A malfunctioning Tardis forces the Doctor to land on a colony ship to make repairs. He finds it's heading for a world in dangerous E-space, and its leader refuses to give up the quest.

After a passionate row Doctor left Rose stranded in the Tardis because it was too dangerous for her out in the world they had landed in. Just for a couple of hours, Rose would be alright, wouldn't she? Doctor and Jack only needed to find some spare parts for the Tardis. Little did Doctor know that he had opened the unhealed wounds of Rose's past.

The 6th Doctor returns something unjustly taken from an old friend.

River is on the command ship by the time she comes around. There are bars in the place where a wall should be and for a moment she thinks she might be back in Stormcage when she remembers she hasn't been a prisoner there for decades. The room is quite similar, however; empty and cold save for the lumpy mattress she's laying on.

A relationship between a now (technically) elderly human woman and the manipulative Time Lord best friend who sort of ruined her life though- that's bound to have a rough start.

Rose has an adverse reaction to alien nature. It's only natural that the Doctor offers to help.
