Chapter 3: Fairy Tail
The group made it to the Fairy Tail guild. It was a rather large building with many stories built into it.
'Welcome to Fairy Tail!!' An energetic Happy said.
'Yeah c'mon guys!!' A loud Natsu said as he walked up and kicked open the doors. 'We've made it back alive!!' He yelled.
Sasuke and Lucy watched as the chatter went down as everyone gave him and her curious looks.
'My my where did you find such a hottie Natsu?' They look to what they assumed was the bar, and saw a dark brown haired woman with matching eye colors.
'Oh you mean Sauceday Cana? We've met today! Him and Luigi want to join the guild!' Natsu bubbly yelled.
Sasuke's eyebrow twitched and Lucy facepalmed.
The two can then see a buck toothed man approach.
'So I heard you went all out in Hargeon Natsu had-' The man flew back into tables as he was kicked by Natsu.
'Wait why did you kick him Natsu?!' Lucy yelled, confused.
'You lied about that Salamander! I'm gonna kick your ass!' Natsu yelled.
The man got back up. 'I was just telling you about a rumor!! You wanna fight tho?! Let's go!!'
Chaos then escalated as everyone started to fight each other.
Sasuke shook his head as he dodged glass bottles. It seems like he was surrounded by even more idiots this go round.
'Can you believe we're actually in the Fairy Tail guild's hall Sasuke-kun?!' Lucy asked excitedly.
Sasuke was about to answer her, but got interrupted by a blue haired man with just underwear on.
'So Natsu's back huh? It's time we settle things!!' The man started to move but Sasuke took it upon himself to kick him in the chaos. This man should know decency especially in front of women.
'Nice one sexy. My name's Cana Alberona, what's you two's names?' The now named Cana said.
'Sasuke Uchiha.' Sasuke said as he tilted his head to dodge a piece of wooden table. He guessed this must of happened a lot because of the nonchalant looks on some people's faces.
'I'm Lucy Hearfilia. This guild is wonderful!' Lucy smiled.
'Indeed it is but the men have no class.' Cana said before she gulped down a large beer barrel.
Lucy stared wide eyed and even Sasuke was slightly surprised.
Ain't no way that beer wasn't nasty as Hell unless it was magically enchanted.
'Hey! Who the Hell kicked me?!' The blue haired man got up and looked around angrily.
He got kicked again by a white haired, tan man.
'That doesn't matter. Being manly does and I am a real man!!' Sasuke and Lucy watched the man get punched back by Natsu.
'Shutup Elfman!!' Natsu yelled at 'Elfman'.
'Geez it's so noisy around here.' They turned to see an orange haired man now. He smirked confidently until he got domed by a glass bottle.
Psshh he don't compare to Sasuke-kun. Lucy thought. He was cute but Sasuke-kun was on another level.
The orange haired man then jumped into the chaos.
'This place is wild.' Sasuke said as he looked around.
'It sure is Sasuke-kun. Don't look like there's one sane person in this place.' Lucy said.
'Hello are you both new here??' They both heard a voice and turned around to see a long white haired, blue eyed woman.
'It's Mirajane in the flesshhh!! I'm Lucy Heartfilia!!' Lucy fangirled, recognizing her from the magazines.
'It's very nice to meet you Lucy.' Mirajane giggled until she looked at Sasuke.
Her breath was caught as she started to turn red. The man in front of her was the most handsome man she have seen and this is coming from a woman who see male models on the daily.
'A-and who are you?? M-my name is M-Mirajane.' Mirajane said, flustered.
Lucy looked surprised. Sasuke-kun got Mirajane blushing!! Who would've guessed!! She thought jaw dropped.
Sasuke gave Mirajane a curious look. 'Sasuke Uchiha. Nice to meet you Mirajane.' Coming into vicinity with the different wizards, Sasuke could sense that they were all type of mages. Ice mage, card mage, and even take-over. He could sense Mirajane was also a take over mage, although a bit of her magic seemed concealed.
'Just Mira Sasuke-kun.' Mira cutely smiled at him before she got squashed by the huge Elfman.
'Mirajane noo!!' Lucy went to her.
Elfman got up and looked at Sasuke. 'Hey you! I can tell you're strong, but are you manly?!' Elfman ran towards Sasuke with his fist cocked back.
