Later,

Hamato Yuuta was walking into Tokyo city. Frown on his face and stomach growling. "Hamato Yuuta? Is that you?" A voice asked, surprised and Yuuta looked to see a cook, smiling at him. "It has been a while since you have come here. You are always up in the mountains with that ninja clan of yours."

"I came to get a bite to eat. Are you still open?" Yuuta asked and the cook frowned. "You came all the way here, just to eat? Alone?" Yuuta sighed. "I am afraid so."

"Well, I do not close until a couple more hours. Come have a seat and I will prepare you a great meal. Oh, and don't worry about payment. It is on the house, as payback for your clan's help."

Yuuta smiled and took a seat. "Thank you, old friend. I am glad we were able to help you. I am still sorry you got caught in the crossfire during our war. If I could return your eyesight, believe me, I would."

"You do not need to apologize. It has been years now. You must learn not to be so hard on yourself, my friend." Yuuta sighed. "You are too kind, Murakami-san." The cook, Murakami smiled. "The world needs to learn to be more kind, does it not?"

"That is true."

While Yuuta was deep in thought, waiting for his meal, figures were hiding in the shadows. "I can not believe it." One of them whispered. "Hamato Yuuta, himself. Alone and defenseless."

"Please, tell me you are not thinking what I think you are thinking?" A voice squeaked in fear. "They say he is the greatest ninja ever. Well, let us see how great he is." The leader pulled a knife out of his pocket. "No! We can't!"

"Shut up, Dragon Face! It is because of him and his clan that the Purple Dragon gang can't make a living anymore! If we kill the leader, we end the clan. Now, does anyone else have anything to say?"

Silence. "Good. Now, watch and learn..."

Meanwhile, the teens were all running out of the club, laughing and smiling all the wild. "That was so much fun!" Shen exclaimed. "I told you I would give you the best night!" Kitsune said, her voice a little slurred. Akemi put her arm over her shoulder. "I will take you home, Kitsune."

"Do not tell...m-my mother I was drinking." Akemi chuckled. "I do not think I will have to." The others laughed when Shen stopped. "Yoshi, is that your father?" Yoshi looked to where Shen was pointing and frowned in confusion. "Yeah, it is. What is he doing here?"

"It looks like he is getting something to eat. Should we join him?" Usagi asked. "Didn't you eat all the food in the food bar, already? Besides, if he sees us, he will no doubt ground Saki and I and get the rest of you in trouble. Let's just try to sneak past him." Yoshi said and they were about to walk away when Kitsune made one last look at Yuuta and gasped. "YOSHI!"

Yoshi quickly turned back around, and his eyes widened when he saw a man sneaking up to his father and holding a knife over his head. Before he knew it, Yoshi was running towards him. 'How will I make this up to, Atsuko?' Yuuta thought, not knowing that the man was about to bring down his knife. 'She seems very upset this time, maybe I should-'

"POP, LOOK OUT!!!" A voice cried and Yuuta turned around, his eyes widened in horror when he saw a knife coming down at him. In that moment, his ninja instincts froze, and fear took over, realizing that he may die now. He squeezed his eyes shut and just then, he heard a grunt.

Confusion ran over him when the knife did not yet hit him. Yuuta slowly blinked open his eyes, only for them to widen in complete shock when he saw his attacker. A metal tip stuck out through his chest as blood poured. The man slowly fell on his knees and onto the floor and that is when Yuuta saw his son. Yuuta's eyes were wide as plates now, as he stared at his son. Terror was all over his son's drained face. He stood completely still as his body began to tremble violently. "F-F...F-Father?" He finally managed to get out, shakily.

Yuuta swallowed. "Y-Yoshi?..."

"Y-You...o-o-k?" He asked, forcing himself to look away at the body to look at him. "Yes...I am fine." He said slowly as he carefully got up and both eyes looked back at the body. Yuuta looked back at his son when he heard something cluttering on the ground. He saw that it was a Sai, his son's Sai that he carried around with him at all times. It was covered in blood and so was his son's shaky hand.

"Father..." Yoshi said, his breathing becoming uneven. "I-Is he...?" Yuuta glanced back at the body, that was pooling with more and more blood. Yuuta did not need to check to know that man was... "Yes Yoshi...he is gone."

