"Hey, wake up! Seiichi wake up! It's your audition today!!" A long brown haired woman yelled, while shaking her eldest son awake with no success coming.
"He won't wake up like that mom!" A child's voice yelled from another room, "I'll wake him up, I'm almost ready anyway." The boy said upon reaching the doorway of his brother's bedroom.
Himura Shinji.
That was the boy's name, he was a young boy of seven years of age with blackish hair that included a cowlick on the front and a distinctive tuft in the back. Not mentioning his blue shining eyes that held a lot of happiness and joy in them.
Shinji walks up to his brother's bed after his mother leaves the room, then takes the edge of the blanket, but instead of pulling it, he lifts the blanket and crawls underneath before starting to tickle his brother awake.
Soon enough his brother's voice rang out through the room in the form of high laughter and giggles. The high schooler then threw the blanket off of the bed before catching his brother.
"You asked for it!" He then proceeded to tickle his younger brother, who grabbed the pillow next to him and turned it into a pillow fight.
Himura Seiichi.
That was the older brother's name, he was actually a carbon copy of his little brother, yet his eyes and figure were more mature than the little one, he was of sixteen years of age, and was a well known actor and a genius in that field that had won him awards for best teenage acting.
And today was the audition for another series he will participate in.
And his brother's first day into the career.
"Hey, you two up there!! You are running late already, so get ready! You don't want to cause trouble on the first day, do you?!"
A voice -seemingly their mother- yelled from somewhere downstairs, predictably she didn't like that they were running late again, as a former actress who is going back into the career for the series they were going to start filming in two weeks.
"We're coming!" Shinji yelled back before turning to his brother, "Get ready, niichan, or we will leave you behind again."
Being left behind had happened before when he refused to wake up once, he was then forced to take the train which resorted to getting him recognised by a crowd and putting him in trouble yet again. He winced at the memory before nodding.
It's going to be a long day.
"Next!" The man at the front desk -Minoru- yelled, upon seeing the person who came to him half an hour ago leaving with a red face and a child crying in her arms, apparently it was another failed audition.
"Hi, I came to audition for Gin." Came the next person.
"Oh, another audition for Gin then. Finally someone else came, it seemed like no one wanted to audition for him, you're the second."
"What happened to the one before me?" The man auditioning for Gin asked, feeling nervous somehow.
"He was talented but he wasn't enough for Gin or the director, he wasn't the same build it seems, but he got to do officer Takagi, the lucky guy."
"That's unimaginable luck, seeing that mother and her kid. Who were they auditioning for?" Asked the man.
"They were auditioning for Haibara Ai, seemingly a failure, I knew the moment I saw them that they wouldn't make it. Anyways, what's your name?"
"Kunikida Dobo is my name." said the man.
Minoru wrote that down before continuing the questioning, "And how old are you?"
"I'm turning 34 next Friday."
"Oh happy early birthday then, Kunikida-san, how tall are you?"
"Is that required?" Asked Dobo back, arching an eyebrow.
"You are auditing for Gin after all."
"I'm 190 cm tall."
"Sorry, did you say 190 cm?"
"Umm, yes…?" Dobo half answered half questioned, feeling nervous again.
"Then that's perfect!" Said a grinning Minoru, "Please follow me inside!"
Dobo didn't understand at first the sudden turn of events but when it clicked in he was so happy, seems like they were looking for a tall man to do Gin.
He followed the young man inside, stopping shortly after when the man handed over some paper to whom seemed likely the director, chatting a little with him before heading back to him.
"Good luck there." He told him before leaving.
He stared back at where the young man had disappeared before a voice called him and he turned around to the source of it, swallowing deeply before proceeding with the audition.
"So you want to do Gin?" Asked the man in front of him, looking him up and down.
"Yes, sir." he replied.
"I have some faith in you then, you have Gin's build, that's luck. I am Takahashi Oyama, the director." He gave a little bow.
"Nice to meet you." He was feeling more comfortable by time passing, it seems.
"So could you do this line for me."
He took the paper from his hands and read it carefully before handing it back with a nod.
"Then began."
He took a deep breath before laying his head low, his bangs and fedora casting a shadow on his eyes, a creepy smirk over his lips.
"X…Y…Z…" He started slowly, before lifting his head and locking the director with menace grin cold eyes, smirk widening, "It means it's the end."
The director looked at him with a stunned look, before a shudder crept up his skin, "That was really good, you had me shaking, I think you nailed it, congratulations!"
"So does that mean I am taking the job?!" He asked, the Gin demeanor gone and replaced with a cheerful attitude.
"Of course, you are the best I have seen for years now! Come tomorrow to this address to get to know the rest." He handed Dobo a card before continuing on, "And give this to Minoru outside to let him know Gin's role is taken care of."
"Yes, of course. See you tomorrow, Oyama-sensei."
He then left after giving the papers over to Minoru with joy filling his dancing heart.
