Chapter 111

Everleigh looked over at Steve who was slowly getting up to his feet. He tightened the shield on his arm with fierce determination. "I'm with you Cap, till the end." She said firmly knowing that this probably was going to be the last battle.

Steve stopped for a moment hearing a crackling sound coming from his communicator.

Everleigh's hand went up to her ear to hers hearing the same crackling noise. Her eyes widened when she heard the voice.

"Hey, Cap, can you read me?"

Steve looked around his brows furrowed together in worry. Was that really Sam did it really work, and everyone was back and alive and well?

"Cap, it's Sam. Can you hear me?"

Everleigh turned her head seeing a yellow portal forming behind Steve. "Ste…"

"On your left."

Steve looked behind him to see the portal appearing on the left. Three figures stepped through which were none other than Okoye, Shuri, and T'Challa. Steve looked at them sharing a look.

Sam zoomed in from above in his Falcon armor.

Steve's eyes widened as he noticed that there were a lot of portals opening around them.

"Well, I'll be damned," Everleigh said, letting out a soft, weak chuckle. This was a good sign that everyone was coming back that had died in the snap. Her heart broke knowing that Loki, as odd as he was and mistaken he was, was a good man and so much more than that. He was someone that Everleigh would want by her side fighting.

Suddenly Ant-Man emerged large from the rubble of the Avengers facility with Professor Hulk, Rhodey, and Rocket.

Everleigh squared her shoulders, her hands glowing blue waiting for the word from Steve. This was the end of the line for Thanos and his minions and no one of the Black Army would live past today.

"AVENGERS!" Steve shouted as he summoned Mjolnir into his hand. "–assemble."

Thor let out a loud battle cry along with T'Challa.

Everleigh launched herself into the air using her powers to fly through the air. She twirled through the air blasting a few of Thanos's army as she moved quickly. She knew that they had everything on the line. She knew that they needed to fight with everything that they had. Everleigh blasted one of the creatures that followed Thanos.

Clint rushed through the field of destruction. "Cap, what do you want me to do with this damn thing?"

"Get those stones as far away as possible!" Steve yelled over the com.

"No! We need to get them back where they came from." Bruce snapped knowing that they needed to right the timeline again.

"No way to get them back. Thanos destroyed the quantum tunnel." Tony said over the com.

"Hold on! That wasn't our only time machine."

The horn went off of the vehicle that Scott was talking about.

Steve went up to higher ground. "Anyone see an ugly, brown van up there?"

"Yes! But you're not gonna like where it's parked!" Valkyrie shouted flying high above head on her Pegasus.

"Scott, how long you need to get that thing working?" Tony questioned hoping that it wouldn't take too long to fix the problem.

"Maybe ten minutes." Scott said, hoping that he was right.

"Get it started. We'll get the stones to you." Steve ordered.

"We're on it, Cap." Hope said happily over the com.

"And try to be quick about it Scott. We'll try to buy you as much time as we can." Everleigh said as she launched herself over one of the bad guys before driving her elbow into their back knocking them forward.

"If I tell you what happens, it won't happen." Doctor Strange said, looking over at Tony.

"You better be right." Tony said, taking a breath concerned about the whole thing.

Everleigh blasted another as her eyes focused on seeing Clint rushing through the outriders, before finding himself surrounded. "Someone needs to get to Clint now."

Suddenly T'Challa jumped in his suit blasting away the others. "Clint! Give it to me."

Clint quickly handed over to T'Challa.

He turned towards the van and began to fight his way through the army.

Everleigh jumped over another outrider. Her eyes widened as she felt a burst of magic coming from none other than Wanda. She felt her heart clench in her chest. She knew that this wasn't a good sign that Wanda was now back and was dealing with the death of Vision not once but twice.

"I got it!" Peter shouted over the com.

Everleigh let out a breath knowing that it was a good sign that Peter now had it. "Peter, get a move on. We don't have time… we can't let them get their hands on it."

"You got it, Miss Leigh. Activate Instant Kill!"

Everleigh let out a soft chuckle, shaking her head lightly as she hoisted herself up into the air to avoid getting attacked by someone else. She had to admit that this needed to be done soon or they would be getting exhausted and not have enough energy to continue to fight on.

"Rain fire!" Thanos shouted.

"But sire, our troops!"

"Just do it!"

Everleigh jumped back as fire began to rain down upon them.

"Uh, is anyone else seeing this?" Pepper questioned over the coms rather worried about the water that was coming towards the battle field.

Everleigh turned her head seeing Dr. Strange using his magic to stop the water from flooding them out.

"I got this. I got this! Okay, I don't got this. Help! Somebody, help!" Peter called over the com scared as he tried to fight off the army.

"Hey, Queens, heads up." Steve said over the com knowing that the young teenager needed to be saved.

"Hang on. I got you, kid." Pepper said as she flew him away from the battle only to drop him down the Valkyrie.

"Hey! Nice to meet you– OH, MY GOD!"

Everleigh looked up seeing that the cannons were firing somewhere else other than them on the grounds below. She panted softly, wiping the sweat from her brow knowing that this was indeed something that she hadn't been expecting.

"What the hell is this?" Sam questioned as he looked up at the sky.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y., what are they firing at?" Tony questioned over the com hoping that everyone else could hear F.R.I.D.A.Y.

"Something just entered the upper atmosphere."

Everleigh let out a soft laugh seeing Carol flying through the ship destroying it and causing it to crash land into the lake. "Huh about time."

"Oh, yeah!" Rocket said as a smirk came across his furry face.

"Danvers, we need an assist here." Steve said, looking at Carol hoping that she would be able to give the assist that they needed badly.

"Scott, please tell us that you have the tunnel ready." Evereligh said over the com hoping that he had gotten the tunnel started up.

"I got it." Scott said over the coms happily.

Everleigh let out a breath, closing her eyes. That was indeed a good sign.
