The group is walking towards the Cathedral, when Natsu, who now has Ruby on his back, stops. "Something wrong, Natsu?" Lisanna asks, and Natsu shakes his head.
"No, I just thought that someone should take Ruby and Wendy to Porlyusica." Natsu says.
"Ruby, I understand, but why Wendy?" Gray asks.
"After a Dragon Slayer comes out of Dragon's Wrath mode, their Mate should be the first thing they see, or it's possible they could panic, and go back into the mode, and considering the exhaustion the mode causes, it can be dangerous to the Dragon Slayer. But moreover, if the Squirt isn't the first thing the Dragoness sees, and she does go into the mode again, she could be a danger to the old bat." Gajeel explains, getting ready to head back to the guild.
"Gajeel's right." Natsu and Jaune agree.
"I can take them." Erza says, taking Ruby off Natsu's back and heading for Wendy, who Lucy's carrying, but Jaune grabs her.
"I'll go with you, I haven't met the guilds doctor, and a Dragon Slayer should be there to explain some things, and Natsu should stay here." Jaune answers her inquisitive look, she nods, and the two head into the forest, after a while Jaune sees a large green tree with a couple windows and a large ornate door. "I'm guessing she's a loner, or doesn't like being around people?" He asks.
"Most would call Porlyusica a hermit, but you're more correct, she doesn't like people." Erza says, when she notices Jaune, stop and sniff the air. "What do you smell?" She asks.
"This area is saturated in a scent that almost completely matches Wendy's Dragon Scent." He explains, confusing her a bit.
"Her Dragon Scent?" She inquires.
"Until Dragon Slayers, come of age, we have two scents, the scent we have from being born human, and the scent of our Dragon Parent, but once we turn 18 those two scents merge, creating a scent unique to that Dragon Slayer." He explains, and she nods.
"I'm surprised how complicated Dragon Slayer Magic is turning out to be." She says. "I wonder how Natsu keeps everything straight?" She mumbles.
"You'll be surprised, I've talked to Salamander, Wendy and Black Steel, Natsu had the most in depth knowledge of the three, but there's a few things he doesn't know, but in a talk with Ruby, I learned Ruby and I were taught every detail of Dragon Slayer Magic, at least I thought she was. No Dragon Slayer who knows about it would ever use Dragon's Wrath Mode, yes it's a powerful increase, it is technically a Pseudo Dragon Force, but the level of exhaustion it leaves one with is indescribable." He explains.
"How long do you think she'll be out?" Erza asks.
"Oh, she'll probably be up and moving by tomorrow, but we can't let her fight for a while." Jaune says.
"Why are we taking her to Porlyusica, you seem to know what to do about her?" She asks, they don't notice the pink haired woman, standing at the door, and sees him sigh.
"What I just told you, Salamander also could've told you, it just comes with being a Dragon Slayer, but I'm no doctor, Salamander, Black Steel and I want to make sure those cauterized wounds aren't going to cause her problems." He says.
"What do you mean?" She asks, making him sigh again.
"This is what annoys me about the world, the Magic Councils, deciding what type of knowledge is good and what's harmful, is more harmful than any Dark Mage could ever be." He says.
"Interesting take, you have their boy." The old lady says.
"Oh, hello Porlyusica." Erza says.
"What were you saying, boy?" Porlyusica asks.
"I was going to say, if the Magic Councils didn't hide knowledge, well more appropriately I should say they hoard Knowledge and hide it, Erza wouldn't have to ask, why cauterization by different flames could be more dangerous to their wielder than helpful. In this case Ruby's flames, the Flames of Ruin, are the most dangerous flames in existence." Jaune says.
"I don't understand, aren't they all flames?" Erza asks.
