Chapter 2

The next morning, Inuyasha's phone goes off to wake him up. He turns to the side to see it's 5:45 am. Not really the time for him to get up at this hour. Not once. But he knows that he has to do his duty that his brother generously allow him to do for once. He goes into his kitchen to find Rin his sister in law relaxing on one of the kitchen stools with a coffee mug in her one hand and something else

"Morning, Rin." Inuyasha greets her as he gets to his coffee maker and get it ready. "Morning. Hope you don't mind me barging in this early in the morning." She smiles to him. Inuyasha reaches into his one cabinet to get his own red mug out. "Oh not at all. I was able to smell your scent the moment I woke up." He assures her as he waits for the brew to be finished.

Rin nods back. "Anyway, I brought these for you." She pushes the objects to him when he sat down on an empty stool across from her. Inuyasha fills his mug up with the freshly made brew along with the creamer that Rin brought out of his fridge. "What did you bring me?" Inuyasha asks before taking a sip.

Rin shows a neck tie. "This tie has a built in camera for you wardrobe. That way, Sesshomaru and I will see where you. And this here…" She pulls out the messenger bag from her lap. "Have your information about each induvial of the school itself. And here's your little airpod set." She giggles in the end.

Inuyasha looks to see it's a black pair of the airbuds. "Right, and how am I supposed to blend in with the crowd?" He asks as he observes her more carefully this time. "Yes, I know about that. Here." She gives him a smartwatch. "Try it on." She begs him eagerly.

Inuyasha slips the device on his left wrist and waits til it turns on it own. A few seconds later, his long silver hair is turned jet black, golden eyes into deep brown, regular fingernails, and no fangs in his mouth. His akita ears vanished from the top of his head and replaced with regular human ears.

"There you're ready to go." Rin smiles big with a triumph look. "Rest assured your senses are still there." She adds in. "What about the mic? How am I supposed to tell you what's going on?" Inuyasha asks her as he puts in the airbuds into his human ears. "The tie has it inside of the cloth so no one will notice it. Now put that thing on and let's make sure I can hear you through this." Rin instructs him as she pulls out a headset.

Inuyasha already had a pair of black slacks, and a white button down shirt under it. He takes the tie and puts it on easily until he sees the little dot is out in the open. "How about this?" Inuyasha asks her to see Rin with her laptop open and see the footage aiming at her. "Looking good so far. Make sure Kagome have these on her." Rin hands over a box. "What's in here?" Inuyasha is about to open until Rin slaps his hand. "Uh uh. Kagome's personal camera for this mission." She kindly scolds him. He sighs and gathers his stuff. "Anyway, I'll head off to Kagome to make sure she has her supplies ready." He said before leaving the door with his belongings.

Kagome comes out of the shower after waking up. "Of all of the things Sesshomaru wants me to do is to put me in a school. I never thought that I'd have to go back." She complains as she goes get her outfit of a grey dress pants and a nice red floral top with sleeves to her elbows. She begins to blow-dry her hair unaware that her door opened and closed. After freshen up and putting on a pinch of lip balm and eye liner, Kagome goes into her bedroom to see Inuyasha sitting on her bed.

"Honestly, Inuyasha. Ever heard of knocking?" Kagome comments for his rudeness she assumed. Inuyasha nods. "I do. And I did. But you didn't answer so I simply came in. You didn't hear me?" He answers as he follows her to her own kitchen. "I was in the middle of blow-drying my hair. You know how loud it is when it's on." Kagome reminds him, unaware that she accidentally forgotten about its purpose. "Exactly. Which is why it was foolish enough for someone to sneak in and attack you." Inuyasha snickers at that. You let your guard down. That's agent rule number one. Always be vigilant."

That made Kagome pout in embarrassment. "So why are you here anyway?" she asks as she gets her coffee mug out. "I have the supplies that Rin left for me to bring to you." Inuyasha explains as he puts out the box that he wasn't allowed to open before leaving his place. Kagome looks at him confused. "Rin? Why can't she just come to my house instead of yours?" She asks him.

"You know Rin. She doesn't want to jeopardize your location if she was on a mission, which I highly doubt. Besides she loves her brother-in-law." Inuyasha said to her. Kagome opens this box and see it's a pair of golden earring balls with a note inside of the box.

Kagome, these earrings have cameras and there's a mic in the messenger bag that's a bracelet.

