The Doctor and Clara plummet into the atmosphere of an Earth like planet and find themselves fighting a creature from the depths that threatens the lives of the local population and possibly their own. Will the doctor lose Clara again? What lengths will he go to protect her?

I just thought the regeneration itself was too abrupt. 11 deserves a better sendoff, and 12 deserves a better intro than looking like he's about to attack Clara. And we deserved to see the regeneration itself, so here's my slightly altered version of the regeneration scene -

The Doctor made a mistake when he left Rose standing on that beach. A mistake that drove a sliver of ice into his hearts, changing him. He knew what those changes foretold. The Doctor decides to host UNIT's Christmas party in the TARDIS against Kate's wishes. He then takes her where she misses spending Christmas. Originally a birthday present for a friend of mine.

AU - 11/Rose reunion - Captured by the Daleks in her universe, Rose finds herself in terrible danger as the Bad Wolf is reawakened within her. The Tardis, sensing immense danger, pulls the blonde back into her old universe and into the Tardis, leading to a reunion with the Doctor. However when the Daleks try pulling Rose back, they only have 24 hours to find a way to stop it.