"No, only regular fire magics use regular fire, all Fire Slayers and Fire entities use unique named flames. Fire Dragons have the Flames of Emotion, Purgatory Dragons have Flames of Disaster, Hell Flame Dragons, fittingly, have the Flames of Hell. Then you have the Fire Devils and Devil Slayers use Flames of Corruption, Fire Gods and God Slayers use Flames of Purification, and last and the strongest Fire entity in existence, the Black Flame Dragon Fatalis : the Black Dragon of Ruination, and his Black Flames of Ruin, the same flames that Ruby shares." He explains.
"Interesting, now what happened to these two?" Porlyusica asks, letting them into her house, and they set Ruby and Wendy down on the beds.
"Nothing is wrong with Wendy, other than passing out from shock, but Salamander, Black Steel and I request that you check Ruby's cauterized wounds, to make sure they aren't a problem." He says, and she nods.
"If that one only passed out from shock why'd you bring her here instead of taking her home?" Porlyusica asks.
"In any other situation we would have, but Ruby also recently passed out from a Mode pertaining to Dragon Slayer Magic, and if she wakes up and doesn't see Wendy, it's highly probable she might panic and go back into it, and in that state she could be a threat to you, Mrs. Dreyar." Jaune says, shocking Erza, while Porlyusica snorts.
"So you can smell that, just like that hot-head?" Porlyusica asks, shocking Erza more.
"Wait what, what does that mean?!" Erza yells, but shrinks when Porlyusica glares at her.
"Miss Scarlett, I expect you to not tell anyone of what I'm about to tell you." Porlyusica glares.
"Yes, ma'am." Erza squeaks.
"Makarov and I were once intimate, let's just say Laxus is my grandson, though Makarov and I were never officially married." Porlyusica says, and Erza just stands there, then passes out herself. "Take her back to the Guild, and don't breathe a word of what you now know." She glares, and he nods simply.
"I wasn't going to, and ma'am, you can't intimidate me, I've been face to face with an annoyed and angry Acnologia, nothing on Earthland is more terrifying than that." Jaune says, shocking her, as he picks up Erza and goes to leave but stops. "Right, when they wake, you'll need Wendy's help to check Ruby, she'll probably be very tense, and Wendy's the only one she'll probably let touch her. And do you have any idea why you have a very similar scent to Wendy's Dragon Parent, Grandeeney?" He asks.
"Because I am her, in a way, I'm another world's version of her." She says, and he nods.
"So you're the Edolas counterpart of Grandeeney." He says, leaving not noticing her shocked look.
[Next Day]
In the Guild everyone is sitting and talking waiting for the group to explain what happened and how Lisanna is still alive, when they hear the doors open and see Ruby and Wendy walk in, there the last they were waiting on, but are shocked from the scar on her face, they also notice she's holding Wendy's wrist, obviously protectively. "Alright Natsu, all of you are here, you said you would tell us what happened, and it better involve what happened to Ruby." Makarov says, and Jaune walks up.
"Instead of telling, I can show you, Ruby, Wendy can you step up?" Jaune asks, and they nod, and he puts his hands on their head, and gains a look of deep concentration. "Memory Projection." He says, and they are surprised to see three white orbs appear, which proceeds to show the events of Edolas over the next few hours, from the viewpoints of Jaune, Wendy, and Ruby, but it's the event of Ruby fighting Ruby Thorn that really shocks everyone.
(So that's what happened.) Wendy thinks, grabbing ahold of Ruby's hand, who's shaking, something Wendy's never seen before.
(So that's what pushed her into Dragon's Wrath Mode.) Natsu thinks, clenching his fists, having seen Ruby be tortured by her counterpart, and the things Thorn said, he even sees Gajeels fists clenching, same with Gray and Erza. By the end of the showing, the whole guild is gaping, and Jaune takes his hands off Wendy and Ruby's heads.
"I can't believe the ordeal the 12 of you went through, to get us back, it warms this old man's heart. But Ruby, are you alright, you seemed to have gone through the most during this ordeal." Makarov asks, walking towards her, but everyone is shocked when she growls at him, and Wendy pulls Ruby behind her.
