Chapter10: The Pai Zuhq Academy
1 month before the S.C.P.T jailbreak
Jarrod knew something was wrong, it was a sudden and strong feeling. One moment he was helping cubs practice lion style, the next moment he fell to his knees, an intense feeling of dread washing over him.
He dismisses the cubs concern and moves to find Casey, meeting the man sooner than he thinks when both Casey and the blue jungle fury ranger, Theo, run past him in the hallway.
"You heard it right, what does it mean?" Theo asks Casey while they run
"I don't know" Casey replies, the two men so shaken by the green master's message that they didn't even notice Jarrod.
Jarrod can't even call out for them as the sense of dread washes over him again. His skin becomes cold as he collapses on the ground, heavy breaths leaving his body.
Outside the temple, the sky rips open, and a pocket sized book flies out and travels through the pai Zhuq academy. It knocks students over, breaks priceless artifacts, and keeps saying one word as it goes. "RINSHI! RINSHI! RINSHI!" And in the golden trail the book leaves, hoping monsters appear.
The book reaches Jarrod, and the man is forced into his black lion warrior armor. With a flash of golden light, a massive hole is made in the side of the temple. Everyone rushes to the source of the destruction, and the older students freeze in place. Some saw the armor in person in the past, others only heard stories, but everyone knew what was standing Infront of them.
Jarrod, clad in the phantom beast armor he wore when he was possessed by Dai Shi, stands before the students. The hopping monsters advance down the hallway, and one of the students screams "RINSHI!".
The younger students run, and the older ones prepare for a fight, but the Rinshi are destroyed by a blast of golden energy. Jarrod looks to the students, and sits down on the floor, going into a meditation pose as he does.
"Get…Casey…before I lose…what little sense I have left"

Present day
"And that's what you see before you" Casey says, the Zolda, Arjet, Dialect and Kyle are looking at a man I'm gold and black armor wrapped in chains. Three older men and one woman guarding him. Casey looks at the five and continues.
"Every couple of days he summons Rinshi, those we can deal with. We were caught by surprise however when this morning, several more advanced Rinshi beast appeared with them"
Arjet holds her head processing the whole situation. "A month ago, but I only appeared a few hours ago…how?"
As she's thinking, Zolda walks to the armored man and sticks his hand out. Pulling the hand back like he did with the Goldar monster, but when he opens his hand, it's empty.
"Well that didn't work", Zolda sighs. The man then turns to the pai Zhuq master. "I only have one example for this, but I think we need to defeat him in his giant form to extract the book".
Master Casey rubs his chin, the room remaining silent for a minute, then is broken when he finally speaks. "Alright, if we're doing this, I'll need to call for help."

Inside Jarrods mind
"You are really persistent" Jarrod says, sweat beading down his face.
He is sitting in a black void, in front of him is Dai Shi, the eight headed golden dragon. The two have been wrestling for days on end, everytime the dragon gets the upper hand, the body outside spawns Rinshi.
"Give up Jarrod, I only get stronger with time" Dai Shi growls out. Heavy breaths leave the dragon's heads , he's just as exhausted as Jarrod.

