*Bakugou/Flashpaw's POV*
We just came to a wooden fence after half an hour of walking. "Alright you five, we want you to give the fence a good sniff and tell us what you smell." Ghostbloom said as we stopped in front of the fence. We did as we were told and smelled the fence. I instantly smelled the sweet flowery scent of FlowerClan and pine. As well as a few other scents.
"I smell flowers, pine, and a few other scents I can't name." Deku said(yes, Bakugou and Deku still call each other by their nicknames). "Very good Bravepaw." Dapplestar said, causing Deku to blush under his fur at the praise he got from his mentor. "The flowery scent is the scent all FlowerClan cats have. You, Flashpaw, and those three kits will have it in a few more days or so. The pine scent is the scent of DuskClan cats, the Clan that makes their home on a farm and part of the pine forest." She explained to us.
I looked towards the fence. 'I wonder which of those extras are in DuskClan.' I thought. "So do the other scents belong to farm animals?" Foxpaw said, looking beyond the fence. Hoping to see any farm animals. "Correct Foxpaw! In fact, on the farm is a dog who can understand us and helps keep DuskClan a secret from her twolegs." Billy said.
We then caught the sight of six cats coming towards us.
The oldest of the group was a rust-colored red she-cat. The second was a small tortoiseshell she-cat. The third was a snow white she-cat with black accents who looked to be the same age as Billy.
There were also three apprentices that were the same age as me and Deku. The first was a yellow tom with golden accents and a black lightning bolt-shaped streak over his left eye. The second was a black tom with front knees shaped like tape-dispensers. The last one was a indigo tabby she-cat.
One look at them and it was easy to tell who the apprentices are. "Kaminari! Sero! Shinsou!" Deku called them and our three classmates started running towards us. 'So Dunce face, Soy sauce, and Eyebags are in DuskClan. I wonder where the other extras are.' I thought.
"Midoriya! Bakugou! Oh, thank God you're both alright!" Dunce face said as he, Soy sauce, and Eyebags stopped at the fence, their mentors right behind them. "Bravepaw, do you and Flashpaw know these DuskClan apprentices?" Dapplestar asked Deku. "Yes, we do. We actually lived close together." He explained to her.
"Both of you are in FlowerClan? No surprise with Midoriya. But I would never have thought that you would join FlowerClan Bakugou." The now indigo tabby she-cat said. "What was that Eyebags?!" I yowled at her while glaring, my fur standing on end and my tail flicked in anger. Before I could say more Deku spoke up. "What are your new names? As you already know mine's Bravepaw and Kacchan's is Flashpaw." He told them.
"Your new name suits you Midori-I mean Bravepaw! Flashpaw's too. My new name is Lightningpaw! It fits my Quirk." Dunce face said. I rolled my eyes at him. 'But he does have a point about mine and Deku's new names.' I thought as my fur lay flat again. "Mine's Spiderpaw, which fits how I tend to use my Quirk. And Shinsou's is Lavenderpaw, which fits her fur color." Soy sauce explained to us. I rolled my eyes again as the red she-cat spotted Dapplestar. "Dapplestar, are you training one of these apprentices?!" She said in surprised.
"Yes, I'm training Bravepaw. I wanted to train at least one more apprentice before joining StarClan. You'll understand one day Kestrelstar." Dapplestar replied. Dunce face looked at Deku in amazement. "You're being trained by your Clan leader Bravepaw!?" He asked. Deku just nod his head before the now yellow tom continued. "Me too! That's so cool how we're both being trained by Clan leaders!" He said. I then noticed that Billy, Lionsight, and Sakurapetal were talking to the other two DuskClan she-cats. Ghostbloom, Foxpaw, Treepaw, and Lakepaw joined us. 'That's just great.'
The three littermates looked at Dunce face, Soy sauce, and Eyebags with curious eyes. "You have funny looking front knees." Foxpaw said to Soy sauce. "Foxpaw!" Ghostbloom said to the red furred apprentice. "It's alright. I get that a lot when someone meets me for the first time." He explained to them. "Why do your front knees look like that?" Lakepaw asked him.
"Well, it's because of my Quirk. I can shoot a sticky sheet, which I call tape, from my front knees whenever I want." He explained to them. The three littermates looked at him with wide eyes. "What are your Quirks?" Ghostbloom asked Dunce face and Eyebags. "I can create lightning from my body and I use my claws to control where it goes. I can also control how strong the lightning is." He explained as he raised his paw, which sparks of electricity danced off. "I don't feel like explaining my Quirk." Eyebags said.
After a few minutes it was time to go. " You can see them again at the next gathering. But for now we need to continue the tour of our territory." Dapplestar said to us. "The same goes for us." Kestrelstar said to Dunce face, Soy sauce, and Eyebags. We then separated. "Dapplestar, how tough of a mentor is Kestrelstar?" Deku asked her as we got back in the shade of the flowered trees. "She's the toughest leader of all five Clans. She actually trained her deputy, Swiftbrook, back when she was still deputy." Dapplestar explained to us.
