Our story begins at Titans East tower. The team is busy honing their skills in the practice room. Speedy shoots moving targets at the indoor shooting range, Aqualad and Bumblebee practice hand to hand combat on one another, and Mas y Menos return to the tower after conducting their round the world speed tests. Mas then pulls out their speedometer to check their results.
"Oooh, Mach seis punto ochenta y ocho." said Mas.
"Cual fue nuestra ultima prueba de velocidad alrededor del mundo?" asked Menos.
"Mach seis punto ochenta y cinco." answered Mas.
"Oooh, a este ritmo, seremos mas rapidos que Senor Kid Flash." replied Menos.
They both high five in order to congratulate one another before turning their attention to Speedy. The master archer releases many explosive arrows in quick succession and hits twenty-four rapidly moving targets perfectly in the center. As the destroyed targets sink into the floor, five new targets pop up and move just as fast.
Speedy draws five arrows all at once, turns his bow sideways, and attempts to concentrate on the targets. He focuses intensely, trying to observe the pattern of movement for each hit marker. Once he studied the pattern, he waits for each target to get in the opportune positioning.
He could feel time slowing down as he focuses intensely. Then, as the targets appear in front of him, all visible and positioned perfectly, he releases all five arrows at once. Each arrow explodes its respective target in quick succession.
"Oooh, muy impresionante, Senor Speedy." said Mas y Menos.
The titans all stop what they are doing after noticing the alarm and red lights suddenly go off around them.
"Sounds like we got trouble, everyone head to the ops center!" ordered Bumblebee.
Titans East follows her orders and runs out of the practice room. Once they reach the ops center, Bumblebee flies over to a control panel. She then reveals the towers radar on the big screen which reveals dozens of small red triangles quickly approaching the tower.
"Uhm guys?! We're gonna have a lot of company!" said Aqualad nervously.
"How long until they reach the tower?!" asked Speedy.
Just then, a massive explosion strikes the tower and causes Titans East to get knocked back and shield their eyes. One second later, Gordanians and Slade robots swarm in. They quickly surround Titans East and point their blasters at them. Titans East then uncovers their eyes and notices the dozens of enemies that surround them.
"Does this answer your question?" asked a snarky Bumblebee.
As the smoke begins to disappear, five humanoid looking figures walk toward the five heroes. It was the menacing Slade surrounded by four of his upgraded robots. Behind the mastermind, the titans notice only a handful of the many Gordanian ships that surround the tower. With their home breached, many hostiles surrounding them, and a notorious villain standing before them, Titans East feels a sense of anxiety they have yet to experience, at least not in a while.
"Titans East, I presume?" asked Slade.
"What do you want, Slade?" asked Bumblebee in an unwelcoming tone.
"Someone very powerful needs you all for something very important, and I have been bestowed the honor of delivering you all to him. So, we could either do this the easy way, or the hard way." said the evil mastermind.
"Titans Go!" shouts Bumblebee.
Titans East starts to fight against their intruders. Mas y Menos begin speeding around the room to take down gordanians and robots, Speedy rapidly shoots arrows in all directions, Aqualad uses his hydrokinesis to crash water into enemies, and Bumblebee zaps enemies with her stingers.
"Of course they choose the hard way." remarked Slade.
"Take them down!" he shouts while ordering his robots.
The four robots charge toward the young heroes. As Titans East finishes with the last of the first wave, they all notice the four mechanical threats just before they strike each individual titan. The young heroes get knocked down, but they quickly stand back up to fight.
Bumblebee faces off against one of the robots by attempting to zap it with her stingers, however, the robot dodges each continuous zap thanks to its enhanced agility. After dodging the last zap, the robot jumps toward Bumblebee to deliver a kick, however, Bumblebee counters by swiftly grabbing its mechanical leg and throwing it behind her. The robot effortlessly lands on its feet just before charging toward the titan.
It then attempts to strike Bumblebee with its electric staff, but she swiftly dodges the attack and attempts to counter with a sidekick to the face. The robot ducks to avoid the kick and counters with a leg sweep. After Bumblebee falls on the ground, the robot attempts to once again strike with its staff, but Bumblebee quickly flies away to avoid the strike.