Rin

Kagome puts on the earrings into the pierced spots on her ears. "Check." She said simply. She has to make sure that her hair is out of the view for the camera. Inuyasha opens up his phone to make sure it's working. "So far so good." He agrees. Kagome opens the messenger bag to find the little mic inside of a plexiglass case. "Hmm. That's the bracelet." Kagome asks as she pulls out the piece of jewelry out. Inuyasha is just confused as she is. "Need me to put it on you?" He asks politely. Kagome nods, knowing that bracelets are hard for her to put on the clasp. "What a minute." Kagome notices something.

"What?" Inuyasha asks her. Kagome goes back into her room to pull out her smartwatch. "I think Rin knows what kind of watch I have and the bracelet is actually a replacement band for it." Kagome said to him as she gets the regular leather band clasps off of her smartwatch and the replacement on.

Inuyasha blinks. "That reminds me. Rin gave me this smartwatch for the mission." He shows the device to her. "Ok. And how is it that it's going to help out." Kagome looks at it. "Like this." Inuyasha smugly said as he pressed the one button, and the device makes him human. Kagome didn't see that coming. "Ok, I'm not fully awake as I thought." She rubs her eyes to make sure she's not going crazy, and he's still in his human disguise.

"Anyway, we need to get to school before anyone else we know will find out why we'd be late." Inuyasha suggests her as he gathers his supplies. Kagome does the same as they both go to their individual cars and head to their destination.

Kagome finds a free parking spot in the teacher's parking lot while Inuyasha finds another not far from hers. "So this must be the place?" Kagome asks him as he walks up to her with his messenger bag and a mug that has a miniature camera on the side. "Just like any other school we used to go back then." Inuyasha comments as they enter the building, "Now remember that we have to use our fake names so no one would get suspicious." He whispers as they go into the office. "Good morning." Inuyasha greets one of the workers. One of them looks up. "Oh, good morning to you too. I take it that you must be Toga Tikishima and Miyuki Aino." The worker assumes as she begins to find their files with their 'fake' names on it.

"Yes, that's us. I'm sorry for what happened to the former teachers. If only they gotten the killer sooner." Inuyasha said to her nicely. The worker nods sadly. "I hope so. That person, whoever that is, needs to be found as soon as possible. In the meantime, make sure you do whatever you can to protect our students." The worker said as she hands over the two files to them. "And welcome to our school. Have a nice day." She spoke before resuming whatever she was doing.

Inuyasha and Kagome open their files to see which of their classrooms they are required to teach. "OK, so far we're on the second floor on the north end of the building." Kagome spoke first seeing that her classroom is at the end of the hallway by a set of stairs they came up on.

Inuyasha reads his. "I'm a few rooms down that way. I just have to be strict with these kids. There's no telling what they might be doing without us knowing." Kagome arrives at the assigned room. "Ok then, I might as well begin teaching. I'll see you later." She goes in. Inuyasha feels that Kagome is out of his reach as he continues on until he spots his classroom. He enters and sees that it's a history subject. "Feh. I've lived for hundreds of years. This should be no brainer." He smirks as he begins to see the equipment that his messenger bag has. From little cameras on all four corners of the in the ceiling to the little microphones under the desks for the student sit, let alone notice.

Kagome does her part to set up her classroom of science. Just to be careful, she puts up the little cameras around the room with the little microphones under the ledge of the tables when the student sit down. She looks around to see if there's anything else out of place. Nothing. Soon enough the door opens as a few student the room and take their seats.

Kagome takes a deep breath. "Good morning, class. My name is Mrs. Aino. And I'll be your teacher for the rest of the year." Kagome said to her class as she writes her fake name on the white dry eraser board in big letters so that all of the students can read it. "Good morning, Mrs. Aino." The class replies nicely.

Kagome smiles. "Ok, let's get started. Can one of you tell me where you on the last time were before you know what happened the other day?" Kagome asks them respectfully so that the student wouldn't be so scared about being reminded about that fateful day. One student raised his hand"We were at…"

Inuyasha waits impatiently as his room begins to fill up with the students that have his class. "Morning class. I'm Mr. Tikishima. And I'll be your history teacher for the remainder of this year." Inuyasha speaks as the last student takes his spot. "I'm sorry that things got a bit unsettling for awhile, but I will do whatever I can to protect you from anyone who would try something else that caused this in the first place. For now, we will resume with what was on the last time your teacher left you at." Inuyasha said to them seriously yet carefully not to scare them any further. "Mr. Tikishima we were at this part…" One of the students spoke to let him know where they need to resume their subject. Inuyasha walks up to him to see that they're at a particular time period that he knows way to well. "Ah, ok. Well let's get going." He said as he begins his lesson.
