I do not own Harry Potter, or anything to do with Assassins Creed.
Hello guys, Badger here. It's been a while. Sorry about that. Things have been crazy lately. I've recently started my new year at Uni, so spent a few weeks preparing, as well as going out with friends and getting quite drunk. I still feel a bit hungover in all honesty. But now I'm back and hopefully, will get into some kind of writing consistency.
Now, I'm not a big fan of this chapter. It's fine. It's decent. But when writing the ending, I hit a major writers block, as I wasn't sure how to put idea to paper. I was able to write it eventually, but I feel like it lets the chapter down a bit. So, I hope you enjoy this chapter and I will see you at the end.
Chapter 5
The Boy-Who-Lived Raised By Assassins, Preposterous
Azelinus Rodin, one of the Master Templars within the Templar Order, made his way towards the Grand Master's Chambers. Whilst the Grand Master didn't like being disturbed, he had news that he believed the Grand Master would be interested to hear. Entering the Grand Master's Chambers, Azelinus stopped, when he saw the sight in front of him. He immediately knew something had happened. The Grand Master, Tullius Vasari, was fuming, as he looked at a young boy, one of the Templar Order's newest Disciples. The poor boy was fidgeting on his feet, trying not to crumble in fear from the looks the Grand Master was giving him. Deciding to wait for the Grand Master to finish whatever business he had going on, Azelinus remained where he was, taking a respectful stance as he watched the conversation before him. Whilst Azelinus wasn't sure, just yet, what had gotten the Grand Master in such an angry state, one thing he did know was that, sooner or later, the Disciple was going to be dead one way or another.
"You're telling me that the Assassins have taken over one of our main camps in Britain and have killed Sanson Gray, one of our best Master Templars, which I had tasked with finding one of the Pieces of Eden?!" Tullius said, his temper rising even more, as he spoke
"Y-yes Grand Master" The Disciple said, nervously, sweat starting to fall down his brow "I was…I was barely able to escape…a group of Assassins had snuck into the camp, any surviving Templars were captured, with plans for them to face trial at the Assassins Council…"
The Disciple was unable to say anymore, as Tullius had swung his arm in a wide arc, slashing the boys throat with a silver dagger. The Grand Master had moved so quickly, the Disciple didn't even see the dagger, until he fell to his knees, catching a glimpse of the dagger, as his vision blurred, it's blade now stained with blood. Falling to the ground, hands on his throat, the Disciple twitched on the ground, choking on his blood which was starting to bubble inside his mouth. After a few seconds, the Disciple stopped twitching, his eyes glazed and foggy, as a thick pool of blood stained the wooden floors of the chambers. Tullius sneered at the boys corpse, as he sheathed his dagger.
"The Assassins seem to be growing more confident with their actions" Azelinus spoke up, now that the entertainment was now over
"Those animals only grow confident, because we are foolish to underestimate them" Tullius growled, as he sat down in a chair, his gaze landing on the chess set beside him, where a game lay unfinished, though it was clear that the black side seemed to be winning "Now, due to our foolishness, those wretched Assassins have gained control of one of our camps, killed one of our best Master Templars and seemed to have overtaken us in the race to find the Piece of Eden believed to be hidden somewhere in Britain"
"A minor setback" Azelinus shrugged "These Assassins stand no chance against the Templar Order…no matter how hard they fight, they cannot escape the New World Order…when that day comes, I promise you Grand Master, any surviving Assassins will be captured and executed"
"I have no reason to doubt you, Azelinus, you have proven to be one of the most devoted members of the Templar Order" Tullius said, turning his attention to the Master Templar "Now, tell me what brings you to my Chambers…you never enter here without permission, unless you have dire news"
"Dire, would be correct, Grand Master" Azelinus nodded "I received word from one of our Disciples…it seems Mentor Auditore of the Assassins Creed is on his way to Britain!"