Distance is created between her and the opponent just before shrinking her size. The titan aggressively zig zags in the air in order to confuse the enemy, yet she doesn't know the advanced lock on mechanism equipped to the high-tech bodyguard's vision helps it concentrate on the titans' sudden maneuvers. As Bumblebee flies straight towards her enemy, the robot jumps in the air to perform a three-sixty roundhouse kick against her. The intense force of the kick sends her flying across the room so fast that she slams straight into the wall on the other side.
As she grows back to normal size and lays on the floor in pain, another one of the four robots Naruto sprints toward Speedy, swiftly and effectively dodging the incoming arrows. When the robot gets close enough, it leaps in the air and attempts to strike the titan with its electric staff. However, Speedy quickly blocks the attack with his bow.
The two opponents stay deadlocked for a few seconds before separating. The robot then drops a smoke bomb at its feet. As the smoke begins to disappear, Speedy notices the robot has as well.
He then readies his bow and arrow and quickly looks around the room while cautiously walking backwards. Suddenly, he hears the enemies staff reactivate behind him, but before he could react, he gets struck by the weapon. As he lays on the ground, the robot deactivates its active camouflage ability.
On Aqualad's end, he is constantly dodging his opponents' attacks. As the robot he is fighting against increases the speed of its strikes, Aqualad grows more tired. Suddenly, the robot strikes him in the chest with its staff. The robot proceeds to walk over to the defenseless titan and prepare to strike again. However, Aqualad uses his hydrokinesis to strike the robot, effectively knocking it away from him.
Aqualad proceeds to stand up. As he stares at his opponent who is now laying on the floor, he lifts his arms up to conjure a ball of water to hopefully finish his opponent. However, the robot that fought Bumblebee notices the titan and charges toward him, delivering Aqualad a strong kick and destroying the ball of water.
The titan stumbles backwards, attempting to regain his balance while uncontrollably walking towards the robot that fought Speedy which kicks him straight in the air. The robot that fought Bumblebee combos this with a midair strike.
Mas y Menos are now the only ones that remain. They and the robot stare at one another, firmly locked onto one another's eyes, all ready to pounce.
"Mas y Menos! Si podemos!"
They sprint toward the robot and attempt to strike. However, the robot quickly jumps up and flips above them to avoid being hit. Mas y Menos stare at their opponent with confusion before trying again. The result was the same; the robot jumps over the two titans to avoid getting hit. Mas y Menos continually try to assault their enemy, but the machine keeps repeatedly evading them.
The two speedsters then stop and notice that the robotic menace has disappeared. They look around the room to find it but are only left confused. The robot then reappears behind them after deactivating its active camouflage and strikes the titans.
Mas y Menos get knocked in the air and land next to bumblebee. She notices that Titans East not only have yet to defeat the robots but are also getting beaten badly. She also notices a Gordanian ship enter the tower and drop off a new wave of enemies. With the situation turning dire, Bumblebee decides to go for a plan B.
"Mas! Menos! Activate the T-sub! We're leaving!" she ordered.
Mas y Menos stand back up, touch hands, and head for the sub.
"Aqualad, Speedy! We're falling back to the T-Sub hanger, let's go!"
Bumblebee flies out of the room with Aqualad and Speedy following her. After they exit the room, Speedy grabs an arrow and shoots the control panel for the main door which causes it to shut completely. Two of Slades' advanced robots attempt to pull it open, but to no avail.
Meanwhile, the three titans stop in front of the elevator. Bumblebee presses the down button, but it fails to light up. She presses the button again, multiple times, still it refuses to light up.
"Ugh, come on, you stupid thing!" grunted Bumblebee.
"It must've gotten damaged when those ships fired on the tower." said Speedy.
While Bumblebee, Speedy, and Aqualad try to get the elevator working, Mas y Menos enter the hanger control room and try to figure out how to release the T-Sub from the magnetic crane. They observe the many buttons and switches that only confuse them as they try to understand what they need to do.
"Que boton podria ser?" asked Menos as he scratches his head.
Just then, Mas notices a red button on the control panel to his left with the words "release magnet" written above it.
"Alli, ese debe ser el boton que activa el iman." said Mas as he points at the button.
He proceeds to run over to the button and after pressing it, the magnet deactivates and releases the T-Sub, causing it to violently splash the docks as it makes contact with the water. Mas Y Menos then celebrate with a joyous high five.
As the twins prepare the T-Sub, the rest of the team is working on getting to the sub itself.
"Allow me." said Aqualad.
