After gaining their first stripe, the Neo-Super Sailor Senshi noticed they could handle the recoil of combined attacks. Therefore, they decided to turn battles into two vs. two.
"Electric Phoneix Strike!" Neo-Super Sailor Jupiter and Neo-Super Sailor Mars yelled in unison. They summoned a gigantic bird, breathing fire and scattering thunderbolts with each flap of its wings. While it is incredible to attack to witness, it was tough for Christen to work together with others. Yet, her being able to pull off these combination attacks? It was her natural, fighting nature that she enjoyed seeing how much more damage she could do!
"Furious Random Aqua Crescent Beam Barrage!" While Neo-Super Sailor Venus and Neo-Super Sailor Mercury created a needlessly long-named ability, it put out the flames. It tore at the terrifying avian, forcing it to disappear.
Mars and Jupiter took shelter behind a large rock from the shots. Also, these two might be the strongest of the Inner Senshi now, too. As Venus was known and likely the one who devised the attack. Since it perfectly matched her excitable personality. Likewise, Crystal wanted the battle to end quickly, as fighting was never her strong suit.
Mercury had learned how to generate a hyperspatial barrier recently! Usually calm and quiet, Emily and Trisha could not help but show some interest in how their combined powers would fair against Holly and Alexis!
"Rushing Blade Blaster Reflection!" Neo-Super Sailor Uranus and Neo-Super Sailor Neptune sent a powerful wave of Blade Blaster Bazooka shots toward Neo-Super Sailor Saturn and Neo-Super Sailor Pluto!
"Silent Garnet Barrier Shield!" Saturn and Pluto could protect themselves but didn't know how to fight against such a forceful double blow.
In this case, Neo-Queen Serenity knew how much these two were unsatisfied with what little attacks they had on hand. However, she had told them, "Defense is just as important as offense." Seeing as Chibiusa was already in her Princess form. She was practicing against Jewel and her generals.
Taking on five people simultaneously, including one of her half-sisters, made the bubblegum-haired princess nervous. Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon gulped hard as she saw a familiar spark in Sailor Universe's eyes: She refused to lose! That golden-eyed princess's "Senshi" fixed Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon with a similar stare!
"Freezing Spear Lighting Starlight Energy!" Sailor Universe commanded. Instantly, sparkling, light blue, sharp lightning bolts rained down haphazardly. Immediately freezing the area around wherever they landed and sending out a wave of energy where the ice had not reached!
Without power-ups, all Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon had was her Pink Moon Rod, and she thought, "Pink Sugar Heart Attack is not going to be able to deflect an attack that zigzags like that." Unable to see another way out of this, Chibiusa screamed, and her Odango covers lit up, sending out supersonic sound waves! This did not do anything to the attack itself. Yet, it hurt Sailor Universe and her Senshi's ears enough to stop them from concentrating. Sadly, a bolt landed near Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon, and she was encased in ice! Neo-Super Sailor Mars stepped forward to remedy the situation. Except she did not have to as the waves shattered the ice!
Everyone did have to duck to avoid being hit by the flying ice shards! We should stop this before someone gets skewered. Neo-Super Sailor Jupiter suggested. No one disagreed with her recommendation.
Later, in the Crystal Palace den, the girls sat by the fire with a hot meal after a warm shower to watch a musical film of Gracie's choice. Crystal, as usual, tinkered with her visor and minicomputer until the movie started.
"I wish I was deaf." Christen rubbed her ringing ears as she had been closest to the soundwaves.
"Sorry, Christen. I couldn't think of anything else." Chibiusa apologized.
"Why would you ever wish something like being deaf?!" Emily yelled angrily. Emily had a deaf friend from school. Therefore, she knew the challenges she faced.
"Better than being blind," Christen replied dryly, as she did not mean she genuinely wanted to go deaf.
"Whether you meant it or not doesn't matter. No one should wish misfortune upon themselves or others." Trisha preached.
The next day, the Crystal Palace was treated to a rare case. Somehow, overnight, Christen had gone deaf! She could not hear or speak correctly. Which some felt was a small blessing. Regardless, it was concerning she wished this, and it was granted!