Yoshi collapsed on his knees and started throwing up violently. It was then that sense started to return to Yuuta, and he just realized that his son, made his first kill. Not only that but he did it...for him. Yuuta looked back at Yoshi, as he continued to throw up, gasping and gagging as he did. Yuuta did not know what to do about this. He knew that Yoshi would kill eventually when he started on missions but...he never thought it would be this soon, when he was still young, when he was...the same age Yuuta was when he first killed.

Yuuta slowly began to walk over to his son, kneeling beside him and rubbing his hand up and down his back. "Breathe, Yoshi, breathe." He said in the softest voice he could master as Yoshi continued to throw up. Yuuta looked over his son to see his friends and Saki. Akemi, Kitsune, Usagi, and Chung I were staring in total shock, their mouths slightly open while Saki was in the middle of comforting Shen as she stared at Yoshi, crying.

After another minute, Yoshi finally stopped throwing up, but he was still shaking. Yuuta helped him on his feet. "Let us go home, Yoshi." Yoshi said nothing, he just looked down as his father began to lead him home, one hand on his upper back. He passed his friends who all gave him worried glances, but he refused to look at them. "Yoshi..." Usagi called gently but still, Yoshi could not hear or see, he could not even feel himself move as his eyes continued to stay wide open.

When they got home, Atsuko was walking down the stairs, but she froze, her face melting in concern when she saw the state of her son. "Yuuta, what happened?!" She demanded, her voice roaring with fear for her son as she fully came down the steps. Yuuta hesitated. "Yoshi...he...made his first kill." He cringed at his choice of words. He was making it sound like his son killed some kind of animal, but it was much worse than that. Atsuko knew what he was talking about though and her face mirrored his when he first realized that his son killed. "Oh, my baby!" She cried, throwing her arms around Yoshi but he made no move to hug her back. She guided him away from Yuuta and helped him go up the stairs.

Yuuta watched them go, wanting to do something but he did not know what to do. He tried to think of what he did when he first took a life but all he could remember was killing a man, several men during the war and returning home, not saying a word to his family. He isolated himself in his room for weeks until he found the strength to accept what he did but Yoshi...he knew that would not work for him. Yoshi was his most emotional child. He wore his heart on his sleeve. He could not just accept this, and Yuuta did not know how to help him. Perhaps Atusko would. After all, she has always been able to soothe and comfort Yoshi best. She was the only one who could get through to him.

Suddenly, Saki came in and Yuuta looked at him. "How are you, my son?" Saki shrugged. "Fine." Yuuta frowned at his son's blunt and emotionless reply. He cleared his throat. "How is Shen?"

"Shaken but she is safe at her grandparents'." Yuuta nodded and looked back up the stairs. Saki raised a brow, confused. "Why are you and Yoshi upset?" Yuuta looked at his son as if he did not understand the question. "I do not know what you mean?"

"When he killed that man. Why are you two upset?" Yuuta scowled. "Saki, Yoshi just killed a man. This is very serious."

"But if he had not killed him then you would have been dead. That man deserved it." Yuuta could not believe what was coming out of his son's mouth. "He was still a human being, Saki. Yes, he deserved punishment but taking someone's life, even if they do something wrong, should never be the first choice. Yoshi did it because he was desperate, because he was trying to save..." Yuuta trailed off, as guilt crawled on his back. Saki scowled. "If they try to kill a member of our clan and dishonor us then they should be killed without any hesitation."

Yuuta stomped his staff on the floor, making Saki flitch. "Enough! I will not hear such things in this house, do you understand me?!" Saki bowed his head in submission. "Yes, Father." Yuuta turned to leave and like he did back then, he isolated himself in his bedroom for the rest of the night.

...

For the past few weeks, Yoshi has not come out of his room, and he would not let anyone in but Atsuko. Saki was surprised that Yuuta did not force him out or get him to attend his lessons. Yuuta will have to catch Yoshi up on his training but for now, he let his son be.

Yes, Yuuta has always taught his sons to push through pain, to march forward and move on. To not let yesterday be today or tomorrow but this was different. This was a scar, a deep, deep scar that will stay with Yoshi the rest of his life.

When his friends came over, Yuuta had sat them down and allowed them to ask any questions they may have. After a few minutes of questions about Yoshi's wellbeing, Usagi finally asked, "Who is going to lead us while Yoshi is...recovering?"

Yuuta sighed. "Well normally, since Saki is second in command, that will be him but right now...Atsuko and I agreed to not let any of you go on missions until Yoshi is better."