He walks over to the elevator doors and places his hands in between them. After opening the doors, the three titans' confusion ensues as they notice that the elevator itself isn't present. They proceed to look down, nothing, then they look up and see the elevator stuck all the way at the top of the shaft.
"Well, looks like we're gonna have to slide down, I guess." said an unenthusiastic Speedy.
"Then what're we waiting for? Let's go!" said Bumblebee.
She then flies down the elevator shaft. Aqualad trails behind her after jumping toward the cable. He then proceeds to slide to the bottom. As Aqualad and Bumblebee descend, Speedy sighs, uncomfortable with the fact that he will have to slide down hundreds of feet under a damaged elevator that could come down on him at any moment.
"Me and my big mouth." he said before jumping toward the cable.
As the three titans head down to the hanger, Slade and his robots wait for two Gordanians attaching a large bomb to the closed entrance door of the ops center. After activating the timer, the two aliens run away from the device as it counts down from ten seconds.
Meanwhile, Bumblebee flies out of the shaft and into the hanger while Aqualad and Speedy slide down behind her. As Aqualad jumps off, the bomb in the ops center detonates. The explosion detaches the door from the entrance and causes it to smack against the outside of the elevator doors. The impact causes the entire shaft to shake, thus making the elevator to fall.
With the Elevator heading downwards, the cable suddenly moves at a very fast speed while pulling an unsuspecting Speedy toward the top. The startled Aqualad notices this and starts to worry for his friend.
"Speedy!" he yells.
Speedy is pulled upwards at an increasing rate of acceleration, and not too long after, he sees the elevator itself coming down toward him. Not wanting to get slammed against an elevator, he quickly let's go of the cable and shoots an arrow immediately after. Pink goo forms along the bottom of the elevator after the arrow makes contact.
As the elevator continues to fall, the goo gets sucked in between the sides of the elevator and against the walls of the shaft which causes it to gradually slow down and eventually stop midfall. Speedy then shoots another arrow with rope attached to it and successfully targets the wall of the shaft. With the rope attached to his belt, he safely and efficiently descends to the bottom and encounters Bumblebee and Aqualad who smirk at their friend after witnessing his impressive skills.
"I gotta hand it to you, Speedy, you sure know how to save your own butt." said Aqualad.
"What can I say, I'm a natural." replied Speedy.
"Por aqui." said Mas y Menos.
The three titans turn to face the twins.
"El submarino esta listo para salir." said the twins.
Titans East manages to escape the tower, but they are yet to escape their enemies since the Gordanians have picked up the T-Subs signal using tracking technology onboard their ships. One of the ships commander contacts Slade to notify him of the situation.
"They are escaping via underwater submersible." said the commander to Slade.
"Unleash the aqua troops." ordered Slade.
The ships open their bottom hatches to release hundreds of Gordanian submarines and Slades new manta robots: deep ocean robots that are made to resemble manta rays while also being outfitted with high tech blasters and tracking technology. Each of the newly designed machines are paired with a standard Slade robot riding on top of each of them. They all splash straight into the ocean and ready themselves for the hunt while Titans East is alerted of the aqua forces' presence via sonar.
"Oh you've gotta be kidding me, they can go underwater?!" yelled a nervous and annoyed Speedy.
"Unleash the mines! Now!" ordered Bumblebee.
Three of the T-Subs hatches open and release many small sphere-shaped mines. The robots and Gordanians notice, and thanks to their quick evasion, only a few blow up. As the underwater battle unfolds, Slade observes using multiple drones that are displaying live footage of the chaos via cameras attached to his own manta robots.
"Be mindful of their tricks, Titans are nothing if not resourceful." said Slade while communicating with the Gordanians.
Back underwater, the robots and Gordanian subs open fire upon the T-Sub. Titans' East attempts to evade by going through shipwrecks and rock structures along the ocean floor. Many Gordanians and robots attempt to follow them through the same obstacles. Some are destroyed, yet hundreds still remain, driven to take down the titans.
Despite Titans Easts' quick thinking, the starboard side of the T-Sub suddenly gets blasted. The violent shaking aggressively knocks the young heroes around in their seats.
"'Bee, this isn't working! I'm calling for back up!" said Aqualad.
