Chapter 5: Temple's Conversation

As Percy's mind came back to him, he realised exactly what he had just done. (At least this was one of the times he remembered losing come of his control). He had showed more power than ever before and showed them how he could take out a giant with no problem. Well Orion wasn't the best example of a powerful giant. But still.

He could feel Mystique purring in his mind trying to draw him back to reality. As were his familiars.

He felt himself draw his bow and let arrows fly at the remaining monsters that were hiding not far from this fight.

But soon Percy's mind becomes clear and he turns to everyone. He was exhausted with all the power he had used and the fight. He really hadn't used that much power in ages.

His robotic eye was giving him the numbers of the injured Hunters and the fact they wouldn't survive much longer.

He also sees that Artemis and Thalia seemed to be more concerned about him at the moment.

"Your Hunters Ladies Artemis and Thalia are in serious need of medical attention", Percy rasps.

They jump and look around sure enough many of them were lying on the ground.

"Let me help", Percy murmurs to them.

They look at him confused.

Percy moves his hands and water flows from the horn on his hip and moves towards the Hunters and fire mixes with the water. And to everyone, but Bob's, amazement the combined use of water and fire flow over the Hunters.

Making the healthy Hunters go for their weapons thinking that Percy was going to hurt their sisters. But they quickly realise as the water and fire pulled around from their injured sisters, their sisters wounds were disappearing. A few remained but they didn't appear to be life threatening now.

Artemis and Thalia's eyes widen at the miracle that Percy had just preformed.

"Perce how?" Thalia asks him.

Percy just gives her a tired smile as his vision darkens.

He realised that he had just used more of his powers then he probably should have and now he was going to pay the price for it.

"I'm sorry", he rasps as his leg buckles and everything goes black…

Artemis and Thalia didn't know how to explain how the last hour and more to anyone. As not only was Percy Jackson was alive, but he also just took on a Giant and won! And the power he had shown couldn't even begin to be explained.

They try to go over to them but 'Bob' and that shape changing creature stops them. They glare at Bob but he doesn't budge. They watch as Percy draws his bow again and lets arrows fly and they all could hear the screeching of monsters being hit in the distance.

"How did he become so good at archery?" Thalia asks, "He was rubbish before!"

Percy suddenly turned to them and his eye seemed to be looking them ALL over and they were surprised when he spoke to them again in that raspy/gravelly voice.

"Your Hunters Ladies Artemis and Thalia are in serious need of medical attention", Percy rasps.

Artemis and Thalia's eyes widen when they take notice of just how many of their Sisters were on the ground with critical wounds. They couldn't believe they had missed that and they were ashamed at how they had just forgotten their sisters when Percy had revealed himself.

Suddenly Percy's voice interrupts them.

"Let me help", Percy murmurs to them.

Artemis and Thalia look at him confused. As there was nothing Percy could do to help them. Artemis was sure she was going to have to call her brother and in fact she would have done so if Percy's hands didn't start moving and water and fire flow from him towards her Hunters.

She went to get her knives' thinking Percy was hurting them. But then she saw the wounds on her Hunters closing and the scars were fading.

She watched amazed as wounds she would have normally called for her brothers aid for were fixed leaving only minor ones to be dealt with.

"How Perce?" Thalia asks looking at her cousin.

That's when they see Percy swaying on his feet and he had gone paler then he already had been.

"I'm sorry", he rasps.

And to their shock Percy's legs buckle under him and he falls hard onto the ground completely unconscious. As he hits the ground his weapons vanish off him at some unknown cause.

'Bob' jumps into action and was by his friend's side in seconds and so was the shape-changing creature. The other familiars were surrounding Percy and 'Bob' seeming to try and protect him.

"APOLLO!" Artemis yells out only after a few seconds of hesitation.

Apollo appears in a flash of golden light. As if sensing the urgency of the matter he looks around quickly to see what was going on and was shocked and horrified to see a battleground around them. But more horrifying was the unconscious body of Perseus Jackson in the arm of a strange man. Who just so happened to be trickling nectar into Percy's mouth.

"Is that…?" Apollo starts.

"Yes, and he just saved our lives. He is 'The Shadow of the Storm' Apollo", Artemis empathises 'The Shadow of the Storm' part.

Apollo's eyes widen more as puzzle pieces of the last 90 years since The Shadow appeared start to make sense. And his prophecy…of course! It could have only meant Percy Jackson! But how the hell was he alive?

"Apollo! He needs help!" Thalia exclaims looking near frantic looking at her unconscious cousin.

Apollo goes to move to aid Percy but the animals growl at him.

"Stand down", Bob snaps at the familiars, "He needs to help your Master!"

Suddenly the Shape-Changing creature growls at the normal animals and they bow their heads in submission and step back to allow them access.

Apollo, Artemis and Thalia rush to Percy's aid.

"He is alive. But he used up a lot of power and energy doing everything he did here", Bob tells them.

Apollo as he gets a closer look at Percy gasps seeing the robotic parts on him. Hearing about them was one thing. But seeing them was something completely different.

He goes to do a scan but the stranger holds his wrist.

"Whatever you read about his past injuries Healer God you don't repeat without Percy's say-so. Otherwise, we are going to have a problem. Do we understand each other?" Bob asks him.

Apollo frowns looking at the man. Didn't he know him from somewhere?

"I am a Doctor. Patient confidently is basically guarantee unless it is a parent who is asking", Apollo replies.

"That will do. For now,", Bob grumbles.

"Who are you?" Apollo asks.

"We don't have time for that Apollo! Just scan him!" Artemis snaps at him.

Apollo nods and waves his hands and his eyes widen at the list of past and present injuries that was written down for him. His injuries today compared to his past seemed like a mosquito bite compared to his past.

"I'll take him to my Temple now", Apollo tells them.