"Mentor Auditore, you say?" Tullius asked, leaning back in his seat "On his way to Britain…what reason would he have for travelling overseas, especially with the conflict within this country growing more and more every passing day…"
"I am unsure, Grand Master "Azelinus replied "The Assassins couldn't have possibly found the whereabouts, or a least clues to the location, of the Piece of Eden"
"I doubt it" Tullius said, rubbing his beard "If the Assassins received word on the whereabouts, we would've heard the same…no…I think he's heading there for another reason"
"So what's our next move, Grand Master?" Azelinus asked
"Our next move?" Tullius repeated "After our recently deceased friend here informed me of our recent loss within Britain, the Assassins power cannot be allowed to grow any stronger…therefore, Azelinus, you will head over there yourself and take some trusted men along with you…once you arrive, do everything within your power to locate the Piece of Eden before those mongrels do…with such power in our grasp, it will give us a significant advantage in this war…and whilst you're doing that, find out what Mentor Auditore's intentions are within Britain…if, he does in fact know the whereabouts of the Piece of Eden, terminate him and any Assassins that stand by his side, before they get the chance to find it!"
"I will do as you command Grand Master" Azelinus bowed "You have my word!"

The Boy-Who-Lived Returns, And He's Not Alone
Dear readers, as I'm sure you all know, Harry Potter, The Boy-Who-Lived, recently arrived at Hogwarts for his First Year at Hogwarts. This is a day, many have been anticipating. The day, the Saviour of the Wizarding World is officially enrolled at Hogwarts. However, students and professors alike, were in for a surprise when Harry Potter arrived at Hogwarts, alongside two men, each one dressed in strange white robes. Many students have written letters to their families, each one as confused as the last, wondering who these men are. According to the letter many, including members of the Ministry, has received, Harry Potter has been in their care for the last ten years. This raises the question of what happened to our Saviour after the attack on the Potters, on that dreadful Halloween Night.
As Albus Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts, was the one who announced to the Wizarding World, that Harry Potter was safe and placed in a secure location, the Minister of Magic plans to speak with the Headmaster personally, about where he had sent Harry all those years ago and meet these two men, personally.
…
Dumbledore sighed, rubbing his face, as he put down the newest edition of the Daily Prophet. He was sat in his office, when Master Atsu and Warrior Badger entered his office and brought the latest news to his attention. Pinching the bridge of his nose, Dumbledore turned his attention to the two Assassins in his office, both of which looked calm about the news, though James didn't look happy about it.
"I hope you are prepared" Dumbledore said "When the Minister arrives, I imagine it wouldn't be long until the whole Wizarding World knows about the Assassins Creed and your war with the Templars"
"We are aware" Toma replied "Mentor Auditore plans to speak with your government about an alliance…however, if an alliance is to be made, then the Assassins Creed has to take the risk of stepping into the light, after hiding from the governments shadows for several centuries, as we can't remain hidden for much longer with our presence insides Hogwarts"
Dumbledore nodded and went to speak, however before he could, the door to his office opened where Professor McGonagall entered. Behind the Transfiguration Professor was the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, Head of the DMLE, Amelia Bones and School Governor, Lucius Malfoy. Seeing the three behind McGonagall, Dumbledore stood up from his seat, silently praying that things didn't come to blows, whilst Master Atsu and Warrior Badger stood to one side, where the Headmaster noticed the slight change in their body language. Whilst the two Assassins weren't expecting a fight to occur, they still stood ready, just in case things went south, for whatever reason.
"Corenlius, to what do I owe the pleasure for this unexpected visit?" Dumbledore asked
"You've read the Daily Prophet, Dumbledore" Cornelius replied, spotting the newspaper sat on the Headmasters desk "I'm sure you know why I am here this morning…we would like to know where Harry has been for the last decade"
"Perhaps we can take over from here, Professor Dumbledore" Toma said, taking a step forward "Am I right in assuming that, you are the Minister of Magic?"
"I am" Cornelius replied, standing straighter, as he gave Toma and James a suspicious look "I am Cornelius Fudge, Minister of Magic…who are you?"
"I am Master Toma Atsu, and this is Warrior James Badger" Toma said, gesturing to himself and James "We have been Harry Potters guardians for the past ten years"
"Albus Dumbledore placed Harry Potter within your care?" Amelia Bones spoke up, eyeing Toma and James with suspicion and intrigue, taking in their attire, wondering who they were
Toma held up his hand, noticing Dumbledore was about to speak up. Dumbledore nodded in understanding and sat down in his seat, allowing for Master Atsu to take control of the situation. As the matter at hand involved an alliance between the Wizarding World and the Assassins Creed, with a ongoing war getting worse every day, Dumbledore figured that they should be the ones to formulate said alliance. Giving Dumbledore a grateful nod, he turned back to the members of the Ministry.