The titan proceeds to communicate with any nearby ocean animal to help assist him and his team. The distress call turns out to be a success as many different sharks, cephalopods, whales, dolphins, and miscellaneous fish attack the enemies pursuing the young heroes. Slade observes the footage and witnesses many of his robots and allies being ambushed by the entire marine ecosystem. He even lost signal to three of his cameras.
"Activate repulsion waves!" ordered Slade.
The manta robots do as commanded. With the repulsion waves fully online, the many sea creatures begin to startle, and eventually swim away.
"Well, it was worth a shot." said a disappointed Aqualad.
The titans begin to notice on their sonar that the remaining force is closing in on them from the left, the right, and behind.
"Alright, someone needs to come up with a plan, right now! Or we're all toast!" yelled and anxious Speedy.
All of the sudden, the T-Sub begins to power off and Bumblebees section separates from the remainder of the vehicle. Aqualad, Speedy, and Mas y Menos become startled and confused as they witness the front section of the sub swim away.
"'Bee! What are you doing?!" yelled Aqualad through his communicator.
"I'm leading them away. Just stay put and get ready to escape when they're gone." she replied.
"No! We stay together! We're coming back!" shouted Aqualad.
"That's not gonna happen. I programmed the rest of the sub to remain powered off for two minutes. By that time, they should be gone, so-"
"'Bee! We can't just leave you! Come back!" yelled Aqualad who was worried for his friends' safety.
"Senorita Bumblebee! Te necesitamos! Por favor, regresa!" shouted the panicky Mas y Menos.
"I'll be fine, guys. Just lay low and don't try to save me, that's an order!"
As Aqualad, Speedy, and Mas y Menos land on the ocean floor, they witness their fellow titan bravely lead the robots and aliens away from the group. Aqualad then begins to shout loudly for his friend to come back for them.
"'BEE! COME BACK! 'BEE! BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...!"
The two minutes have passed, the lights on the remainder of the T-Sub flicker and controls turn back on as the vehicle restarts power.
"Looks like the powers back." said Speedy.
"Hooray!" chanted Mas y Menos.
"Good, now let's rescue Bumblebee." said Aqualad eagerly.
He quickly takes control of the sub and attempts to go after his friend, however, Speedy brings the vehicle to a sudden stop.
"What're you doing?! We have to go after her!" asked a frustrated Aqualad.
"If we do, those things will capture us or who knows what. What we need to do is contact the other titans, that's our best chance for defeating these guys, and saving Bumblebee." explained Speedy.
"Oh really?! And what if we're too late?! What if we can't save her by then?!" Aqualad asked aggressively.
"We threw almost everything we had against those guys, and they still wouldn't let up! If we go back there, it's over, and Bumblebee's sacrifice would go in vain! Do you really think it'll play out any other way?!" Speedy retorted sternly.
Aqualad thought about Speedys' argument. He knew his friend had a point, there were far too many enemies to escape from and their other methods failed. Aqualad knew the team was out of options and when he thought about it, he knew that they would all end up getting captured if they went after Bumblebee. He then sighs unenthusiastically and retorts Speedys' response.
"Fine, we'll do it your way."
Speedy acknowledges his friend and activates the long-distance communicator in his cockpit.
"This is Titans' East sending an emergency distress signal to all other titans. Our tower has been attacked and our leader is M.I.A. Our current location is latitude -74.939, longitude 38.904, if anyone is receiving, please respond."
It remains quiet for two seconds until another titan responds.
"Titans East, this is Jinx! Kid Flash and I are currently under attack by unknown alien invaders! Do you have a fix on our location?!" she asked frantically amidst the chaotic sounds of blaster fire.
Speedy triangulates and locates Jinx's signal using the T-Subs' GPS. He then notices that her location is only 80 miles north of theirs.
"Yeah, we do. Don't worry, Jinx, we're heading to your location right now."
We transition an hour and a half later to Kid Flash and Jinx fighting Gordanians next to a river in a secluded forest area. Kid Flash runs super-fast to avoid the incoming blaster fire of Gordanian rifles while Jinx releases multiple hexe waves to ward off attackers. She turns around and notices five Gordanians pointing their rifles at her, but Kid flash strikes them, successfully knocking them out. He then suddenly stops right next to Jinx.
"You doin' alright?" asked Kid Flash.
"Yeah, thanks to you." said Jinx with a smile of gratitude.