"Sorry, Master Makarov, but it seems Dragon's Wrath Mode is having some lingering effects on Ruby's protectiveness." Wendy says.
"It's fine Wendy, I understand." Makarov says, backing off.
"You're completely right, Squirt, but there is something else going on. The Dragon part of your Souls is settling, well, more over the Dragoness's moreso, is settling, finding ones Mate through Dragon's Wrath Mode, is an extreme wake up call to one's Dragon instincts." Gajeel explains.
"What's that mean?" A green-haired girl asks.
"What that means, Bisca, is Ruby's mentally more dragon than human right now, and seemingly only us Dragon Slayers can get close to the two of them, but it should be settled in a few days." Natsu explains, he then sees Erza glare at him, and he sighs but Lisanna puts her hand on his shoulder, and he smiles, he looks back at Erza and nods, the whole exchange does not go unnoticed by Makarov.
"Everyone, Natsu has something he needs to say!" Erza yells, getting everyone's attention, though Natsu is still unsure of what to say.
"Alright, I don't want anyone interrupting me, so please wait till I'm done talking, to say anything." Natsu says, everyone nods, and he sighs again. "Over the last two years, I've known Lisanna was alive, it was a Dragon Slayer thing. Elfman, Miranane, I'm sorry since this is unfair to you, but I never told you, because my dragon instincts blamed the two of you for her disappearance, since I had tried to tell you, I had a bad feeling about that job, and to please take me. Aside from Cana, the rest of you who were here at the time, I hated you for writing her off so quickly, when all that was said was that she dissipated in gold particles. And over the last two years, the times I've said I was going out to look for Igneel, I was lying, I had actually been going out to look for Lisanna. So Lucy, I have to apologize to you as well, when I met you at Hargeon, I wasn't looking for Igneel, the Council had old man Yajima tip me off, that there was a girl in Hargeon that matched Lisanna's description, I think they just wanted me to capture Bora, and were messing with me." He says, now looking at the ground, and everyone in the guild is looking at him in shock, except for Lisanna, Gajeel, Jaune, Wendy and Ruby, though the guild is also shocked when Ruby walks over and hugs him, seemingly speaking, but all everyone hears is guttural growls and hisses
"Tir ti xihood zahae svabol astahii siofme di wux, isthasy, astahii shilta ti kampiun hesi slathiri." Ruby growls, and Natsu smiles speaking in the same growls and hisses.
"Vinxa, myvish." Natsu growls.
"What's going on?" Makarov asks, looking at Gajeel, Jaune and Wendy.
"They're speaking Draconic." Gajeel says.
"What are they saying?" Mira asks.
"They're accepting that they see each other like siblings." Jaune says.
"And Ruby, told Natsu not to care what you guys think of him, that it doesn't really matter, if you can't or refuse to understand our Dragon Instincts." Wendy explains, shocking them, but they understand, cause it is difficult to understand what they deal with, with their Dragon Instincts, Mira walks up to the two, and Ruby sits there lowly growling at her.
"Natsu. I believe I speak for the guild, when I say we're hurt that you didn't trust us, but Ruby's right, we can't understand what you guy's deal with, when it comes to the Dragon Instincts the 5 of you have, but maybe, the 5 of you could help us understand your instincts." Mira says.
"Now Natsu, why exactly did all of that, us giving up on Lisanna quickly, make you so mad?" Wakaba asks, and instead of Natsu it's Lisanna who answers, and she grabs Natsu's hand.
"I'm Natsu's Mate, and Dragon Slayer's treasure their Mates, above anything else, so you guy's can't fathom how much hell Natsu was dealing with, with me being gone." Lisanna explains, shocking everyone but the Dragon Slayers, Exceed, Cana, Lucy and Erza.
"Why didn't either of you say anything before?" Mira asks.
"Well, the both of us kind of just understood, and I was too annoyingly stubborn, to admit it to anyone else but Happy and Lisanna." Natsu says.
