Now let's get into the story.

Previously on The Darkened Sun we saw Minato's and Kushina's triplets: Naruto, Mito, and Mema being born. The masked man threatens Naruto and unleashes the Kyuubi on Konoha. Along Gamabunta's brawl with the Bijuu, and Hiruzen stopping Minato from killing himself from using the reaper death seal like in cannon. Along with the 9 Tailed fox's chakra being sealed in Mito, and Mema, while the Soul was Sealed in Naruto.

Now without further delay let's get into the Story.

Time skip Next Day:

After the Night of the Kyuubi's rampage the 4th Hokage called an emergency meeting with the civilian and shinobi council along with the elders Danzo, Homura, and Koharu. Minato looked around the room in which many people looked: ragged, tired, and morally drained. After having looked at everyone he raised his hand and spoke "thank you all for taking time to show up to this meeting. Now I would like Shikaku to give me a shinobi status, and a damage report. Then Fugaku will give me the civilian, and village damage report.". After ending his speech Shikaku took a minute to think before starting "Lord 4th we have the Chunin, and Genin working on reducing the trapped Civilians. Along with clearing the rubble and directing the Civilians to safe locations. While the Jonin are all setting up tents and camp spots for the recently made homeless and displaced people to meet at.". Sighing to collect his thoughts Fugaku finally spoke up after noticing Shikaku's nod to start "Hokage-Sama about a 5th of the village has been destroyed or rendered uninhabitable from the Kyuubi's Attacks. Thanks to your quick reaction and timely relocation of the Bijuu's rampage to a remote forest. However, those portions of the village damaged include: the village's main market, along with the shinobi academy, and a decent chunk of the red-light district. Finally, about 2 thousand Civilians died and about 3 thousand were injured. Along with an estimated 2500 civilians still not found as of now.". Fugaku sighed with a sad tone at the amount of death. Minato, hearing this, decided to speak up "Now how will we…", however he was cut off by a cough from Danzo, an elder member within the council and former teammate of the former Hokage Hiruzin Sarutobi. Danzo quickly filling the open slot started "what has appended to the Kyuubi, and how was it released from the Jinchuuriki". Minato, hearing this, said "First of all you will wait your turn and speak to me with the respect I deserve as the Hokage am i clear." letting out a tiny bit of killer intent to make his point. Danzo pauses a moment before continuing deciding to placate the man "I'm sorry Hokage-Sama, for interrupting you but it is of the utmost importance to know what happened to the strongest of the Bijuu." All the while thinking if it was sealed in a new container, he would get his hands on it no matter what. Minato sighing in defeat as he heard the council screaming and arguing for the answers to the questions. Minato pausing as he saw both the Inuzuka, Nara, and Yamanaka clan heads all looked towards him waiting patiently. however, anyone could see the irritation in the Inuzuka clan heads eyes at the loud arguing. When all of a sudden Minato yelled while slamming his hands down on the desk sending cracks along its surface "Everyone shut up and sit down so I can explain the situation.". Everyone quickly found their seats and quieted down to hear what happened to the demon that attacked their village. Finally, after 5 minutes of shuffling around and finding their seats, everyone sat looking towards their Hokage. Seeing everyone seated and waiting he spoke up making a decision he would regret in his future "the Kyuubi's chakra was split between my daughter Mito and son Mema and the soul was put in my son Naruto…" continuing with why the attack happened he spoke "the reason the Kyuubi appeared was because when my wife Kushina Uzumaki was giving birth to the final of the three triplets a masked man attacked us killing the Nurses and the Third Hokage's wife Biwako. After which he snatched one of my children and strapped explosive tags to its blanket. I was forced to save my children and in doing so the masked man took Kushina and unsealed the 9 Tails and somehow managed to get it to attack the village.". The entire civilian council broke out saying how they needed to kill Naruto the Kyuubi in human skin. However, the clan heads sat there with the elders silently while they thought about how to either get him into their clan or align with their clan in the shinobi council's case. while the elders thought on their own to make them their weapon. However, contrary to how people think who thought Danzo wondered how Naruto's life would go and how he would be treated. Minato, having had enough of the disruption, decided to yell "shut up and sit down now". Everyone quickly followed as their leader commanded. Now we will make an announcement of this in three months. During these three months no will speak upon this on the threat of death, also during this time we will focus on the rebuilding and projection of power. Now in this first month every ninja, tradesmen, and anyone with a useful skill will be getting our village in a stable state. During the following months all higher leveled Chunin and all Jonin will be on mission duty with as little rest as possible to give a show of strength. To stop any plans of invasion in their tracks from the other villages. While the Anbu will watch borders and will be patrolling a lot more tightly. Finally, the Genin will continue to work on the rebuilding. Now I will allow questions.". sighing after his long speech of the future plans of the village. Nobody even dared speak up for a few minutes until Fugaku spoke up "what would you have the Uchiha police force do to Hokage-Sama?". Minato spoke immediately having already thought of this "Everyone of your officer's will be taking exams to find their ranking inside the Konoha Ninja forces. While being assigned tasks based on their ranking." Fugaku nodded along with Shikaku at the sound reasoning. Having sat for a while Minato spoke "okay if no one has any questions then i will bring this meeting to a close. Also, if I hear a single word about the Jinchuuriki names being leaked i will kill all of you beside it will be announced in 3 months". Hearing this everyone got up and started to walk out, while Minato flashed home.

Time skip 3 Months:

Over the course of these three months, they had cleared all of the rubble left from the Kyuubi's rampage. They also manage to rebuild most of the infrastructure and buildings. All except the damage to the red-light district was rebuilt as they considered it an unneeded place as it was mostly filled with Kohona's more improper population. They also managed to keep the other villages from trying anything as planned. Along with the manpower, help sent from the Kazekage helped boost their rebuilding speed because of the earth ninjutsu users that were a part of the group. Minato walked out onto a balcony on the side of the Hokage tower overlooking the newly refurbished main road of the village. Seeing almost all of the villages' people ranging from Shinobi on the roofs and sides of buildings and civilians crowded around in the road. Slightly smiling at his village's people, he raised his hand and silenced the crowd, before speaking "Now I thank you all for time and consideration for coming. I would like to tell you something now that we have brought our lives from ruin and back into the light.". Pausing as he heard people yelling and hollering in cheers and happiness. Deciding to continue he spoke up "now i have to explain how the Kyuubi was defeated…" he then explained the masked man's attack and how the Beast was unleashed. Then explaining what happened during the sealing.". He then saw as the people began to murmur and quietly speaking about what they just heard. Minato waited until hearing the people cheering for the two so-called saviors of Kohona. Never noticing how they spoke about two instead of three.

But I thought you deserved a reason, but I will be attempting to get a 2nd chapter released this week at some point to make up for this.