Their moment is interrupted when they notice eight more rifle troops and two ships emerging from the trees. The two heroes prepare for battle, however, a mysterious new speedster zig zags in front of them and knocks out five Gordanian soldiers. As the speedster stops, it is revealed to be Mas y Menos. The twins high five to congratulate one another while Kid Flash and Jinx grin in relief.
Suddenly, they both notice each of the Gordanian ships getting hit with an arrow. The arrows release electrical currents that disable the ships and cause them to crash on the ground. This is then followed by a large stream of water that violently crashes into the three remaining ground troops and knocks them out. After noticing, Kid Flash and Jinx turn around and see Speedy and Aqualad standing behind them and next to the river.
"All right! bout' time you guys arrived." said a grateful Kid Flash.
"Yeah, we almost lost hope that you guys weren't gonna come." said Jinx.
"Don't celebrate yet, we still gotta get out of here." replied Aqualad.
"Were you guys able to contact the other titans?" asked Speedy.
"The Jump City team and Titans' South never responded. As for North and West..."
Kid Flash sighs in disappointment before explaining the bad news.
"...they got captured."
"Wait, so this is happening all over? I understand Slade having a vendetta, but why these aliens?" asked Aqualad.
"Slade?" asked a baffled Jinx.
"He attacked our tower along with those things. Fortunately, Bumblebee distracted them so we could escape." answered Speedy.
"And where is she now?" asked Kid Flash.
Aqualad looks down in disappointment.
"She's gone." he said with sadness.
"Wait, you mean she's..." asked Jinx.
"We don't know for sure. But if she's still out there, then we need all the help we can get to save her." said Speedy as he interrupted jinx.
"Then count us in, it's time we take the fight to them." said a motivated Kid Flash.
"Excellent, now let's head back to the T-Sub before any more of those things show up." said Aqualad.
After some time has passed, the group of six finally arrive at the T-Sub which sits at the point of the river that connects to the ocean.
"Here we are, now let's get outta here." said Speedy.
"Wait, I only see four seats. How are Jinx and I supposed to ride if there's only four seats?" asked a confused Kid Flash.
"That's easy, I'll swim alongside, and the twins will have to share a section." answered Aqualad.
Mas y Menos become wide eyed after hearing what Aqualad just said, they quickly glance at each other and then look down with frustration after knowing that they will both have to endure being cramped for a potentially long trip.
"So, where are we going anyway?" asked Jinx.
"First, Titans South Tower in Mexico, and if they've been captured, then we head to Jump City." answered Speedy.
"But what if they're captured too?" she asked again.
Speedy ponders for a moment before answering.
"Then I guess it's just us." replied Speedy.
"What about the Justice League?" asked Kid Flash.
"Depends on if they're fighting some universe ending threat or not. But who knows, we might get lucky." answered Aqualad.
"Cuidado!" shouted Mas y Menos.
Everyone turns to where the twins are pointing and notice dozens of Gordanian ships flying toward them. The young heroes then notice one of the ships opening fire upon them.
"Take cover!" commanded Speedy.
Everyone ducks away just before the blasters hit the T-Sub and cause it to explode. They all lay on the ground for a couple of seconds, surrounded by falling burning debris before standing back up to face their enemies. As the ships open their hatches, many Gordanians and Slade robots jump out of the ships to face the titans. After releasing all of its personnel, Slade and his four bodyguard robots jump out of the ship to join the combined robot and alien force.
"Titans! Go!" shouted Speedy.
The battle begins as the six heroes charge toward the enemy force. Chaos unfolds as blaster fire and explosions erupt all around the titans as they throw everything they have. Slade's bodyguards attempt to strike the heroes, but Kid Flash and Mas y Menos notice the four deadly robots and attack all of them in quick succession thanks to their super speed. As the robots stand back up to continue the fight, the two speedsters turn their attention to the other troops and proceed to attack them.
Meanwhile, Aqualad and jinx step in to face the bodyguards. Aqualad takes water from the river and forms it into liquid spheres while Jinx unleashes hex waves against the robots. The robots evade the incoming projectiles thanks to their enhanced acrobatic maneuvers.
Once the machines get close enough, they engage the two heroes in melee combat. Aqualad and Jinx continuously dodge and block the incoming strikes. They also try to counter the robots with kicks and punches, but considering the machines quick reflexes, they deflect each of the titans' attacks.