"Not exactly madam" Toma said "Professor Dumbledore didn't place Novice Potter within our care…he had placed him in the care of his relatives…however, he had left the baby on their doorstep..."
"So you kidnapped the boy" Lucius Malfoy said, with a gleeful look on his face
"You say kidnapped, we say saved" Toma said, eyes narrowing "It was cold that night…we merely took the boy, to guarantee he wouldn't die from the exposure to the cold…we had planned to return him, however, the Mentors of our organisation took a liking to him"
"Organisation?" Cornelius replied "What organisation?"
"The Assassins Creed" Toma said
"Assassins?" Lucius repeated
The Malfoy Patriarch kept his expression neutral but, internally, he was positively gleeful, as well as cautious. Lucius had never heard of the 'Assassins Creed', this stranger mentioned, but he was practically giddy as he thought of the benefits they could give the Dark Lord, if they joined his cause. Lucius knew the Dark Lord wasn't dead. He was one of the lucky few who was told by the Dark Lord himself, he had found a way to cheat death, though he didn't explain how. It wouldn't be long, however, until the Dark Lord made his triumphant return. When he did, these Assassins could prove to be a useful asset.
Lucius may not know anything about the Assassins Creed, but he was certain they had secrets and knowledge, the Wizarding World scarcely understood. The fact that Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived of all people, was a part of their organisation could also prove to be beneficial for their cause. However, Lucius was going to have to remain cautious. As he knew nothing about the Assassins Creed, he couldn't be sure as to how much of a problem they could be, if they became an enemy of the Dark Lord. After their business was taken care of, Lucius was going to send a letter to Draco, with instructions to get into the Boy-Who-Lived good graces, where hopefully, the boy will tell him more about the Assassins Creed.
"Assassins!" Cornelius yelled, as he turned to Dumbledore "Albus Dumbledore, you told the Wizarding World that Harry Potter was safe and yet, it turns out…he was being raised by….a bunch of cutthroats!"
"The Assassins Creed aren't cutthroats" James spoke up for the first time "We fight for peace…peace for all…whilst doing everything we can to protect innocents caught in the cross fire"
"You fight for peace?" Amelia Bones spoke up, before Cornelius could speak up, she had a bad feeling about these strangers and wasn't happy that Assassins had raised the Boy-Who-Lived, but she wanted to find out more "Why do you fight for peace…and who are you fighting with?"
"Ma'am, there is so much going on in the world, you don't know about" Toma explained, placing a hand against James' shoulder "The Assassins Creed has been at war, for centuries, against an organisation for the Templars…an organisation, run by tyrants, who wants to create a New World Order, with them as humanities rulers…despite our best efforts, the Templars grow stronger every day and we fear the Assassins will lose this war and peace in the world will be lost…therefore, one of our leaders will be making his way here, in hopes of discussing an alliance with the Wizarding World"
"You want….the Wizarding World to make an alliance with…Assassins?" Cornelius asked, his anger replaced with shock and surprise
"An alliance that will prove beneficial for both sides" Toma said "We understand that, out there, there are people who supported some Dark Lord, people who will try anything to avenge their Master…if, somehow, they learn of the Templars, and an alliance is made, it will prove disastrous for both of us"
Cornelius paled. Over the past decade there had been peace in the Wizarding World, though everyone knew that there were some people, Death Eaters and supporters of You-Know-Who, were less then happy about their Masters death. He didn't dare think what would happen if they formed an alliance with these…'Templars'.
"I can…understand these concerns" Cornelius said, his previous anger forgotten "May I speak with Harry Potter….there are questions I have for the boy"
Master Atsu nodded and the Assassins led the members of the Ministry out of Dumbledores office, each one left with more questions then answers.
…
And done. Like I said, I feel like the ending for this chapter lets it down. I just couldn't put words on the page. I must've rewrote it five times before just thinking 'Fuck it' and sticking to what was written.
Anyway, I have news. I have an idea for a new story. A story where Harry became blind when Voldemort attacked the Potters. In the story I plan for Harry's magic to give him some kind of super sense, like Daredevil from Marvel. So, if any of you know of any stories of a Blind Harry, please let me know of the title and author name so I can do some research to help me develop my story. For now though, that is all, if you have a story request feel free to let me know and I will see you next time.
Badger Out.