He punched him, but was surprised to see he actually punched Natsu back. 'Wait where'd he go?!'
Sasuke stood in Natsu's recent spot and thought. Well at least this place isn't a bore.
He watched as they started to charge up magic attacks and was about to shoot them, until-
'Would you fools stop bickering like children?!' A voice boomed.
The magic attacks canceled and everyone looked to see a giant black being.
Sasuke could tell it was a form and sensed its magic. He was impressed. Whoever it was had a large amount of magic power and could defeat a large portion of people. They hadn't to have been a regular wizard.
'I'm sorry I didn't know you were still here master.' Mirajane smiled.
'Haha what a bunch of wimps! Look like I w-' Natsu was stepped on by the giant.
'Looks like we have new recruits..HURR!!' The giant grunted loudly then morphed into a very small man.
'Nice to meet you both.' The man said as he friendly smiled.
Sasuke could say he didn't expect to see a midget, but he was a very powerful one.
'Wait this short guys in charge here??' Lucy bluntly asked.
'Of course let me introduce, the Fairy Tail guild master Makarov.' Mira said excitedly.
They watched as he jumped to the ledge on the second floor.
'You fools done it again! Just look at this amount of paperwork from the Magic Council!' Makarov held a stack of papers with his hand and groaned.
'However, I say to heck with the Magic Council.' He set the paperwork on fire and threw it. Natsu jumped up and started to eat the fire. Makarov then continued.
'Any power that surpasses reason still comes with reason right? Magic isn't some kind of miraculous power. It is a talent that only works with synchronization between nature and oneself. If all we did was worry about rules then our magic would never progress. Don't worry about the Magic Council, follow the path you believe in. It what makes Fairy Tail Guild number one!!' He ended the speech and cheers were heard.
Strangely it reminded Sasuke of Naruto's talk-no-jutsu.
'Come this way to get stamped with the Fairy Tail mark Lucy and Sasuke-kun.' Mirajane smiled before directing them to the bar.
Mira grabbed the stamp and asked them where they want it and what color. Lucy got hers in pink on her hand. Sasuke got his in black and on his right bicep.
'Look Sasuke-kun and I have the official Fairy Tail marks Natsu!' Lucy squealed.
'Welcome to the guild Sausage and Luigi!' Natsu congratulated as he looked at the request board.
'It's Lucy and his name is Sasuke!' Lucy growled.
'How come my Dad hasn't come back yet??' The group looked up to see a kid talking to Makarov.
'Wait patiently for him Romeo. He will be back in no time.' Makarov said.
'B-But sir, he told me he'll be back in three days..and he's been gone for over a week now!' Romeo pleaded.
'If I remember correctly he took the job on Mount Hakobe, but listen kid your old man's a wizard and he can take care of himself. Now go home have some milk and cookies and wait!' Makarov said, annoyed.
He got punched back by Romeo and Romeo ran off crying.
Sasuke watched the ordeal and if he remembered correctly, Mount Hakobe wasn't far from here. He heard a loud noise and seen that Natsu punched the request board.
Natsu and Happy then left.
Sasuke figured it was because Natsu could relate to Romeo in a way, considering he was looking for his lost father himself.
'I know it seems like Master doesn't care, but he is really worried.' Mira said, somberly. 'Natsu can relate to Romeo because many years ago his father left, well not really his father...it was a dragon.'
'A what?!' Lucy asked, surprised.
Mira giggled. 'That's right, a dragon. Natsu was raised, taught magic, and many other things by him. Until one day he left and never returned. Natsu now lives for the day to see him again.' She finished.
'Wow I didn't know that..' Lucy said, sorrowful. It was sad really.
'Don't worry Romeo's Dad will be found.' Sasuke nodded to Mira.
'Yeah we will help Natsu find him.' Lucy smiled as she agreed.

'Natsu, Lucy, and Happy grab on to me.' Sasuke said.
'Aye Sasuke!' Happy said and grabbed his left shoulder.
'Gotcha!' Natsu said after and then grabbed his other shoulder.
'Wait what are we doing Sasuke-kun?' Lucy asked, confused.
'I have a technique that we can use to travel faster.' Sasuke responded.
'Oh alright then.' Lucy wrapped her arm around his. 'Ready.'
Sasuke looked in the direction of the mountain and teleported via Lightning Shunshin.