Aqualad and Jinx then create distance between themselves and the robots. They both access the situation as their four deadly opponents slowly walk towards them while tightly gripping their staffs, preparing to deliver a forceful attack. All of the sudden, the robots activate their camouflage abilities, turning almost perfectly invisible.
"Careful, they've gone invisible!" warned Aqualad.
"Not for long they haven't!" said Jinx.
She takes a few seconds to prepare a spell before circling herself with a wave of bad luck. The wave itself causes the robots to temporarily malfunction and their camouflage abilities to deactivate. Now that the robots are vulnerable to attack, Jinx looks around for opportunities to destroy them.
She then notices a large dead log laying at the edge of the river and uses her powers to lift it. As she holds the log in midair, she then uses her powers to divide the log into dozens of sharp wooden spears and throws them toward the robots. As the bodyguards gradually regain functionality, they notice the sharply pointed objects heading towards them.
They attempt to block the wooden spears by rapidly spinning their electric staffs, however, due to the robots still attempting to regain control of their systems and the rapid speed of the wooden spears flying in midair, they are all struck by the sharp objects. One robot has a spear lodged in its left leg, another is hit on its right arm, causing it to be struck clean off, a third has one stuck in its lower torso and another in its right leg, and the final has three lodged different places. The fourth robot has a spear stuck in its face, a second in its chest and a third in its torso, causing it to malfunction and deactivate permanently.
"Huh... nice move." said Aqualad.
"Don't thank me yet." said Jinx.
Aqualad inspects the robots and notices that three of the four effortlessly yank out the wooden spears lodged inside them and still retain functionality. Driven to incapacitate the titans, the three robots charge toward Aqualad and Jinx in an attempt to finish the job. Once everyone has resumed combat, the two young heroes continually defend themselves against the bodyguards strikes.
While everyone else is preoccupied, Speedy fires his arrows in quick succession at the attacking Slade robots and Gordanians all the while evading blaster fire. His arrows explode and take down many enemies. Some hostiles would charge toward him and attempt to engage in hand-to-hand combat; however, the titan quickly takes them down with exceptional martial arts skills.
After dealing with the ground troops, he notices three Gordanians riding air speeders and flying toward him. They fire their blasters at Speedy, but he swiftly runs behind a stump of a fallen burning tree to take cover. Once the three Gordanians zoom past him, Speedy loads his quiver with three heatseeking arrows and quickly releases them.
After the three aliens turn around, they immediately notice the arrows and try to evade them. However, due to the tracking technology built into the arrows, the speeders are immediately blown up and the three riders all fall to the ground.
As the fighting continues, Kid Flash and Mas y Menos use their super speed to form tornadoes. Their artificial twisters grab every enemy surrounding them before launching over a dozen hostiles far away from the battlefield. The two speedsters then break out of twister formation and proceed to charge toward the remaining attackers within the forest.
Meanwhile, twelve robots form up behind Slade and point grenade launchers upward and toward Kid Flash and Mas y Menos. They each fire one cannister from each of their individual weapons. Once the cannisters make contact with the ground, they all release a mysterious blue gas that rapidly spreads throughout the wooded area and surrounds the two speedy titans.
After inhaling the gas, Kid Flash and Mas y Menos begin to cough violently. They then start to gradually slow down as they're unable to maintain their quick speeds, causing them to lose control of their movement and aggressively crash into forest vegetation.
While fending off Slade's advanced bodyguards, Jinx catches a glimpse of robots and aliens running over to the unconscious speedsters. She quickly panics for her friends and attempts to run over and save them. However, one of the bodyguards catches Jinx off guard and launches a silver sphere like object towards her. The object quickly opens to reveal a blue electrified net that is flying towards the heroine. The net then traps Jinx and immediately electrocutes her, successfully knocking her out.
Two of the bodyguards look over the unconscious teenager before turning their attention to Aqualad. The titan of the oceans continues to defend himself against the two robots attacking him, even though his exhaustion causes him to hang by a thread. He then gets kicked hard in the left side of his chest and is knocked toward the unconscious Jinx.
As he tries to make through the pain, his jaw drops as he catches a glimpse of his ally lying on the ground with no signs of life except for some faint breathing. He then turns his attention to the two robots that took her down and stares at them, fearful of what they could do to him. One of the robots then lifts its electric staff and strikes Aqualad in the chest. The titan screams in agony as the electric current floods his body before collapsing and being rendered unconscious.
