Chapter 5
Sora POV
Back to school after the long holiday. I survive through another one of Axel holiday parties and I got to spend New Years with Riku cuddling, watching movies and playing games. Just being around Riku made me feel safe, something Roxas doesn't make me feel anymore when he is around Axel.
It was before Axel really. Before we moved, he hung around those guys that dealt in drugs, but I never saw him use them; my mom kept saying that as soon as boys turned teens, they started changing. I didn't believe it, but now I am starting to see...
Looking over at Axel and Roxas by his locker kissing before class started. Why did you have to choose him though?
Riku waved hand in front of my face "Earth to Sora".

Riku walked me to class "So your birthday this weekend. I know Axel has that party for Roxas . What did you want to do?".

"Party to her means just her, dad and Roxas but I doubt he will be there" I roll my eyes knowing full well he had plans.

"Why else do you think people go there and respect him? I'm sure Roxas has seen it already. My brother and Zack can handle themselves, but others tend to stay out of the way."
"Great another reason to hate high school" I sulk my head cutely.

"Because I signed the divorce papers. Give these to her" Kadaj handing them over "Lose my number as well I don't want to recieve contact from you two again".

"Good riddance than" Cloud shouted to look at Riku looking at his hand "Nice punch by the way".
Riku looked at Cloud while rubbing his hand "I got plenty of good punches back than. Of coarse you wouldn't know since you weren't around" he turns to go back in the house.
"Seriously" Cloud sigh to follow back inside.
"You can't blame him Cloud you did leave him" I said following behind him.
Riku got some ice to put on his hand when Fran came down.
"What happen?" Fran said waking up still.
Cloud gave her the documents "Dad just starting trouble is all. Should be the last of him".
Fran took the papers to check that he signed them and than looked at Riku "How is your hand sweetie" .
"It's fine" Riku sitting on the couch to rub his head "Not broken this time".
"This time? How many times has it been?" Cloud asked sitting on the arm of the couch.
I was actually curious to sit next to Riku.
"Five times...maybe more" Riku said "He would always get me so mad I couldn't concentrate and I miss and hit something hard like the tv or something".

Cloud looked at Riku to move on the couch next to him "I never meant to leave Riku. I had to prove to Zack that I was serious about our relationship and career. If dad wasn't such a dick I could of stayed".

And on top of it Axel ruined the one person I had left in my life. I lost Sora and I don't want to lose him again. The doctors keep saying to talk to him and he will wake up but I have yet to see any signs of that".
Cloud more arms around Riku to hold onto him tight to let Riku cry. Fran move to get into the hug. "He will wake up Riku he is healing from everything that happen to him. And I plan on staying until everything gets back to normal again I promise".

Roxas POV
Its been a few days without Axel he was busy setting up for my party. At school he wasn't around where I normally saw him. There was times I wanted to sneak over at the high school to see what he was really doing. But I needed to catch up on school work and clean my room.

"I use to beat him at Guitar Hero. You got to catch him on the game he hasn't played in awhile" I set that up to all sudden just wanting to see how good my brother got.
Sora came back to notice me with the guitar in hand "Oh so you want me to beat you too now".

Riku sat on the bed Indian style to drink some water to watch us prepare "Good luck to you both".

Axel was silent for a bit "I am coming over" he ended the call before I could protest.
I shut my computer off and lights off to notice the house was finally dark with Sora asleep with Riku, parents were sound asleep as well. I went down to the kitchen to grab water from fridge to see a text on my phone about him being here.

Sora nodded to blow candles out together as the others cheered
"I will have my cake with coffee who is in?" dad said as Axel and mom raise hand to agree.
Riku had already cereal in bowls to get Sora to the couch to sit down with him.

Fuu was quiet as she drank to listen to everyone catching up.
"By the way Roxas who is this guy. Just drags us all here" Hayner asked

Cloud rest against my door way to fold arms "Sora likes video games right? There is one of those cons coming up in Twilight Town. Take him there. Matter of fact my birthday present to you. Just got to make a few calls" he got his phone out.
"Wait wait wait" I put my finger up to grab my phone and text Sora if he was busy and would like to go to whatever con it was and he agree to right away excited "Okay he wants to go. How many days is it?".
"I believe it is five days. I will be your ride there and I will give you ride back obviously. Plus gives me excuse to hang out with Zack more" Cloud starts texing away to walk away from my room.
I rest back in my chair to move hands on face to blush deeply.