-Cutscene-
'I-It's so cold here.' Lucy's teeth chattered.
'Well happens when you wear light clothing.' Natsu said, mockingly.
'Says you!!' Lucy yelled at him.
Sasuke took off his cloak and offered it to Lucy.
'Awe that's so sweet Sasuke-kun! Thank you.' A red-tinted Lucy smiled sweetly at him as she put it on.
'Macao where are you?!' Natsu shouted.
The group heard shuffling and jumped out of the way of the slam by a Vulcan.
Sasuke looked at it. A Vulcan huh? He could sense it's energy, but he could sense the Vulcan's energy, overpowering another energy. As if it took control of a body.
This had to be Macao and if it wasn't, it was someone else. Sasuke was sure of it.
He noticed the Vulcan turn its attention to Lucy with a devious smile.
Oh no you don't. Sasuke thought as he got ready.
The Vulcan sped at Lucy. 'OOhh me love some human woman!!' It had its hands out.
'AHH! Get this monkey!!' Lucy screamed.
It was surprised to see Lucy disappear and the now Sasuke smirking at it.
Sasuke roundhouse kicked the Vulcan hard. The Vulcan groaned loudly with pain as it was knocked into the side of the mountain.
'Whew thanks Sasuke-kun. That stupid perverted monkey.' Lucy huffed.
'Yeah great kick Sasuke! You gotta teach me that disappearing move you do!' Natsu cheered.
'Wait...how will we ask it where Macao is now?' Happy questioned.
'It's a Vulcan. Vulcans take over bodies and once their defeated, goes back to the original body. I'm sure this is the Macao you were talking about Natsu.' Sasuke said.
The three looked surprised at Sasuke's intelligence.
Like Sasuke said, the Vulcan morphed back to the familiar Macao.
'Macao!' Natsu ran to him. He held him on his body. 'We have to get out of this blizzard!'
'Come.' Sasuke directed them. They grabbed ahold of him and Sasuke teleported.
Sasuke reached the outskirts of the mountain and Natsu grabbed a blanket. He placed it down and laid Macao on it.
'C'mon don't die on me Macao! Your son needs you!' Natsu yelled at him.
They watched as his eyes moved, and then they opened.
'Natsu??' Macao asked.
'You're awake!' Natsu became ecstatic.
'I'm so pathetic. I defeated 19 of them, but the 20th got me.' Macao said with disappointment.
'Enough sappy talk, Romeo's waiting for you c'mon.' Natsu grabbed Macao's hand.
So far, Sasuke liked this guild. It was one of family, respect, and care between one another. He was glad he joined this one.
He noticed Lucy's expression and could tell she felt the same way.
-Cutscene-
'Yo Romeo, look who's back!' Natsu yelled happily to him.
Romeos eyes widened as he went to hug his father and both reconciled.
Sasuke, Natsu, Lucy and Happy then looked satisfied as they turned to start heading back.
As they were leaving they heard Romeo.
'Natsu! Happy! Thank you! You too Lucy! Sasuke you're cool and awesome thanks!' Romeo brightly smiled.

-Cutscene-
Sasuke's eyes opened as he woke up from the peaceful sleep.
After they told Master Makarov what happened, Sasuke felt it was time for him to kick in for the day. Lucy made sure to give him his cloak back and he wished everyone farewell and went to his apartment that he bought a while back.
It was a spacious apartment and was nice and homey.
Sasuke got up and started to get himself together.
Once he was done with his hygiene, he wanted something to eat. He warmed up 2 breakfast burritos and took out some fruit. He placed the hot burritos on a plate and put the fruit on the side of them. He grabbed one and took a bite.
He wondered what the plans was for today. He maybe was going to see what the request board had and get a mission. Hopefully it was good missions.
He finished up eating and washed the dishes. He wiped his hands and heard knocks on his door.
'Who is it?' He called out.
'It's us Sasuke!' He heard Natsu's voice and walked to the door.
Sasuke opened the door and could see Natsu, Happy, and Lucy.
'Hey Sasuke-kun! You doing okay??' Lucy warmly smiled at him.
'Yeah thanks. What are you all doing here?' Sasuke asked. He was curious on why Lucy was wearing a maid costume but decided not to question it.
'Well we wanted to see if you would like to join us on a mission.' Natsu smiled. 'It's going to be fun!'
