|I'm alive! Sorry for disappearing like that. School's been keeping me busy and I almost forgot about the story (whoopsy). I won't be able to update regularly or quickly but I will at least be writing now. Hope everyone enjoys this story.|
The Clawthrone sisters arrive back at the Owl House where they are greeted by Hooty. The house demon shouts, "LULU! YOU'RE BACK! Wanna have some teeaaa?"
They both look over at the poor scout, who is still trapped in a personal hell, Eda just snorts and laughs while Lilith says, "Maybe later Hootsifer, right now we need to stop Luz from having a mental breakdown." She adjusts her spectacles and affectionately pats the bird tube. "Ok Lulu!" he says as he lets them inside.
"EEEEEEDDDAAAAAAA!" cries a hysterical Luz, "I'M SO SORRY I'M TRYING TO FIX IT BUT I CAN'T FIGURE OUT THE COMBOANDNOTHINGSWORKING" she started speaking faster and faster until her words became unintelligible.
"Whoa, whoa, c'mon kid keep breathing. Everything's fine. In fact me and Lilly think we want to stay like this for a while longer. Right Lilly?" Eda said as she soothed Luz.
"Edalyn is correct, we would like to stay like this for now, and I must admit having magic again is thrilling." Plus, she thought, I can make up for lost time with Eda now. "Everything is fine Luz. It's not your fault" soothed Lilith.
After a few deep breaths, a hug from Amity, and a noogie from Young Eda, Luz finally calmed down. "You guys are sure you're okay with living like this for a bit?" she asked.
"We're sure, kid." Eda said, rolling her eyes. She jumped on the couch and laid back. Lilith grabbed a book and sat down on the floor, "We'll discuss what we'll do tomorrow, everyone should get some rest, you all should go home. Sleep is important for growing witches." she stated.
Everyone leaves the Owl House for the night, Luz goes to her room to get some much needed rest, and the Clawthorne sisters sit on the couch quietly.
"Edalyn?" Lilith quietly asks. "Yeah Lilly?" Eda answers. "I-... I know you hate school but… would you want to give it another try now that multitracking is allowed and Belos is gone?"
After a short silence Eda responds, "As long as you endure that torture with me I ddon't see why not! Don't want Bumpy to get too comfortable now."
Lilith smiles and thinks to herself, I'll make it up to her… I swear I will.