"What?" Saki snapped. "Why can I not lead them? Why do we have to wait for Yoshi?" Yuuta looked at his second son. "Your mother feels that Yoshi is not the only one who needs recovering. You have all witnessed something...truly awful and we both agree to give all of you time to process it."

The others nodded in understanding while Saki just growled. "This is nonsense! One man died, so what?! He dishonored you and the clan; he did not deserve any mercy!" Before Yuuta could scold his son-

"Hamato Saki!!!" Atsuko's voice yelled and she immediately walked over to him, pulling him on his feet by his ear. "Your father and I did not raise you to be this way!" Saki pulled away from her and rubbed his sore ear. "I do not understand, why you and father are acting this way. That man almost killed your husband, aren't you mad?"

"Of course, I am." Atsuko said. "But you need to understand that though Yoshi's actions were justified, it still comes with a heavy price. No one can truly know if a person deserves death. For that is not our choice to make. We have no right saying who lives and who dies. You do not know that man, maybe he was desperate, maybe not. We kill if we really must Saki, not for punishment but for self-defense. To protect yourself and others. If there is a choice to not kill, then we should always choose that. Yoshi did not have a choice; it was either that man's life or your father's."

"That to me, sounds like weakness." Saki said darkly and Atsuko, rewarded him by smacking him hard upside the head. "It is not weakness! It is true strength and you, clearly still do not understand! Now, go to your room!"

"I did nothing wrong!" Saki defended. Atsuko narrowed her eyes. "You lacked compassion when you should have it most! Now, go!"

"Mother, that is not fair-"

"Listen to your mother!" Yuuta ordered and Saki looked at him taken aback as well as Atsuko until Saki quietly went to do as he was told. After a moment of heavy silence, "C-Can we see Yoshi?" Akemi asked.

"No. Atsuko made it perfectly clear; she wishes for Yoshi to have his time and rest. It has to be him who chooses to come out." Yuuta answered. "He is also afraid to face all of you after what happened." Atsuko added.

"Why? He didn't do anything wrong?!" Usagi exclaimed. "He just...did what he had to." Atsuko nodded. "Yes, but right now, Yoshi is having a hard time seeing it that way. He just needs time right now; he will come back eventually."

Everyone frowned sadly at that. "You four should worry about your own recovery right now. Let us worry about Yoshi." Yuuta said. Atsuko nodded at her husband then looked at the teens. "You all should go now." The others nodded and got up to leave. "Chung I." She called before he could walk out the door. "Where is Tang Shen?"

"She is taking some time, recovering from what she witnessed." He answered simply and Atusko nodded then watched as he left. Tetsumi then came down the stairs, frowning. "What is wrong akachan?" He pouted at her. "Yoshi still won't come out."

Atsuko sighed. "He will eventually, my son. Just give him time." Tetsumi walked away and Atsuko looked over at Yuuta. "How is he?" He asked.

"He looks as though he has not been sleeping. He will not eat anything I bring for him either. I do not want to force him but...he can not go on like this." Yuuta message his temples and stood up. "I will go meditate, let me know if anything changes."

Atsuko frowned her husband's way then sat down on the couch, praying that her son will heal from this soon and that what happened will not destroy him.

...

With Saki,

Saki has snuck out of his room and went into the woods. Saki was furious, no more than that, he felt a strong power violent rage coursing through his bones. He did not understand why his mother and father were angry at him! They should be angry at the man who tried to kill his father! Instead, they are worrying over Yoshi! When Yoshi did not come out of his room, Saki finally thought that would be his chance to prove himself but of course, as it turns out, his father wanted to wait until Yoshi was better before they went on missions.

He could have let Saki lead. That was his job as second in command. When the leader is down, the second in command takes over but not this time. Yoshi is the only one worthy enough to actually lead in his parents' eyes.

Saki felt veins burning, his breathing becoming heavier. This is why Saki comes to the woods. Saki is able to control his temper more than Yoshi but sometimes...he needs a release. He spotted a deer, eating the grass and Saki lowered his body down on the ground, getting his bow ready.

The deer's ears twitched, and it lifted its head, catching the eyes of Saki. Saki glared at it but just when he was about to let go of his arrow- "Saki, no!" A voice shouted and pushed his arm, making the arrow fly up into the sky. The deer took the chance and ran. Saki looked to see it was Tang Shen and he angrily pushed her off of him. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!!!" He shouted.

Shen looked surprised by his outburst but then scowled. "How could you hurt an innocent creature?!"

