

Sasuke knew if Naruto and Natsu met, they would be the best of friends.

The group stopped as they reached a port where boats could be seen.

Sasuke noticed the big yacht floating a few miles from the port and assumed it was Salamander's.

From the side Sasuke, Natsu, and Happy could hear a few girls from earlier talking about Salamander being a Famous Mage and mentioned that he was from the guild, Fairy Tail.

A thinking expression formed on Natsu's face. For the love of him, he couldn't remember the man at all.

Sasuke's eyes narrowed and he faced the direction the yacht was in.

He extended his senses to the yacht and felt Salamander's energy and a group of guys' energies. His eyes narrowed dangerously as he felt the many women's energies and even Lucy's energy.

Putting two and two together he assumed Lucy was coaxed into getting on the yacht. Salamander must have said he was from Fairy Tail, and Lucy did it because she wanted to join a guild.

Sasuke looked at Natsu. 'Come Natsu. Lucy's in trouble.'

Natsu's eyes widened. 'Wait, how do you know Sasuke??'

'It's one of my techniques to sense people from far away. Now you and Happy put your hands on my shoulder.'Sasuke responded.

'Wow! That's cool Sausage, you have to show me one day!' Natsu and Happy then put their hands on Sasuke's shoulders. 'How are you going to get to the yacht??'

'Teleportation.' Sasuke said.

Before Natsu could reply, Sasuke faced the yacht and teleported via Lightning Shunshin.

-Cutscene-

The bad feeling in her gut told Lucy not to come on the yacht, and she should've listened to it but didn't. Now she watched terrified, as the fake 'Salamander' set her up and now wanted to use her and the other girls as slaves. She couldn't help the tears falling from her eyes and she wished for someone to save her.

Wish granted.

The crying Lucy heard a thump and looked to see Sasuke, Natsu, and Happy.

Sasuke immediately noticed Lucy and went to her. He scanned her for any injuries. 'Are you okay? Did they hurt you?'

Lucy shook her head with a warm smile. 'No I'm okay Sasuke-kun. I thank you all for not forgetting about me.' Lucy then snarled angrily towards Salamander. 'He tricked me and said he was going to get me into Fairy Tail!'

As I thought. Sasuke turned to Salamander and flashed his Sharingan unknowingly.

Unsurprisingly, he was a fraud and the man's name wasn't actually Salamander. His name was Bora and he was a part of a guild called Titan Rose until he was kicked out for using Magic to aid in his thievery.

This man was cold and evil, and Sasuke wanted to kill him to rid this world's filth, but killing was much more consequential in this world.

'Happy quick grab Lucy! Me and Sasuke will handle them!' Natsu yelled at him.

'Already on it!' White wings sprouted from his back. He used his tail to wrap around Lucy and grab her.

'Wait since when do you have wings?!' Lucy exclaimed.

'Explanations later! We gotta go!' Happy lifted her and flew out the yacht.

Sasuke glanced at Natsu to see he was suffering from motion sickness as the boat started to move.

Since he was part Dragon Slayer, he knew what it felt like and it felt absolutely horrible. It was one of the things he trained his body to be able to endure and was glad he did so.

Sasuke looked at the thugs. It was about 20 plus Bora.

He nodded to himself. This will be light work.

'Quick get them! We can't let them report this to the Magic Council!' Bora waited for retort but heard none.

He turned around to see all of his gang knocked out and wrapped up in groups of 5 by metal wires.

His eyes widened with shock. 'W-What did you do to my men?!'

Before Sasuke could reply, he felt the boat shift hard.

-To Lucy and Happy-

Lucy found her Celestial Keys that Bora threw in the water.

She smirked. 'Here we go. Open gate of the water bearer, Aquarius!'

A royal blue mermaid appeared with a water urn.

'Aquarius I want you to put the yacht back in the port' Lucy directed.

Aquarius scoffed at her.

'Tch?! You're supposed to help me, not give me attitude!' Lucy yelled at her.

'Ooohh don't make her angry Lucy!!' Happy warned.

'Let's get something straight the next time you so much as think about dropping my key..I'll kill you.' She glared at Lucy.

