Worried whispers filled her mind before she could even open her eyes. Part of her mind recognized the voices, but a voice inside told her it wasn't real. Her mind had played tricks on her before.

Selene looked up to find Michael standing in her office. Michael had traded his casual outfit for a fancy looking one. He looked more handsome than he already was, making her heart beating faster.

Selene noticed the charging lycan and finished her opponent off quickly. She too ran towards Michael with her silver knife at the ready. Just before he could lock Michael in his jaws, Selene planted the knife in his brains.