"It is an animal, Shen!" Saki yelled. "It's life is worthless!"

"Worthless?!" Shen yelled back. "No life is worthless, Saki! I can not believe you are saying such things!"

"My father took Yoshi and I haunting all the time."

"For fish! For food! Not for sport!" Shen depended. "What are you even doing here? I thought you were staying home after what happened?" Shen's face softens and she looked down. "I was...worried about Yoshi. I came to check on him."

Saki felt even more angry about that. "He does not want to see you or anyone else right now Shen."

"I know, I figured he would not, but I must see him. Maybe I could-"

"You just scolded me for trying to kill a deer, but you are going to comfort Yoshi after he killed a man?!" Saki shouted and Shen flinched, Saki immediately regret his outburst. "Listen to me, Yoshi will not want to see you. You will only hurt him more. Mother said he needs time to himself and rest."

Shen looked to be debating, she really wanted to see Yoshi but if she did not want to be any trouble to him in doing so. She sighed. "Are you sure he does not want to see me?"

"He told me so himself." Saki lied and Shen frowned. "Well...you will let me know how he is doing, won't you?" She asked and Saki nodded. Shen turned to leave but then stopped. "Saki, do not try to hurt anymore animals while I am gone. You may not see their worth, but I do."

Saki gave Shen a promise nod and watched as she left. When she was out of sight, Saki growled and walked off to find the deer. It did not take long, turns out the deer did not go that far. Dumb animal. Saki raised his bow again and fired the arrow, right into the animal's heart.

...

That night,

Yuuta awoke from his slumber. He did not know what woke him but whatever it was, it made him worry. He glanced at his wife who was sleeping peacefully then decided to take a look around, just to make sure everything was fine. He went downstairs and looked in the kitchen. It was empty but Yuuta saw a cabinet was slightly open.

He frowned and continued to look around. Living room: Clear. Guests' rooms: Clear. Bathroom: Clear. Dojo...a light shined through under the door. Yuuta frowned deeper and slowly, very slowly, he slid open the door. He blinked in surprised when he saw Yoshi sitting in the dojo, staring outside with a lit candle sitting beside him and...a bottle of sake.

Usually, Yuuta would be storming in, scolding and reprimanding his son for even tempting to open a bottle of sake but...for the life of him, Yuuta could not when he looked at the state of his son. Yoshi's face was wet with sweat, he was still trembling, heavy bags weighted his eyes, and he smelled like he has not bathed in a while. Yuuta looked around the dojo, to see a broken wooden sword. No doubt his son came down here to let out some kind of frustration. Yuuta thought about getting Atsuko but did not want to disturb her rest but he knew he could not leave Yoshi like this.

Yuuta sighed, knowing he was alone and needed to do this himself. He came in, being careful to not make his presents known to his son yet. Once he came by Yoshi's side, he called to him. "Yoshi." Yoshi nearly choked on the bottle he was drinking before he looked at his father with wide eyes. "F-Father..." Yoshi stuttered slightly.

Father. Yoshi has been calling him that ever since the incident. No more Pop or dad. Yuuta did not know why, for he has always tried to teach his son formality the same way his father teached him but now that he was speaking so formal to him...he found he did not like it. Yoshi was the only one who was never formal with him, besides Atsuko. His other sons call him Father, just like he taught them to but for some reason when Yoshi does it, he hated it. Whenever Yoshi called him "Father", it usually meant that he was mad at him, or he was upset about a disagreement they had. Now...Yuuta does not know why Yoshi is calling him Father. Maybe he blamed him for what happened. Maybe he was angry at him for not being atone to his ninja instincts and protecting himself, for putting his own son in that situation.

Yuuta shook that away, however, knowing that now was not time for him to be trapped in his mind again and looked at his son. He looked at the bottle and Yoshi followed his gaze, eyes snapping back at him nervously as he tried to hide the bottle behind his back. Yuuta looked at his gaze, his face hard for Yoshi to read. "What are you doing Yoshi?" He asked, schooling his tone to not sound scolding.

"I-I..I...um..." Yoshi struggled to speak, his eyes looking anywhere but Yuuta. "I am not angry Yoshi; I just wish to know what you are doing." He tried to calm him, but Yoshi flinched at his tone and Yuuta scolded himself. He took a breath. "Yoshi...please, just tell me. I will not punish you, I promise."

