#282 Trait (Materialistic)

"What's wrong Eve?" Aoi asked in concern at the odd look on the blonde's face.

"Huh." Eve shook her head.

Aoi waited for her new roommate to answer her question. She sat down on the freshly made bed.

"Just surprised that you don't have more things." Eve folded her arms across her chest. "Guess the rest of the stuff is coming later." She shrugged.

Aoi's right eye lifted in question. "This is it. It's a small room Eve. Two people are going to be living in it for the next seven months."

"Just surprised is all." Eve turned back to her own bed. She opened her bag to begin to unpack.

"Why?" Aoi looked at Eve's strong and firm back. She felt her face heat up in a blush at the way Eve's muscles moved in the thin cotton t-shirt that she wore.

"I'm just surprised that you didn't bring more things from your mansion is all Princess." Eve said in a bemused tone.

"I don't have all that much." Aoi shrugged. "The only things that I keep are what is most important to me. My golf clubs of course are always with me."

Eve's head twisted in surprise. "How aren't you more materialistic?" She had a bemused smile on her face.

"Not all rich people are materialistic Eve." Aoi rolled her eyes.

"Hmm ... you are honestly the first one that I have met." Eve turned her eyes back to her bag. "Interesting."

"Glad that I interest you." Aoi smiled.

"So you play Golf." Eve spoke in a light voice.

"I take it you play Golf also." Aoi didn't miss that certain note in Eve's voice. "I have a feeling that you and I Eve are going to be playing quite a bit of Golf in our time here at school."

Eve laughed softly. She unpacked in silence.

Aoi silently watched her new roommate unpack, and set up her side of their dorm room.