"Is he going to be alright?" Thalia asks worriedly.

"Oh I believe so from today's injuries", Apollo replies twisting his words a bit.

Artemis frowns at his choice of words. But decides not to comment on them at the moment.

"I am going to tell the Council about this", Artemis tells them.

"Fine. But don't have them come banging down my door before I say so!" Apollo replies in his 'doctor' voice.

"Deal", Artemis replies, "But I hope you wish me luck with Poseidon"

Apollo nods and goes to teleport them but Bob stops them.

"You take us with you. We DON'T leave Percy's side. Even for a second", Bob tells him sternly.

Apollo nods knowing that what he saw on his scan warranted Percy having people and animals that were familiar around him.

Before anyone else could comment Apollo had flashed away with Percy, Bob, Familiars and Creature.

"Now what sister?" Thalia asks looking tired.

"We see that our sisters are ok and then we can deal with the Council and the chaos all this is going to cause", Artemis replies.

Neither of them had any idea of how they were going to begin to explain all of this!...

Apollo's Temple

Apollo immediately teleported Percy to a bed and moves quickly to begin to heal his most recent injuries. As there was a limited amount, he could do about the poor heroes' old injuries. He didn't realise he had worked himself into a state until the stranger grabs his wrist and startles him.

"Calm down Sun God. Perseus is not going anywhere. And he is unlikely to die. Especially from the type of injury he just received. You scanned him and KNOW he has been through worse and survived. So, take a deep breath and centre yourself", Bob says to Apollo.

Apollo shakenly does what he says. It was true from what his scan picked up Percy HAD been through worse. His robotic parts were proof of that!

So, he calms himself and goes to do a manual look of Percy.

"Don't trust your scan?" Bob asks amused.
"Just like to double check", Apollo replies, "Think he'll mind?"

"Of course. But he'll live as long as I stood guard", Bob replies honestly, "And as long as I make sure his coat is back on when the others burst in here he'll live"

The Shape-Changing Creature growls seemingly in agreement and so do the wolves and the bird's tweet sharply.

"You know I don't normally allow animals in here", Apollo states trying to lighten the mood.
"Well this is basically a hospital so that is right. But these are special. Especially Mystique here", Bob replies nodding to the Shape-Changing animal who jumped transforming into an eagle and landing on the bed head to keep an 'eagle eyed' view.

"What is she?" Apollo asks, "I assume she is a she"

"She is and what she is, is best someone else tell you. As I don't have experience with them. So, I would be unfit to describe what she is", Bob replies, "But know she is just as intellect as you, myself and Percy"

Mystique snaps angrily at them with her beak likely telling them to 'not forget that'.

"Who are you?" Apollo asks him.

"I am Bob", Bob replies with a twitch of his lip.

"No, you're not", Apollo retorts.

"How would you know?" Bob asks rhetorically.

"God of Knowledge and Truth. People forget that about me", Apollo tells him, "Not a lot gets past me. People don't realise or remember those two domains offer a wide range of abilities in me. You were only telling the Half-Truth about who you are"

Bob chuckles, "Percy was right about you"

Apollo raises an eyebrow at him.
"Percy knows you are probably smarter then Athena. But Percy believes you enjoy flying under the radar and just let everyone underestimate you so when the time comes nobody would expect you to be as big of threat", Bob replies.

Apollo's eye twitches at that. That exactly is what he has been doing. But it is not like anyone pays attention to him anyway. And nobody even expects much impute from him and nobody really asks his opinion on something important.

"You know Percy WILL keep your secret and so will I. I have sworn to protect and serve Percy, Apollo. That means if he says I can't tell a secret I literally cannot", Bob tells him.

Apollo frowns, "Like a slave?"

Bob shrugs, "In some ways. But I choice this of my own freewill"

Apollo ponders that and he gets distracted when his fingers touch Percy's metal/robotic parts. He could see and feel where the metal was attached to the flesh, muscles, nerves and so much else. They were attached deep into Percy's central nervous system.

"These robotic system could be used to help Demigods and Legacies who are injured in the war when we can't save their limbs", Apollo mutters to himself.

Then Apollo sees metal fused to a large chuck of Percy's side.

"Why is this?" Apollo asks Bob, "He shouldn't have been able to survive this!"

"He was lucky. He survived long enough for certain Patrons to fix this to his side in order to protect the organs that had lost its protection", Bob explains.

Apollo nods having already known that 4 of Percy's ribs were gone and a bit of the lower lung. When his fingers got to the nasty cut on Percy's side, he was shocked when his fingers were coated in three tones of blood. Red, Gold and Silver.

"What the Hades?!" Apollo exclaims as he rushes to fix the gash.

"Yeah, his blood is crazy. Just like everything else is about his life", Bob tells him.

"What is he?"

"He is Perseus Achilles Jackson. Olympus's Champion and Guardian according to your prophecy", Bob tells him.

Apollo freezes as he was stitching up the wound and rubbing it with nectar to heal it, "He knows about the prophecy"

"Oh yes he does", Bob replies nonchalantly.

"How did he take it?" Apollo asks nervously.

"He knew that Fates weren't done messing with him yet. So, he didn't freak out as such. He just about expects this now of days", Bob replies.

Apollo frowns worriedly, "I can see he was…tortured"

Bob flinches, "I can neither confirm nor deny"

"How is his mind because of all this?" Apollo asks him.

"It is why he has me, Mystique and his familiars", Bob replies simply.

"Then you can rely on my silence of what has happened to him. As long as he gets the help he needs from you or me or someone he trusts. I'll even keep it from his soul remaining parent his Father Poseidon", Apollo promises, knowing Percy needed all the loyal support he could get.

That could be supportive but not smothering.

Bob coughs, "That is not exactly actuate"

"What does THAT mean?"