Yoshi studied his face, almost like he did not trust it was his father standing next to him. Yuuta decided that maybe words were not enough and sat down next to Yoshi, looking at him, trying to show him he was listening. Yoshi however, still looked away from him ashamed. Yuuta sighed and took the bottle of sake, showing it to Yoshi. Yoshi looked at it then finally met his father's eyes. "Why were you drinking this?" Yuuta asked.

Yoshi's eyes became misty, and he quickly looked down, his shoulders beginning to tremble. "I just...wanted it to go away." Yoshi's voice when he spoke sounded so broken and it made Yuuta regret asking him. Still he urged Yoshi, "Make what go away?"

Yoshi bit his lower lip and shook his head. He then sniffed. "I-I keep seeing...his face...I keep seeing him falling on the ground and I-I can still smell his blood on my hands!" Yuuta allowed himself to frown. "Is that why you have not been sleeping?"

Yoshi nodded. "Yeah. I-I just can't take it anymore, so I thought-"

"That this will help you forget?" Yuuta finished, holding up the bottle and again Yoshi nodded. Yuuat set the bottle down and sighed. "You know it will not. This is not a permanent fix Yoshi. It may help you forget for a little while, but you will never truly forget. What you did...is not something that you will ever be able to forget. It is like an invisible scar; it will heal in time, but it will never go away."

Yoshi was quiet for a while then he took a inhaled. "Why did you not lock me up?" Yuuta looked at his son, like he did not understand. "What?"

"I-I killed a man b-but you didn't punish me or anything." Yoshi said shakily. "Usually when I-I do something impulsive and do-do something without thinking, you get mad bu-but you didn't do nothing. You didn't hit me or lock me up or exile me, you just..." Yoshi's voice faded as Yuuta felt his stomach turn. Yoshi then continued. "Yo-You're right about me! All I do is lose my temper and do things without thinking! I do not deserve to lead! I'm sorry, I know you trusted me to-I-! I'm sorry!"

Now Yuuta understood, Yoshi thought that he was mad at him for what he did, and he was punishing himself. Yuuta looked back at his broken-down son and put a hand on his shoulder. "Yoshi, you did not do anything wrong, and I am not mad at you for what you did." He said firmly and Yoshi looked at him in disbelief. "B-But I-"

"You saved my life." Yuuta cut off. "That man would have killed me, if you did not step in when you did. I owe you a great debt, my son." Yoshi shook his head. "No-No! You don't owe me anything! I did it without thinking, I just grabbed my weapon and-"

"I know I always tell you to think before you act, and you should." Yuuta interrupted then sighed. "But sometimes, thinking is not always the wisest thing to do during battle. It is because of my thoughts, that I did not sense I was in danger and why I did not act when he attacked. If you think too much, you get distracted by the fight in front of you and the fights that might come."

"Y-You're really not mad?" Yoshi asked after a moment of hesitation and Yuuta shook his head. "No. I am not." Yoshi still looked like he could not understand. "B-But if I did nothing wrong, then I do I feel so guilty? Why do I keep seeing him when I close my eyes?"

"That is a good thing, my son." Yuuta said, taken him off guard. "How is that a good thing?!" Yoshi asked. "Because it means that you did not enjoy what you did. That you will never be looking to do it again and that you have a compassionate heart. Killing your enemy, is not something that should ever be taken lightly, Yoshi. Only when you have no choice and, in that situation, you were not given much choice."

"So...I'm going to be stuck like this forever?" Yoshi asked. "No, the nightmares and guilt will go away in time." Yuuta assured. "But the scar of the memory will not and...I hate to say it but at least now, when you do not have a choice again, you will not hesitate to do what you have to."

Yoshi froze and looked at his father with horror fill eyes. "Y-You mean...this will happen again?"

"It might with the life that we live." Yuuta said honestly and Yoshi tensed, his gaze falling. Yuuta noticed and sighed while looking outside. "Yoshi, if you never want to be put in such a situation again, then tell me now. I rather you stop being a ninja, then putting you and your team in danger."

Yoshi snapped his head up. "Stop being- No! I want to be a ninja! I-I just...hate feeling like this." Yuuta looked back at him. "It will get easier." He promised then turned stern face. "But do you think you can handle doing it again, if you must?"

Yoshi hesitated to answer. "I...I think so."

"I do not want you to think, I want you to know." Yuuta said strictly. Yoshi looked at him then looked down and took a deep breath. After another moment, he sat straight and met his father's eyes. "I know."

