Today I'm writing a Horimiya story for everyone. It may seem a bit ooc in some parts, but most au's usually are ooc. There is an implied future pairing of Ishikawa and Hori, so keep that in mind when reading.
Also, this story is unedited and there is no beta. I wrote it before class today so I didn't have time.
Hori frowned as she was walking to school. Miyamura told her that he couldn't walk with her and couldn't explain why. This was the third time in the same week that he cancelled on her. Was everything okay?
'I suppose only time will tell.'
When she made it to Katagiri, Hori was met with Ishikawa by the front gates. Her friend looked serious, and she couldn't figure out why. It brought her worry of Miyamura back to the front of her mind. Could Ishikawa know something she didn't? It was certainly possible. Shaking her head, Hori walked up to her friend.
"Hey Ishikawa, what's going on? You're not usually here to greet me in the mornings."
The purple haired teen stayed silent for a few more minutes before he grabbed Hori's hand and began walking to the roof of the school.
"We need to talk, because I found out something that isn't too good."
It seemed as though some of Hori's worries were being given life. The only problem was she wasn't sure which worry it was.
"What is it? Is there something wrong with Miyamura? Or is it something with Yuki? Neither of them has messaged me aside from Miyamura's cancellation for out school walk." Hori rambled as her nerves took over.
"I don't want to say it here, we can talk about it up on the roof, but I'm warning you that it isn't pretty. I've only been sitting on this information for about thirty minutes."
Hori frowned once more. "O- okay."
Once the two walked through the door to the roof, Ishikawa walked over to a hidden corner and slowly slid down the stone wall. Hori was quick to join.
"I found out why Miyamura and Yoshikawa have been cancelling on us the past few days." Ishikawa frowned and looked at his locked hands that were settled against his thighs.
"Well, what is it then?"
Ishikawa took a deep breath and finally let the ball drop. "Miyamura is cheating on you with Yoshikawa. I- I saw them this morning when I was walking to the classroom. They were underneath one of the stairways making out. Neither noticed me so I took a short video as evidence." At his last statement, Ishikawa took out his phone and pressed play as he handed his phone to Hori.
The poor brunette sat there as she watched the video play repeatedly. Her heart breaking over and over again the more times it replayed. She didn't know what to do. Hori wasn't aware there was even a problem. Things were going so well and now… she just got cheated on. It wasn't even like Miyamura to do something like this, but then again, it's never obvious who the cheaters are until they're caught.
Ishikawa looked at his friend with sadness and just pulled her into a side hug. "I won't let him get away with this Kyouko."
Hori turned and held on tightly to Ishikawa as tears began to flow down her face in salty waterfalls. She cried and cried for what felt like hours. Eventually, the school bell rang, and her tears slowly stopped.
"Come on Kyo, let's get you to the bathrooms to wash up for class. I won't leave you alone today. I promise." Ishikawa picked up Hori and held her like she was a valued princess.
After Hori was finished refreshing herself in the girl's bathroom, she kept silent. The normally loud girl was quieter than a mouse. Ishikawa just walked next to her and gave his own support. It baffled him on why his friend would do this to Hori, but he would never forgive him regardless.
As the two walked through the class door, Hori made her way to her seat as Ishikawa informed the teacher that he would be sitting next to Hori for the day. Since it was pick your own seat anyways, the teacher didn't care.
Ishikawa took his seat next to Hori and class began. He did everything in his power to help out the brunette, but it seemed like the poor girl wasn't in the mood anymore.
Miyamura kept making glances at Ishikawa, but the only thing given in return was a frown.
After class ended for lunch, Hori was the first to leave the classroom. Ishikawa was the next to begin walking out when he was stopped by Miyamura.
"What's going on with Hori? She usually eats lunch in here with us."
Ishikawa didn't want to answer but knew he would have to give something in order to leave.
"She hasn't said. Though even if she did, I wouldn't tell anyone. It's her story to give. And anyways, you're her boyfriend, aren't you? So, shouldn't you be the one comforting her? Doesn't matter, I'll just keep helping her in any way that I can." He shoved past Miyamura and followed after Hori.
Once Ishikawa found Hori, he made his way to her and wrapped his arm around her left shoulder.
"I'm sorry I couldn't catch up, Miyamura wouldn't let me leave the classroom until I answered his questions. Of course, I didn't say anything of importance though."
Hori just nodded and continued to lean against the same wall they had been against earlier.
"I don't know what to do. I never even saw this coming. What did I even do wrong? I know I asked for some pretty weird things, but I never thought he would cheat on me." She leaned into Ishikawa.
Ishikawa just wrapped his other arm around her and began to gently stroke her hair. "Some people are like that Kyo, and there isn't anything we can do about it. They will get what they deserve before time is up, I promise you."
Tears began to fall down Hori's cheeks for the second time that day, and this time, the two didn't get up to finish class for the day. It wasn't important in that moment anyways.

Thank you everyone for reading this story, I know it isn't what I usually write, but I wanted to try writing for this anime. I don't plan on adding any other chapters unless asked, but hopefully you enjoyed regardless!
