A/N: So, I tried (tried is the operative word here) to write smut. But ya know, I haven't really done that before so, practice makes perfect?

They left the party after saying goodbye to the Admiral, and Harm's squadron commander with the excuse that Harm had to be on his way early the next morning. An excuse that they hoped was at least partially believable considering Harm's hand and arm made as much contact with her body as possible.
"You think we were that obvious?" Mac asked as Harm helped her in the driver seat of her corvette.
Harm leaned down and have her a kiss. Capturing her lips in what was to be a chaste kiss, but she ran her hand up his chest and grabbed his lapels to keep him close.
She filled pulled away to take a breath, her head resting on his as he nuzzled their noses together.
"We won't make it to your apartment if you keep doing that," he said, a quick peck then running to the other side of the corvette before she could deepen the kiss again.
He slipped in the passenger side and buckled in, watching as she maneuvered the stick shift out of the parking lot.
Once they got onto the freeway, he felt it was safe enough to rest his hand over her thigh. His thumb making stroking motions.
She sighed and grabbed his hand.
"You have to stop doing that."
He gave her his most innocent expression. "Me? What was I doing?"
"You know what."
"Do I?"
"You do," she said. "And we need to make it back to the apartment…"
"Why Mackenzie, are you saying you can't control yourself around me? A lowly Naval Aviator?"
She rolled her eyes. "I don't know if you thought that was a turn on, Pappy."
There was a grin on her face, showing that she was enjoying the banter. That the passionate kisses they've shared (and there's been a lot) has not taken away their banter that she loved and missed so much since he left.
He turned his full attention to her, hoping to regain some of the passion.
He ran his hand up her exposed neck slowly. Feeling the contrast with his calloused fingers and the softness of her neck.
"That tickles," she breathed out.
"Sorry," he whispered as his fingertips continuing to traces over her smooth skin, then her ear. Remember how he tugged on her ear with his teeth, and the moan that it produced in the garden of the hotel.
The hitch in her breath made him realize that she was thinking the same.
She once again grabbed his hand, then placed them on his lap. "Ok, sailor. Hands, and all other extremities on your side of the vehicle."
He raised an eyebrow.
"Lips included."
He grinned. "Damn it, who made you a lawyer."
"The state of North Carolina," she responded.
"So this extremities rule… what are the exact terms?"
"Terms?"
"Say, there's a red light. Does this rule still apply?"
"Yes."
"And if we're in traffic?"
"At 2148?"
He shrugged. "Stranger things have happened. I'm just trying to follow your decree."
"My decree?"
"I'm running out of words here, Mac."
She smirked, as she watched him from the corner of her eye. He was making it difficult to pay attention to the road.
"And pray tell, what could be distracting to enough to render the famous Harmon Rabb, lawyer extraordinaire, second best lawyer at JAG, to run out of words."
"Second best?!"
She moved to change gears and she felt his eyes zero in. Ah. The long slit on her dress and the exposed most of her left leg, especially as she shifted.
"You, Sarah," he said, refocusing on her face. The features he's known for four years, and memorized in many late nights and early mornings as they prepared for trials — whether they were partnered together or just as a helping hand.
They sat there in silence, Mac driving, and Harm watching her and taking her in, planning how he would kiss her, the places he would place his hands, until she parked the car.
"Can I kiss you now?" He asked, his breathing heavy. He managed to work himself up with just his imagination, and the center of his fantasies in front of him.
She looked over at him, the only light in the car from a street light. She shook her head.
"No," she whispered.
He backed up from leaning towards her, as if burned.
She grabbed his hand, and squeezed. "I'd like to make it into the apartment. And I don't think we'll be able to if you do."
He grinned, quickly clicked his seatbelt free and jumped out of the car. He closed the door and ran to the other side where she waited patiently. Although she could have just opened her own door and left her own car, she knew that it meant something to Harm to be able to do that for her.
He opened the door with a smile, his hand out to help her stand from the low Corvette seat.
She took his hand, and use it a bit more for him to balance her weight. Whatever it was worked, because he put his arms around her waist to catch her. A mistake on her part, because with their bodies this close, she could feel the heat and his arousal.
"We need to get to your apartment," he breathed against her hair.
She could feel the strong thumping of his heart, and it matched hers. She had no words, but just nodded, straightening up and trying to move out of his embrace while she had the decency to. She took his hand as he slammed the driver door shut, and she pressed the lock while they walked briskly to the apartment's front door.
The only contact their bodies had were their hands until he shut the door to her apartment behind him. Grabbing her and turning simultaneously to pin her against the door.
His body. Her body.
His lips. Her lips.
Hands were frantically pushing and pulling on garments.
"Bed?" Harm muttered, then bit into the skin of where her neck and shoulders met.
She shook her head.
"Here."
"Here?"
Her response to affirmative was to hitch her leg up, heel pressing on his ass, thrusting her hips up.
And whatever other thoughts were in Harm's mind left.
The two eventually made it to the couch. To the bed. To the shower. And in the morning, Harm woke up to one blissfully asleep and naked Sarah Mackenzie.
He ran his fingertips over her smooth skin, loving the way that she felt as he traced the curves he was lucky enough to start mapping out the night before. She stirred a bit, snuggling closer to him. Reminding him of a time in the forest when he was reluctant to leave his beloved plane in favor of protecting his ever so stubborn partner. His fingers traced her breast, watching as her nipples pricked, thinking about her bravery. Her resilience.
"You tired me out," she mumbled.
"So the thing about Energizer Bunnies..."
She her eyes flew open to a glare.
He chuckled, then cupped her jaw. "Good morning."
He leaned over and kissed her. She deepened the kiss by rolling them over, with her on top. The sheets that were once covering them during the night falling down her back.
"Good morning," she breathed against his lips, her hips starting to move suggestively on top of him.
He gripped her hips while smiling against her.
"You want breakfast first? Keep your energy up?"
She shook her head. "Breakfast means getting up, and you have to leave soon."
"Not too soon," he said positioning himself at her entrance.
She sank down on top of him. "Not too soon."
Hope ya'll enjoyed!