Yuuta gave a firm nod and stood up, putting a firm hand on his son's shoulder, telling him to stay there. Though confused, Yoshi obeyed and waited until Yuuta came back with two mats. "I know you hate mediation, but it might help you sleep." Yuuta motioned for Yoshi to sit on the second mat, and he complied, willing to try anything at this point. "Close your eyes and take deep breaths. Any thoughts that disturb you, just exhale them out."

Yoshi nodded and closed his eyes, following his father's lead as they calmly kept breathing in and out. After an hour, Yoshi's body began to relax and before long, he passed out asleep. Yuuta opened his eyes when he heard his son start snoring. He looked at him, noticing he seemed to be at peace before rolling up his own mat and putting it away. He then came back with a blanket and dropped it over Yoshi. He sighed. "Goodnight, my son."

Yuuta turned to leave but before he could close the door, he heard a faint, "Night...Pop..." Yuuta glanced at his son to see that he was still sleeping and if a soft small smile cross Yuuta's face, he never said anything.

...

The next day,

Yoshi came back to the dojo but none of his friends said anything during class, they waited until class was over to approach Yoshi. Yoshi was still a little nervous about facing his friends but knew it was unavoidable now. When he turned to face them, Usagi hugged him, taking him off guard. "I never thought I see you come to the dojo again!" He said happily relieved.

"I am glad to see you again, my friend." Chung I said. "So am I." Akemi soon after. Saki just stood there silently. Yoshi smiled. "It's good to see you guys too." It then fadded however, when Usagi pulled away. "I..uh...I'm sorry about what you guys saw, I know, it was probably hard and...I...hope we can still be friends?" Yoshi said awkwardly and uncomfortably.

The three looked at him confused. "Why would we not still be friends?" Chung I asked and Yoshi tensed. "B-Because I- of what I did..."

"Yo, we never thought you did anything wrong. You were just saving your dad. Yeah, it...was hard to watch and I can't imagine what it was like for you, but it is not like you just randomly killed someone." Usagi said with a small smile.

"Really? You guys aren't afraid of me of anything?" Yoshi asked. "No, we are not. We trust you." Akemi assured and Yoshi smiled in relief but again frowned. "Where is Shen?"

"She is at home." Chung I answered. "What about Kitsune?"

"Grounded for drinking. You should go see Shen; she has been really worried about you."

"She has?" Yoshi asked and Chung I nodded. "Ok, I'll go now." Yoshi ran off, his friends watching him go with a smile, all except Saki.

...

"Shen!" Amaya called before opening Shen's bedroom door and Shen looked away from the book she was reading to look at her. "Yoshi is outside." Shen immediately jumped out of bed and ran out the door, to see Yoshi waiting at her porch. The two were silent for a while. "Um, hi." Yoshi said awkwardly and Shen smiled. "Hi."

Yoshi scratched the back of his neck nervously. "Look, I...I don't know what you think of me now, after what you saw but I want you to know...it was not something I enjoyed. I'm still sick just thinking about it! I know I killed him, but I did it to-"

"Protect your father." Shen said softly and Yoshi looked aback but nodded. Shen then moved closer to him and cupped his face, looking him in his tired eyes. "Do you know what I thought when I saw what you did?"

Yoshi shook his head. "I thought you were a hero, Yoshi." Yoshi looked at her shocked and Shen smiled. "Most would have been too afraid to do anything. They would have just watched and let Yuuta die. You did not. You have no idea, how many times I have wished that I could do the same for my parents."

"But you were crying." Yoshi pointed out. Yoshi did not remember many details from that night, just that he killed a man and...Shen crying. "I was crying for you." Shen replied. "For me?" Yoshi questioned.

"I was scared, what happened might destroy you." Shen clarified then smiled more. "But it clearly did not." Yoshi grinned. "Well, you know me, I never give up easily." He joked and Shen responded by giving him a hug, surprising him but he slowly hugged her back. "I am happy you are ok, Yoshi." She muttered in his ear, and it was then and there that Yoshi finally accepted that he did what he had to do, that he was not a monster and that if he did need to protect someone like that again, he will be able to do it in a heartbeat. He would take a life in exchange for the people he cares about lives any day. No matter how many scars he gets in the process.

(I am changing the some of the characters names. Masato, Yoshi's littlest brother name is now Tetsumi. Masato will be the Hamato Clan's founder. And Tadashi, Yuuta's brother name will be Yukio. Thank u for the comments and support. I know this chapter is heavy but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.)
