Deffry Vale High School is haunted by strange, bat-like creatures at night. When the Doctor investigates, he finds an old friend, Sarah Jane Smith, already working undercover. The Krillitanes are trying to crack the 'God-Maker', a paradigm to give them the ultimate power. To become masters of time and space. It's going to be a school reunion like no other.

"Why did she have to come back? I was prepared to live my life without her when I sent her away with her family to keep her safe but she came back, just like she always did when I sent her away or when we got separated."

"Doctor, who's that woman under the TARDIS?" Clara asked. "Oh her, well, she, " the Doctor scratched his head, finding nouns and appropriate adjectives. How do you describe River to a normal person anyway? "She's a TARDIS troll. " I keep coming up with these scenarios on how Clara would meet River. Ever wonder what would happen then?

I wanted to give Amy and Rory a bit more of a heroic sendoff, and put more of the emphasis on emotion, rather than on trying to figure out why the Doctor couldn't just go back to 1938 and get them.

Song-fic to Annie Lennox's "Into the West" from the final "Lord of the Rings" movie. The last Doctor passes into the ether realm, the afterlife, and is reunited with the one that he always considered his angel. This fic completely ignores Rose's return in season 4, but the rest of the show does happen.