Meanwhile, Speedy continues to rapidly fire arrows at the incoming enemies. Explosions and fire surround him as he persistently holds his ground. After successfully fending off a large wave of enemies, the titan turns to his left and loads his bow with five arrows at once after hearing another wave march towards him. He intensely stares at the large force of Gordanians, robots, and spaceships and notices that the hostiles have readied their weapons and are ready to fire at the brave titan. Speedy then notices Slade in front of the group and aims his arrows directly at his face.
"Stubborn to the end, Speedy. You truly are a Teen Titan." remarked Slade.
"What can I say, I've always been a tough nut to crack, Slade." said Speedy.
"It's a shame your friends aren't so lucky." said Slade while pointing behind Speedy.
Speedy becomes confused and turns around to notice all of his unconscious friends being dragged and carried by miscellaneous enemies. He feels a great deal of horror and shock as the titans are all thrown towards him. He then looks away and witnesses more Gordanians and robots marching towards him with their blaster pointed directly at him. The lone titan is now completely surrounded, and unsure of what to do.
"Almost every single titan has been taken down and captured, and you have nowhere left to run or hide. So, I will say again, we can either do this the easy way, or the hard way." said Slade diabolically.
Speedy looks around and studies the dozens of enemy troops and ships that surround him. He thinks about his odds of escape, but not before glancing back at his friends lying defenselessly on the ground. He realizes that there was no way to fight off or escape the combined robot and alien force, and even if he could, he wouldn't want to leave his friends behind. Speedy has made his decision, he slowly places his bow and arrows on the ground in front of him and raises his hands in the air to signify his surrender.
"Good choice." said Slade.
Some time has passed, the team of six are now fully conscious, in shackles, and have been escorted by Gordanians onto one of their prisoner ships. After the door to one of the cell blocks opens, the guards aggressively push them forward in order to keep them moving. The heroes move slowly through the distressing environment as they all keep their heads lowered in defeat and listen to the frightening screams of the alien prisoners that remain locked up.
The Gordanian guards suddenly grab them in order to halt their movements. The aliens then place large power restraining collars around their necks before releasing their handcuffs. As the titans rub their own wrists, the guards prepare to open their respective cells to place their new prisoners inside. Mas y Menos, Kid Flash, and Jinx are the first to enter their cell after being rudely shoved into it by a few of the guards.
"Even as a hero, I still get locked up." remarked Jinx.
Kid Flash lifts his boot and notices an unknown nasty looking dark green sludge underneath.
"Yeah, and they don't even clean their cells either." he said with disgust.
"Too be fair, Earth jails aren't any better." said Jinx.
It was now Speedy and Aqualads' turn to enter their cell. However, they were in for more of a surprise. As the cell door opened, they both saw a familiar face.
"Bumblebee!" shouted both of them in unison.
"Speedy, Aqualad?" she asked with confusion.
"Senorita Bumblebee?!" asked Mas y Menos as they take a peek from the other side.
"Mas y Menos?!" Bumblebee asked again with confusion.
Aqualad and Speedy are then forcefully shoved into the cell with Bumblebee.
"How did you guys get captured?! I thought I told all of you to avoid the enemies!" shouted Bumblebee with frustration.
Slade then walks in the room. He is accompanied by his three surviving bodyguards that all appear to be repaired after the intense battle with the titans.
"They certainly tried Bumblebee." said Slade.
As soon as the young heroes hear the spine-tingling voice of the evil mastermind, they all quickly turn to face him.
"Slade, whatever you're planning, just know that we will put a stop to it." affirmed Bumblebee.
"Oh, how I would love to see you try, especially since all of your friends will soon be Citadel property." replied Slade.
"What?" asked a confused and scared Bumblebee.
"They're abducting titans, 'Bee, all of 'em." said a sorrowful Aqualad.
"Yes, we certainly are. Now please, try to get comfortable, it's gonna be awhile until we reach the Vega System." said Slade sinisterly.
All of the sudden, the doors swiftly shut, trapping the titans in the cold, tight cells of the Gordanian ship. Meanwhile, Slade proceeds to walk out of the cell block with his three remaining bodyguards. The mastermind was as eager as could be. He knew that this could potentially be the end of the Teen Titans, and he couldn't wait to see it with his own eyes.