[Week later]
Ruby, Wendy, Yang and Carla walk into the guild and see pure chaos, practically every member is running around and getting food, then heading towards the job board and grabbing jobs. "What's going on?" Ruby asks, confused and they walk over to Mira, then they see Natsu run out of the guild with a job as Gray runs in, shirtless.
"Gray, where's your shirt?" Mira asks
"Forget about the shirt, Mira, what jobs are still available?" Gray asks, grabbing another job, and running out.
"Mira what's going on?" Ruby asks.
"You guys will learn tomorrow, though Cana's a bit odd this year." Mira says.
"What do you mean, she's acting like she usually does." Wendy says.
"Yeah and that is a little odd, for this time of year." Erza says.
"What does that mean?" Yang asks, confused.
"Well, Cana usually gets depressed around this time of year, at least for the previous three years she did." Levy says, and the four shrug, the next day comes around, and there's a bunch of people in the guild.
"Wow, there's a lot more people here than usual, what could be going on?" Ruby mutters, Wendy, Carla and Yang nod in agreement, then the stage's curtains raise and we see Makarov, Mira, Erza and Gildarts.
"As is Fairy Tail tradition, I shall now present the list of mages eligible to take the S-Class Promotion Trials!" Makarov yells, and the guild roars, happy. "This year the location of the trials is Tenrou Island, Sacred Grounds of Fairy Tail, and I have spent the last year discerning each mages power, heart and soul! 8 Mages have been chosen, Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster, Juvia Lockser, Elfman Strauss, Cana Alberona, Freed Justine, Levy Mcgarden and Mest Gryder!" He yells, and everyone cheers for those chosen.
(Mest Gryder, who's he? I've never heard of him, or seen him around the guild.) Ruby and Wendy think.
"Only one will pass, this year, the trial will be in one week!" Makarov yells, and Carla then has a flash of pain, and sees three images, a red crest almost looking like a heart, a black haired teen, wearing black robes, and an image of Acnologia, horrifying Carla. "And since we have some newcomers here, We'll go over the rules!" He yells.
"During the one week preparation, each of the chosen, …must pick a partner." Mira explains.
"The rules for partners are, they must be a Fairy Tail Mage, and Can't be an S-Class Mage." Erza explains.
"We'll explain the details of the trials, once we get to Tenrou. But be aware, that Erza, Mirajane and Gildarts, will all be obstacles this time. I want each of the chosen Mages and their partners, gathered at Hargeon in one week, that is all!" He yells, walking off and Carla walks off after him, a few hours later we find everyone sitting at a table.
"Have any of you decided on your partners?" Lucy asks.
"Last year, Loke and I made a decision for him to be my partner this year, if I was chosen, but he told me that the Celestial Spirit King forbade him from helping me for some reason, so I asked Jaune." Gray says.
"And I agreed, better than sitting around and doing nothing, or taking missions that don't challenge me." Jaune says.
"Originally Happy was my partner of choice, but Master said no, at least until Happy learns some Magic like Yang and Carla do, and that he has a job for the Exceed, during the trials, already. So I decided to ask Ruby." Natsu says.
"Right you two have that sibling bond going on, how did that even happen, you two haven't known each other very long?" Lucy asks.
"Both Ruby and I are some form of Fire Dragon Slayer, and Fire Dragon's are the most emotional of all Dragons, and they are also quick to bond with others, I see Wendy the same." Natsu explains.
"Anyway, I said yes, pretty much for the same reason as Jaune." Ruby says, happy.
"Well, how about you Juvia?" Lucy asks, but sees her glaring at Jaune. "Right, guess you would've preferred to not be a contender, so you could possibly be Gray's partner." She says.
"I was good friends with your Edolas counterpart, so how about I team up with you Juvia." Lisanna says, surprising a girl with blue hair and eyes, pale skin, wearing a blue shawl.
"Well, while you guys decide on that, Ruby and I will be training!" Natsu says, as he and Ruby leave the guild.
