This story follows Jenny Flint, Madame Vastra, and Strax as they are brought to 2012 London to aid the Doctor in hunting down what appears to be a rogue silurian. While they marvel at the wonders of the modern world, they also struggle with the resurgence of Vastra's past, something she tried to put behind her… Can they catch this rogue silurian, or is modern London Out of Time?

After the events of Human Nature and Family of Blood, the Doctor takes Martha to a fancy hotel to relax and recover. But not everything is as it seems at this place. An ominous-sounding "Taskmaster", strange spices, and a spunky young staff-member by the name of "Oswald Oswin" may hold the answer to the mystery that surrounds this hotel. He experiences River's fear of water in reverse, which is probably for the best.

"We want you to come with," Clara smiled winningly. The too bright smile she used when she lied.

"I blame you for this," River muses, more sleepy than angry. "Naturally," the Doctor agrees easily, even though this regeneration is not usually so agreeable. It's hard to muster his Scottish contrariness when River's curls are tickling his face. Bloody menace, those curls, and he wouldn't have it any other way. "And what have I done this time?" Takes place after "Listen".

"We need to tell Brian to stop watering the plants, Doctor."

The best way to describe this story would be this: Picture all-star superman, in terms of plot (with variations) and add in the doctor. The rest you'll have to read for yourself. A/U. Rated T to be safe.