Back in the temple:
"Somebody stop him!"
"He's going to the garage"
"We have a garage!?"
Various students are screaming out, chasing Thruster.
A few moments ago, while the others were in the Dai Shi holding cell, the Morpher on Thrusters' waist pulled the machine through the temple.
Thruster was powerless to stop his unwanted traveling, just screaming as the Morpher dragged him along.
When Casey and the others reach the garage, hearing of Thruster's rampage, they see the place completely in shambles. Some of the cubs are covered in oil and paint, while Thruster stands in the center, completely rebuilt.
"What…happened here?" Casey asks, smiling a bit, as the whole situation was a bit amusing.
"H-He ate the strike rider!"
"And the claw cannon!" Two of the other cubs complain.
Casey's smile drops a bit, but he still keeps his relaxed attitude. "I mean…we don't really use them anymore, but that still sucks"
"I'm sorry! I don't know why this happened" Thruster bows down to Casey. The pai Zhuq master just laughs it off and leads the group to their rooms.
…
Two days later:
"So why are we doing this?" Zolda asks, looking at Arjet. The two are standing across from each other on a training mat.
"I need to know…why it chose you"
Arjet charges Zolda, jumping and attempting a kick to his head. The man blocks with both arms, he then reaches out and grabs Arjet's collar, flipping the woman onto the ground
Arjet then wraps her legs around Zolda and pushes herself up, flipping both of them. Arjet is now on top of Zolda, the woman delivering hit after hit, Zolda doing nothing but blocking.
"I give up" he says plainly
The hits stop, and Arjet looks at the man below her, tears forming in her eyes. "I beat you"
"Yeah you did" Zolda monotones
"I'm better than you"
"Without question, yeah"
"So…WHY!?" Arjet punches the ground next to Zolda's head, the man's eyes widening.
"Why am I not the red ranger" the tears are now falling onto Zolda, the Ranger not sure what to do. Arjet gets up and walks off, wiping her face.
Zolda turns to the other training mat, and sees Toxala hitting the ground. The green woman has been fighting Casey, demanding rematch after rematch, And everytime she falls flat on her face.
"Strength isn't everything you know," Casey explains, wiping his face with a towel. Toxala just groans, picking herself up and limping to the infirmary.
The Pai Zuhq master walks to Zolda, but who is still on the ground, "having trouble?"
"If what Arjet told us is true, then I can only assume there are a bunch of books that are turning innocent people into monsters, and these things are the only way to stop them." He rubs the Morpher, the cold metal still feeling alien to him.
"Probably yeah"
"I didn't ask for this"
"Will you not help?"
"I mean yeah I will, I'm not strong enough to ignore people in trouble."
Casey laughs and picks the man up, "you have a very odd view on life". Casey gestures to the infirmary, and Zolda walks off.
…
Three more days pass and the preparations are complete, Jarrod stands in an empty field, still chained up. Around him are the three royal rangers and Arjet, as well Casey and the other four jungle fury rangers.
"Sorry for calling you two on such short notice" Casey says while he stretches his legs.
"Don't apologize" says a man I'm white, this was Dominic Hargan, the jungle fury rhino ranger.
"I needed to get out of the shop anyway, we were dealing with a…very bad rat problem." Man in purple says, shuddering as he does. This was RJ, the wolf ranger.
"I left for two days and this happens" signs Lily chilman, woman in yellow. She is the jungle fury yellow ranger.
A woman in green approaches Jarrod, touching his face while speaking. "Jarrod"
Two voices come out of the man, one that sounds overjoyed, and the other sounds of pure rage. "Camille!!"
The woman jumps abit, but keeps speaking "we can free you Jarrod, but you need to trust us" the woman swallows before continuing "you need give Dai Shi control so we separate him from you"
…
In Jarrods mind:
"Hahaha, are they fools!? The moment I get control I'll flee, they'll never catch me"
Jarrod let's out a light chuckle before letting out a smug smile. "There gonna destroy you dude"

Back outside:
A wave of golden and black energy knocks Camille back, the woman dawning her green chameleon armor to protect herself.
Dai Shi breaks from his chains and flies up, his intention to flee the area, but he's stopped by a Field of green energy.
Dai Shi crashes into the ground, jumping up and glaring at the group. "What have you done?"
"One of the skills the masters taught me, a dome of energy few can escape." Arjet explains with a smug grin.
Dai Shi screams, and two small books appear above him. "RINSHI, FIVE POISON FINGERS" hundreds of Rinshi and five Rinshi beasts appear out of thin air.
You're giving Jarrods body back!" Casey shouts as he and two others pull out sunglasses, putting them on and pressing a button on the right rim.
The others see this and move accordingly, Dominic summoning a large gauntlet/claw Morpher. While RJ clasps a purple wolf like Morpher on his wrist.
"Jungle Beast, Spirit Unleashed!"
The five Pai Zuhq masters morph into rangers, charging at the army in front of them.
The three royal rangers look at the ensuing battle and place thier books in their respective slots. "POWER RANGERS: ZEO, TURBO, OPERATION OVERDRIVE"
all three eyes glow the color of their blades, and unlike before, words are forced out of their mouths. "Royal arms!"
Flashes of light fill the area, and the three join the jungle fury rangers.