"It's odd, Natsu doesn't seem as excited to be chosen, as much as he wanted to be, in the past two years." Levy says, walking up with Gajeel beside.
"That's probably because Lisanna is back, if Natsu attained S-Class, he'd have had more time and options to search for her with." Wendy says.
"What do you mean?" Lucy asks.
"Well, Rune Knights and any Authorities, that aren't the Magic Council or the Royal Knights, are required to cooperate with S-Class Mages, when they're on a job or searching for someone." Wendy explains, shocking them, that night Ruby comes back from training, and sees Wendy cooking.
"What are you cooking?" Ruby asks.
"Just some basic stew, with some potatoes, carrots, onions and meat. So, it looks like you're not the only one who'll be going to Tenrou." Wendy says.
"Oh, did someone ask you too?" Ruby asks.
"That guy, Mest." Wendy says, and Ruby's eyes harden. "I'm not even looking, and I know you feel the same I do about him. I don't trust him, as far as I can throw him, and with enough magic I could throw him across Fiore." She says, and the two chuckle, at that.
"You'd think someone in Fairy Tail, considered for the S-Class trials, would be well known, but I've never heard of this guy. Seriously, Natsu, Gray, Juvia and Freed are very well known, Elfman, Cana and Levy are also decently well known." Ruby says, annoyed.
"I know, at least this way, someone can actually keep an eye on him." Wendy says. "So are we going to talk about what your counterpart in Edolas said, and that we're Mates, or are you going to keep avoiding it? Aunt Siora told Natsu and thus the Guild not to ask you, but not me." Wendy says, and Yang and Carla come in, hearing the newest topic, and Ruby looks down at the table.
"I don't mean to avoid it, but with the Mate thing, like you I'm still coming to terms with it, I didn't expect to find my Mate until I was older, since Dragon Slayers don't normally find Mates at our age. I mean, I guess I should've known; you're important to me after all." Ruby says.
"You treasure me, is what you told Thorn in your memory." Wendy says.
"Yeah." Ruby says, and both of them are blushing. "Gods, I'm glad we're Dragon Slayer's, we don't have to figure Love out like normal people, but still, this is awkward." She says, and Wendy nods.
"Yeah, I know, you'd think with us being Dragon Slayers, it'd be impossible for us to get embarrassed about this." Wendy says.
"That's because the two of you are still kids, you may be Dragon Slayers but intimacy is still alien to the both of you, it won't change the fact that, how you go about this new relationship or these new feelings, is a learning process." Carla says, wisely.
"Carla's right, all being a Dragon Slayer does is make it to where you don't have to figure out what love is, and that you know who you love without question." Yang says, and it's quiet for a while.
"And about what Thorn said, it's not something I really consider important, but I'll tell you as much as I can. I wasn't born in Earthland, I was born in a reality called Remnant, to my blood father Tai-Yang Xiao-Long and blood mother Summer Rose, I have an older sister named Yang Xiao-Long and is the reason Yang as a name felt important to me, I have a sort of Uncle or Godfather named Qrow Branwen, and that's all I really know, since they pertain to me, oh also, my eyes are supposed to be special, don't know why though." Ruby says.
"That's really all you know?" Carla asks.
"Yeah, as I said Remnant isn't really important to me, Eathland, Fiore is my home, Fatalis is who I see as my father, Siora is who I see as my mother, you and Yang are my little sisters, and Wendy is my Mate, I just never really cared to know more about it, that's why Mom only told me about the bits that pertain directly to me." Ruby says,and Wendy nods, turning the stove off and pouring stew in four bowls, but adds something else to Ruby's.
"Here we are." Wendy says, setting the bowls down. "And very spicy like you like yours Ruby." She says.
"Yes, you're the best Wendy!" Ruby yells.
[Week Later]
We see Ruby, Natsu, Wendy, Mest, Jaune, Gray, Gajeel, Levy, Lisanna, Juvia, Lucy and Cana walking through Hargeon, a town on the ocean. "So Jaune has a little fan, that's cute." Lucy says.