After my brother got everything settle for the con, Sora came over whenever my parents weren't home to talk to Cloud about the details and than work with me about cosplays to wear.
Sora was really into Mario Cart so he wanted to be Mario and was showing me his progress of making it so far and thought I would be a great Captain Toad since I always use him. He help me make the cosplay as well.

Cloud smirk to hand us paperwork in back "Our rooms are all set we are both on top floor".
Sora looked at the papers "These rooms are huge Cloud you went overboard".
"Always does" Zack mumble.
Cloud had sweat drop "When you play all over the place you get nice things from people. I was in Arendale with Zack and on the way back I stopped at the few clubs to get some business along the way. This guy name Mickey owns the building that the con is being set up in and offer the room for making there club so popular".
"So very cool" Sora looked at me to whisper "It's one bedroom" he blush slightly.
I blush slightly to be nervous already. I move hand to his chin to look in his eyes "I can sleep on the floor if you want me to".
Sora shook his head no cutely to move hand to mine to get in my lap to cuddle into my arms cutely "I wish we could always be like this".
"Me too" I whisper to have arms around him to keep him close so we could get some sleep like Zack was getting.
When we arrived we got out bags to notice that it was getting busy for the con starting tomorrow "If you guys need anything we will be right down the hall" Cloud said stepping out the elevator to our floor.
It was really only our two rooms on the floor as I let Sora into the room to see living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom out in the open with no walls blocking anthing except the bathroom. It was all windows with the shades down "This is insane".
Sora jumped on the bed "Oh my god this places wants everyone so comfy".
"I mean there is a lot business here, I am not shocked" I set bags down by the bed and explore the kitchen it was empty "Are you hungry?".
"I am" Sora sat up to look on the night stand to look at menu "Food stands haven't set up yet so...room service it is".
We called in for the food and ate on the couch to watch the updates of the con on the tv.
"We have to wake up early to get to the event early" Sora rest head on my lap to look up at me.
"It will be hard to sleep sort of nervous being in cosplay" I played with Sora hair.

Sora alarm woke us up in the morning. We took a shower separately and got dressed in our cosplay while eating breakfast. Sora took pictures of us "Lets go".

"We should get your stuff in the room so we don't have to carry it" both our hands were full of bags.
"True lets go" Sora said "Plus I have to pee and the line is too long for the public bathrooms".
We headed back to the room after of hours of fun to drop off everything and to use the bathroom.
Sora was sitting on the bed texting away when I got out the bathroom "Sorry my mom just wanted pictures" he puts his phone away to look up at me.

Sora moves back to take my hand "Let's go" he smiled as I follow him back out the hotel and we explore Twilight Town to see the theater shows happening in the allies. "Maybe they get in trouble for it?" I was curious if they didn't have a theater in the town.
"Maybe" Sora said as we cross the bridge to head into a theme park where other cosplayers were going on the rides.
"You know Valentines day passed" Sora said to point out the tunnel of love "You have to make it up to me by going on that ride".
"Oh do I" I smirk to move arms around his waist to wait on the short line.
"Yes" Sora smirk back to kiss my lips in gentle pecks.
"Toad and Mario. I ship it!" one girl shouted walking away with her friends.
I chuckle softly "Being in public like this where no one knows who we are is fun" I admitted.
"I agree" Sora got us in the swan to start floating in.
Both of us blushing, Sora looked in the water "I ...want to be with you Riku" he couldn't look at me but he was blushing deep.

"You know your parents won't allow it. As nice as they are they will say we are too young to make such rash decisions. I am sure Axel would live there if Roxas has his way" I sight softly.
"I hate when your right" Sora mumble to grab my shirt a bit to look in my eyes to whisper "Kiss me".

I said my goodbyes to head back in van so I could get home. Dad wasn't home but my mother listen about how my trip was. Cloud took Zack home.
"You had your fun Riku now I want you to get back to studying okay. Your father couldn't stop nagging me about it week" my mother sigh to kiss my head "I love you sweetie".
"Love you too mom" I mumble to make my way up to my room to sit my desk to notice Sora text "See you at school" putting a heart emoji as I smiled to send a heart emoji back.
Sora really was my better half.