'Sure. Let me grab my cloak.' Sasuke went back inside and grabbed his cloak. He then went outside and locked his door. 'So what's the mission?'
'Well Sasuke, we have to retrieve a book from a man for 200,000 jewels!' Happy said.
'It can evenly be split between the five of us.' Lucy said.
Sasuke nodded. 'Well let's get going.'
-Cutscene-
The group made it to the mission contractor's mansion and entered.
Once they got to the room they sat down.
'Hello. My name is Kaby Melon. Pleased to meet you all.' Kaby greeted.
'Melon!? That's making me so hungry!' Natsu groaned.
'Aye!' Happy agreed.
'Quit being rude you guys.' Lucy chastised. She wondered why the man's name sounded familiar.
'Haha don't worry I get that a lot. First things first, let me tell you about the job. Duke Everlue has a book called 'Daybreak' I would like you to burn it for me.' Kaby said.
'No prob!' Natsu said after.
'The reward for it also has been raised to 2 million. Destroy that book no matter the cost.' Kaby said.
'Two million?! Let's go guys!' Natsu, Happy, and Lucy rushed out, but Sasuke temporarily stayed back.
His eyes slightly narrowed as his sense of smell could tell that the man wasn't really a rich man and was lying. He wondered what this book contained and was curious.

Sasuke was most definitely interested in this Exceed egg. Ten minutes? Should be easy enough. Sasuke accepted the mission and quickly teleported via Lightning Shunshin.
-Cutscene-
'Wait where's Sasuke-kun??' Lucy looked around and seen him nowhere in sight.
'Aw c'mon don't tell me he ditched us?!' Natsu whined.
'Well it'll be more jewels for us right??' Happy shrugged.
'No..something's not right. Sasuke-kun wouldn't do something like that.' Lucy gained a serious expression.
'Who knows Lucy maybe Sausage didn't really wanna do the mission with us.' Natsu said.
'That s-' Happy started.
'I've got the book.' They heard Sasuke's voice behind them and jumped back.
'Where'd you come from!?' A scared Natsu shouted.
'Wait you've got the book already Sasuke-kun?? How??' Lucy asked.
'Well...' Sasuke started.
-Flashback-
Sasuke walked up to Duke Everlue's mansion and was stopped by a large man...woman?? Shit he didn't even know. It was an ugly ass maid that's for sure.
'Halt you have no business being here.' The maid said, but Sasuke quickly put the maid to sleep with his Sharingan.
He watched Duke Everlue walk out and look at him with shock. 'S-' Before he could call for help Sasuke flashed his Sharingan again and used it to send the man to get the book. Once the man gave it to him, Sasuke sent him back inside.
Well that was easy. Sasuke smirked before teleporting to Natsu, Lucy, and Happy.
-Flashback End-
'And that was that.' Sasuke smirked as he watched them give him surprised looks.
'Damn Sasuke you're amazing!' Natsu said with wide eyes, but amazement.
'Yeah that sounded cool Sasuke!' Happy agreed.
'Great work Sasuke-kun. Do you mind if I see the book?' Lucy asked.
Sasuke gave her the book and the trio watched as Lucy put on glasses and started to read it.
Sasuke already skimmed through it with his Sharingan and knew what was going on.
To summarize, the author of the book was Kaby's father and he made the book for Kaby. His father placed a Magic spell on the book and shuffled the words. It was suppose to be the best book his father ever wrote.
Lucy's eyes widened as she finished the book and took off the glasses. 'We've gotta go back to Kaby now! Hurry!'
The group rushed back to his mansion.
-Cutscene-
'Here's the book sir.' Lucy handed the book to Kaby.
Kaby looked surprised. 'Damn that was super fast and you all didn't destroy it??'
'You can thank Sasuke here!' Happy said.
Lucy explained to him the meaning behind the book and the things she found in it.
Kaby looked surprised as he opened it and the group watched as the magic spell reshuffled the words back to the original. The title read Dear Kaby.
Kaby broke down into tears and thanked the group dearly.
Sasuke told them to split the reward between themselves because he didn't want any. Natsu declined receiving the reward anyways because just like Sasuke, he knew the man wasn't a rich man, but he said they technically didn't fulfill Kaby's request.