"Annoyings more like it, Sherry and her little cousin wouldn't leave us alone, the whole week." Gray says, annoyed.
"Get over it, Gray, Chelia's just a kid, and she could've been sold into Slavery, if I hadn't been on that job, when everyone was doing jobs like it was the end of the world. The kid's lucky she isn't traumatized from the ordeal, and that I was able to control myself." Jaune says.
"What does that mean?" Cana asks.
"I don't get angry easy, but when I got to the camp, the slavers were working out of, the bastards were talking about how they had their way with Chelia's mother, before killing her, and capturing Chelia, and that they hoped the kid grew up to look like her Mother, it's really the only time I've ever been absolutely furious." Jaune explains, and they can feel his magic spiking.
"It doesn't seem like you did control yourself, I heard about that job, I heard those guys were beaten really badly, they were each practically beaten into a comatose state, and some even died later, in a hospital for prisoners." Mest says.
"Tch, as far as I care, they got off scott free, most of them are still alive." Jaune says.
"That's a little harsh, don't you think?" Levy asks.
"I have to agree with Jaune on this one." Gajeel says.
"Normally I'd be with you Levy, but few things anger Dragon Slayers more than what Jaune had to deal with." Natsu says.
"I wouldn't have even tried to hold myself back, I would've ripped those bastards apart!" Ruby snarls, and Wendy nods.
"Yeah, this stems from Dragon Slayers, like Dragons being Matriarchal, even though female dragons are stronger, women are cherished, to a degree, in Draconic society. Thus something like what Jaune dealt with, enrages Dragon Slayers, only the harming of our Mates, pisses us off more than harming a woman." Wendy explains.
"Huh, that explains Natsu at times, he's always seemed more protective of the girls, than any other guy in the guild, but what about you Gajeel." Levy says, and he looks away.
"Uh, when all that happened, Jose had actually told me to kill whatever Fairy Tail members I found that night, but when it was you, it wasn't feasibly possible." Gajeel explains.
"Oh." Levy says, and it's silent from that point, until they make it to a boat that has the Fairy Tail symbol on it.
"Aw, this is going to suck." Ruby says, Natsu, Jaune and Wendy nod.
"Wait, do the three of you have motion sickness like Salamander?" Gajeel asks, and they nod. "Hmph, guess that means I'm the strongest, out of the 5 of us." He boasts.
"Actually, it means you haven't come into your full strength, and you aren't pulling out your full potential yet, meaning you're the weakest of the 5 of us." Jaune says, and Gajeel face-faults, and Levy pats him on the back, comforting him. When they get on the boat, they see Makarov, talking with Carla, Happy, Panther Lily, Yang and Faye, then they see Elfman sitting beside a woman with long, light brown hair and dark brown eyes, wearing a green dress. Then off to the side is a guy with long, light green hair and blue eyes, wearing a dark red, knee-length double breasted coat, and another guy wearing a tight fit blue suit, with a helmeted hood.
"So everyone's here, time to get moving then." Makarov says, as the boat starts moving, and Natsu, Ruby, Wendy and Jaune fall to the ground, and after a few hours the boat is out in the middle of the ocean, and all the older girls are now in bikinis.
"Th-this really su-sucks, it's s-so hot, and my mo-motion sickness is at an a-all time high." Wendy says, on the ground in pain, and Jaune moans in pain, and agreement with Wendy.
"The mo-motion sickness is th-the only pr-problem I'm ha-having." Ruby and Natsu both say, in the same pain as Wendy and Jaune, and after another few minutes the boat comes to a complete stop, and the four get up, they all look out at an island with a massive tree that has another same sized island on top.
"Wow that's so cool, I've never heard of Islands that look like this, I didn't know it was possible." Ruby says, amazed by the island.