"Then Dunce face is in trouble because of how lazy he is." I said with a flick of my tail. The three littermates started asking me and Deku about what it was like sleeping in the Apprentices' den last night. I didn't answer, but Deku did. He told them that the other apprentices were nice, but he mainly talked about Dustpaw. 'Wht does talk about Dustpaw like that? He hardly even knows her!' I thought, feeling the strange feeling I had last night when I saw Deku and Dustpaw sleeping so close together.
"Flashpaw, are you alright?" I heard Ghostbloom ask me. I then noticed that I fell behind the group a bit. "I'm fine! I just don't understand this strange feeling I had when Deku was talking about Dustpaw." I said to her. I noticed that she now had a strange gleam in her eyes. "Sounds like you're jealous of Dustpaw getting close to Brvepaw." She explained to me. "Why would I be jealous of Dustpaw getting close to Deku?" I asked her. Before she could answer we heard something.
"What was that?" Lionsight asked. Dapplestar didn't say anything, instead she signaled for us to head towards the sound. We then ran towards the sound. When we got there we saw four cats, two of which were arguing. "Why can't we join FlowerClan?! They can protect us!" Yelled a stripped gray tabby she-cat. "Oh, can they?! Last I checked "flower" doesn't mean strong! We'll be much safer in VallyClan, now that's a name that means strong!" A golden tabby tom yelled back at the she-cat, his green eyes glaring at her. The white tom then got between the two. "Snaptooth, Flywhisker, are you two already forgetting what Dawnpelt and Beenose told us already?! The Kin is still out there, and they joined forces with whats left of BloodClan and Sol's group! And only cats like us and Bluebell can make sure what happened to SkyClan, ShadowClan, and RiverClan doesn't happen to another group of cats." He said to them, looking a bit sad at the mention of Beenose.
Flywhisker and Snaptooth looked at each other before Flywhisker started to comfort the white tom. 'This "Beenose" must be someone the white tom was close to. I wonder what happened to them?' I thought before Ghostbloom spoke up. "Did he say SkyClan, ShadowClan, and RiverClan? And so the two cats that were arguing have Clan names?" She said in shock. "I have heard that there were other Clans like ours somewhere in the World. But I have a bad felling of the other three groups they are talking about." Dapplestar said, looking at the four cats as the last one spoke up.
"Then this is where we go our separate ways. Me and Snaptooth will go to ValleyClan while you two will find FlowerClan." The blue-gray she-cat with white cloud-shaped markings on her pelt said. "It will help us warn them." Flywhisker said. "Well, I guess this is good bye. May StarClan light your path Flywhisker and Rippletail." Snaptooth said before he and the blue-gray she-cat left. "May StarClan light your path Snaptooth and Bluebell." Flywhisker and Rippletail said back.
Dapplestar looked in the direction Snaptooth and Bluebell went before speaking. "Billy, I want you, Sakurapetal, and your apprentices to follow Snaptooth and Bluebell to make sure they get to ValleyClan's territory safely while the rest of us greet Flywhisker and Rippletail." The four cats Dapplestar picked to follow the two cats on their way to ValleyClan's territory nodded their heads yes before doing as they were told, trusting their leader. "Shouldn't we chase them away from the Clan territories Dapplestar?" Treepaw asked as his littlemates and their mentors went after the two cats that left. "I know what I'm doing Threepaw. Don't worry." Dapplestar said as she got up and went to greet the two cats that are still in the clearing.
Flywhisker and Rippletail turned around, getting ready to attack, before Dapplestar spoke. "Greetings. I an Dapplestar, leader of FlowerClan. This is Ghostbloom and Lionsight. And our apprentices Bravepaw, Flashpaw, and Treepaw." Dapplestar said. Flywhisker and Rippletail were no longer in an attack position. 'Too bad.' I thought. 'I was hoping for a fight.' "I'm guessing you heard all that, didn't you." Flywhisker said, clearly embarressed.
"Yes, we did." Dapplestar replied. "The whole forest heard you." I said, rolling my eyes. Deku then gave me a look that said 'be nice'. "We also heard you said something about three other groups. Can you tell us about who they are when we're back at Camp?" Dapplestar said, causing me, Deku, and Threepaw to look at her in surprise. "We'll need to regain our strength first. We've had a long journey to find you so we can warn you." Rippletail said.
"Lionsight. You and Treepaw go and take Flywhisker and Rippletail back to Camp while me, Ghostbloom, and our apprentices continue the tour." The two cats nodded their heads at their Clan leader before showing the two cats the way to camp. The four of us then continued the tour of the territory. 'I hope we do some fight training once the tour is over.' I thought with a devilish grin.