Kaby and his wife thanked them again as they left back for Fairy Tail.
Sasuke watched a screen pop up in front of him.

Sasuke could see the egg in his inventory and decided he would look at it when he get back to his apartment. He nodded with satisfaction.
'So you mean to tell me they lied about being rich? We would have taken the mission either way.' Lucy walked, slightly disappointed.
'I don't think you would.' Happy said to Lucy.
'O-Of course I would!' Lucy retorted.
'Sure greedy.' Happy teased.
The group sat at a campfire.
'How could you tell it wasn't their house Natsu?' Lucy asked.
'Because it smelled like some other house.' Natsu said.
'Makes sense. That was a great book!' Lucy smiled as she remembered reading it.
Natsu smirked. 'Oh so you must be a writer Lucy??' He asked as he remembered the papers from earlier.
Lucy blushed hard with embarrassment. 'Gaaaahh!! Don't tell anyone!!' Sasuke-kun's gonna think I'm soo weird now! Damn you Natsu! She thought, flustered.
'You should let me read your story whenever you get it done.' Sasuke looked at her.
'B-But I'm a horrible writer Sasuke-kun..you won't like it.' Lucy turned more red.
'I'll decide that. I'll give pointers when I read it.' Sasuke said.
'Well..alright Sasuke-kun.' Lucy gave in.
The group finished up with their food and turned in for the night.
-Cutscene-
The next day, the group walked through a forest and was very lost. Sasuke wanted to teleport them back, but Natsu was stubborn saying he knew the way. Somehow, they ended up meeting an unclothed Gray saying he was there to use the bathroom...weird.
He talked about how they should quickly get back because a woman named Ezra was coming.
Natsu and Happy was petrified hearing her name.
They had to fight off some foreign members of a guild from trying to eat Happy.
The members were defeated and mentioned something called 'Lullaby'. It was strange.
Before they could question the members on it, some strange person appeared with quickness and caused them to disappear. The member then left with the same quickness.
All of it was curious to Sasuke. He told them to grab ahold of him so he could teleport. Gray questioned him at first, but the others told him to trust Sasuke. He did and Sasuke teleported them.
-Cutscene-
The others went inside the guild, but Sasuke said he had to get something from his apartment real quick and so now he was in his apartment.
He opened his inventory and took the Exceed egg out.
[Legendary Exceed Egg] : Something one of a kind is going to hatch.
The abnormally large egg was strangely pure black in color and seemed to be glowing a bit.
[Would you like to boost process?] [Yes] or [No]?
The eager Sasuke of course pressed yes and he watched as cracks appeared on the shell. The egg raised in the air and pieces of the shell shot out with force. Sasuke easily blocked them with his hand.
He noticed the room was now noticeably darker and felt colder.
He looked at what hatched and he was surprised.
It was a small black dragon slightly bigger than Happy with grayish-white wings and a grayish white midsection. He couldn't see its face because the wings covered it.
He heard a gnarly growl come from it as it opened its wings up. He could see the sharp and intelligent, piercing red eyes looking back at him.
If Sasuke wasn't an aware individual he wouldn't notice it, but he felt an almost unnoticeable pinch in his mind.
'Sasuke Uchiha..it's nice to meet you.' He heard the dragon's deep, raspy, and strong voice say to him.
'And who are you?' Sasuke figured it was the dragon who looked through his memories. He looked at the dragon, curious.
'I am the ancient King of Tartarous, Bahamut.' The now named Bahamut said.
'How did you come in an Exceed egg, I thought they only hatched cats??' Sasuke wondered.
'It seems it had something to do with that mysterious gamer power of yours...I was deceased but now I'm alive...it's intriguing.' Bahamut assumed.
'Well what are you here to do?' Sasuke asked.
Bahamut looked at Sasuke. 'Well my will is now yours it seems. I will give you knowledge and teach you my power.'
'And what is that?' Sasuke questioned.
Bahamut smirked an all tooth-fanged smirk. 'Abyss Dragon Slayer magic. A lost art. Let me know when you're ready, I take it you have somewhere to be. I'll be gone for now call me when you're ready.' He ended.
Sasuke watched with great interest as Bahamut flapped his wings and then flew into his shadow and blended with it. It was like he was never there.
Damn things sure was getting interesting. He smirked before he went back to Fairy Tail.