'It won't happen again!' Lucy exclaimed and Happy joined in.

'Oh and another thing…' A tint of red appeared on Aquarius's face as she alluringly smiled. 'You should introduce me to that friend of yours when you get a chance…the black haired one.'

'Wait…you want to meet Sasuke?? I thought you had a boyfriend!?' Lucy loudly said.

Aquarius looked a little downcast. 'He cheated…'

Lucy gave her an empathetic look. 'O-oh I'm sorry Aquarius.'

'Yeah don't worry Aquarius! One man's loss is another man's treasure!' Happy tried to cheer her up.

Aquarius grinned gratefully. 'Hm let's just get this over with.'

Aquarius grabbed her water urn and used it to draw in the water and created a huge tsunami to take the yacht back to the shore of Hargeon.

Lucy and Happy screamed as it took them with it.

Once they were on the shore, they could see people questioning what happened.

'Hey you did that on purpose! You could have warned me before sweeping me up too!' Lucy chastised Aquarius.

Aquarius smirked. 'Maybe. I'm leaving now. Don't forget what I said about your friend.' Before Lucy could retort, Aquarius disappeared.

Lucy huffed and turned to see Sasuke and Natsu walk out of the rubble.

It looks like there were more. Sasuke thought as he could see more thugs standing beside Bora. He was about to take another step, but Natsu walked in front of him.

'Sit back Sasgay, I got this one.' Natsu looked at Bora with a serious expression. 'I'm Natsu of Fairy Tail and I don't recall ever seeing you.'

Lucy looked surprised. 'Wait Natsu is a Fairy Tail wizard?!'

Happy then explained how Bora was a poser and got exiled from the guild Titan Rose for his illegal magic.

Sasuke's eyebrow twitched with annoyance but he shrugged. 'He's all yours.' It would be nice seeing a Fire Dragon Slayer in action. Sasuke could gauge his power while he was at it.

Natsu rolled his sleeve up showing the red Fairy Tail emblem. 'I won't allow filth like you to throw dirt on Fairy Tail's name!'

Natsu slapped the approaching thugs out cold.

'Come at me!' He yelled towards Bora.

Bora smirked. 'As you wish. Prominence Typhoon!' Bora shot pink magical flames at Natsu.

Sasuke shook his head. Bad move. He thought. Shooting fire at a Fire Dragon Slayer?? How foolish.

'Ew, these flames are nasty as Hell.' Muffled Natsu.

Everyone except Sasuke watched with shock as Natsu ate the flames.

Natsu swallowed the rest. 'But free is free. I'm all fired up!'

'Natsu is a Fire Dragon Slayer mage and they can eat, breath, and absorb any type of fire.' Happy explained to a confused Lucy.

A terrified Bora stared as he watched Natsu charge up his attack.

'Fire Dragon's Roar!' Natsu yelled.

A large burst of fire knocked out Bora and the rest of the thugs. It also destroyed a good portion of Hargeon.

Not bad. Sasuke thought impressed. Natsu had potential and if he had this power now imagine how he would be with the other unconcealed power.

'Amazing! But look at the destruction!!' The loud Lucy said, looking at the destroyed Hargeon.

Sasuke and Natsu walked to her and Happy.

'Are you both okay?' Sasuke asked.

'Aye!' Happy said.

'Yeah thanks to you and Natsu, Sasuke-kun.' Lucy sweetly smiled at him.

'Pssh it was no problem. It was nice kicking his mocking ass!' Natsu smirked.

The group then heard loud footsteps and watched as the Ruin Knight Army approached quickly.

'Oh shit! We gotta go!' Natsu grabbed Lucy's and Sasuke's hands and ran fast.

'Wait where are you taking us!?' Lucy yelled out.

'You said you wanted to join Fairy Tail right!? So we're going! Sasuke you should join too, we could use a strong wizard like you!' Natsu yelled in a rush.

Sasuke didn't like being dragged,but he let Natsu do it for now. He watched a screen pop up in front of him.

Go to Salamander's yacht and figure out his motives.