"They say that fairies once lived on this island. And this is the place where the Guild's First Master, Mavis Vermillion, now rests. Now I shall reveal the first test, you see the stream of smoke, the first order of business, is to make it there. Once you get there, there will be 8 paths to take, and only one path will be allowed per pair. The paths will proceed like this, only the teams who have successfully completed their path…, will pass the first test!" Makarov yells, as a screen pops up like Archive.
"Gildarts, Erza and Mira, fall under fierce Battle, then there are 4 paths that go to 2 different areas that say battle, then the last path says peace and quiet." Ruby reads off.
"The Battle path is where two teams will bump into each other, only one of the two teams can pass through. Now Fierce Battle will be the toughest path, since the teams that end up on those path's, will have to face one of our 3 S-Class. While the peace and quiet path, it's rather self explanatory. Now the aims of the first test are fighting power and luck!" Makarov yells, pointing a hand fan at them.
"So in theory 6 teams could pass at most." The brown haired girl says.
"Not a chance! I don't think anybody could beat Gildarts and Erza!" Elfman yells.
"So, at worst, only 3 teams will pass the first test." Levy says.
"Sounds like fun!" Gajeel says, excited.
"Now let the first test begin!" Makarov yells.
"About time!" Natsu yells, and several of them go to jump off the boat, but hit a wall, as runes appear all over the boat's railing.
"This is Freed's Jutsu Shiki." Levy says.
"Don't worry It'll disappear after I get a 5 minute head start." The guy with light green hair says, flying off towards the island, with magic wings on his back.
"Ruby, can't you just burn these runes away?" Natsu asks, and she nods.
"I could, or I could just do this." Rubys says, grabbing his shoulder, and the two disappear, then they appear over the smoke stream.
"Yeah, a rune barrier, is useless against Ruby, who knows Teleportation Magic, she doesn't really see a need to use it often, though." Wendy say's lamenting that she never learned it, right now.
"What?! I know Teleportation Magic, but I can't teleport out of this barrier!" Mest thinks, shocked, and shocking everyone else.

"It's not as easy as that Young Faye, yes, Acnologia is Jaune's Dragon Parent, but that Dragon is a true monster, he's wiped out entire countries, just because he could or just because he wanted to, he's a creature of pure malice, the fact that Jaune is even alive today, is a miracle one that I expect has to do with Castien. But enough about that, you 5 are to survey the Island, here are some communication Lacrima, if you spot anything that you think could be out of place or anyone that isn't a Fairy Tail Mage report it to me immediately, and be on the lookout for young man with black hair and eyes wearing a black robe, if you see him, well you know. Now when things start happening, report it, and only get involved if our mages are fighting." Makarov orders, and the five nod.
"One thing, Master, If we know things are going to happen, why wouldn't you just change the Trial's location?" She asks, and he nods.
"There are other factors here, that I cannot explain to you, I apologize, Faye." He says, but she nods in acknowledgement, and flies off to scout the island.

We see a ball of light floating through a volcanic land, when it floats down to a cave, and two pale red pools open in the darkness. "Grandeeney, what are you doing here, you know you shouldn't be here." A gruff voice comes out of the cave, and the light sighs.
"Igneel, we need to talk, I've already talked to Metalicana, Weisslogia and Skiadrum." The light and kind voice of Grandeeney, comes from the ball of light. "Wendy was attacked by some bandits a few days ago, and saved by another Dragon Slayer, but it wasn't one of ours." Grandeeney says.
"Hmph, what's so important, that you'd risk your soul, to talk to each of us?" Igneel asks, and Grandeeney sighs.
"This Dragon Slayer, Ruby Rose, a girl Wendy's age, introduced herself as Fatalis's daughter." She says. shocking Igneel.
"What?! A Dragon Slayer trained by Fatalis…, a Black Flame Dragon Slayer, and most of all a Dragon Slayer trained by an Elder Dragon! This is unheard of, Grandeeney, keep an eye on this child, and keep us informed!" He orders.
"That was my plan, but she seems like a good kid to me, but I will watch her as best as I can." Grandeeney says.
